This is your average greasy chippy nothing special but you do pay a premium. The food is fine Good portions but they always mess up with salt and vinegar-doesnt matter how clearly you ask they always miss it and comes home bland. You will ask why I don't check- during covid you have to wait outside so can't. Also ordered for delivery same problem. Will try elsewhere next time as the price doesn't match what you get and it would be a change to receive salt and vinegar when you ask for it.

Usually have good food from this venue. However tonight’s fare was disappointing. The fish spot on the burgers spot on but the chips that came with them were just a soggy pulp. Can’t even blame an evening rush as I was the only customer in there. The majority of the chips were simply thrown away. There seemed to be a lot of new faces behind the counter, non of the usual staff who served what are usually perfect chips

First visit for a while and really enjoyed it, will visit again soon. Only small point was too much salt on the chips.

Been here loads as McNulty's and was amazing, since being taken over it's gradually got worse. Latest is batter on fish being overcooked and fish falling apart into a mush. Chips are nice but nothing special.

As soon as lock down lifted, fish and chip rubbish is scattered all over the area. Take. Ownership of your rubbish!

I love going here, the fish is beautiful. I personally love the chicken, so fresh and so many choices and I love that you can have it so many ways, as in, in a wrap, pitta or just on salad. Will definitely go again

Lived in Telford all my life and never been here until tonight, nice and clean inside and the staff were all smartly dressed so good first impression. I had small cod and small chips which came to £5 which is more than anywhere else in Telford I've been to. The fish was a decent size but there weren't many chips. The chips were OK nothing special and the fish was decent but there was that much salt on both it tasted like they'd been dipped in the sea. My first and last visit as there are other Chippys closer which are better imo.

This chip shop use to be good as Mcnulty's, but went here for the first time yesterday ( since it changed hands ) after being out of town for 10 months, I had a Steak Pie & Chips, and the pie was really dry & chewy like it had been reheated, and didn't taste right, so I left it, the chips were just about edible, but not great, all in all nothing tasted fresh.

my wife loves the English fish and chips so we get them here when were are here My Grand son likes the Sasuages and chips and i had the chicken and chip food is always well prepared and hot

Yes as per the last couple of reviews since this has changed hands to the "chip shop bros" it has really gone downhill......Greasy & soggy chips and a bone filled fish on our last(ever) visit last Saturday. Officially all Chipshops in Telford are now imo not worth patronising. 50 mile round trip now if I want Fish & Chips.......

This chip shop has recently changed its name to Fish & Chip Brothers and the food has really gone downhill. They used to do lovely chips but the last lot we had, we had to discard about a thirs of them as they were black and inedible. Very disappointing

Have used this chippy a few times & everytime the chips are dry& tasteless like they have been stood ages ! Possibly the smallest portion ive ever seen for a regular chips , I call at lunchtimes so i expect the chips should be fresh but are not ! Will not use again rather travel further for better quality ! Im baffled by the amazing reviews !!!

I look forward to coming here when visiting my parents. Yes fresh food means sometimes you have to wait, no biggie when it means nicer taste. The selection is good, a little bit pricey but you do get what you pay for.

The kebabs from here are excellent. The fish and chips though, are fantastic. The fish portions are really generous, and the batter is crispy and so tasty. The chips are always spot on, the helping sizes are massive. Thoroughly recommended.

Not great food from here and the shop counter was unclean, not very professional and services took ages and wasn't very hot.

I love the service and fresh cooked food from Mcnultys, it’s in every sense a proper chippy and the lines always speak for themselves.

Working at an adjacent company next to this out let get spoilt for choicce with the different dishes they do the place is spotlessly clean and staff well mannered

I went here to get some food and my mate asked for gravy but there was none. On the other hand I ordered Fish Cake and chips and the fish cake was fine however the chips were tastless, sickly and discusting and felt very sickly and horrible. I felt that the service was ok however the chips were horrible so overall I feel this was a bad experience and I will not go again so I think that this is a no for me and I feel that this food was like carboard and did not taste like proper chips. Rubbish value for money and I feel that food like that is horrific to eat.

You need to wait a little as most of the food is cooked fresh to order. Worth the wait as food is piping hot and very tasty.

Came here at 12.20 (lunchtime service)! Ques out of the door and only 1 person serving (although 3 people there), completing a phone order I think! But still, Food didn't exactly look appetising and looked as if it had been sat for a few hours! To then be told that the food had already been sold anyway! Not very good!

After getting my tikka kebab and hallumi salad which was gorgeous i just had to recommend this clean friendly professional eaterie.

I am baffled as to why I went to this chip shop for a 3rd time today ever. We waited for a ridiculous time and this time must of been about 30 minutes plus for a very standard and small fish and chips. Honestly how can they make customers wait 30 minutes for a fish and chips. I get big orders for waiting period of about that time but fish and chips seriously. I used to live by a chip shop that has won award after award and has 5 star rating on every site you can think of so you can imagine a very busy one, never in my life have I waited 30 mins for a small fish and chips and because I have experienced this all 3 times I have been there I write this review. To any of my family and friends please don't send me there again.

I brought a peri chicken mixed kebab in a naan bread fir my son.It was massive.plenty of salad and a choice of 8 sauces well worth the drive there. Lovley staff and ultra modern clean shop.

In all my years living in Telford I've sampled what must be every chip shop in town.

We all had decent fish and chips from this establishment. The fish was cooked fresh and to perfection and the chips just as they should be. Staff are polite and efficient and work like a well trained crew when busy.

Can't understand the rave reviews. The chips are decidedly average, the fish, fairly lacking in taste & below average (there's better just up the road). Portion sizes well below average due to the stupid "fashionable" boxes they serve stuff in (even had my fish bent in two!??). They could have done so much with this place, such as turning it into a proper fish & chip shop (beef dripping, good quality ingredients), instead, it's all show & they have surrendered to the kebab brigade I'm afraid. The staff are okay, that's the best I can say really. If you think this is "the best chippy in Telford" based on their frozen chicken nuggets you really need to try some other places or do as I do now and cook my own fish (banks's beer batter), and chips with real mushy peas (bet no-one remembers those), lovely :) Seriously though, there are far, far better chippies around.

having tried their peri chicken naan I'm amazed this shop isn't on the places to visit in telford. The fish and chips are cooked in fresh oil and it shows the batter is fabulous not fatty or soft perfect, the chicken kebabs are amazing too.

We use McNultys at least twice a month despite a fifteen mile drive to get there

McNultys is definitely the best in the area. We travel 5 miles to enjoy their fish and chips. The restaurant is clean, the staff are friend,y and helpful and the chips are to die for. The fish is huge and very tasty. It's good value for money What more could you ask for!

We love this chippy. Every meal we've had has been very tasty, chips are gorgeous and the nuggets are fantastic. although no beans?. The staff are very polite and friendly. Keep up the good work 😀

Proper fish and chips. Lots of choice and haven't had any cold food like previous reviews. Can only comment on our experience and that of our parents and no problems. Great value for money and portion sizes are good.

When this business opened it was really good on our first visit, on our subsequent three visits it has gradually declined.
