Absolutely beautiful Sunday lunch with a 25% discount card. And fare priced meals. If you want to try book early as it gets really busy.

Called in on Saturday whilst my son was at cricket practice. First ever visit to a Brewers Fayre and I was really impressed. The staff were friendly and helpful, the steak was cooked to perfection and was piping hot. Really nice pub. Looking forward to going back.

Myself and the team met here for a business meeting followed by some lunch. The quiet and calm atmosphere was the perfect place for us. Everyone was very happy with their lunch too! I had the lasagne and it was fantastic, I’ll definitely be coming back again!

King William's is a fabulous place for a meal just for 2 or for all your family and friends I would recommend it.

This place has a wonderful and welcoming atmosphere, the staff couldn’t help enough. The friendly staff also offered some great hospitality by suggesting the bestselling dishes that are on offer. The clean and organised space left room for good memories. If I remember right, the front of house staff members Abi, Katie and Becca, were all lovely to speak too. Really put a smile on my face. The food was outstanding, a classic pie option that I gobbled up and it was delicious, hot and creamy. Couldn’t be happier with this experience, will come regularly!

Went to king William for my sons 16th Birthday on bank holiday Monday there was 23 of us in total. Jordan B took the order at the till spot on. The meals was served quickly and all came out together brilliant - food all good. Took a birthday cake which the staff brought out. Thank you for the fab service 👍👍

Top food. Had £10.99 breakfast 2 adults and 3 kids. Kids eat free so cost us £22 absolute bargain.

The place was completely empty on a Friday night. We quickly understood why. They had what they called an equipment failure and no gas available for drinks. It was more likely they messed up their gas order. I asked for a diet coke and the barman pointed at 2 opened supermarket bottles of 2l behind the counter. As I did not want a completely flat drink I ask for an alternative and the barman just looked at me. When our food arrive it was awfull, the homemade coleslaw was so dried it looked like it was made a week ago and my chicken breastfeeding had no taste whatsoever. When you pass this place run as fats as you can in the opposite direction.

I visited with my mum Tuesday 20th Febuary 2024, with all due respect there were big party in so the queues for the bar was quite big, but ended up leaving before we had our dessert because a table of silver surfers made fun of me whilst getting a drink and I wouldn't have believed it I haven't heard it for myself, these people should have been made to leave the premises and talking down to staff which they can't help being short staffed, I never got the bbq sauce that I asked for when my meal came, I won't be visiting ever again until they have banned the 12 o clock silver surfers, Just because there old they think there entitled to there opinion where and whenever, which they needed to show a little respect to other customers and staff.

First time I’ve been in here a while - it’s one of my favourite family pubs in the area and it didn’t disappoint, nice atmosphere for a family pub- and excellent service. Even tried to find us a table despite being exceptionally busy. Food was perfect - cannot fault anything at all

So...... This evening I went to the King William pub at Oldcoats with a friend for an evening meal. I had not set foot in this place since I was in my teens, but as it was close by I thought it would be a good place to go. Needless to say, I will never set foot in this place again. My friend went to the bar to order our food and drinks. The bar was empty, there was no queue, yet my friend stood there for almost 10 minutes without being served. The staff saw them standing there, but continued their conversation, and spoke to others who had already been served but did not make as much as eye contact with my friend. It was at this point that we decided to leave and go somewhere else. The friend that I was with is a person of colour. They are a professional who has dedicated their life to the service of others. And to enter a public establishment and to see my friend treated the way that they were has angered more than I can put into words. I have never been so embarrassed of the colour of my own skin or the fact that I am classed as White British, as I am today. I would emplore everyone that I know, and everyone that reads this post to judge each and every person as an individual, and to base that judgement on the individuals actions and behaviour towards you, and not to base judgement on the colour of a person's skin, or believes you think they hold. Each and every one of us are different, and we all have our own believes, but does any of that even matter if we just treat each other with respect and kindness, and get to know one and other before judging. My heart is literally breaking at the moment with the unrest that seems to be consuming everyday life

Been coming here for years and it's always been a good meal. Service great very friendly staff and service fast. Good portions and really good price due to it being my partners birthday so she got a free meal as we are Brewers Fayre members, Ialso got a Blue Light discount. Mixed Grill and Smothered Platter all cooked great. The only down side was we moved table as under the aircon and it was cold, also my partner said all of the female toilets had broken locks.

We did go to a brewer's fayre pub in years after being disappointed in the past and it has not change whatsoever. We booked a table for 3 for 7pm and on arrival the place was extremely quiet but despite that there was no staff around to great us at the kiosk and the phone which was there constantly ringing remained unanswered. After about 10 mns wait a young lady attended to us and just showed us to our table. She never asked if we had been before or explained how it worked she just assumed we knew everything. When we went to order at the bar there was a note saying that due to equipment failure the draught Pepsi/coca cola refills were unavailable. When I asked what was the alternative the staff showed me a couple of 2 Liters supermarket Coke and Diet Coke bottles he had on the counter behind him with the lids open. I pointed out that keeping the lids open will cause the fizz in the bottles to go and therefore render the drinks completely flat. He just looked at me as if to say what do you want me to do about it? I understand that most people are drinking beer or alcohol but for people like us who do not do so a flat fizzy drink is definitely not the best alternative. I just could not grasp why it was so difficult for him to closed the lids on the bottles after each use beside laziness. We decided to have lime and soda water which came in can for which we got charged £2.60 a can. This is the most expensive lime and soda we ever had. When the food came it was not better the homemade coleslaw looked like it was made 3 days ago as the mayonnaise on it seemed like it all dried off, the salad had barely any dressing on it and the grilled chicken was completely covered with melted cheese all over to hide the fact it was only on the grill for like 30 seconds. As for the skin on fries half of them were ratty and burnt out. When we left, there was only 2 tables occupied in the restaurant and yet no staff in sight anywhere to thank us and wish us goodbye. We could have left with tables and chairs or with the tills and no one would have noticed. I am really surprised that this chain is still in business, it is supposed to be a community pub but I actually thing that they hate the community. We have not use our rewards card for years and we do not attend to do so anytime soon or distant. In fact I have decided to completely discard it.

First of all, I would like to mention that the food is quite ok from 1 to 10, it deserves a score of 7, but the service staff wowwww are below mediocre level, as far as I know in any kind of restaurant someone takes you then when you sit down at a table you are offered a menu, and here there is a complete lack of food The environment is super ok, but with small improvements and the desire to work, they can be solved Hello staff, the next time someone sits down at a table to eat, please also offer wipes because they are cheap

Poor service, was queuing at the bar for 20mins with 1 staff serving drinks while all others just wonder about looking daft, then had to queue for the carvery again for another 20mins. Nearly 15pound for a carvery is all good if the food is decent but the beef was tough as leather and the roasties was soggy there is a very small selection of veg and that was also soggy. Very over priced for the service will definitely not be returning.

On arrival it appeared to be a clean, well presented pub. Unfortunately it was down hill from there. The staff appeared to be running around like headless chickens. On a busy Sunday only two were on the bar so you can imagine the wait time and only one staff on the food counter serving the roast. The beef was dry and chewy, absolutely full of gristle. The veg was ok but wasn't exactly hot. I mentioned it to a young girl collecting the plates and she was absolutely clueless. I'm sorry but nice surroundings, but understaffed and totally mismanaged.

We visited for the carvery on Father’s Day. The restaurant was very busy as usual but we had booked as the carvery is very popular in the area, the service was excellent. The meats excellent and all the vegetables hot and fresh. We had a great Father’s Day - Thanks to all the Staff!

I dined there with my family which included 2 young children. The service was exceptional, friendly and fast. The menu had something on to suit each of us without compromise and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food. Can't recommend this highly enough - a superb venue for families. Thank you to all staff for a lovely evening.

Was clearly a busy day and lots of the tables were consumed with glasses, service took a while but we were prepared by staff for that. Food was nice, would say we weren't full but ate everything.

I took my 2 young grandchildren, partner, and daughter after a full day out at langold. The food, staff, and place were fab, but being a sunday, a few of the older, possibly regular customers, were not happy at a table with "youngsters" 3yr old and 5 year old making noise etc. Even though we were there before they arrived. We definitely got funny and disgruntled looks. Felt like we shouldn't have been in the place.

We love this pub as a couple or with family Lovely atmosphere and staff are exceptional. Becks front of house is always very accommodating and always seats us in the quiter area when we ask so we can enjoy a few games of Rummikub. Plenty of choice for food and drink and the sunday carvery is lovely. We would recommend the King Billy to all

We came for a business meeting and stayed for lunch after. The whole experience was brilliant and Mark pulled out all the stops to make sure we were very well accommodated with some lovely vegan options.

Visited today for a meal for my daughter birthday. The food was lovely but what stood out most was the staff. They were all so polite and welcoming the male manager was kind to my little girl and wished her happy birthday. And when my daughter fell and split her lip (her own fault) the manager gave both girls an icelolly. I've only been here once before but I will definitely be back.

Another very enjoyable evening at this welcoming resturant, nice personal welcome from our host Rebecca making us feel special, great service from all the staff with a special mention to Ella who made ordering our drinks and food a lovely experience, excellent food delivered by a very pleasnt friendly waitress just adding to the nice atmosphere, well done to all.

We arrived to a busy restaurant and was taken over to our table. I decided to have the carvery, everything was perfect! The meat lovely and tender the vegetables fresh and hot, the gravy lovely and thick just as I like it! We also ordered smothered chicken and children’s spaghetti bolognaise, all food fantastic. My little boy managed a chocolate brownie for dessert, he really enjoyed it all. Katie and Abby who served us on the bar were very friendly.

We are Sunday regulars, staff are lovely and extremely efficient and the food is always excellent. We usually have carvery but there is a really good choice of food on the menu, and they have a nice little park for the kids to play on too.

What can I say apart from FANTASTIC! I feel like an elastic band because we keep going back here every week to have Sunday lunch and it is nothing but superb! The staff: Starting with Becks, the manageress, who is brilliant. A first class 'Front of House' manager who runs the place very well. You can always tell a good manager through their staff and the general ambience of the atmosphere in how they all work and get on with each other. You've Adam and Aaron on the carvery counter and with Katie, Sharon, Ella that we know well on the waitressing side and James behind the bar. There are other staff that all work equally well but we just haven't got to know them yet. Not also forgetting Darren who recently left to move to pastures new following a re-direction in his career. All the staff are really great, do a superb job and do very well in their roles. The atmosphere in the restaurant is really nice, with a homely setting and comfortable feeling about it. As for the food .... just Wonderful!. Always nice, hot, consistent and plentiful and competitively priced. Whilst ever this restaurant is here, and I hope business circumstances NEVER change that, we will ALWAYS be a regular and dedicated customers. I've said my bit ... I fully recommend you find out for yourselves. Jason & partner.

We eat here regularly and have done for years. You get Great food at a reasonable price. In a pleasant welcoming environment. Plus a bonus points card, which will give you points free food and or drink. What more do you want. We rarely if ever go anywhere else to eat. We hy would we❓

The worst carvery and place I think I've ever been. There was kids running all over and food all over the floor and when I looked round there was 3 staff stood talking and one got another in an headlock! Dirty and rubbish and I'll never go back again 💯

It was quite busy when we visited, there was only one member of staff taking food orders but he couldn't apologise enough for the wait and was very courteous. Definitely a family friendly pub with plenty for young children (Inc a playground).

First time visiting today, and it was clearly a popular place, lots of tables reserved, and those that weren't taken. Luckily managed to find a spot. Service was great, and the food still came put quickly and was lovely. Friendly and helpful staff also.

So recently visited here after all the good reviews, I feel the pub has a nice atmosphere being family orientated, but could do with a small refurb as it's looking tired in some parts. The food was OK and the price was good also.

I went for meal with my wife the other night, the food was lovely, good value for money. However, the BFG behind the bar, the tall fella taking the orders was obnoxious, very loud and just wanted to be centre of attention. It was hard to enjoy a nice meal when hearing him talk about nonsense, it wasn’t even work related.

Don't have the lasagne as it was so hot it was still bubbling from the microwave, the waiter did not say watch out its hot, so guess what I burnt my mouth.

Nice locale and a good range of pub food. Recently, I went for a carvery, which I found to have a pretty good selection of some very tasty food. It was just over £11 but I felt that that quality and choice made it worth it.

Impromptu meet up with friends. Nice atmosphere and well spaced out tables allowing for conversation. Food freshly made to order hence a little wait due to being busy. Staff all very courteous and pleasant. Will definitely return.

Went out on monday (25th) to celebrate my sisters 25th Birthday. There was a big group of us 12 (9 adults and 3 children) Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Staff were amazing with the children. Lovely place will definetly be back! Thank you so much for a lovely eve.

Brilliant place, first time here for us but it certainly won't be the last, the food was lovely and arrived just as ordered, lovely and hot and at a great price.

Two starters, two main courses, two desserts, unlimited soft drinks for one, unlimited hot drinks for one. And still had change from £35 - very pleased.

Food always good service great , even helped push my car to get it started when starter motor failed whilst in their car park , cheers guys 😀
