Came for a family breakfast. We had a range of full English breakfasts, pancakes and waffles. All were delicious. The full English is one of the best we've had locally. The coffee here is also good. The cafe itself is decorated very nice and the staff are very friendly. We will be back soon.

This is a quirky cafè with a nice ambiance. We enjoyed the meals we had when we finally got them, but sadly the staff seemed very disorganised and were not listening to customers. One of our party ordered a decaf, black coffee and was given a cappuccino, then they completely forgot to bring one of the meals that we’d ordered and paid for! Even the toast that was requested instead of the forgotten meal took 15 minutes to arrive. We were left unimpressed.

Staff were friendly, and let us know a big table had become free inside, but the food was not great. They got so many things wrong with our orders. They put dairy squirty cream on top of a non-dairy chia drink!! They were told no cream on top! This is serious cause my daughter is lactose intolerant, that's why she had dairy alternative drink!!! Brown was asked for (toasted), and we got white! They said they couldn't cut the avocado as it was too hard! We were offered an alternative, we asked if they could cook the bacon really well, so it is crisp, and I even over explained what I meant. They said yes, it was not cooked how I asked. They main part of our food came out while the waitress was asking what alternative we wanted!!!!!! The food was so greasy and more like something from a greasy spoon cafe (no disrespect to a greasy spot) We wouldn't recommend here for a breakfast, may be a sandwich or a bagel or waffle is OK. And if you have an intolerance or allergy triple check they heard you, Or may be best not go here if you do. We will not be going again

The meltaway cafe in worksop is a lovely place to visit. The staff are excellent and friendly. The food is very tasty and the premises are perfect for people with mobility difficulties or parents with pushchairs as it has a lift to the upper floor and accessible toilets.

What a fab little find! Gorgeously decorated little tea rooms unexpectedly in the centre of Worksop. Great customer service and wonderful food at competitive prices. Recommend the open baguettes (be very hungry!!) and the lemon polenta cupcakes. Good cappuccinos too. Tables are split over two floors with a wheelchair accessible lift between the two, almost like a mezzanine. Loved the quirky style. Toilets very clean. Will definitely be returning.

I have visited meltaway on bridge street Worksop for the last 2yrs. The premises are excellent for people with limited mobility or wheelchair users. It has ample seating and a lift to the upper floor with accessible toilet. The staff are always cheerful and very helpful. They never get stressed even on busy periods and carry items to every table. I tried the new menu yesterday. The pork cutlet was baked in breadcrumbs with cheese and bacon. It melted in your mouth. It also came with potato wedges and a leek and carrot salad which was lovely. The staff yesterday were Angelica in the kitchen and on the front was Sabina and joweta. Everything was cooked well and was hot and very tasty. Nobody was kept waiting and I would recommend the cafe/ bistro to anyone. The menu is available Monday and Tuesday from 9am to 4pm and Wednesday to Saturday from 9am to early evening. I hope this business goes from strength to strength as their isn't another one with a lift in Worksop but everything is well presented and filling. The prices are very reasonable too and they now have a alcohol licence with a variety of beers, wines and cocktails available.

The staff were friendly, the restaurant is clean and well themed. Food and cocktails are excellent. Great choice and variety of food. Food took a little while to come out as it was obviously freshly cooked. Had the bao buns that were great. Shall definitely be going again.

Had a booked table plenty of staff stood around wandering doing absolutely nothing but chatting and stood leaning against the walls chilling. I’m sorry but we came from a booked table waited ages to get seated even though we were the only ones waiting and then get left not told anything and then get rude staff and awful service at the bar (when paying this much shouldn’t have to go wait in a queue at the bar!) so left and gone elsewhere won’t be back!

Went for Sunday Dinner and got our drinks. Then had to wait 1 hour & 15 minuets for our food, 2 of them being the incorrect meats, the food was nice but not very hot. It was a real shame. The worst part was the service, it was absolutely terrible, miserable, very very rude and disinterested. It seemed that people who appeared to be regulars got looked after much much better than anybody else with fast service than anybody else. However, we were left with empty plates for approx 20 minuets once we had finished, then 10 minuets for a dessert menu. After we had finished we asked for the bill, eventually a server threw the receipt on our table and walked off without saying anything, which we all found incredibly rude and un-professional. Eventually after another lengthy wait we decided to get up and go to them in order to pay as it seemed they had forgotten about us completely. However, others got there bill and the card machine immediately after. Very very poor & will not be returning, will also let everybody know to give it a miss.
