Went for a breakfast sandwich with my daughter and granddaughter. Always get a warm welcome and under present circumstances we knew we were completely safe eating there . Other regular customers came in too . Please support local businesses in this terrible time .

I have had lunch and coffee here on a few occasions. Parking can be tight at times so chose your time wisely. The coffee shop it's self is small but quaint and styled with vintage in mind. It's presentation and customer service is of good standard.

A real pleasure to visit here. My friend & I love to find delightful places to lunch - this venue is now a favourite! Great menu with plenty of variety & brilliant prices. For example a huge & gorgeous slice of homemade cake is £2.95. We ordered two Bacon & Stilton on Brown sandwiches with a side order of chips to share. Meal came with delicious homemade coleslaw & generous salad garnish. The waitress/till lady was very welcoming & charming. The Chef served our meal & was a lovely guy. Dining Room is cosy with an eclectic look featuring mirrors & fairy lights. A range of seating to suit all tastes from easy chairs/sofas to rustic tables & chairs. We bought some tastey bits from the Farm Shop which also stocks cute gifts. Also purchased some plants from the nursery greenhouse which were a very reasonable price. Brilliant spacious car park too! We will be returning often

I totally loved the shop and will be visiting again when back in the area. The fact that it is family run adds to the charm. I will be recommending to family and friends for sure.

I visit Meadgate Farm Shop and cafe whenever possible when I’m back home visiting family, and have only ever had great experiences. Staff are welcoming and friendly, food is fresh and delicious and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing afternoon. There’s a great range of lunch options and sweet treats - the milkshakes are a personal favourite! Be sure to check out the shop too - I filled a gift hamper with items from here which was very well received! Thanks Meadgate, I’ll be back soon :)

Meadgate is a warm, welcoming and friendly place to visit. As somebody with family in Bath whenever I am there I try to make a trip to Meadgate as there is a great selection of drinks, food and cake! The farm shop provides a great range of food as well as plants and greeting cards. The staff are friendly and attentive which adds to the already lovely atmosphere at Meadgate. If you are near Bath or in Timsbury make sure you visit this lovely café.

It’s a couple of years since I visited this lovely country cafe, shame on me, and I will definitely NOT be leaving it so long again! It has grown and matured since it first reopened in its present form, but still remains fresh and inviting. I only popped in for a sandwich which was delicious but could not resist a piece of cake from their lovely selection. The staff are as friendly and attentive as ever and with the addition of the plant nursery along with the great little shop I whiled away the afternoon in the most enjoyable and relaxing way. Thank you Meadgate! ❤️❤️

I adore this little country cafe nestled into the rural outskirts of Bath. It offers a warm homely atmosphere with a roaring log fire and comfy furniture. The food is fabulous with a varied lunch menu and daily specials but the cake does it for me everytime, there are too many to choose from! The staff are all lovely and friendly, it is family run and they make you feel so welcome. Handy that there is a little shop and plant nursery to leisurely browse too. Recommend a trip out here to anyone.

This is a very small “Farm Shop” with a café attached. Since opening a couple of years ago, they don’t seem to have moved on and up! The staff are always polite and friendly, the place is clean and tidy. The choice of meals are quite limited. I only had a few minutes to spare for lunch, so I settled for soup and a sandwich. The soup; curried cauliflower, was the worst soup I have ever tasted, anywhere! It was watery and even with the curry was so insipid, it lacked basic seasoning. For the sandwich I just fancied something that you fancy once in a blue moon. A fishfinger sandwich. I was looking forward to a lovely yellow/orange coloured fishfinger, with flaky white fish from a well known brand! What did I get, brown coloured covering, with a drab brown/grey “fish” filling. The colour white was non-existent. It was awful. This type of food should not be fed to children or anyone else.

Popped in here while the dog was at the groomers! What a find. Lovely rustic little tea room/coffee shop with super friendly staff and great attention to detail. Ended up having breakfast here, even though it was nearly lunch time. It was hot, freshly cooked and cooked to perfection. Even the tomatoes had a herby splash on them. They listened to special requests (eg crispy bacon) and helped with allergy/intolerance queries. Served with a smile and great finesse! Much appreciated. It was quite busy, but all the food and drinks looked amazing. Brekkie comes with filter coffee, and even this coffee snob found it acceptable, even pretty good. We ventured out into the adjoining nursery (bit disappointing - not many plants) and then returned for another coffee and hot chocolate and CAKE. Wow! All fantastic. There was a young toddler there, some older couples and even a dog under a table, everyone seemed very comfy and happy. Recommend highly! Well worth a visit. Great value, great food and great staff. Thank you!

The Meadgate Cafe is attached to a farm shop, It has a pleasant atmosphere with different types of furniture and good quality crockery. The menu is a bit limited but the staff are very pleasant and helpful, there is adequate parking and the cakes are lovely. For those wishing to have a three course meal with a large range of choice it is not the place to go but for a jacket potato or afternoon tea it is well worth a visit.

Sofas, armchairs, plenty of space to sit around the tables and chat in comfort, peaceful and convivial atmosphere with kind and attentive staff who are welcoming and smiling. Oh yes, and the food was first rate, with plenty of choice and care to detail for gluten free customers. This beautifully decorated café put me in mind of what I imagine Fallon's Café in The Archers looks like.

Beautiful, family-run cafe near the Jane Austen Centre in Bath. This was my FAVORITE place for tea/coffee in the three days we were in Bath. Gluten-free options were terrific--Lemon Cake!--and the walnut/chocolate cake was divine. Tea was terrific, too. Great, low key atmosphere and awesome humans working there. Will definitely be a destination next time I'm in Bath!

I know. Bath has SO MANY wonderful coffee shops…. But MUS is delightful. Immaculate seating in this intimate location, with exceptional coffee served by genuine Spanish/Colombian speakers. Sit outside or in, stroll down Widcombe’s shopping area or over the road, next to the river, all the way to picturesque Pulteney Bridge. Relax. Or meet for a business meeting that can’t fail to go well. MUS is a MUST.

Had seen this little place online lots so decided to give it a try. Managed to find a table. Ordered 2 bacon sandwiches & 2 coffees but asked for mine well done. The bacon was cremated unfortunately on both of ours which didn’t bother me but my Dad didn’t enjoy it all all. Coffee was lovely. Service a little on the slow side but there was only 1 lady working and it was reasonably busy so wasn’t a major issue. Will revisit again at some point as it is a lovely little place.
