Melt in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

An absolutely fantastic spot overlooking Treyarnon Bay. Wether it is for a morning coffee to take away for a stroll on the beach, or as a pitstop during a long walk, I cannot recommend Melt enough. Highlights: Any of the toasties!

My family and I love visiting Paula, she’s always very accommodating with my children’s requests and she even has doggy ice creams for your four legged friends!! I have spent a lot of money with this business over the years, (recently changed ownership) mainly in the summer months when on holiday with family and friends, However unfortunately after a rude encounter this morning (9th May 2025) with either the owner or employee I will not be spending another penny of my money with them. It’s surprising that someone behind a counter can be so pleasant when wanting you to spend money can be so rude and sarcastic when not serving customers. Not sure exactly when ownership changed hands (approx 2021) so reviews not accurate before then on the new owner.

Nice service, tasty ice cream, good coffee

What a little gem this place is. Can't believe you can get coffee this good from a shack on a cliff. Staff always super friendly, why wouldn't they be working here with this view everyday. I've creams to die for, sourced locally. The cinnamon buns are delicious too. Give it a whirl, you won't be disappointed. 5 🌟's from me

Excellent coffee's, served in real mugs. Tasty melted sandwiches, very nice baked goods and pretty good milk shakes. Beautiful views about 4 picnic tables to sit and enjoy. Great service and reasonable prices. Pretty popular.

Really friendly (and patient!) staff, excellent coffee, cakes, ice cream, etc. The constant queue says it all - brilliant little setup, long may it continue 👍

If you've not popped to Melt in Treyarnon Bay...why not? Paula is lovey and friendly, her food, milkshakes and hot chocolates are just amazing and I bought a mug to take home. And the view is just fantastic too.

We went today for toastie, crab sandwich and coffee! Amazing, wish I lived round the corner. Food was delicious, coffee was perfect and the views - incredible. A gorgeous place X

Seriously, this place is fab. Unrivalled views across beautiful Treyarnon Bay, delicious coffee and the best ice cream in the area. They’ve added loads of new seating this season, so there’s even more places to perch. Had an amazing homemade soup with foraged wild garlic and a ridiculously good cheese toastie, just the fuel you need when tackling the coast path!!

We had coffee (amazing flat whites) and ice creams (sooooo good!). Wish we'd not already had lunch as the toasties looked and smelled amazing! The service was outstanding, really lovely people running this little gem - above and beyond to make my little girl happy with her ice cream. Highly recommend, yum!

A little shed on the top of the hill overlooking the beach- stunning! Both staff members were delightful and very nice to us 😊 Would highly recommend this place for a bite to eat at lunch.

Best toasted sandwich EVER , Da Bara bread and delicious chutney and cheese. Make this your stop if you are passing this way. Will be back again soon

Open april-september, fabulous flat white and absolutely delicious cake - brownie and fruitcake in particular! Incredible views (and a couple of picnic benches to enjoy it) directly on the SW coast path overlooking treyarnon bay, and just a few steps down to the beach. Visited twice so far this holiday and sure we can get in a third!

Thank you for having Ice Cream in cones!! We were on the hunt all day and were SO happy to find it, and it was great! Also it’s in a great location with incredible views!

This is an absolute gem! The ice creams (from Treleavens) are incredible and generously served in a delicious waffle cone. They have a great range of flavours, sauces and toppings, as well as smoothies and hot drinks to choose from. Coffee was lovely too. Our dog couldn't get enough of the doggy ice cream. Happy days
