I called in just before Christmas in search of some Turkish Delight. Yes they did have some but at a price that was a tad on the expensive side. When I said that it a bit steep, I was offered it at a good discount as "it is Christmas Eve". The quality was excellent and I will make a point of revisiting this place when I'm next in Melbourne

Love calling in here, some smashing local produce available. Great little shop, fantastic service by friendly staff, full of great knowledge about the produce on offer. A bit more than you would pay in your usual shop, but worth the extra for something a little bit different. Something in here to tantalize everyone's taste buds...Highlight is the cheese on offer, delicious.

This is a quality deli, meats, pies, cheese, bread, chocolates and lots more to choose from and as it is quality you pay a little more, but it is well worth it.

The guy who runs this place is such a hard worker with an eye for quality - I have no idea where he gets his energy from .. but I'll have a pint of what he is on!An excellent selection of artisan meats, cheese, pies and chocolates. You can take freshly prepared sandwiches/baguettes away and he serves tea and coffee to take out too - he did have a two-seat table in the shop but I don't think that is there any more. Was open 7 days a week from early until late but I think he may have worked out what his optimum opening times are and may have fallen in with those - but I might be wrong. Plenty of off-street parking further up in the village but none around the shop which I think has been its downfall in the past - but he has a regular patronage now so that doesn't matter so much and of course, regular customers means fresh produce! What is not to like?

Fantastic owners and very knowledgeable! Great cheese selection (not cheap) but rare and stuff you will not find in Waitrose etc. It’s a Aladdin’s cave of food delights, great bread from Hambleton’s Recommend !!!

This Deli caught our eye instantly as it is so pretty and inviting from the outside. we decided to pay it a visit whilst we were on holiday in the area. it is a small shop with a lot of stock. It features a variety of cured meats, scotch eggs, cheeses, veg, bread, chutneys etc. We enjoyed some lovely sour dough bread and a delicious scotch egg. It is well worth a visit.

Shop is quite small but has an extensive stock of out of the ordinary foods including chutneys and dressings. We found suitable purchases and will definitely be visiting again. Well worth the short journey from Derby, would recommend visitors use the free car park behind Victoria Mews as main street (Derby Road) is very narrow and on our visit very congested. Visitors will find plenty of other things do in and around Melbourne, e.g. Staunton Harold , Calke Park, Melbourne Hall and lots of places to eat.

This is really now called Bumblebees! I brought a couple of friends here for coffee this morning and had a wonderful time. We were struck by the warm and friendly welcome and the freshly decorated surroundings. Nice menu, everything freshly prepared and reasonably priced. My pumpkin spiced latte was delicious. We will be back for more!
