A cosy place with delicious food. The only problem for me was that I couldn't finish my food because the portions are too big.

i visited mediterinan restaurant in weekend saturday with my friend. they welcomed us very well as i reserved before hand my table was ready waiting for me. the food and prices very very affordable also the service was really good. if you ever visited the swansea i definitely recommend you to try this turkish cuisine.

The best dining experience in SW Wales. The menu is sublime, the food is outstandingly fresh and prepared. The price is very competitive. For the same price as two burgers and chips you can have a lovely two course dinner for two.

Had a decent time with my wife and 2.9 year old on holiday in Mumbles. We went for diner at 6:30. Nice to see the food cooked in front of us. Authentic Turkish dishes with the tenderest meat you’ve ever tasted. Large selection of dishes to choose from and most have salad sides, rice, and flatbread included. No kids menu but we shared our generous mains with our child. Took away the leftovers in the end and they were tasty for lunch the day after x

Ordered a platter, which was meant for 2 people, but was just about enough for one perosn, hardly any meat but was full of grated carrot and grated cabbage. The meat was tasty though. Just did soft drinks no non alcoholic mocktails or milkshakes. No kids menus or chips.

I had an incredibly delightful experience at the Turkish restaurant. The authentic ambiance, mouthwatering dishes like perfectly grilled kebabs and flavorful mezze, along with the attentive and passionate staff, made it an unforgettable dining experience that truly transported me to the heart of Turkey.

This is a diamond of a place! The food is superb. We went on a Saturday night and the place was packed, also they were serving a large number of takeaway customers, some of which were eating on the sea front enjoying the view. Despite this the service was really welcoming and attentive. Yes we were close to other tables but it was a nice friendly feel. We shared a whole grilled sea bass and spicy chicken kebab which was good quality meat served with a variety of fresh salads and rice and a tasty yoghurt cacik. Really authentic and fresh Turkish food with a variety of choice and reasonable prices. The street outside looks a little run down but don’t be put off!

We booked here and when we looked in it seems dark and unappealing but don't be put off. As soon as we went in we were made to feel welcome and the atmosphere was buzzy yet relaxed. Our food was delicious- freshly cooked and generous portions. My chicken dish was tender and flavoursome- Turkish salad was delicious too. The waitress was delightful and attentive. Good value - we would definitely go again.

I love this place! I recommend booking as it can get quite busy. The best Mediterranean food in swansea easily. You get to see them cooking your food aswell which adds that great atmosphere to it, staff are friendly and food is served at a reasonable price!!!

A wonderful evening. There were four of us. The staff were friendly and attentive. The menu was great and my wife, a vegetarian, had a lot of choice. Drinks were great . Each course was a delight. I had triple kish which was spectacular. The desserts were wonderful. The toilets were good, always a positive. The meal for four with drinks was less than £35?each which I thought was great value. Definitely worth another visit next time we are down in Swansea

Called in without a reservation & luckily got a table straight away. Friendly service, amazing food & lovely atmosphere. The rosé was great too! Highly recommended. Will be back for sure 5⭐

Amazing. Beautiful food and excellent service

Fantastic food but bit expensive. The lentil soup was delicious as were the kebabs and mushroom dish, although the veg kebab was a lot of vegetables baked in a tray with tomato sauce. It was nice but different. My daughter enjoyed her lamb kebabs. The salads were very nice. The food was sumptuous. All in all a good experience but came to about £30 per head without wine which is a bit on the higher side. But we had the place all to ourselves and the food was freshly cooked not something come out of a freezer

🇹🇷🍴🍢Some of the lads from Grub Talks visited the Mediterranean in mumbles on a Thursday night and it was great. The venue and menu style is a little "posher" than previous venus and the locations adds a few quid to the damage but plates were cleared, problems shared with encouragement and laughs on point! The Minced lamb seemed a favourite, no chips in site 😅 but a very colourful pallet of healthy stuff alongside the meats. Flavours filled the venue as the main kitchen is based in the middle of the main floor and the chefs are cooking away. Parking locally all around and pubs or a prom near to finished the evening 👍🏼 Really important as Men to create spaces to feel listened too, moments to be challenged and friendships that enable. Loved this place, the service was amazing, very friendly, helpful staff/owner. Food was great, we had the mixed platter, which had a little bit of almost everything, great way to taste all the different dishes

Awful! Reserved a table, got a table near the microwaves. Starters either frozen (stuffed vineleaves), or microwaved frozen prawns without seasoning. Fresh lamb chops griddled to death without seasoning. Their idea of Mediterranean salad is grated carrots and red cabbage. When asked if the still filled plates were to our satisfaction we made the mistake of letting them know it wasn't. Rude manager-owner that serves poor food that has as much in common with the Mediterranean as an Eskimo. Avoid !

Reaaaaally good. If you like middle-eastern/med food, this is the place for you. A little on the pricey side, but meals are substantial and taste so good. It’s worth it!

I've been eating at this wonderful restaurant since it opened. It serves the best food in Mumbles and surpasses almost all restaurants I've eaten in, its fantastic

We had booked at 7.30. They didn’t seem to have registered our booking. We were led upstairs to a very noisy cool bustling room. When we arrived a light bulb was flickering which was upsetting as I am susceptible to migraines. The manager quickly resolved the issue. I chose red lentil soup which was delicious. The main course I chose was not to my taste. The barbecued kebabs had been marinated in bbq sauce but when served with rice, grated carrot and cold red cabbage was very dry. There was no sauce to mop up the rice. My husband chose a hot prawn dish served on a bed of onions and peppers in tinfoil. It was watery and tasteless. His main course was equally disappointing. Minced lamb pressed into a long strip. Lots of processed meat which when served without a sauce was very dry. It was difficult to choose from a menu that wasn’t very explicit. Sorry this was a costly bad experience! £53!!

A lovely experience all round this evening. Decided to try this place after receiving recommendations from family. Not disappointed at all. Watching food being grilled to perfection on the charcoal grill in front of us was very interesting. We chose the two course sample meal, and were treated to a selection of cold and hot starters and a huge platter of grilled meats and rice, along with salad. We rounded the meal off with a portion of Baclava to share and felt that all the food had been top quality. The restaurant got very busy towards the end of our meal, and we did have to wait a little while whilst our server looked after a large party upstairs, but we received a sincere thanks for our patience and left full and relaxed. It was a chilly evening and every time the door opened we were glad to be sitting right next to the grill.

Food Very poor and over priced not great service at all. We were eating with are winter coats on that's how cold upstairs was. So I'm not going back there again.

This restaurant offers great service and fantastic food. The menu is very extensive and I’m sure everyone can find something they want. As a vegan I had a choice from many different options and everything I tried there was absolutely delicious. I’ve been there twice and will be visiting many more times again. This place is highly recommended.

Interesting to find a very good Turkish restaurant in the gower. The food was fantastic and every bit as good as I have eaten in Turkey and the price was reasonable. No wonder the place was full on a September Sunday evening.

We decided to have the last dinner of our vacations here, and sadly was a terrible experience from beginning to end. The food was ok but nothing extraordinary, the real problem was the service, though the waitress was nice, the manager's behavior has been deplorable since we arrived his behavior was rude, giving bad comments about us to the waitress cause we decided to share some dishes (he didn't care that we can listen to him). We waited for one hour to get our food, which only arrived when we told the waitress that some friends needed to depart for a four hours road trip. When we gave our feedback while paying, the manager said that one hour was nothing for fresh food and told us we were lucky to get a table at the restaurant. We were out of words with his answer and left the place very disappointed with the customer service.

Great selection of dishes, all of which were delicious. This was our second visit. We were offered recommendations for starters when we couldn't decide and we weren't disappointed. We'd been advised by the manager to leave room for baklava - we were too full the 1st time! The baklava rounded off a fabulous meal, but then it was topped by receiving a round of Turkish coffees with Turkish delight. Despite the large amount of food eaten, no one left feeling stuffed, so there must be some secret in the combination of Turkish food and drink! Great food, great atmosphere and service!

As vegetarians there weren't that many options for mains so we opted for a selection of starters/mezze. The owner/manager was very friendly and we had a chat about our trip to Turkey. The food was very tasty, service was prompt and staff were friendly. The restaurant is quite pricey and they could offer more vegetarian main options.

Our sea bream was excellent, but the rest of the meal - rice, veggies, salad - rather tired. And the meze plate was pathetic - barely enough for one person, served to a table of four. Desserts were equally inadequate.

Ate at the restaurant for dinner on final day of holiday. Nice, cosy restaurant with attentive staff. We ordered various hot and cold mezze to share as starters all were nice but thought a little expensive for the portion sizes and the bread was on the dry side. Drinks came quickly and staff replenished tap water regularly. For mains my companions all enjoyed their meat kebabs and portion sizes were good. Unfortunatly I was disappointed with the vegetable/ halloumi kebab I ordered as I expected char grilled vegetables and large chuncks of halloumi. What arrived was a tomato/ veg stew with small diced halloumi scattered on top. Overall a pleasant experience and the staff are undoubtedly hard working.

We paid a visit to Mediterranean on my husbands birthday and really enjoyed our experience. The food was freshly cooked and plentiful. Service was attentive. We would return if we were in the area again.

Great location, absolutely stunning food, always good to have an open kitchen in the middle of the restaurant. Staff are really friendly with fantastic service. Restaurant was nice and busy but still had room for us as a walk in. Menu is comprehensive but not excessive, as it was my first visit the owner actually combined two dishes for me so I could try two dishes - very nice of him! Will definitely be visiting again and recommend you do too!

We had a great evening here. The lamb kebabs were delicious, cooked on an open fire in front of us. The accompanying salads were a little dull but the rice was good. Would certainly recommend.

Was here a couple of weeks ago. Having lived in Turkey for a few years I had expectations for the food based on experience. Without waxing on, the food...very good, service...very good, decor ..comfortable, and pleasant. Plenty of parking nearby. Will be returning.

Great email contact and friendly for the lady. However as soon as we walked in the waiter/manager was not at all welcoming. Especially considering the size of the party. We were a party of 13 i believe and spent £500. The service was no near as good previous occasions. The starter was excellent. The main course seemed small and a little lacking. Not much rice, we did get two small bowls when asked for more. However no condiments or extra dressing salads etc available to suit individuals tastes.

The meat served was dry and somewhat bland. It was accompanied with a very ordinary salad and no smile came with the service. I will not be returning or recommending this establishment.

A fabulous first time visit. The host was welcoming and took time to explain the dishes to us even though the restaurant was busy. The food is expertly cooked and coupled with the excellent service made this a meal to remember. We’ll definitely go back!
