Nice hotel and good price. Only issue I had was with the doors to the stairs / corridor (especially the one in the area of rooms: 251 - 258) as the soft close mechanism didn’t really work, as they slammed at the end, which meant there was loud bangs into the early hours. I checked other doors whilst going to breakfast, and it was an issue across the hotel. I guess an easy fix, but when I stayed (as above) the banging kept waking me up. This being said, the rest of the hotel was great; but probably won’t stay again due to the bad night sleep.

I held my Mother’s 50th birthday party at mercure and it was the most beautiful experience ever ! Staff especially Maria and Justina were so accommodating, kind and supportive and made us feel so welcome and at ease ! The food and rooms were immaculate and t he 24/7 bar was a dream ! Check out is so reasonable and the tvs have Youtube and Netflix ! Their breakfast is delicious and their garden is phenomenal, you must book your stay here !

Group stay. Check in was easy, the rooms were ready on time, some before 1400. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. You do need to hunt the bedside sockets though. Coffee bar in room well stocked and had good variety. Breakfast was well stocked with fresh food being topped up before it ran out. Very good value for money. The thing that let this trip down. Fire alarm activation in the morning during breakfast. Not the fire alarm itself, but the staff looking completely bamboozled by what was going on. No effort to evacuate. Most who did evacuate did so on their own accord with staff remaining inside, still trying to figure out what was going on. We left through the nearest available exit which was partial blocked by a wedding set up in the back breakfast room. On leaving the building I was looking for some signage to take me to a muster point. Nothing. No staff to usher us to a “safe location” on site. When the alarm was silenced. We were unsure if we could re enter the premises…still no direction from staff. I spoke to the manager who seemed to care but was a bit bamboozled. Next day, as I went down for breakfast there was a cleaning cart blocking a fire exit. Down the corridor outside the fire exit was a large piece of plywood half blocking the escape route. Mentioned to the same manager and this cart, and ply wood was moved. The fire safety of this hotel seems to be non existent with staff seemingly having had no live evacuation training or they may have been concerned they would be doing the wrong thing by getting people to leave. Either way, very poorly handled.

Massive bed which was comfortable. Rooms of a good standard. Happy with visit and good night's sleep

Went here for our Christmas doo, great little room with music food is really good, bar is a little on the pricer side but for a hotel that's super clean and an alright bar you can't complain the rooms are clean and spacious and some have propper bath tubs if that's you're thing, reception has super friendly staff too and they really go the extra mile 😀

Booked on an afternoon at short notice to attend function at golf club next door the same evening. Booking.com made a mistake with booking and as I had previously contacted the hotel directly Justina( I think ) contacted me directly and assure us a room was available. So grateful Thank you

Nice location on the edge of MK near the A5. My room was well presented and relatively spacious with a sofa and coffee table. A really nice feature was the underfloor heating in the bathroom. I only stayed one night, and can't comment on other facilities.

Very relaxed atmosphere. Room was spacious and spotless, very comfortable. Friendly accommodating staff all round. Maria on reception was particularly great, she was so accommodating and assisted me with any questions or needs. It was refreshing to have a receptionist with a warm smile. Well done Maria and thank you. I would recommend this hotel especially for its relaxed but professional hospitality.

I I requested a room with a bath.but was very disappointed as I found it very difficult to get in and out. as the class screen did not move and you had to clim in the bath to turn the water on and climb back out to let it fill.witch only comes out of shower head no taps.found it very dangerous.so was no bath for me.must be hard for the cleaners as well.but all staff were lovely.will go again only let down was the bath a shower curtain would be safer for everyone and even easier for your cleaning staff

Turned up late at night with 2 kids. Staff were fantastic with 2 tired kids and made them and us very welcome. Sorted us out, went to room and it stunk of cigarette smoke. Went to reception and nothing was too much trouble to change rooms and sort us out. Very apologetic and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was ok and had everything but nothing fancy. Cannot complain about it. Staff were friendly and everyone of them including kitchen staff made a point of saying good morning. Writing this 1 day into a 2 night stay and very impressed so far!! Staff are amazing and beds are comfy. Good location.

All the staff were really friendly. The breakfast had good choices and ample quantity. Very nice. The standout from the room was the shower ...room 115 the temperature the flow .... probably the best shower I have had in years. It almost like a spa day...

My stay at the hotel was for my best friend’s wedding, which had taken place at an adjacent golf course venue, known as Abbey Hill Golf Centre. The facilities within the hotel itself were of a generally high standard, the staff were friendly and helpful and having a bar within the hotel that operated 24 hours a day certainly added to the enjoyment of my experience at the hotel! However, the bed in the hotel room was slightly uncomfortable and could have been of a better quality. Otherwise, overall it was a great experience and I would consider staying here again in the future.

The mattresses are bad; when you turn on the tap, water splashes all around. The service is good, there is a lot of territory. There is a golf course and a good gym, but the smell in the gym is heavy and the windows don’t open. Good breakfast

Good Hotel a little outside London

Staff are friendly and very helpful. We came for a wedding and I stayed on my own for one night then had two rooms booked for the night of the wedding for my family. Staff kept me in the same room for ease and the second room was next door which was great. The rooms were beautiful, we had a great view of the golf course. I ate in the restaurant with friends on the first night and was very impressed with the food. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice to suit everyone. Amazing gluten free options throughout for both meals. Staff were very accommodating with any requests the wedding party had. Can’t fault the hotel at all.

Nothing like what had seen on pictures I would look at other options before commiting to this hotel wouldn't recommend it

Moth infestation. All over the room. Killed 30. Carpet eaten away in place. Put in another room and that had a few but no eaten carpet. Both rooms had lights that did not work at all and some that flickered or only worked if you moved the wires around.

Amazing place to use for important events in your life. Wish there were more staff at the bar serving people as we had to wait 30 minutes for a latte to be made.

Lovely room overlooking golf course for a bit extra, great value, food, staff facilities etc 10.10 definitely be back. Staff and reception were so so helpful and friendly, can't ask for more . Nice terrace and moonlit view

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Lovely grounds easy to find and lots of parking. Easy checking and friendly staff. There was a bar and restaurant on site but I didn't visit it. Room was lovely and clean. The decor was nice, comfy bed, great shower. I would definitely recommend and such a good price too.

We had an overnight stay in this lovely clean modern hotel. Our room 159 was in a quiet location with a nice view of the grounds. Our room was was spacious and equipped with a big comfy bed, a desk, drinks tray, hairdryer, 2 chairs, lots of lamps and mirrors. An adequate bathroom with everything you need. This room would not be suitable for guests in a wheelchair as wouldn't be able to climb the 3 stairs in the leading corridor from reception and not enough room in the bathroom. This hotel does have accessible rooms. The hotel has a gym with a good selection of equipment. The gym isn't staffed. The hotel backs onto a golf course for those wanting to enjoy a game whilst on holiday. The hotel reception has a special wheelchair lift for guests to be able to get to the bar and restaurant. There are outdoor igloo dining pods which are heated and have a lamp. Nice and warm. The car park does offer disabled parking spaces, however personally I think they needed to be wider, they were quite tight. We would stay here again.
