Absolutely fantastic selection and baked goods.

I got my surprise bag from Medicine Bakery in Selfridge in Bullring in Birmingham through too good to go mobile application. I had 4 pastries in a grand size!! Cinnamon bun, Jal Brioche Donut, Almond Croissant and Pain Au Raisin. The Almond Croissant was opulent crafted to perfection with that finest chocolate inside it. It was a truly luxurious culinary escape. ---

We went here for lunch the weekend before Christmas and we didn't have to wait long for a table, which was great. There were 2 gluten free options on the main menu, and I picked Huevos Rancheros (swapping fried eggs for scrambled) with hash browns and romesco on the side and an iced matcha latte. I felt fine ordering until the person taking my order said "so coeliac, is it like serious?", which did not fill me with confidence and I just hoped the chefs were more clued up than the people taking orders. (I did not get unwell from eating here.) My food was good and I enjoyed my meal, however the hash brown and my partners food (mushroom and chimichuri grilled sourdough sandwich) were incredibly greasy. Service charge was automatically added to the bill, although the service was nothing to write home about and quite disappointing, especially as someone with coeliac.

Possibly had the worst coffee ever today (02/01/25). Ordered an extra hot flat white, my daughter had a decaf extra hot flat white and my wife a cappuccino. All of us found the coffee to be too milky and cold. I felt sick afterwards. The staff that served us were either exhausted or not interested. We had to ask for water 3 times from 3 different waiters. We have been there many times for food which had been really good quality but after today I don't think I will ever return. Terrible customer service.

I tried the English breakfast (called “The Medicine”), and it was a huge disappointment. It was way too salty and completely lacked any other flavor. Despite being labeled as “Szechuan sausage,” there was nothing remotely Szechuan about it. I can’t believe I finished it—I was too shy to speak up at the time, but honestly, it was awful. Never again 🙂‍↕️😭

Great food. But watch out for seriously sticky wooden tables, use the marble ones, no alioli and knives that don't cut and luxury hash brown that tastes like a packet of sage and onion stuffing.

I bought two breads takeaway. They are yummy.

In my opinion the medicine lounge is mid, I found that the service was up to standard, the staff were friendly and happy to help you with an enquiries. The breakfast was very disappointing, the hash brown had the texture of cardboard and strangely you were served with a side of greens which was overwhelmingly wet and sloppy. In conclusion if you would like a tasty pastry come to the Medicine bakery but if you want a nice traditional fry up go to a local Wetherspoons.

Listed on the menu is “The Medicine” breakfast. It’s quite honestly the worst version of a cooked breakfast I have ever had. Egg and toast (fine). But half a plateful of soggy kale? A Szechuan? Spiced sausage Pattie and a greasy house brick that they call a hash brown (inedible). I’m sure their croissants are fine but if you like a cooked breakfast this isn’t the place to find one. Sorry Medicine but you need to review your menu.

I had what looked like bits of fried egg floating in my breakfast tea. After taking it over to staff I wasn't offered anything to make up for it or even an apology with the replacement. Also the toilet situation is pretty crazy for the size of the place. Seems insane to have one tiny unisex toilet in a cramped stairwell for the amount of customers it seats.

We’ve visited a few times for breakfast and always had a great experience. Fast, friendly service with delicious food. Excellent quality at reasonable prices. Great atmosphere and diverse menu options.

I tried their Passion Fruit French Toast and Fried Chicken French Toast. The later have my heart. It was worth the price . The tangy hot sauce which came with it along with the honey lifted the taste of the toast & chicken to another level. Will defensively recommend. The ambience of the place is worth a mention, i felt like i was inside a green house.

Had a rubbish experience at their bakery counter. Left to wait for 10 mins...2 baristas chatting away and neither acknowledged me or tried to get anyone's attention. Finally went in search of someone to check it was open and server replied "why wouldn't it be" in quite a grouchy way and said they'd be there in 5. 8 months pregnant at the time so pretty keen just to get in and out. Bought a brownie and a latte. The brownie was so sweet and chalky I actually threw it away. The coffee was fine. There were also lots of flies landing on all the bakes as I waited as they were uncovered. Try not to leave bad reviews in general but had a few bad experiences at this branch now with rude staff and sub par food and it's not exactly cheap.

Jessica (new worker ) was truly so kind and so accommodating to us. She made sure to we were satisfied with everything. She made it truly a comfortable environment to be in!! She was accommodating for any dietary needs. She truly was lovely with her kind smile.

Very delicious cakes and croissants as well as good coffee. When too busy may get a while to be served.

Overall it is a good brunch place but idk why the staff was kinda rude to us…maybe he was having a bad day who knows but french toast on top

Waited an age to be seated even though we had booked. Drink ordering was quick and drinks arrived promptly. Food took quite a while to arrive but we were warned there was a delay. Cakes were really nice, top notch. Hot food unfortunately wasn't. Breakfast barm with cold burnt bacon, overcooked egg. Not particularly good, but edible. Would return for cakes not hot food.

Food is ok, seemingly good quality ingredients cooked to within an inch of there life, potatoes on the breakfast were undercooked and the herby tomatoes were watery, way too much greenery as a way to make up for the lack of the other food on the plate, drinks are nice but overpriced, the place is incredibly loud too it’s hard to understand how as it’s only people chatting but it’s almost deafening, I’ve been before and the food has been good but I’ll give it a miss for a while but will still be returning for the bakery which is good but bread goes out of stock too easily They add service charge too which in all honesty is a SCAM!!

Food was lovely but service a little slow, it was a Saturday lunchtime and fairly busy, we had to flag someone down to take our order once seated Food was nice but nobody checked to see if everything was ok with the order Had to go up to the till to pay as nobody came to ask if we wanted more drinks or for the bill It was busy when we first arrived but was quieter when we left, not sure if understaffed or busier due to the Christmas market starting that weekend and hadn't anticipated Got a donut on the way out and that was lovely

Amazing café! The best ever been to, the vibe is insane, I absolutely love the decor, just white with lots of plants and of course the photography exhibition. The food was even better, I had the vanilla brioche with passion fruit & greek yogurt and I just couldn't express how much I enjoyed it!!! Would definitely make the 3 hour trip to Birmingham just for this cafe!!

Authentic matcha latte (not the industrialised kind) and a good grilled cheese! The bacon and maple waffle is a must try as well. Super location with amazing sky light and efficient staff.

Nos sentamos en la sala de espera antes de ser mostrados a una mesa (a pesar de que hay un montón de mesas libres). Cuando estuvimos en nuestra mesa nos tomó siglos para que cualquiera viniera y tomara nuestra orden (a pesar de que un montón de personal se puso a charlar entre sí y también con otros empleados que estaban en su descanso) . Luego esperamos siglos a que llegara nuestra orden. Notamos un montón de moscas pululando por la habitación a pesar de que era finales de octubre. Uno de los miembros de nuestro grupo nos preguntó si nuestras bebidas habían sido iniciadas a lo que nos dijeron que "no". Como no teníamos mucho tiempo de sobra, decidimos irnos ya que estaba tomando mucho más tiempo de lo previsto. Cuando nos fuimos, ofrecí al personal una sonrisa amistosa solo para que uno de ellos declarara en voz alta "¡No puedes esperar una copa en 2 minutos cuando está ocupado!". No estaba ocupado. Apenas estaba un tercio lleno. Respondí que eran más o menos 15 minutos y que no incluía también cuánto tiempo teníamos que esperar para estar sentados y que nos tomaran la orden. El funcionario entonces agarró el recibo para mostrarme que en realidad eran 8 minutos (que creo que fue más largo pero no puedo probar ya que no miré). No sentimos que estuviéramos siendo irrazonables y ciertamente no fuimos groseros, pero sentimos que nos trataron mal. Alguien simplemente diciendo "estaré contigo enseguida" o ellos diciendo "estamos un poco ocupados para que el servicio sea un poco más largo" en el camino de entrada, habría recorrido un largo camino. Estar avergonzado por los miembros del personal cuando nos fuimos no fue lo suficientemente bueno. Al menos me alegra que el miembro del personal me eligiera para ventilar su ira en lugar del resto de mi familia. Fue una pena ya que la comida se veía bien y ya estábamos planeando un regreso para probar la comida. Sin embargo, ahora no regresaremos. Terminamos yendo a Pret A Manger justo al final de la carretera y nos trataron mucho más amablemente.

Medicine ....after my experience should be called frustration... the hall is beautiful bit cold and food was ok ...but what was bad is the cold face moody looking staff. I can spend anywhere but if you look like I disturbing you then I go else where spend my hard earned money.

Make sure to book! Otherwise you’ll have to wait long for a table to open up My friends and I loved the food here and the interior is really trendy - best part was the definitely the chocolate pistachio croissant tart I brought back with me (last one so it’s very popular!)

We had to get some breakfast in a rush and the staff were very accommodating when we said we told them this. The hardest part was choosing what to have, because everything looked excellent. We got coffee to go and the bill while we munched away on our pastries and were out and happy with time to spare. Our only regret is not having more time to try more pastries. We'll definitely be back.

Tuvimos que conseguir algo de desayuno en un apuro y el personal era muy servicial cuando dijimos que les dijimos esto. Lo más difícil fue elegir qué tener, porque todo se veía excelente. Nos dieron café para llevar y la cuenta mientras comíamos nuestros pasteles y estábamos fuera y contentos con el tiempo de sobra. Lo único que lamentamos es no tener más tiempo para probar más pasteles. Definitivamente volveremos.

BEWARE when you ask for the bill they just bring the payment machine, when I asked for a copy for my records, after paying the bill, I noticed that there had been a discretionary service charge added to the bill. As you are not given a copy of your bill you're unaware and therefore it is NOT a discretionary payment at all. Is this legal? ASK FOR A COPY OF YOUR BILL before paying. Service is slow so if you're in a rush don't bother Pastres are lovely

Situado dentro del Buzón, junto a Harvey Nichols. Bonita gama de pasteles, tartas, etc. La zona de estar es cómoda aunque un poco fría. El servicio estaba bien; no es bueno cuando el servidor también está hablando a través de un dispositivo walkitalkie! ¡No es un fanático del café en una taza de papel!

So many choices! I wanted to try everything on the bakery menu, and the coffee was great. The brunch menu, however, was just alright—pretty simple and common, nothing extraordinary. My first impression was mixed. What really stood out was the need for better customer and table management. I’ve never seen such inefficient table allocation. Despite several empty two-person tables, they directed us to a long table meant for eight people, which we had to share with others. Most concerning, though, was the feeling that the staff were not very welcoming toward Asian customers. It’s an impression that left me uncomfortable and disappointed. Finally, they also charged service fee. I realised after I paid it. HAHA.

We were excited to try, we got a dessert & some coffees as takeaway and wait by the coffee station as the female server suggested incase we didn’t find seating, after ordering there was plenty of seats so we sat down and I went to wait for our coffees. Male staff member asked why I was waiting there and to go sit down I said I was waiting for our takeaway coffees and he’s like it’s brought to your table, I explained what she told me and he just dismissed me like no it’s brought to your table. Then we sat down and he later came with a machine to pay and order and I said we already ordered as I told you before. And he just had the worst attitude and vibe ruined our experience. What a shame. Should be kinder to your customers I was nothing but nice to him and kindly explained why I was waiting there, said sorry to bother you and he rolled his eyes. Iced Coffee was nice, dessert was ok

Very good place for breakfast! Adequate prices to be in the heart of the city center. The food is very rich and tasty. The place is large although crowded and quite noisy.

Visited here on the off chance in the morning. Staff were really polite, helpful and attentive. It’s a gorgeous venue inside and really picturesque. Food was delicious. Cakes were delicious too. Highly recommend. 10/10

Visited this gem a few weeks ago when arranging a catch up as I used to come here quite often to grab one of their amazing cakes. Was lovely coming back and this time I had a dining in meal instead which was amazing. The staff were friendly and considering the place was packed the food arrived in great time. Recommend booking a table as we got seated promptly whereas there was a large group of people without a booking waiting at the door.

We tried Chicken French Toast, sounds a bit odd but what a sweet and spicy combination. Loved it, the staff is very polite too and even though we did not book a table and it was packed completely but we got a table in 15 mins 🫶

Was just a short Stop, but what WE SAW was friendly service with a smile and understanding that we bavarians (south of germany) are Not perfectly speaking english. Thank you.

Foods great. Often staff come off as too cool for school and wait times are horrendous. Popped in to pick up earlier. Stood at the top of the stairs for 5 mins whilst staff threw glances but didn't serve or acknowledge. When finally someone came out they said there is another wait for a drink so I walked out. Third time this has happened so despite food being good I'll happily skip for takeaway in future.

Lovely settings and friendly staff. Was not too keen on the dish I chose. There wasn’t much flavour and the greens were a little too soggy.

Ordered The Medicine, it was a good portion. The chorizo patty had a nice flavour, and all the components came together very well. The bacon and patty were a tad salty. However, the rest lacked salt, so it balanced out. Hashbrown was crispy, and sourdough bread was lovely. Found the tomatoes a bit pointless, with a lack of flavour. It was busy and the atmosphere was nice. Did take some time on service here and there, but nothing too bad. Overall, it was good and I would recommend it.

The food is really nice, can be quite busy during weekends, but the queue is alright. The place is quite big, was a nice experience.

Thanks to the Medicine team on Friday morning. At last minute the day before I booked a breakfast for 24 people at 8:30am just as the cafe opens. They accommodated us professionally and handled the large order really well. Everyone got exactly what they ordered and there were lots of ‘wows’ at the quality, which remained high even with the volume of work. Thank you for making our team breakfast so enjoyable.

Visited Medicine today as was really impressed on my first visit. Food was OK but there were alot of fruit flies & on visiting the upstairs toilet there were even more of them. The exterior toilet door & staff room door was filthy. It was our intention to buy cakes on the way out but was disgusted to see fruit flies on the Brownies and on moving it aside there were at least 5 feasting on it. I was horrified as I have previously purchased cakes from medicine but never again....the place needs fumigation!!

Such a cute breakfast spot. The passionfruit French toast was delicious and comes with a caramelized banana slice. Very sweet and perfect breakfast.

I had a work breakfast at 8.30am, arrived at the venue at 8.26am and was snapped at that they were not open and to go away. When I was finally seated, the order was wrong and there was no apology offered. Amongst the rudest service I have ever encountered anywhere. Given that the reputation and the food are both generally good, this was needlessly poor.

The french toast was not sweet, more of a tart flavour if that’s more what you’re looking for.

We had a booking for 11:45 but got there 15mins sooner, had to sit in the waiting area for a few minutes but we were directed to our table soon! Nice coffee shop with plenty of selections for food and pastries, for eat in or take out! We were severed by Sandra which she was a very lovely girl and helpful ❤️ This is my favourite place to cill!

Tucked away at the top of New Street (Victoria square end) through some imposing looking double doors (Medicine sign above) and up a flight of stairs you'll find this large open plan seated coffee shop/bakery. Loved all the vibrant & healthy looking plants that fill the space and photography adorning the walls on Black culture in Birmingham. Coffee was sublime, best we've had for some time.

Excellent latte .. so were the pastries ..wide variety of tempting pastries and cakes. Nice seating area.

Taste wise I think this was the worst place I had ever eaten at. The matcha served had a very bad taste, even had spices in it and it was not ever mentioned on the menu. It tasted a lot like the spices you would get in pumpkin spiced latte… I had asked if they added anything else and the waitress tried to tell me it is just the matcha powder and soy milk in it and nothing else added and proceeded to tell me that naturally matcha tastes like that… I’m no matcha expert but there’s in no way matcha is naturally spiced, and from the colour of it I can tell it is low grade matcha. They even proceeded to add vanilla syrup when I’ve asked them to just make it just as matcha with milk only but they did whatever they wanted anyways… perhaps to hide the spiced taste…? But I can taste it was only sugar since the sediments was still there… so it was not even mixed well… I never asked for it but they added it anyways. The food was dry although looked aesthetically pleasing. My bf said his dish was just salty and it was hard for us to finish our dishes. Atmosphere wise it’s well decorated but I would not ever dine there ever again for both the service and food. They never really checked back on us either and it was like hunting for Waldo just trying to pay as they just kept walking past us.

Lovely interior and building! Really tasty food overall! Drinks okay, expensive considering the size, but the food makes up for that. Felt quite cramped seeing as basically every table was taken and was massively noisy, seemed to be quite a few servers actually unlike other places! Took a while to get the drinks and then the food, and then worse took even longer to get the bill, would be simpler to go up and order, or to pay online surely… Didn’t notice a toilet, but given the building I don’t imagine would be massively accessible! Really great food options though for brunch!

We usually come here for the matcha cake loaf which I love but they ran out today so we shared a salt beef grilled sandwich and some donuts. I have to say the sandwich looked rushed and poorly assembled but probably because they served it in 5 minutes- I would’ve happily waited another five for something more appealing, bread was nice though. Donuts are just not for me, full of icing and quite hard.

I paid £8 for a Nutella blondie and a carrot and walnut cupcake and they were hands down some of the worst baked goods I have ever eaten. The blondie was solid with no Nutella in it. The carrot cake was so dry. The most overhyped bakery ever !!!

So, if you're looking for a dining experience with a side of wildlife education, Medicine Bakery might be your spot. Just remember to bring a magnifying glass and maybe a tiny net – you never know what you might catch! In all seriousness, whilst I appreciate their commitment to fresh ingredients, I think they missed the mark on making things right. Highly recommend if you are looking for a affordable yet fun breakfast meal! Lovely Breakfast/Brunch Cafe with incredible atmosphere. Food was tasty and healthy✨ Staff was lovely and attentive🥰 Diana was our server and walked us through the menu.

Brilliant breakfast with literally the best sourdough toast I’ve ever tasted - will now spend the next few weeks trying to recreate the crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside perfection! Unsure what all the poor reviews on this restaurant are for, it’s a brilliant spot in Birmingham and has never let me down.

The food was spectacular, made with in house baked sourdough that was heavenly! Gorgeous interiors that were sleek, cool, and payed homage to the architecture to the building, the entire ceiling is basically a frosted skylight which brought amazing natural light into the space.

I have staff all over the country and I organise our team meetings in Birmingham simply so I can come here and get some of their Almond croissants and some sourdough loaves to lug back to Essex.

It was my first time in Birmingham and I was really excited to go to this place. My experience and the delicious food was however ruined by staff. I had to wait 5mn by the waiting sign while waiters passed and left - to attend to a mostly empty restaurant (3 tables of guests when I came in). They all saw me and none attempted to help. I eventually had to request getting seated before I was assigned a table. As one waitress handed the menu, I didn’t even get the chance to think about my order before the lady by the dessert counter came to me asked: are you going to order anything. It didnt sound like a friendly request. I was presented with the card machine and asked if I was ready to pay before I even finished my main dish and drink. Eventually took the 3/4 of my dessert outside. As a woman of color - i felt very discriminated against. Amazing jam doughnut tho. Will personally not be coming back

The place is filthy. Toilets appalling. Almond croissant pastry lacked any finesse at all and was total stodge. The orange juice was fine.

Food wasnt good at all even tho i had beef sandwich . Bread was soaked not toasted enough , beef were half cold half warm, bread was cut really thin aswell . Over all just didnt look or taste as I expected. My daughters toastie other then that bread was so thick she couldn’t even bite it. Donut was sickening, too sweet even my kid who loves sweet things said its way to sweet . I felt sick after that good 5-6h . Also ordered cold matcha iced drink it was lits like ice and milk couldnt even taste matcha . Definitely not worth visiting again had big expectations by someone who recommended it !

Food here is great and the atmosphere is lovely. In the whole service was good but it was a little slow when we went last. They’re busy, and you often have to book if you want to get a table so this could be why. Have to get a cake on the way out too - they’re so good!!

Couldn’t wait to try some of the treats at Medicine. Unfortunately the cronut and scrolls were stale. The muffin was better. I couldn’t even tear or bite through the cronut it was that hard! The pastry on the scrolls was also too tough to tear. The staff were kind enough to offer an alternative to the cronut, but unfortunately overall I was very disappointed.

Today, we visited Medicine Bakery on New Street and had one of the worst experiences so far. The service was honestly one of the worst we've encountered, and the food was simply not worth it. We sent back two dishes immediately after trying them because we didn't like them, and we politely asked for them to be removed from the bill and replaced with something else. This is something that commonly happens, it is okei not to like something. If we had eaten the food and then asked for it to be removed, that would have been different, but this was not the case. The situation was straightforward, yet it was seriously blown out of proportion. The bill arrived with no amendments and the manager came over and essentially blamed us for ordering what we did. Going out for brunch is an opportunity for people to reconnect, but today was just awful. Honestly, the only good thing this place has is maybe the interior, but that is pretty much it.

We were served by Illaria who was very attentive and lovely 🥰 we had a lovely experience and the food was amazing! Will be coming again, thank you! X

Me and my sister’s friends went to have brunch at this place, having high expectations for good quality food but frankly this place didn’t meet any of our expectations.Unfortunately, we didn’t have an worthwhile experience this is quite upsetting and disappointing as it was my sister’s birthday.Moreover,collectively we made multiple complaints about the food ,we was not given an apology for the appalling quality of food and it took several complaints with staff members and the manager in order to receive one . Overall , it was an horrible experience.

If I could give them no stars I would. I went for my best friend’s birthday and the service was absolutely appalling. We waited 30mins for a smoothie after the rest of the drinks had arrived and raised its absence to the waitress again before finally receiving it. We complained about our food; we had 2x passion fruit French toast which was quite frankly bland and lacking in all qualities that would make it a French toast. We raised this with our waitress and spoke to a supervisor about it asking for it to be replaced with Nutella blondies instead(which was just as disgusting as what it was substituted for). We ordered another drink after this and waited an hour before cancelling the order as it didn’t show up. Finally the bill came and the French toasts were still on it as well as a service charge and the substitute meal (2x blondies). Which we raised with a waiter and he sent over the manager (brunette with large framed glasses) that came over with a standoffish demeanour and responded with disrespect and attitude which was quite frankly attributes that make me believe whole heartedly she is not fit for a managerial position. Something that I voiced to the area manager that was in. Before handing us back to the supervisor (red head) that dealt with our situation. Although the situation was dealt with we did not receive an apology for our experience until we spoke to the area manager even though we were passed around throughout the entire process.

I visited Medicine Bakery in New Street today for brunch as part of a group of six which consisted of four adults and two children. Cakes and doughnuts are on display as one enters the building and seating is further in to the right. I ordered a cappuccino and a toasted cheese sandwich which finally arrived arrived once I’d almost finished my drink. I wasn’t impressed with the cleanliness of our table which was very sticky, furthermore I don’t recall any staff undertaking any cleaning of any kind whilst I was there. The toilet facilities are very spartan: a single toilet and messy sink that is accessible using a narrow flight of stairs.

Food is incredible but the venue is quite loud and echos. Some sou d board would probably help.

We came here as a family over the weekend and what a hidden gem it is! My son is 8 and and can become impatient in restaurants making it difficult to have family meals, our waitress (Mya I believe) made him feel feel relaxed and comfortable giving him extra attention and being super attentive to his needs. We tried a few cocktails which were recommended to us - defiantly give them a try! All in all, amazing food with fantastic service and great atmosphere, keep it up guys! We will be back soon!

Front and inside really beautiful the pastries are a different story, tough made me pull so hard to get the food off,when I was crafting a kind girl was bringing tea to us, she said what are you making I said I don’t know then she said she used to craft but now she does abstract paintings

The restaurant itself is light and beautifully decorated but acted as a greenhouse and was very warm with not a lot of air. The menu looked tasty and varied but the food was just okay and the experience was let down by the service. The boy that took our order didn’t look up from his pad, didn’t ask about allergies or double check our order resulting in mistakes. I started with my drink order and he abruptly says “are you eating anything?”. No egg came on my croque monsieur until prompted and we never got the tap water we ordered. My sandwich was tasty and my friends French toast good but the hashbrown was not nice - soggy and mushy inside with no outer crisp and the romesco sauce added nothing. I also ordered a smoothie which came watery and chunky as though pre-blended and had to be sent back. On the plus side, the American waiter that delivered our drinks was very friendly and my smoothie was removed from the bill without issue.

I went to try it after I heard about it, and yes the pastries looked delicious, however, the service to sit was not good, the lady who was supposed to welcome and guide me was so serious and not welcoming at all. The worst in all this was in the bakery/pastries area (before going inside), the floor looked very dirty, and the girl who was serving the customers had 0 Hygiene knowledge, she was not wearing any gloves, and in front of me she grabbed a paper bag from the floor, her hand touched the floor and then she put it inside one of the small white bags for one of the customers, if it was me I'll not accept this or even take anything from her no matter how delicious or wonderful taste the pastries are. Cleaning and hygiene are very important in such business

It was a happy accident going here. But it is beautifully decorated and the food was really tasty. It took a while for our order to be taken, but i guess that comes when it's busy.

Never tried Medicine Bakery before but was really impressed how delicious was food. We've tried Harissa Benedict and Strawberry bun. Service was good. What I didn't like - so incredibly noisy, maybe is a big room acoustic or busy time but u couldn't wait to leave. Another thing I didn't like - the only 1 tiny quite dirty toilet for customers with dirty stairs and walls leading there. Really?? 1 cleaner and 2-3 hours of cleaning it would take..

It was my first visit here at medicine, and I was unsure of what to expect since I hadn’t seen many brunch places in Birmingham. What I can say is that it’s by far the most pleasant and calming experience I have had dining in a gallery. I was first interfaced with a young gentleman who was at the bakery. Since I have difficulty going up the stairs he offered to help, not only did he help me up the stairs, but he gave me a quick tour and history of medicine and its other franchises in Birmingham. He was well mannered and sweet; he’s name is Bardia. I enjoyed the pleasant experience of this new establishment and told him I will be back with the rest of the family. Overall, I had a brilliant time at medicine and I hope that I may visit soon again! The croissants are a must!

A friend of mine told me about this place, and I decided to visit ☺️. To be honest I didn't know anything about Medicine Bakery before and must have walked passed it loads of time. It's a really cool place with lots of tasty cakes. The menu is good and the atmosphere is relaxing. The staff are attentive and welcoming. This is my new favourite cafe in Brum....

Great place to go for brunch, juices are healthy and fresh. Love all their Baked goods too! Best Cronuts! Paired with good coffee

Very nice and characteristic place, wide choice of drinks and the desserts absolutely recommended!! £7 between the cup of tea and the cake.

I went there Sunday with my family, and we had a very good time. We were served by the lovely Ilaria who helped us choose the best dishes for us. She recommended a dish from each sections and guaranteed the were good choices and they were!! She came back again to check we had everything which was nice. I highly recommend this place and to ask about her when you go!
