Just ordered on just eat, they declined the order 😫....recently ordered for delivery and got a phone call asking me to collect....as it happens i could but that wasn’t what I wanted.

I asked the assistant if the fish was cod, she said yes. Ordered 3 fish with chips and waited. Nicely cooked and well presented but it was NOT COD. Just white fish, that didn’t taste very nice. Chips were okay. I won’t be returning.

I am literally begging you not to order from this place. The food was unbelievably tragic, the duck was covered in a soggy jelly-like coating that made my brother gag. I don’t usually write reviews but I am going out of my way to do so because it was so vile. The lady on the phone refused to reimburse us when we called, and insisted the food was good. It was....... not

4 of us went to get food from here. Chicken fried rice and Special omelette. Came to £30 for all of us. The food was terrible and arrived 20 minutes late. Stay away!

AVOID Awful place for customer service! Had food delivered from here a couple of months ago and paid in full on delivery - quite a wait but food average, went to order tonight and they have said our address is blacklisted for delivery - wouldn’t give any explanation even when I asked to speak to the manager just refused to take an order. Very rude staff and aggressive for no apparent reason and quite frankly not worth the battle! Silver river and Hungry’s much nicer and staff/delivery drivers all lovely, will not be returning and will recommend friends not to either

Worst food I've ever had, order was completely wrong, rung up complained and a small child redelivered it but the food was awful, lukewarm, tasteless bland just awful, amateurish fast food and I'll never use again and would heartily recommend if you like your food warm, what you actually ordered and tasty then dont use this place, If I could zero stars I would, disgusting!

Okay so the food we ordered was piping hot, however despite leaving delivery instructions on the receipt, when I opened the door to the delivery driver he yelled at me shouting he had got lost. I explained I left instructions on the receipt and he said I know how to read English, hollered something under his breath and walked away. I was absolutely livid this person had the audacity to be abusive in that fashion. My phone had ran out of battery as I explained to him and still he chose to be rude. Unfortunately when we opened our food up, despite being hot it was as if he had deliberately tipped the cartons upside down so it was all over the wrapping and had leaked, just such a mess we ended up binning the food. Overall usually the food is great from you and I am normally satisfied, however I will never be ordering again with you because of this mans rude and aggressive behaviour. Not something you expect when you open the front door.

Enjoy the home made chop suey roles here! Chen makes them lovely. Meals are very good along with the rib combo and crispy lamb pancakes!!

Worst takeaway I’ve ever had. The ribs were completely burnt, the meat was dry, chicken an sweet corn soup had like 2 pieces of chicken in. Straight in the bin, steer clear. Would rather starve.

Food was gorgeous as usual, driver was friendly and because there was only me eating I had enough for work the next day, it tasted just as nice. Will definitely order again

Rang mei kam when it was due to be here... didn't turn up for 30 mins after that. Chips, sausage & curry sauce were all cold... fried rice was luke warm & the large bottle of coke was warmer than the entire meal! Customer service in relation to my complaint was awful & I was told to phone just eat, which is now a premium phone number, charging me another £6+. Wont be ordering from here again, which is a shame, as when I've walked in & ordered, foods usually lovely

20 mins late, resulting in luke warm food. Chips where pretty much cold and tasteless. Rang shop to ask where my order was and was told they have left. As I live a 5 min drive away I'm bemused as to why it took another 20 mins to get to me. Waste of 25quid

Thought we would get a nice takeaway on our way home with the kids, OMG the food was horrendous, chips tasted of just oil the special fried rice just tasted weird and to be honest had a bit of a smell to it, the only thing we managed to eat were the prawn crackers. Waste of money and I ended up cooking ☹️

Delivery time was an hour and 20 minutes and then took an extra half hour to come even after us phoning the restraunt twice. First time ordering from this restraunt and it will be the last

Ordered at 7:31pm on behalf of my father, delivery driver rang my parter to say they were lost at 8:15pm (even though she was on his road, she had to drive 2 more mins around a corner) he passed them my number to call for directions and they didn’t call, I had to call restaurant. Father phones me at 9pm to say still no food?! rang restaurant to receive a couldn’t care less attitude, delivery driver kept hanging up on my partner. food arrived at 9:45 stone cold! Will not be ordering again!

Chicken Chow Mein was disgusting. The chicken is processed and under cooked. Threw the food away, will never use again.

when placing the order delivery time was 40-60 mins actually took 1.30 hrs. When order arrived one item was missing phoned and they delivered the missing item. When we opened the rest of the order we were sent the wrong thing. Phoned back to complain and they put the phone down. Food was actually good but service was disgraceful.

They always deliver early. The staff are great including drivers. Always look forward to treat night from these guys

The review doesnt' relate to this order- although i wasn't overly impressed on this order i decided not to leave a review putting it down to a one off. I gave the takeaway another try as ome of the reviews seemed ok...swecond chances and all that. For some reason the order hadn't reached the takeaway - fair enough these things happen however the attitude of the staff is disgusting. i arrived, and outside were two deivery drivers loading boxes of food into a car saying "two boxes for one order is she taking the p*ss" now whether this was in regards to a customer or the boss, it's incrediby unprofessional. i went inside and was told 'no order'. i figured i would just order again, but they kept repeating 'no order' to me, didn't even offer to take the order (which would have been fine) or allow me opportunity to order. i said ok i will leave you a review to which i got "fine go on then" i got the feeling they do not care about their customers or ev en have respect for their colleagues. i nwould rather spend my money elsewhere that appreciates their customers in future.

The stated delivery time was 6.05pm but it hasn't arrived by 6.20pm so I called them. I was told that the delivery had already been made but obviously to the wrong house in the wrong road. I was told that a fresh order would be made and delivered within 30 mins. Approximately 1 hour later I received a call today that the restaurant owner had cancelled the order and no longer wanted to make the delivery. Appalling! We bad children and visitors here waiting for food for over 2 hours which never arrived!!! I expect a refund and of it didn't arrive within 24 hours, not only will it look bad on the restaurant but it would also look bad on Just Eat. Seriously not impressed!!!

Use this restaurant regularly. The food is lovely but tonight I’m disappointed at the service received. To have a main part of your meal missing and then it take an hour from calling up to arrive at the door is not really great. Not had issues before but as a good customer I’d expect better service :(

I did get wrong food. My order was duck with cashew nuts but I did get something with chicken, beef, shrimp and no cashew nuts at all.

Not great food. portions small nuggets burnt on 1 side and only half tray .. savoury cake is just smash deep fried awful flavour. Delivery driver nice was quick delivery food was hot just not nice to eat and not value for money at all. Will stick to usual Chinese better portions better quality and cheaper so much better value for money shame they closed for renovation (new oriental) won't try mei kam again tried another time tonight after bad meal few months ago but seems worse not better 😞

First time I ordered and I will not order again. The only thing about this meal that was nice was the spring rolls.. I had chicken in blackbean sauce with not one blackbean in sight.. bland,chicken seemed like it had been frozen for too long previously, the sauce was like black water. Really dreadful. Also the chicken and sweetcorn soup had barely any chicken in.
