Called in with the wife and had a regular latte, flat white and a carrot cake between us. All very nice but I’m sorry £12.25 is a bit steep!

I popped in for the first time this week. So glad l did. I have gone vegan for Veganuary so could not have picked a better place to dine out. They have Chai late and one of my favourite dishes

The service, the food, the cleanliness were all spot on. I really can’t fault the menu, there was so much to choose from. The bit that really annoyed me was being charged £4.80 for a glass of milk. I could have bought 12 pints in Onestop at the end of the road for less than I did for one glass. I totally get establishments need to make a profit but not to the extent of ripping people off.

We had a couple of light lunches here during our few days in Tewkesbury, and would go back any time. Excellent coffee, delicious Cypriot sandwiches as well as more regular sandwiches, wraps, etc, cakes, icecreams, all setved with a smile in airy spacious café.

Clean, and well laid out café ... ... has a relaxed atmosphere, staff seem to be attentive and professional, food and coffee of excellent quality. All what you could want for a lunchtime café.

Lunch with my wife, good service, nice tea, nice coffee, lovely club sandwich. My wife was facing the food prep. area and saw the chef/cook lick his fingers and then carry on cutting up a desert!!!!!!!! Will we be going back? Not on your life! Great shame because the sandwich was outstanding.

We stopped here for lunch, absolutely fabulous food. We are going to Cyprus in September so decided this would be a real taster before we go. Beautiful, authentic Cypriot food, including Bastourma, spicy Cypriot Sausage, Lountza, smoked ham and Loukanika, Cypriot sausage flavoured with wine, all beautiful combined with Feta, cucumber and Hallumi in seeded bread. Stunning. Will definitely be back. Waitress and waiter also really lovely and helpful.

Excellent food and service, dog friendly and great prices. Highly recommend. Spinach and feta pie made from scratch, worth the wait.

Enjoyed a Cappuccino & strawberry Smoothie – both drinks were excellent. Coffee shop had plenty of space with protective screens between tables. Staff were friendly and brought drinks to the table. Clean toilets. Would definitely return.

I’ve been here on many occasions. They have such a varied menu and I love to try all the different things each time. Cypriot sandwiches and breakfasts are my favourite. Generous portion sizes and good value fir money. As many items such as halloumi, spicy sausage, bacon comes from Cyprus this gives it the authenticity and you feel like you are abroad. My kids love the home made ice creams, crepes and milkshakes. On a hot summers day it’s always refreshing to have an iced tea, they have many flavours to choose from. Lastly the baklava and home made cakes and treats is always a nice treat to take home or to take with you when visiting friends. The service is great, it’s a nice & relaxing coffee shop which makes it different from the rest. Highly recommended.

We are visiting Tewkesbury as a family for a little staycation and on visiting the town for a walk about and to see the Abbey, we popped into Cafe Mer Med. We’ve had fairy questionable service where we are staying, and understand this may be due to the post Covid challenges faced in the hospitality industry however Cafe Mer Med has a standout team who are welcoming and full of knowledge. It was so wonderful to be looked after by Crystal who couldn’t have been more accommodating. The iced coffees, smoothies, lemon pie and sausage pastry were traditional and delicious and we had a lovely lunchtime visit. Thank you!

Stumbled upon this place whilst visiting Tewkesbury, from Cheltenham. Having been to Cyprus countless times over the years, was very pleased to see this place. We had lunch and it was lovely will be back soon.

Wow! I decided on a cold and windy day like today to order my lunch in from mer med and what can I say? It was phenomenal. The sandwich I ordered was the roast pork, and each bite was full of flavour and it was so lovely. I also had a pumpkin spice latte to go with it which tasted exactly like Starbucks!! Coffee mer med is definitely my favourite cafe in Tewkesbury ☺️ If anyone is reluctant to try this cafe out, please take a look at their Facebook page where they have 5 stars and plenty of praise from our local community!!

There are so many good things I want to say about this cafe as the waiting staff are absolutely superb, and so friendly! I ordered a crepe which was stone cold and very chewy - I’m guessing Pre-made and reheated - which wouldn’t have been so bad if it hadn’t cost £7.50! I didn’t complain as the staff were excellent and very busy. I will try it again and keep my fingers crossed the food is of better quality!

Food was exactly as expected. Very fresh and cooked to perfection. Premises are spotless and welcoming, as are staff. In these trying Covid times, we felt very safe and welcome.
