Amazing food, service and value for money. Tempted into the restaurant by the aromas coming from there and the food did not disappoint. The waiters were efficient and friendly. The restaurant has a lovely ambience. Is worth booking a table in advance.

The food portions were very small. Food did not taste nice. Cups were not clean. Ceaser salad bread was stale. Meant to be Turkish originated but tasted nothing like it. Food was cold. Overall, very disappointed.

Average service from the waiters and waitresses, but unfortunately the food was absolutely terrible. Myself and my fiancé decided to dine there for dinner and I honestly wished I dined somewhere else. My fiancé had a vodka, lemon & mint cooler and I opted for the ginger bellini. My belling was served in what looked like a glass you would serve ice-cream in. First time I've had a bellini served in a ice-cream bowl/glass. They usually serve it in a champagne flute. We opted for the sharing Platter "Megan's Mezze Feast". I honestly feel that this Platter should be renamed as "Megan's Chilli Feast". Every single thing, except from the 4 slices of flatbread and small portion of fries was covered in red chilli. We could see the red chilli in everything we bit, with the chilli seeds to follow. My fiancé was sweating. When he asked the waiter what type of food it is, the waiter said its a mixture of Eastern Mediterranean and Turkish. The chef is Turkish. Having lived in Turkey a few years, I have never had Turkish food smothered in chilli like this platter was. Extremely off-putting and it almost felt as though I was in an Indian restaurant ordering a really hot curry. There is no need to put so much chilli into everything. Season up the food well with spices and herbs and you won't have to use the chilli like that. Couldn't taste nothing but chilli. Not to mention, the bill then came to £100+. Extremely disappointed and waste of money. Will not be returning and won't be recommending.

Amazing food choices centred on a Middle Eastern cuisine! Fresh ingredients and well-balanced use of spices in the veg and non-veg options. Even the cocktails, such as the piccante margaritas, were splendid! The servers were friendly without being too eager and the decor has the look and feel shared by the Megan’s chain, with charm and a bit of Bohemian intrigue. Not quite the same food choices as the Ivy Cafe next door, but serious competition for it! Richmond residents are lucky to have so many choices!

We dined in last night and I was really disappointed with our food! My partner and I shared a platter of a mixed varity and it was a very odd mixture. Very hard uneatable pastry around equally dry uneatable kofta. Very strange unappetising dry kofta on dangerous sword sticks which looked really disgusting. It was on a black platter and everything merged so was hard to see what you were actually eating. I've eaten before at other Megan's where the food wasn't to bad, but last night was very disappointing.

When we walked in we were met by the very friendly Aaron. He sat us at our table and was very knowledgeable of the menu. Cocktails were delicious and well guided by our server. Props to the young man Aaron who was a service superstar. We will be back!

Go have a drink here! Happy Hour is 3-6pm. Or sit & eat with chums & delight in the unique & delicious menu dishes. Gorgeous Boho Chic decor & a view of the charming Richmond neighborhood. Reservations recommended but not required. Amazing historic building!

Wow. Total scammers. Saw a sign outside advertising £6 happy hour and decided to pop in for a drink. Young man asked if he could help and I said I'd like a drink and could I please have the drinks menu. He stated the drinks menu was on the tables. I took a seat and had a look at the drinks menu - there was also a food menu but no other menus - then ordered a 'Bloody Megan (like a Bloody Mary but not as good). It was average at best. When I came to pay it came to pay I was charged £14.51! So they added a service charge for literally making and bringing me a drink.....which is their job!!! Nobody else in there, zero atmosphere. I asked the female who took payment about happy hour and she pulls an entirely different drinks menu out and says next time I need to ask for the happy hour menu. Seriously, there won't be a next time.

Went to lunch today with my friend and was served by the incredible Leakna. She was incredibly helpful with picking a menu item and catered to our every need. I loved my meal and the dessert was to die for. I will absolutely be coming back again in the future.

Fun brunch feast, bread was supper fluffy. Nice atmosphere. Service was robotic and overbearing, careful who you get as your waitress! Ours was Somnya and my god, stop pushing staff to upsell at every turn. Especially when we ordered the most expensive thing on the menu already.

Great food. Lovely atmosphere but a little too much up selling

It was a bad idea to come because the order was wrong. We were given tap water without glasses, and despite being told not to, we were given pickles. The halloumi cheese was also forgotten. Maybe I am very unfortunate today. Last but not least, the food was not very nice, and the fries were so expensive.

We go to Megan's for fresh juice (the green one) and pancakes. the last 2 times we have visited, we have been extremely disappointed with the juices. They are NOT fresh, despite what it says on the menu. Im sick of having to send them back as they're turning brown and taste like rotting salad. I make fresh juice a lot, and so can tell a bad one very quickly. Unfortunately, Megan's doesn't offer fresh juice, it's off and comes from a bottle. The price is still what you would pay for a fresh juice. That is extremely disappointing and we don't like being taken advantage of, in terms of paying for something that is not what it says it is!

Second time coming to the restaurant, had really great food and amazing service by Sophie, definitely would recommend the atmosphere is very tranquil

Awful, awful, awful. This place is filled with negative energy. Me and my husband visited on Sunday, the drinks awful and overpriced. The food was absolutely disgusting I wouldn’t even give it to a pig! The management is ridiculous with staff running around aimlessly. We also overheard one of the managers speaking to his staff In such a disgusting manner with such a cruel look on his face. This place needs to be shut down as all my friends who have visited told me the same.

Food was cold! I was starving and food came so late that I had to eat it so I can leave.

Came here yesterday lunch time for brunch. As you imagine it was busy, very busy. We ordered our coffees and food. Coffees turned up quickly - the dirty chai latte was lovely. However, it went down hill with the food. I appreciate that they were busy, but 25 minutes waiting for some pancakes, bacon, and sugar glazed banana.. and some hot flat bread. Not sure about that. Anyway, everything that was supposed to be hot, food wise, was pretty much ice cold. Sadly I couldn’t enjoy my chai latte with it because the time the food arrived it was less than luke warm. I did mention all of this after I took my first bite of the food. They did offer to remake it, but given how busy it was I expected to be waiting at least 25 minutes again, so I declined. The manager must have understood my disappointment and that I was not prepared to pay for the food, as when the bill arrived all the food had been discounted. Bill should have been around £35 but was £11 instead. Appreciate the gesture, I would come back, but only when it’s not busy.

Got food poisoning along with 2 friends, an “investigation” was carried out after a second chat with manager .because the previous manager lost the details of my complaint! They said that it could be something else we all ate, however the only thing in common we ate was at Megan’s. No apology or so ever only trying to cover their backs.

I had a lovely birthday meal, the food was delicious and well presented. We received excellent service and the ambiance was great. I would recommend this restaurant.

Although haven't been numerous times to Megan's in Twickenham the on Ein Richmond was slightly disappointing. Especially the dirty fries with just a splash of cheese sauce and a tiny sprinkle of nduja. For £7.90 it wasn't worth the price at all. The brunch sharer luckily is portion wise sufficient for the price, however this time we did have a hair in the feta cheese. Not sure how it got there and mistakes happen but would expect a higher quality control.

A great value for what you get with the food and atmosphere. The skewers were perfectly seasoned. The highlight was the service - Jamie was wonderful and we could really tell that he loves what he does!

Lovely birthday lunch with my husband on Monday at Megan’s. The staff as always are kind, efficient and courteous. The food was lovely. Our lovely waitress Romina was efficient, professional and friendly with a lovely smile!

The best thing about this place is the staff. They are very kind and do their work really well. They make sure that you are catered to. They check on you regularly (even though we were sat in room that wasn’t in the main hall). The food is good too. For the price, I thought the open chicken was a good portion. It tasted good too, and I barely used the sauces to complement the flavour. My only nit is that the flatbreads are a bit too doughy/flavourless. Would be better to make them in a tandoor, but I understand that this requires a bigger expense. Perhaps serving with a different style of flatbread, one with more char, would be better?

Very good meal, generous and of good quality. The waitress was very pleasant and efficient. My only regret is that we asked for 2 portions of mezze quoted at £22.90/person and were actually brought and charged for 4 mezze, bringing the total bill to almost £160 including 2 starters and 5 drinks. The menu and the waitress were misleading, which is a shame, because it would have been a perfect meal without the surprise of the bill. The mezze are very generous, a platter for 3 good eaters or 4 normal eaters being quite sufficient. We had more than a third of the mezze left. I don't know if the waiters' mission is to increase the bills, but this is the first time in London that I have encountered this lack of advice and transparency when ordering. We were offered extra bread with the falafels, while the mezze arrived with a large quantity of bread that we couldn't even eat. In this regard, despite the taste I have for the place and the cuisine, I don't know if I will try a second visit.

Stellar service provided by the team here & the food was absolutely immaculate. Definitely the best Megan’s in London. Management were also amazing and extremely hospitable to my requests.

Went here for lunch with a friend over the weekend. We ordered a main and a desert each. Both courses took ages to arrive. We asked for water twice that never arrived. I also witnessed the manager on duty belittling and talking down to her team on several occasions. When we ordered the bill, we had to ask several times if we could pay.

Had a lovely experience in Megans Richmond for a Sunday Brunch. My waitress Janhavi was amazing and attentive and made sure my experience was the best it could be. I cant wait to come back again with my friends and im sure ill be served just as well by any one else. Thanks!

I came on a Sunday with two friends. They took 30 mins for someone to come to take our order. We were quite hungry at this point. We asked the waitor about the sharing plate for x2, first if he can make it for x3. He said no, he suggests we get this and another main to share. We told him that two of us don’t eat beef and asked which parts of the platter contain beef. He said the burger and this other meat. We asked if we can replace the beef with anything else, he said no. As there was only 2 things containing beef, there was still chicken and lamb kofta on the platter so we ordered that and another main to share. We ordered falafel hummus as a starter and brownie for dessert too, and tap water. We told the waitor to bring whatever is ready first. 40 minutes had gone after our order was placed and we didn’t even receive the tap water, or starter. No one was coming near our table and it was hard to call anyone. We eventually stopped a waitress to get us tap water. After some time we stopped her again to ask her about our started. She asked if we asked for the food altogether, we said no we said whatever was ready first. She brought the extra main we ordered. Shortly after, the platter arrived. I wanted to double check what parts have beef so I asked the waitress, she said the two meats and also there’s beef in the lamb kofta. We were shocked as we were not told there’s beef in the lamb, and we only ordered the platter as there were a few non beef options. We told her this and she called the manager. The manager came with a lot of attitude and was arguing with us saying we’re wrong and the waitor did tell us about the lamb. We heard what the waitor said and he definitely did not mention the lamb. So we said this was not true and she kept arguing saying we were wrong. After back and forth arguing, she started talking about halal meat. I’m not sure if she understands that Hindus not being able to have beef and Muslims only having halal meat are two different things. I’m not sure why she kept mentioning halal, it had nothing to do with us. We never asked if it was halal. She said eventually, she will have to take the lamb kofta away and swap it for some halal lamb. We asked if it contained beef and she said no. The starter came and she brought a small plate of shredded lamb. She didn’t eventually take the lamb kofta away like she said she would. The food was very average and wasn’t great. It tasted a bit funny. Everything was tasting weird even the falafel and hummus. The flavours were not right. We were so hungry that we just ate it at that point. They brought our brownie and that was the only thing that actually tasted okay. It definitely was not worth £75 for all of that, when i eat out and i’m paying all of that, I expect the food to be tasty and the service to be good. Was disappointed and won’t be coming again.

I visited the Megan's (Richmond) last Saturday and truly enjoyed the experience. The servers were fast and attentive, and the food was really delicious and worth the price. I would recommend people visit this branch.
