Excellent Hong Kong food, the best in Oxford, in some sense the food is even better than a lot of restaurants in Hong Kong, good job💪🏻

Great food and super friendly service! Feels like a family run business, staff are all so pleasant, makes you feel like home. Halfway through our meal, a bee flew in and a customer freaked out, the staff tried their best to catch it and let it go so as not to hurt it. Not forget to mention that food is flavourful and portion is good. Will definitely visit again when we return.

Went here the last week with my family. I had the duck set menu which was fantastic! Food overall was so good. My daughter loved attempting to use the kids chop sticks. Staff were really lovely, friendly and attentive. The fact it is just near the plan roundabout and right next to st Clements car park makes it really easy to get to. Will be returning and telling many about it.

Just Perfect the Food, Service and value for money

Outstanding atmosphere and great food, especially the fishballs which are a must have. Only fault is how overly nice and hospitable the staff are! 10/10 and very affordable prices too!

I had the Hainanese Chicken rice which tasted pretty authentic! The chicken was cooked really well and was super juicy.The atmosphere feels so warm and the staff here are friendly and accomodating. I would definitely revisit this place again to try the other dishes and would highly recommend this place!

You will have a great time every time you visit this Hong Kong-style shop! The new products launched are often good, and of course my personal favorites are the Hong Kong-style afternoon tea items! A year or two later, I still recommend it!

Brilliant restaurant/cafe. We came for a late lunch. Owners were friendly and helpful. Food is good quality and portions were very substantial. We ordered chicken Katsu curry, hainan chicken rice and a few sides. We ordered Hongkong Yuzu Soda iced drink as well as Hongkong ice milk tea. All excellent. The place is clean and tidy. The lady also offered us a photo album of actual food they serve. Thank you and we will be back.

Good presentation of food. We have tried many different kinds of food from starters to desserts. All are delicious! The staff are very nice as well. The atmosphere is very nice and warm. This is a must go restaurant for our every visit in Oxford.

The food was incredible, for a fair price (£16) I ordered a menu that included the dish, plus a side and drink where you had several options to choose from. The person who served me was very kind and helped me choose what to order according to my tastes, which I really appreciated. I came on a Friday at 6:30 p.m. and there were several tables available and a very relaxed atmosphere. I would recommend it without hesitation!

Very tasty! Went here with friends and ordered four kinds of food. I highly recommend the fried eel rice. Everyone agreed that the edamame was the best, hahaha. The edamame was also delicious.

I found this on Xiaohongshu. I went to Cambridge with my friends today and ate as soon as it opened. I ordered the scallion pork chop set, and my friend ordered the Hainanese chicken rice. They were both delicious! The store's business is very good and the people are very nice. They helped us enthusiastically and told us how to make it more convenient by car next time we come to Cambridge. Really recommended! It’s delicious and the store staff are also very nice.

I had many entries instead of one main, everything was super tasty!

I have lived in Oxford for two years and this is my favorite Chinese restaurant. I ate in five times and took out six times in one month. It was the most surprising discovery this year. The fried pork is perfectly cooked, tender and juicy, the Hainanese chicken is authentic, the onions and ginger are delicious, and they are working tirelessly to develop new menus, which is simply too ambitious for a British Chinese restaurant. The price was very reasonable for the 16 pound set meal. Will recommend to all my friends!

This is my friend’s favorite eating place and she urges me to have a try, saying they have the best Hainan Chicken in Oxford. I am not disappointed! The ginger & spring onion paste is extremely delightful (and how long have I missed that as part of the dish!). The side (we had fried chicken and fried tofu) and smoothie are very nice. Delightful service. Will come back to explore more options of mains.

Right here, right now. I drove from Reading to try this Hong Kong restaurant. It's definitely worth the time and effort.

I have come here multiple times and on each trip the food has been absolutely amazing and delicious. I absolutely adore everything I have eaten and am only saddened when it’s closed or when certain set menu mains are yet to make a recurrence, due to how delicious they are. The dishes are always picture perfect and tastes just as good. I absolutely love the karaage with soba noodles in soup and, most recently on the set menu, the roast pork belly with braised tofu, literally the best tofu I’ve ever had and some of the most tender pork I’ve eaten. The staff have always been incredibly friendly and attentive, always willing to help wherever they can, especially for new comers who may be unsure about the menu. Honestly can’t stress enough how much I absolute love this place and will continue to frequent it for as long as I am in Oxford.

The address is easy to find, the waiter is pretty and the landlady is cordial and friendly, the food is delicious, bringing back the taste of Hong Kong🇭🇰, especially the frozen lemon tea is my favorite. I want to eat all the food, but unfortunately I can only eat one. I’ll save it for the next time I visit you in Oxford. (I hope you remember the two C9s, visiting from Cambridge😘)

We don't live in Oxford anymore but we go out of our way to come here any time we can. One of the best, if not the best, places to eat in Oxford.

We popped in yesterday just after six and had a really enjoyable meal of tempura and Katsu Curry. Food was very tasty and I thought the price was very reasonable. Service was excellent. Would definitely eat there again if I was in the area. Recommended !

Perfect end for a Day Out Very relaxed restaurant with very friendly staff and amazing food. We definitely recommend the Beef ribeye Teriyaki, the Char Siu, and the Seaweed. Very good teas, either the hot and the iced options. Don't forget to ask for pudding because there are some sweet surprises and apparently they're never the same. We got a delicious cream and crumbled biscuit pudding. And - although not what you'd associate with East Asian food - we can't praise the espresso enough. We will be back.

Expensive price, unreasonable portion! I went with friend to try this restaurant one week ago and we both got bad experience. Service was just fair though needed to pay service charge. But this was not the main problem. The main failure was the quantity and size they provided. The photo attached was the French Toast and chips we got. A really thin toast with a little chips. Actually this was almost my fifth time to have meal here. Its performance was getting worse and worse in my opinion. (E.g. “flexible” service charge, food quality issue, etc)

My husband and I went today to Meal Plus after seeing all the good reviews they have in Google. We were amazed with the quality of the food their served, the atmosphere was very relaxed and all the members of the staff were super lovely with us. Everything was super clean, well presented and full of flavour. By far, the best Asian restaurant in Oxford. We spoke to the owner, a super sweet and charming lady, and she explained us they change their set menu every week. We can’t wait to come back again and try more dishes!! 100% recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wow! I had a huge and delicious bowl of prawn udon with lobster bisque. Decided to splash out after reading the great reviews. Great decision! For those who are on a tighter budget, the meal deal is a great option. Lovely place with the nicest staff. A great find for a lonely tourist! ☺️

It was my first time eating at this restaurant and was not disappointed. The staff were welcoming, warm & professional, with helpful suggestions for food and drinks. The waitress Roni went above and beyond. I recommend the Soba Noodles with Karaage and salad, which was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed the food and will definitely be coming back.

Thank you for a really lovely meal last night. Service was so friendly and helpful, the girls went out of their way to explain the dishes and even brought us some extra sauce just for us to taste. Don't be fooled by the decor, this cafe is really a 5* restaurant.

Really friendly staff and tasty meals on a budget. Portions were good. We only had 30 minutes to eat and the staff accommodated our needs while still giving us a lovely lunch.

Stopped here for lunch after the botanical gardens and Magdalen and were so pleased to have found this! The menu has good options (but not too many), food was really good, portion size was also good and service was fantastic. Would definitely return. Ordered the soba noodles with karage and the Hong Kong pork and yuzu and lime sodas. Everything was delicious and the owner/manager was so sweet.

It's not average, but it's delicious. There's no surprise. But the Hainanese chicken rice doesn't even add oil, so it's outrageous. I'd describe it as a Hong Kong downstairs tea experience. Passing by, you can try it. There's nothing there. Regret The menu could be enriched. IKEA’s positioning is so strange.

Unbelievable service, we were visiting Oxford and they really took care of my girlfriend recovering from a tooth surgery and made us feel very welcome and in great hands. The food was even better than the service. Cooked to perfection and the meat melted in ya mouth it was crazy. Left feeling full, happy and grateful. Will definitely come again when I go back to Oxford

as an international student here this is the BEST food spot i've found in the UK!!!! the food is amazing, they have authentic options from japan to china to hong kong!! you can also make your own poke bowls!! and the people working there are so generous and so wonderful :) really made my day! thank you

I visited this restaurant in early April and unfortunately, they overcharged me. Initially, I thought it was an isolated incident, but upon reading other people's comments, it seems to be a recurring issue. I believe this might be intentional. I had two set lunches each priced at £15.50, we also ordered a Hong Kong style French Toast which was £4.5, but we were charged £42.9.

Altering an recipe with a long-standing recipe, the cooks here have combined the traditional HK fried chicken thigh with crunchy American fries, producing a combo of aromatic, mouth-watering delicacies for a cheap price.

Best Chinese food in Oxford! Especially for homestyle HK food. Happened to walk by a few weeks ago and thought we'd give it a try - we were blown away! We've been back twice now, and each time the food and service has been terrific; the specials are definitely worth trying. So glad to welcome yet another terrific restaurant to East Oxford. One of the best, if not the best, authentic oriental (Hong Kong) food in Oxford. All food is tasty, with a nice portion. Not a huge shop, but cozy with good service. Convenient location, there is a car park just next to the shop, if you don't drive, an easy access even by bus or small walk from Oxford Botanic garden. Worth every penny to make a trip to try this HK food shop. Strongly recommend if you like good food, cozy place and easy access location for lunch or dinner.

Great comfort food served by staff with joy and honesty... I came back for the delicious fragrant crispy pork chop served with rice, egg and a nice lil salad and pork broth soup... Salted caramel chicken wings also (despite sounding a little odd) delicious and extra crispy. Would come back often if I lived here!

Hong Kong restaurant with high quality food. Yesterday I tried the barbecued pork egg rice, Hainanese chicken rice, western toast, satay beef noodles, and tea. They were super delicious and had endless aftertaste. I sincerely recommend them!

Coming from Singapore, I’ve genuinely struggled to find good Asian food in Oxford that doesn’t burn a hole thru your wallet. Meal Plus is honestly a godsend with its quality ingredients and service! Had the Char Siu rice, tasted really authentic and not too oily. The side salad was a lovely addition too! Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu~ can’t recommend enough! Thank you to the lovely owner for the spicy chilli on the side too ! 💖

Authentic Hong Kong style "fast food restaurants", the HoiNam chicken oil rice is really good. The "So9sad rice" (bbq pork with egg) is super delicious! Cold lemon tea and HK style Milk tea 100% authentic. Lovely!
