Drove to Cardiff to get some frozen pastizzi. The price per frozen pastizzi was £1.29 each, but to buy hot ones from the counter, it was only £1.00 each. Since when is it cheaper to purchase hot food than frozen food? I spoke to the student union store and they said they had a 50% promotion for the hot ones which are normally £1.99, but this doesn't apply to the frozen ones. Now whilst I wouldn't expect the frozen ones to also be half price, I wouldn't expect to pay more than the price of the hot ones. To top it off, we got less than what we paid for, but didn't notice until we got home, but that is our own fault for not checking. I am waiting on a call back from a manager before amending my honest review.

We found Cardiff had lots of very poor cafes and restaurants, however this was an exception. Disappointingly after entering we were left to work out that this was a counter service and initially received no help from the young staff. That all changed when I ordered the carrot cake and scone with a black tea and soft drink. Both the scone and cake were very tasty. The premises was clean and the tables and chairs were appropriately arranged so that both wheelchair and persons with mobility problems would be readily accommodated. It was not clear if there were other sanitary rooms, but the disabled persons toilet was again clean and appropriately provisioned.

Shittest coffee ever Should have realised when ordering a flat white they offered small or large!! They served me in a regular cup and I cant taste the coffee it’s just a large cup of hot milk!! Meant to go next door, I would advise going next door

Nice spot in cardiff city center. Although its new place but so far it’s good and I think they will be better in the future when adding more options in their menue. Coffe was perfect. Tbe pastry was crunchy and so delicious ( chicken n mushrooms). It’s Halal food.

Very unorganised, unprofessional and rude, would not recommend going to either of these shops in Cardiff, you can get much better quality of food and service elsewhere.

Came accross this place quite by chance. I never thought I'd be able to buy fresh pastizzi in Cardiff. It was a welcome (and delicious) treat. I will definitely be going again soon.

A taste of Malta in Cardiff. So delighted when we heard of this shop in Cardiff. Although we live in Cornwall we had to travel to Cardiff for a family funeral and after a long trip this was our first stop. Lovely welcoming staff and once lock down is over it will be a lovely place to sit and enjoy their wonderful food. We have so far had the Timpana and Baked rice both of which were delicious with just the right amount of seasoning. The Nutella Pastizzi was lovely and just the right size as any larger it would have been too much. We have our freezer stocked with Pastizzi and will definitely be visiting again next time we are in Cardiff. Can’t wait for them to start postal service
