I was today in the place. I have ordered pizza that was disgusting with the price 14 pounds. I didn’t recommend the place.

I arrived with my daughter was sent to a table which was at a massive angle, (thought the drinks might roll down the table! ) waiter seemed rude to us, awkward in his approach muttered something inaudible as he pointed to the lop sided table. I noticed that some people were receiving better service, we bought 2 champagne Bellinis which looked and tasted awful. Looked like they had chucked some syrup in which was still sliding down the side. It didn’t taste good at all and was warm. In a very small champagne glass and for 2 cost £40.50. We were ignored for a considerable amount of time, despite asking for the menu with a view to order something that tasted better, no one returned so we decided to leave. Waited another 15-20 minutes for the bill. Service charge added to bill wow!! What service? Awful atmosphere and drinks, I’m guessing I should have read reviews before I bothered.

I’ve never written a negative review but this was an all round awful experience. Seating seemed chaotic but we were given a table and menus and looked forward to a drink and some food. My daughter left to go to the toilets. 20 minutes later she returned. This establishment has no toilets despite a large seating area. My daughter had to visit a toilet elsewhere and was charged £1. Meanwhile we ordered. Small menu. Not cheap. My younger daughter ordered a croissant. The waiter appeared with a plate of pasta and seemed totally confused when we explained the item was not what we’d ordered. He stood looking confused and didn’t seem to take in that we hadn’t ordered pasta. Eventually he left and returned, this time with a toastie. My daughter gave up and just ate it. I asked the waitress why there were no toilets and why my daughter had been charged despite spending £60 on food. She could not advise. She offered to speak to manager. The manager didn’t appear. Later I called over the manager who really didn’t grasp the issue but suggested there was some token system. Why was this not explained when my daughter enquired re the toilets? A service charge was applied. I paid and left as I didn’t want to further embarrass the waitress. Shocking all round. Ps The ‘pizza’ I ordered was disgusting. Cheese spread on some sort of wrap. Nothing could’ve been further from a pizza.

We were sat down very quickly in a nice position outdoors but then were asked if we were ready every few seconds. The meals were very limited in what they offered and were not cheap. The wine was at unbelievable prices, £12 plus service for the cheapest glass if I remember correctly. My alternative of a double espresso at £4.50 plus service was the final straw so we eat elsewhere, a few yards away and at almost half the price.

Arrived for and pastries this morning. Service was slow but it was busy so understandable, we ordered 3 pastries they took a very long time so we cancelled them. We were not offered an apology and upon complaining the staff member took it very personal and became aggressive and dismissive. Very disappointing as the coffees were perfect.

It is what it is. Stopped here for drinks and it's hideously overpriced. Having said that it's in Covent Garden Square and I knew it would be. Service was pleasant enough - but wouldn't come back.

We had a very bad experience in this restaurant. There was no food available because there were troubles in the kitchen. We orderd without seeing the menu Some drinks. When we want to pay, we saw that 1 glass sauvignon was 16!!!!!! Pounds. They also let you pay almost 4 pounds for service. When we asked about the price, the manager was not Nice. Stupid restaurant en service. Please Go somewhere else.

Totally unacceptable - waited 50 mins for salads to arrive and when they did they were shockingly bad. A few salad leaves and some bits of pale chicken. The waiter was very understanding and didn’t charge us (we weren’t going to pay). It’s a great location but you need to get your act together. You can’t be charging these prices for what you’re producing and taking ages to produce it!

What a lovely way to start the new year! My wife and I popped into what we thought was a Deli but ended up being a lovely little restaurant on the corner of Covent Garden. We were welcomed by Marcus the manager who tempted us to have a seat and enjoy the chef’s “famous” Avocado Toast. We did, we ate and we loved it! The Iranian chef came and spoke to us and made us feel like VIP’s. Thank you Marcus and thank you Chef. We’ll be back soon.

Went with a group of friends in the middle of a very busy freezing cold Saturday after looking around Covent Garden Christmas Markets. We'd tried a number of places for lunch and had almost given up before we found the Aubaine Deli. The lovely Manager Marcus (pictured) quickly created a table under a heater for all six of us. We were warmed up with delicious mulled wine, we were all given blankets too. The service was excellent, the food was fab and we were all very happy indeed. Thank you Marcus!

We popped in for a light lunch and really wish we hadn’t. The service was so slow, it took them nearly 45 minuets to rustle up a pizza and a sharing board. With a hungry 4 year old and an 9 month old baby loosing his attention span , this was not a good combination. The waiting staff were nice enough but very inexperienced. I think the chef must have been on lunch break when we called as very few people appeared to have food in front on them. The table was on a silly slope, the food was mediocre, the price certainly didn’t match the quality. I’m all for helping staff out with tips, but when a service charge of 12.5 % was added after such a dreadful experience I was left feeling mugged off. I would recommend giving this establishment a swerve until they get their act together.

Stopped in for a light lunch Restaurant in nice postion .Felt like you were in Covent garden but not to close to hustle and bustle. Had ham and cheese croissant (ok) and Salmon and cheese ( gorgeous) . Slightly under staffed . Perfect for light lunch

4 of us visited this place for drinks only. We ordered 4 pints of beer after asking the waiter which beers he had (he walked off mid conversation!). We got our drinks, 1 of which had hairs on the top and which the waiter appeared loathe to the change (but did). We paid for our drinks and left when we noticed a board outside saying £15 for 4 beers so we decided to query this with the waiter who told us that the board had been put up after we arrived, that it was for small beers and that he was not trying to rob us!!! Shocking attitude all round by a waiter (foreign accent). I definitely would not recommend this place 😡

We just found this place randomly looking for a normal outdoor bar that was fun. It was not just fun, the staff were super friendly and went out of their way to celebrate my birthday and make it special. In these challenging times it was sooo needed. Absolutely amazing!!
