second time food has been very late, last time I order from this restaurant

Amazing food every time, full of flavour and good portion size. I was shocked to find a big chunk of ginger in the Lamb Bhuna, it did not matter to me, it just shows they use fresh ingredients instead of jar mince garlic/ginger, Highly recommended.

Pedí una comida para llevar esta noche en parte porque ofrecían un descuento del 15% para enero que se extendió para este fin de semana. Llamé y mencioné el descuento y me aseguraron al principio de la conversación que se aplicaría. Pedí 2 currys, arroz, un vegetal + 2 poppadoms y me dijeron que era £ 29. 15 . Pregunté de nuevo si eso era después del descuento y me aseguraron que lo era. La entrega fue muy lenta, aunque me han advertido que sería una hora. De hecho fueron casi 90 minutos, pero dejémoslo pasar. La comida es muy buena, pero al comprobar los precios después y sumar los artículos llegó precisamente a 2915 - en otras palabras, no se había ofrecido ningún descuento. El descuento habría sido de más de £ 4. Para decirlo sin rodeos me habían mentido por teléfono. Sin duda la comida era buena y valía la pena lo que pagué por ella, pero es deshonesto asegurarme que el descuento se había aplicado cuando claramente no lo había hecho.

Not great at all Very cold inside, had to wait a good half hour for the heating to come on and still then it's freezing Asked twice for tap water and took ages to bring it Food isn't cooked by authentic Indians, most definitely they are Bangladeshies. Some food is nice, some isn't Beer glasses dont look clean. Avoid at all costs

We ordered a delivery from Meghna and was told it would be 1 hour.They called back after 45 minutes to say food would be with us in 10-15 minutes.After another 30 minutes we made 2 calls back to them asking where our food was?It finally turned up nearly 2 hours after originally placing the order only to find that there was 1 dish missing!!! Called them back to tell them and they said they could get the missing dish out but it would be 25 minutes. Poor service and food wasn’t great. Will not be ordering from them again. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Ordered from Uber eats has pre ordered before the restaurant had opened , firstly the lid was not shut properly so sauce had leaked all over the bag splitting it. The curry it’s self was watery, Bombay potatos and naan bread was nice

First time ordering from here. I am happy I did. The food was delicious & full of flavour, very rich & filling. Portion size are good as well. I got a couple of complimentary starters that I did not order, which was delicious as well. Thank you for the free starters. Biryani was excelled, vegetable curry that comes with the Biryani was amazing & full of Veg. (last Indian take away I ordered from only gives a couple of potatoes in their Veg curry). Lamb bhuna (delicious), starters delicious. A+++

ordered half a xhicken, got two legs very bonny, hardly any meat on them. Curry was nice.

Onion bhaji were huge so crispy outside but stodgy lump inside. All food was very mild with little spicing. The bhuna was particularly bland.

nothing delivery to my home yet I had been wait for over near 2 hours

Food turned up over an hour past the latest expected delivery time. And they offered no compensation or concessions just and apology.

Ordered food at 5.40pm……it finally arrived 7.55pm. Not even a pappadam to say sorry! Sadly will not be using The Meghna again.

I called the restaurant and was told that the driver had left and checking on the satnav he should have been 4 mins but he still took 15 minutes. The nan bread was not cooked properly, very doughy and sticky.

Food is terrible, did not eat it. Rice looked days old and like they saved up leftovers to recycle. Barely any meat in it, and lukewarm. Not going there anymore. Used to be really hot and fresh but now they don't care. Waste of money.

Shocking…should have been delivered at 19.10-19.30..complained. Then got told it would be 8pm. It’s 8.30pm an no food!! Just really poor service and no help when you calm them.

Probably the best tarka dhal in north London. Good prices. Good biriyanis. Good home delivery. I have been eating there for 20 years and it a safe bet for a good dinner.

A regular here, often bringing friends here to enjoy the dishes too. Started with poppadoms with all the accompliments, then with a trio of samosas, followed by chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, pilau rice and garlic chicken with spinach. Always tasty and delicious, only gripe was, the chicken pieces in the tikka masala had reduced in size significantly. (I had the exact dish a fortnight ago). Staff are always pleasant and respectful. Would definitely visit again. Take away available. No disabled toilets though.

We saw a film with an Indian theme so we had to have an Indian meal to follow. This restaurant was conveniently so close to the cinema. We received a warm welcome and quickly were enjoying superb toasted poppadoms. Afterwards our main course arrived which was very delicious. The lamb and chicken were very tasty and tender as was the Okra. The price was also very reasonable for the wonderful dining experience and great service. I cannot recommend enough and would suggest visiting this restaurant rather than having a home delivery as it will be a real treat for you all. Parking is never a problem in my experience.

Consistently delicious food, and very friendly staff. The chicken shooka is especially good. Very welcoming to small children too, though you might have to bring your own high chair or manage without.

It was my first order, the balti was delicious, lamb in Briyani tender could have had a bit more spice although that's just personal preference. Tasty food will order again.

The very worst Indian meal we’ve ever had. Dreadful. We don’t know what’s happened here. This place used to be great. It’s now awful. Stale poppadoms , stale onion bhajis, overcooked tasteless chicken and beef curries. We ate two mouthfuls and left with a “takeaway” which we placed straight into the bin. Never again. So sad that this has happened.

What a tasty meal, lamb was very tender and the garlic chili chicken was delicious. Definitely ordering from them next time I fancy a curry.

Very disappointing. We had to wait over an hour for delivery. When it arrived half the items were missing. We are still awaiting a refund for the missing items.

We’re lucky to have a great selection of Bangladeshi curry houses in Crouch End and Meghna is definitely one of them.

Having eaten at the restaurant a few times, we were expecting good quality food. The food was very average and having spent over £60, we are very disappointed. The food arrived 2 hours later than the order time. The chicken tikka dishes were like boiled chicken, the vegetable rice dishes were cold, with hardly any vegetables in them and the food in general seemed as though it was reheated from the night before. The peshwari naan breads had the smallest amount of coconut in them. Very disappointing!

This is a classic real Indian restaurant. I have been using its service for 20 years.
