Awful pitta souvlaki from Goodsheds outlet. Pretty sure the meat was not chicken...it was inedible. Waste of money.

Cold chicken what there was of it After returning my food to their Newport market branch thought I’d give them one more try wish I didn’t bother. Never again.

Love Goodsheds and Meat & Greek, only trouble is that I just stuff my face and forget to take a photo 😋

Such a pity I won’t be ordering again. When I first started eating from here the halloumi came with a clear honey and chilli dip for an extra fee. How gutted was I when I ordered this recently & was given a tomato based dip - that I sent back…. so they sent my food round the building before sending it back to me COLD & with the fob off of we don’t know what you’re talking about…. Really. Well I will take my cash elsewhere as I don’t appreciate being called a liar. Has the business changed hands or do they have a short memory?

Great service, a quiet Friday afternoon but very pleasant.

Good shed was a great experience, I chose Meat and Greek. Pitta and filling was nice, but there could have been more chicken and pork souvlaki in it!

Ordered at the eistedfodd and sad to say the standard of their food has really gone down hill. Ordered the chicken but hardly any of it, and the halloumi just wasn’t very nice. Shame, as used to be a favourite.

Very nice food overall, though I would definitely recommend the halloumi and the oregano fries.

would absolutely give this a miss unless you like a pita filled with dry pork and uncut salad. £11 got something that I couldn’t finish because it’s literally creamed full of Tzatziki

Hardly no meat had a mix of chicken and pork. Had four cubs of tough Pork, was hard to chew and I couldn't find the chicken. Just a salad in a pitta great for the vegans!

Been a few times, each time the food is on point.

The food was delivered quickly and was hot when we got it. But there was so much sauce on the pitta I couldn't taste anything else, the chicken was tasteless. There are better Greek takeaways in Barry. Disappointed.

Incredible taste of the Mediterranean, takes me back to my time in Cyprus! Pork was juicy and tender, chicken was very flavoursome and feta and oregano fries were to die for!! Can't wait until my next visit!! If I could give more stars I would!!! 😋😋😋

We have been here on a number of occasions for big group gatherings and individuallly. Caters for a number of dietary preferences. Really enjoyed out most recent trip. Service is always good. If in or around Goodshed, well worth a visit

I generally only eat chicken breast, as the meat is white and looks more appealing but the way meat and Greek marinate their chicken is delicious. Authentically made and you can tell it is made with love.

Moments after ordering halloumi pitta at Newport Market I realised that the fries I thought came separately with my meal actually came in the pitta (an error on my part). I went to the counter well before my food had been prepared and explained that I wanted the few fries otherwise served in pitta to be served separately. The owners reply was extremely rude. His livelihood is dependant on the very customers he serves. He’ll not be getting my custom in the future, nor the custom of the 3 friends who I was dining with that evening. Rude man.

Cold , bland and tasteless , chips like cardboard and the chicken was grey , I have never seen chicken look like that !!!!!!!!!i was quite glad that I only found 3 pieces in it

Fresh salad and good meat, but so so so bland - every mouthful was identical with the overpowering flavor being plain yogurt. Could have done with pickles, cabbage and a proper Greek salad base. It was just so plain.

Es haych eye tee. Absolutely terrible food, didn’t sit right at all. Under cooked and tasteless chicken, salad was nowhere near fresh. Waste of money, my advice is avoid !

Newport market.. quite frankly disappointed in this salad bowel as i was quite excited to try it ..however the pork was really dry!!! Chicken wasn’t that bad but the pork was chewy and hard to eat.. to point where I couldn’t even finish it i spent at least £13 on it so not really happy..

Amazing food, had it delivered and it was still warm. Only problem is uber eats adding a cost on the food and delivery.

I had the pork souvlaki and my partner had the chicken souvlaki, plus a portion of the greeks in blankets (a highly tasty Greek take on pigs in blankets). Tasty and filling food, guys on the stall in Newport market really friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning

Had chicken souvlaki at the Newport market recently and was pretty underwhelmed. The salad was all fresh and very tasty, as were the humus and tzatziki. The pitta was OK, but nothing special. The chicken though was dry and tasteless. It was served cold in just a paper bag which meant it couldn't be put down without everything spilling out. the pitta then split along the bottom which meant I had to pick bits out with a fork. Perhaps acceptable if it was £4 or £5, but for £9 I expected something better.

Like some previous reviews, food arrived stone cold; 2 chicken souvlaki and chips. On the tracker a driver was assigned then disappeared for another one to be assigned. Good flavours, cold food. Won't order again. Very disappointing, not even a contact number for the business is available. Poor business model.

Arrived at the good sheds placed order online, we had the surprise to realize that no one in the kitchen, they all sat in the sun. Finally the chef started cooking without even washing his hands who really put us off big time especially when you got an open kitchen and see everything, we had 2 chicken souvlaki, chicken was that big that we had to cut it ourselves, no taste at all, very cold. after serving our dishes the chefs came out the kitchen and took their place again in the sun, overall really bad experience really expensive, never come back!!!!

Consistently excellent food from Lisandros and Sophie, and their tremendous team. The chicken souvlaki is to die for.

Great food, great atmosphere, cool unique venue , amazing quality and price - and the staff were fantastic!

Ordered for via uber eats half of the order missing and what did arrive was stone cold. Also no way of contacting the restaurant via phone.

So disappointed, waited over an hour for two stone cold pork souvlaki and some stone cold chips. Charged 21 quid for it as well.
