Delivery and service were good. However, I ordered a chicken rogan josh, pilau rice and garlic naan. I would say that the rogan josh needs way more seasoning/better ingredients for the price it was, it was bland. The garlic naan didn't taste of garlic at all and unfortunately it was undercooked. All bar the naan was edible but I will not be ordering from here again.

seem to get 2 of the same curry for some reason ushaly have no issues but wasn't the best this time.

Paid for a large chicken tikka on Nan and two cans of pop. For one I can’t understand why the chicken and Nan was wrapped in what is best described as fish and chip paper. Most establishments use foil. The food was luke warm at best, I only live 1 mile from the take away. The chicken tikka on nan large was £8.20 you’d have been lucky to get half a chicken breast on the nan. The nan itself obviously wasn’t cooked in a tandor oven and since when do Nan breads look like pizza bases? Appalling

10/10 for food and service! highly recommend. Lovely driver too, who managed to find us out here.

food perfect. delivery perfect. however while serving food to family I slipped (and hurt back badly ) so I called for another calzone asking for price and possibility of ordering one. apart from laughter in different language ( surely, I am from central erurope and I understand few of them), this company should make sure they know they shouldn't laugh from someone they don't even know as I understood everything 😄 so hawk. so much for asking for calzone pizza. glad my back is not broken.

Asked for normal chicken you gave tikka chicken curry had no flavour or spice and half of it was just tomato’s rip off plus your delivery drive banged on my door like he was the police!!!

I recently had the pleasure of ordering takeout from Meltham Spice, a local favorite of mine. Opting for collection this time, I knew from previous experiences that their delivery in Meltham is impressively fast, so I adjusted my pickup time accordingly. As expected, the food was prepared and waiting when I arrived. For my meal, I ordered the Mexican burger with cheesy chips, while my partner opted for a small portion of cheesy chips and a small donner meat. Meltham Spice has consistently delivered in terms of taste and reliability during past orders, making it a convenient choice for those late work nights. Moreover, the takeaway provides a small waiting area, perfect for those placing orders directly or waiting for their food. Although there are no tables, considering you can’t eat in, it serves as a practical space for a quick stop if you’re ordering on-site or arrive early for a collection. However, on this occasion, I encountered a minor hiccup. Despite specifying cheese on my chips, I received regular chips instead. While not a major issue, it was a deviation from my order preference. Nevertheless, the overall quality of the food remained commendable, and Meltham Spice continues to be my go-to spot for a quick and satisfying meal in the neighborhood.

The Pepporoni Pizza was inedible. It tasted nothing like real Pepporoni. I know you use Turkey as a substitute for Ham for religious reasons, so it was my mistake to order it. I order regularly from you so please don't be offended. The Donner Meat & Chips was great! I expect to order from you in future.

Disappointed. First time ordered from here. Reviews looked decent but food didn’t live up to what was expected. Won’t be rushing back to order - was very average at best! Dry shami, chewy Seehk kebab. Onion pakora poor. Samosa like cardboard. Curries we’re ok but looked very unappealing…. Tins of mush with lots of grease. Chappatis ok. Keema paratha dense, heavy and not very good! On a positive…. Delivered quickly and driver polite.

The chicken wings were awful. Like they was cooked from frozen. Absolutely vile. Chicken pakora were OK. The chips were very nice and crispy

We normally get garlic butter added ontop of the pizza, staff told us it's an extra charge before we got it no probs from the manager as we order via just eat but don't receive a bag so in hind sight that's what covers the garlic butter. It's NOT ADDED as an extra on the menu???

Supposed to be a calzone it turned up looking like a supermarket pizza cut into rectangles also ordered a donner burger (a dish consisting of a flat round cake of minced beef) no burger was in it just two sesame seed buns full of donner meat I cancelled on just eat then the owner rung me to immediate me to justify why I wanted my money back DONT ORDER FROM HERE

The natural sweetness of the Cauliflower, together with the Potatoes and the expert blend of spices was just magic! A very enjoyable meal. The large portion including the Mushroom fried rice made for 2 happy people :-)

This as always been our favorite takeaway and we always order the same thing every time but for the past couple of orders we have had delivered have been poor or wrong. We have just had our food delivered and I didn't have any sauce on my chicken Tikka kebab and my partner's kebab meat was cold also Our chips were over cooked and hard

Ordered a large pitta kebab and got a quarter of a pitta sat on top of a load of meat... just rubbish...it feels like they don't care .... don't waste your money...

had to call multiple times for it and each time they said it was on its way which it was not and then turned up cold

This was the most disgusting food I have ever paid for, we eat Indian food every week, there was absolutely no difference between dishes that were not edible, the rice was plane brown rice not pilau as ordered the chicken was all red with food colouring, the salt content was that high everything was thrown in the Bin, a total Zero for this food. £55 of waste !

The food had no flavour. Everything was extremely salty. The best part of the order was the rice and that was just standard

The burger meat was tough and almost burnt. The chicken in the burger was also tough and hardened. The burger didn’t taste fresh at all but was at least hot. The fries were too crispy and crunchy. Whilst the food was affordable, the quality was lacking but I suppose you get what you pay for.

Chips were undercooked and soggy on both orders an masked with cheese. Also donner meat was utterly disappointing paper thin slices and tasted like it had been warmed up or sat for a while before the order an was quite rubbery

Disappointed this time we’ve ordered food from here a number of time and it’s always been great, this time unfortunately the starter was just lukewarm when it arrived and the onion bhaji looked like the ones you get from frozen food Indian mix ! the mushroom rice lacked mushrooms and seemed very spicy possibly given the wrong rice maybe keema ! Will definitely order again hopefully this was a one off and next time will be back to the usual high standards

Ordered a Bombay potato - it had more half sliced tomatoes in it than potatoes. Potato was clearly out of a tin. Onion bhajis were tiny. Nothing good about this at all. No garlic on the Nan either. Really rubbish

Disgusting curry, nothing like how it’s supposed to be. Ordered pilau rice, got brown rice! Rang them to complain and got hung up on. NEVER ORDER FROM THERE

After all the ravings I got a take out it was dreadful I rang to complain and was told the manager would sort me next time I ordered , the bill was 19.40£ I gave the driver 20£ as I was so happy it came on time and couldn't wait to try the food . AWFULL .

Would have given 6⭐ for the food quality, but the bottom of my burger was soggy and fell apart. The ingredients were delicious but the burger was added last NOT first which it should have been, salad, pineapple on top of the burger 🍔😊👌

We ordered a thin and crispy custom toppings pizza and a deep pan meat feast. Both arrived on time. However, the meat feast was thin and soggy. Phoned to tell them and they confirmed they knew it hadn’t risen, but sent it out anyway?! So they sent out another deep pan. The deep pan that arrived was not a meat feast, but the custom toppings from the thin and crispy. So another incorrect order! This is the second time they have messed up our order and it’s the last. We won’t be using them again.
