Syl's Cafe in Haringey

The cafe is pet friendly, even a dog had a little snack and water! The owner is super friendly and the service was amazing. Coffee was delicious, loved the deco and the food!

A tiny café in a small shopping arcade. It's definitely a good place for a cuppa and a cake in a rather out of the way location. Very friendly service.

Popped in here in betwwen snooker sessions at Ally Pally. Amazing, tasty food and good coffee. Really friendly staff , genuine smiles. Recommended highly.

Excellent lunch with tasty bagels and pannis with signature use of pickle particularly tuna and mayo and pickle

We have gone to Syl's for elevenses. The "bagels" resemble a bagel only in being bread rings. The staff are pleasant and you don't feel hassled to go, but I wish there was something we actually wanted to eat there.

Me encanta ir a Home - ella es el propietario de negocios más amigable y toma orgullo en lo que tales. Todo el personal es muy amable y se nota en su trabajo, donde a menudo termino para almorzar con un amigo, o incluso tener una reunión o dos.La comida es de una calidad muy alta y en su mayoría recién hecho. La casa elabora sobresalen y lo recomiendo 100%.

Lovely little corner cafe with good view. Offers free wifi. Plenty of space in front, but unfortunately doesn't benefit from the sun.

Mi hija y yo vamos a cada semana única Syl; es nuestro pequeño capricho y nos encanta. Syl es la anfitriona más maravillosa, siempre muy amable y siempre encantados de ayudar y hacer que su estancia sea lo más agradable posible.

It's always a pleasure to enjoy a great slice of cake and a hot choc at Syl's. The owner is always welcoming and although small it is perfectly formed.

After walking around Alexander Palace park, this was a handy place to get a hot drink. Cakes and other snacks were on offer, they looked nice but all we wanted was a drink. When I say "Rustic Charm" I mean it in a positive way, the cafe is clean and the staff are very friendly.

Whereas Crouch End has more cafes than you can shake a stick at, too many, I'd say, this area, at the junction of Crouch End? Muswell Hill, has nothing much so this was a welcome addition 12-18 months ago. I had a good cappucino, not expensive. There now appears to be a small garden at the back. The eccentric furnishing isn't that comfortable, though, and the one decent table was taken by someone on a laptop (some cafes have now stopped their use at certain times as one person takes up a whole table). Good for Hungarian Syl to open this cafe and keep it going. Longer opening hours might be welcome.

Run by a Hungarian lady, Sylvia, this cafe is at the south west corner of Alexandra Palace Park. Very convenient for the weekly Famers Market and an eclectic mix of art and retro music shops in this parade.The coffee is good, small selection of cakes and things. Nice if you like small and cosy, not if you like large and modern.Free wifi and reasonable prices.
