You wouldn't understand how grateful we we're for such a peaceful and quiet night. We had an appalling night the previous night elsewhere and scanned booking.com for somewhere that would actually be away from any kind of roads and we came across your establishment and we had a GREAT night's sleep. The staff are friendly and welcoming and although we didn't have a meal then desserts were great.

Overnight stay, easy access from road, parking, wifi & secure rooms. Everything is clean & tidy & perfect for our requirements. Good access to restaurant for Di bet £ breakfast. Reasonable prices for everything

Lovely warm atmosphere and friendly staff

We went for a family meal of 30 people, for a special birthday, we were given an area to our selves. Wendy was brilliant she very patiently got all our orders using our names and table number and added all our tabs separately which made it really easy when paying. The Food came in really good time, it felt we didn't have to wait long at all. The food was really nice I loved my cheese and potato pie.They cleared the tables quickly and were very polite, another lady helped she was lovely too. If we asked for anything they were very polite and got it for us. The whole evening was great, thankyou to the meadow farm team, We will be back again soon. 💞👍😊

Had a wake here after funeral. Excellent buffet (we had gold buffet) plenty of choice and loads of food. Staff were lovely constantly topping up the buffet. The food left at end was bagged up by staff and the guests were able to take it home. Staff were attentive kind and catered to all our needs. I would recommend this as an ideal venue for a wake.

I used to visit Meadow Farm regularly to eat but stopped a few years ago as the food went downhill. My wife and I went there last night as we'd heard it had different owners and staff. We were welcomed in and the waitress was really nice and helpful. We both ordered steak, I have it well done, my wife has it medium rare. Both came out extremely overdone, the chips were also overdone. I ate mine as I don't mind things being overdone but my wife couldn't even cut it let alone eat it. I was charged for the food I ate but not my wife's after complaining. We weren't even compensated. I was told that there was only one person in the kitchen and there were around 10 customers, as we left it was filling up. The table next to us also complained about the food, all overcooked. Surely if they haven't got the kitchen staff don't sell the food. We'll never go back.

What can i say! I havent got one bad thing to say about the meadow farm, from the rooms, staff and the grounds in the garden i really enjoyed my stay. Also i would just like to say that the lovely lady wendy who checked me in to my rooms was brilliant looking after my stay. Will be back soon!

Staff were friendly, beer was good but the food was awful. We both had steak, meant to be well done and medium rare, both were more than well done, it was comparable to wood. Won't be back

Feel so sorry for people saying top food ect let me let you know everything you eat here is boil bag or microwave from deep freezer out back on carpark nothing is fresh people stop paying and eating crap Marston are laughing at you none of this is fresh it comes in a plastic bag

Chelle our waitress was excellent, the food was lovely.

My meal wasn’t complete when someone finally came and asked if everything was ok I said I’m missing some of my meal and the barmaid laughed at me and said would you like a refund for your pound I said keep it and walked off because it must of been run by idiots who know nothing about manners I was also staying for the full week and rather got a taxi to the local weatherspoons than deal with children again Learn to employ staff with manners instead of owing your paying customers money

First time we've been here and was pleasantly impressed with the historic & architectural style building. The restaurant decor throughout was lovely, clean and well maintained. 1. The food was really nice, I had the mixed grill as did my Dad, it was all cooked perfectly. Nice juicy steak, lovely gammon, chicken and sausages. My Mum had Sausages, mash, peas and gravy, nice portion and very tasty. 2. All the staff are very nice as was the young waitress who serviced us. 3. The ambiance was perfect. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, and the decor was nice. 4. Overall, this was an a really nice dining experience. The food, service, and ambiance were all top-notch. I will definitely be back when i come up from Cardiff to visit my Niece. Plenty of car parking and disabled parking.

Ate here whilst on a trip with my grand daughter food was okay but Thurs kids ate for £1 and Friday offer was withdrawn but all signs still advertising and staff just said its off they don't inform the staff just alter the till from a central point not very professional to leave advertising up

Stayed in the accommodation which was clean, tidy and a reasonable price with an easy check in. Went to the pub for dinner and drinks, which had a nice atmosphere and a great garden. The food was reasonably priced and tasty. Love that they ask if you have an allergies prior to ordering. The highlight was the staff. Chelle and the other ladies were fantastic. Friendly, helpful, fun and accomodating. Great work team. 😊

Great service. Great room. Quiet and comfortable. Slight mix up on room requirements but immediately sorted out by Philippa on reception. Meal was excellent. Very good starters and excellent steak and good lasagne. Waitress service was very professional and friendly. Amelie made sure she understood exactly what we wanted which was a slight adjustment from the norm but service with a smile and all sorted. Will definitely stay here and eat here again. Thankyou.

Nice little pub / restaurant setup next to the hotel, which is much better than the usual stuff you get with other hotel chains. Decent menu and food as well. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Special mention to Seanah who is always smiling and serves a lovely Guinness!

The whole pub experience was amazing. The venue is honestly beautiful. The food was 10/10 whilst still maintaining a quick service. Also has an amazing beer garden. Shout out to Seanah and Demi who served me. They're absolute 😇s. Will 100% be coming back here!!!!

Very poor show tonight, popped in with 2 little ones, 30% discount, but not applied when ordering from table!! Long queues at bar….walked as was going to be far too long until served & got food….really busy Fri night….just went elsewhere!!! Hadn’t been here I a while and was quite disappointed my sandwich which was advertised as multigrain or white bloomer with chicken and bacon , the bread was not a bloomer mite a toasted wholemeal sliced bread 3 slices making it look like a club sandwich that it was not who toasts bread spoilt the sandwich, and grandson Childs dinner was lacking and finesse dark fishfingers and waffles looked like been cooked before and leftovers he never touched it so £5.99 wasted. The reason gif 3 stars was because the other meals were slightly better , sorry to say won’t be going there again

We came for the 30% off mains deal, and although it was a great deal and the bill was very reasonable, the service was unfortunately very poor. I don’t blame the staff, because they were doing the best that they could, but the pub was horrendously understaffed. I would have thought that they would have put as many staff on as possible to ensure that customers had good service and would want to return and pay full price. We waited a long time for our food to arrive. Our meals were missing the gravy that was part of the meal, so we called a waitress over to ask for it but unfortunately we never received it. After we finished, we were hoping to order deserts, but there were no staff around as they were dealing with so much at the main end of the restaurant. We waited 45 minutes for someone to come to our table until we decided to find a staff member ourselves and ask for the bill. I’d like to stress that the staff were lovely and tried hard to provide good service, but the promotion was poorly managed.

We chose to sit within the bar area which meant we had to go to the bar to place the food order. Unfortnatly when the food came out we were missing a childs complete meal, and an extra portion of chips that were ordered. The barmaid was very appologetic and it seemed nobody could identify what caused the issue on the till. We then had to reorder the childs meal, despite our mains being served and eaten so that ruined the meal. It was then idnetified that I had been over charged for this 2nd meal so this was then refunded. We agreed that we wont be going back in a rush as overal experiemce was poor.

What a lovely place, served by Demi and Jess, lovely smiley girls with great service, good food and a nice atmosphere. Dogs being allowed was the highlight of my time there.

Room was amazing, was like sleeping on a cloud, breakfast had the most sensational sausage in the world of sausageness, for lunch, the kebab was the best kebab since Stavros’s in Turkey.

I went for a meal with friends absolutely lovely pub great atmosphere and the food wow I had a burger it's was to die for cooked by chef stef will definitely go again.

Ate in the restaurant, really well looked after by Seanah. Deserves employee of the month. Will be back.

Didn't ask about allergies. it took forever to be served even though they wasn't busy. Food is on par or below weatherspoons. If cheap and cheerful is your thing, then maybe here, but if you want a bit more, go elsewhere

Brilliant place to eat and drink for all the family, love it.

We went in for breakfast on a weekday so there were only a few people there. Great, friendly service with a smile and the value for money is excellent. Coffee from the machine is not so great, but the food came out hot and quickly once ordered. 4/5 as not a perfect breakfast, but definitely solid and worth the price.

Food was really good but service was a bit slow, not sure if this was due to being under staffed but we had to ask for the kids desserts 3 times, the main courses and drinks took a while as well.

Waited forever for food Fish finger sandwich had brown lettuce and I asked for multi grain bread but got brown bread Hunters chicken baguette had no bacon Chicken and bacon sandwich had no tomato and cold fries Only got about 10 chips on each plate Baguette was burnt

Great place to stay for work or pleasure if only they knew how to cook an omlet in the pub. It wash mush and whisked milk. Shame as I was going to use this location every month but a breakfast is my 1 meal and that failed.

The staff were really friendly, polite and helpful. The food was nice, we all enjoyed our meals, however service was really slow. We were going to order dessert, but decided against. Our drinks and food took a long time to appear. It wasn't really busy, so assumed they were short staffed.

I've just submitted my complaint. Food size and quality was laughable. Some burnt, some undercooked, barely warm, served outside in the rain. I could go on. Person behind the bar was nice enough, but otherwise service was non existent. Shame as the pub and play area was lovely.

The staff are helpful with friendly professional manner and the food is lovely they've vegan menu as well and the food is very taste, I haven't stopped in the rooms so I can't comment about them.

We came here for my son’s birthday dinner. There was 8 of us eating and not one of us finished our meals the food was terrible everyone’s chips were cold, a lot of the food was burnt. Would not go back again was a waste of money

Very disappointed, the roast beef was only available to one of us (4 wanted beef) 2 ordered hunters chicken which looked like it had been divided between the two plates and looked tiny. As we were finishing, we were told the only beef dish was also off the menu . We had to wait for an alternative to be cooked. 4/10

We are not happy customers at all. A year or so ago, we used to love coming here, so much so thay we boasted to family about this restaurant. However, this is no longer the case and I'm afraid I have to say we will not be returning here in the future. Firstly, when we arrived, there was no one around.to take us to a table. Several members of staff had seen us, but no one said anything. Then, once we were seated and our food had arrived, 1 of our dinners came with gravy on even though we strongly expressed NO gravy when placing the order! This meant that 1 child was sat with no food whilst everyone else had there's. Then our cutlery was brought over. Well, all I can say is disgusting. Every single piece of cutlery was disgustingly dirty. Then, when the wrong food was finally brought out, they were missing part of the order, so we had to wait again!. My food was so bland and my partners salad looked like it had been there a week. We were absolutely gutted as this was a treat for us as we are on a calorie controlled diet. I felt so disappointed that I used my calories on this awful experience. Such a waste of money.

Some food were unavailable. Which seems pretty unreasonable. How can you have mixed grill not available. Waited for 20 mins for the drinks to arrive after ordering.
