Been here before and popped in today whilst visiting the shops in Melbourne. I had the breakfast and my wife had the pancakes. First thing that I liked was that we weren’t brought our drinks 10 minutes before the food as I like them together. Food arrived and was excellent and good value. Friendly and attentive staff as well. Thank you.

I was recommend to have lunch here by people at The gallery art studio in the village Very friendly greetings and nice atmospher. Very helpful staff as i am diabetic, re carbs in bread for toastie, went the extra mile to help me. Popped in here for a morning coffee and had one of the newly baked fresh scones with strawberry jam and cream served on lovely vintage china. All very cute and with a lovely warm atmosphere. Log burner crackling away. ❤️ there’s a small vintage gift shop attached. Only open on a Saturday.

Great country pub, stopped in on the off chance of getting table after long walk around Elveston Castle Country Park, this pub is less than 2 miles away. Very busy with large car park at the rear, plenty of tables in beer garden outside. Good selection of traditional pub food which all looked and tasted fantastic with good sized portions. Good selection of beers on offer. Staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful throughout. Allows dogs inside. Highly recommend.
