Really tasty lunch. Although the portions were small. Soured only by our unpleasant waitress who is in the wrong job. She questioned when she brought the wrong order and was so ungracious replacing the dish. She just plopped our drinks down and cast a shadow on what would have been a lovely lunch on Sunday 2nd June.

Totally agree with the last review. Awful place! Went here with two friends recently. We were the only customers there, bad sign particularly as all the other restaurants nearby were busy. Food very average, we were given our bill without asking, xmas tree lights turned off and asked to leave. It wasn't much past 9.30pm! Waitress clearly wanted to go home, she looked bored and uninterested all evening. Avoid!!

I have never in my life eaten in a restaurant that employs such inefficient and couldn’t-care-a-less serving staff. Who is supposed to be managing this place? Whoever it was was singularly absent or appeared to be totally inefficient. Our server seemed more interested in communing with another member of staff in the background instead of taking our order. No wonder the place was empty. I would be seriously worried if I owned this restaurant. And another thing: service charge was not mentioned on the menu but was automatically added to the bill. In this case that was an insult. The menu is small and, in my opinion, not terribly exciting. My pappardelle were reasonable. The other two meals were essays in mediocrity.

We were quite disappointed with our first visit to Meadow. We arrived at 8pm on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was strangely quiet and empty, wasn’t much atmosphere at all. The menu was quite small so we expected it to be of high standard. We had the prawn linguine & the beef shin parpadelle. Sadly both dishes were quite bland, and lacked meat. The beef shin pasta was a seasoned tomato sauce, and I think only had about 2 small pieces of beef in the whole thing. The prawn linguine was completely flavourless and only had a few prawns which had been cut up into really small pieces. The waiting staff didn’t pay us much attention, didn’t check to see if our food was ok. When I raised the issue about the food, didn’t really respond or acknowledge this in any way. Sadly won’t be returning any time soon.

yo vivo a unas puertas y he pasado este lugar polaco muchas veces pensando que deberías probarlo, especialmente porque es un restaurante familiar independiente.

I had there very fun nights, a lot of young people and very good music. The cocktails were amazing too.

We arrived and joined the queue for a table, we were then shown a table by what turned out to be the manager, sat for a while and picked what we wanted. Then what I assume was our waiter arrived and asked us repeatedly if we had jumped over the fence, our explanation fell on deaf ears, he repeatedly asked if we had sneaked in or jumped the fence. No idea why he was so aggressive, we are a late fifties couple, but he treated us like we were stealing something. Eventually we walked out rather than stay and be abused, past the very confused manager who I asked why we were being abused by a member of his staff for merely sitting where he had placed us, no answer other than would we like to have another table when it becomes free. We will never return.

The Living Room is located a 2 minutes' walk from Piccadilly station on a quiet street full of terraces that fill up with neighbors when the weather's good. The music is great and the prices are about average for beer, wine and cocktails. The staff is always very friendly and everyone is welcome!

Good food, can’t go wrong with Haz, just slightly pricier than other Turkish offerings as they are a bit more upmarket.
