Rubbish! Fast food it ain’t! 20 minutes in the car park with other customers at 7.00 on Saturday night. This place wouldn’t last a week in America. Note no reaction to appalling reviews nor improvement.

Wow. You would have thought they would respond to bad reviews and try to improve. Quite clearly the franchise head isn't bothered. What happened to mystery shoppers. Waited 30mins for my order. Drove home but wrong. I shouldn't have to open it before I accept it. Food missing. To far to go back. Why it's not rocket science to read an order and load s paper bag. Avoid this place. Many complaints but no answers from management d or owners. Is this how they want to behave. This site needs urgent attention Too many staff and no leadership

Absolute joke- ordered two meals and a small bag of hallumi fries had us waiting ages. Got home for them to have missed the sauces they charged me for chips and hallumi fries. So 2 out of the 3 things I ordered didn’t come. Wouldn’t bother going here about the 8th time it’s happened to me. Not a moaner but fuming isn’t the word!

This place is an absolute joke now. So yesterday we decided to order breakfast for delivery on their app, all good, until the order came. They sent the drinks and a muffin, but forgot to put in the 2 breakfast wraps…the main part of the meal. This wasn’t UberEats fault, because the bags come sealed from the restaurant. A couple of days prior we ordered from here and collected it, got home, gave a plain big tasty even though it said to remove the tomato and onion only, and the week before they didn’t put the burger in the bag at all. Only seems to be kids working in there now having a laugh and loudly talking about the customers in the kitchen, and if you go to the drive through and order more than 2 meals you bet your money that you’ll be told to park up and wait for an age before they come out to you. Avoid this one and if you can, go to the abbey lane McDonald’s

Absolute joke of a place run by morons!! Don't deserve a 1 star! Ordered 6 meals for delivery and only delivered 2 happy meals. And all they offer us is a refund no other solution can't even pick it up!! Monies are mire intelligent

As always happens in hot weather, they had run out of McFlurries. But for the first time ever, the young man upsold me a frappe which I bought. His name was Liam and he was so pleasant. I’ve never been offered an alternative before so this young man will go far. When I got to pay, he apologised for having run out of McFlurries. A really nice guy. Thank you.

Every time I go I get sick of getting cold food given and the order being wrong, I don’t know what mongs they employ here, but they’d be better off get chimpanzees from the zoo, they’d have more about them. COLD FOOD AND WRONG ORDER!!!

Cheese was thrown on with no regard cheese was also tasted far worse than other McDonald’s didn’t give me a option. To remove sauce so we wasted £10

Great service today. Arrive around 12.15pm just as the drive through was beginning to get busy. Went into the restaurant and was served immediately. Ordered two festive meals. Milkshakes were avaliable and the staff were friendly. Everywhere was nice and clean and our meals were well cooked and very tasty. A1 service today. Left a very happy customer.

Absolutely disgusting, literally just water. 3 quatres full, how are these a deluxe hot chocolate. Wouldn't normally complain on here, but I'm fed up of this place handing out sub standard food. Plus no one is answering their phone.

I have visited this McDonald's with my two little boys most weeks on a weekday as a treat for them for roughly three years, we get the occasional hiccup but nothing major. However the experiences we have had recently is nothing less than carnage! For three weeks in a row the wait has been over 30 minutes, rest assured there will be something out of stock, whether it be coffee, mcflurry or milkshake. I really like those mozzarella sticks but I'm fed up of continuously having to return to the counter for the salsa dip, so do not bother anymore. There apoears to be no table markers and have not been for some while, I get anxious having to leave my two little boys to collect the food, which even though it will say collect on the screen my order is never there to collect. Ive witnessed the staff having arguments with the delivery drivers and when I mean arguments they are shouting loudly, another reason I leave my boys at the table. This week my eldest wanted to have the millionaires donut, I ordered it, payed for it. Went to collect it, once again out of stock. Last week really made me mad when there was no milkshake so my son had the fruit cooler which costs an extra £1.20, payed for this, when it came to collection they had run out and i was offered a soft drink, I did say to the assistant that I have paid extra for that drink but was told that if I had a coke the sugar tax would equal it out. I am aware that a large coke comes as standard with a large meal with no extra cost but could not stand there any longer leaving my two boys at the table. So I had no option but to take the soft drink. I appreciate that things go wrong, maybe someone rings in sick and it puts a strain on the rest of the team, but it's every week now it fills me with dread having to go there now, the only reason we still go is because I like to fill the car up at asda and the boys enjoy going to the pound land round the corner. Really hope you turn this around quickly, I am sure I am not the only one to feel like this

This is easily the worst McDonalds in Leicester, no doubt. I don't know why I do it to myself, its like some sort of abusive relationship where I convince myself it will be different this time... I've ordered from this place numerous times, without fail they get something wrong. 9/10 they forget the sauces, and for someone who orders at least 20 Chicken Nuggets and fairly often orders 40. I'm like REALLY?! But I let that slide, I got sauce at home its fine... The fries are somehow under cooked from time to time, despite McDonalds insanely strict cooking guidelines. Someone there still manages to f* it up.. Every now and again they will just completely forget an item or just give you what ever their employee puts their hand on first, and today they did just that. I ordered 20 Chicken Nuggets, there was no sauce and there was only 9.... I ordered a Double Quarter Pounder which they forgot entirely, maybe adding the bacon was too difficult for them? Either way, I'm complaining. This isn't an isolated experience with this place, now its just mismanagement and negligence. No amount of refund or reach around will make me satisfied, someone is paying now.

i’m fuming because they forgot my special dip with my mozzarella dippers but what is the point in them being called mozzarella dippers if there is no dip, may aswel just be called mozzarella

I went into this resturant and i asked for mein usual and they told me to i quote "Piss off you deutch bastard" all because i hailed form das fatherland. just wanted a big mac. Not happy.

So I walked in used the touch display to order, thing ripped up my ticket not the staffs fault these things happened the woman I spoke to assisted me straight away confirming my order and letting my know my number really friendly and helpful. Then I get to the table and bin my sprite I'm talking this drink went everywhere. Within a split second of me informing another member of of staff who was stood near the first helpful staff member she was there mop in hand sorting it out, I then received a new drink free of change and was able to enjoy my meal in this clean and welcoming McDonald's food for great but the service made the experience. Many thanks. Very sad I forgot to get their names. Date of visit was 20/05/22.

I unfortunately had to go to this McDonalds on a Saturday evening and it was absolutely awful I ordered was told my order was ready it was a further 15minutes before I was called I saw an opened bag on the side which was there for 5minutes only to find out it was mine and then when I picked up my order which was prepaid I was told they didn’t have any doughnuts when I asked for a refund was practically told no I left but my food was cold, service rubbish, waiting time awful and cold food as-well as the fact paid for something that I didn’t get and refund refused

Terrible customer service. My partner waited an hour in the drive-thru, she didn't mind this as she thought the food would be fresh and hot with it being soo busy! Finally gets our food and it's cold after a few minutes drive. So I called mcdonalds to complain and said I would like a replacement, where the manager had the cheek to offer me half of what we ordered. I demanded a full replacement and she said OK. Go back to mcdonalds a few days later as I couldn't recollect the same night as I had work. Get there to be told they'd only replace the one meal. This was annoying and I didn't want them to have my custom. Demanded a full refund I'll eat elsewhere thankyou very much! Mcdonalds is getting worse by the day. At this same branch they sit the food for deliveries on cold racking as shown in picture. Meridian mcdonalds in Leicester is a complete and utter joke they should be ashamed. Poor service!!!

We were in a rush to get somewhere so stopped off at this restraint. The drive through was rammed, so we went into the establishment and got served really quickly! Food was hot and staff polite.

I got home and my burger had no beef in it... It was just bun, lettuce and bacon... Too far for me to bother going back so just disappointed.

Always no McFlurrys. I don’t recommend going here. I purposely travelled here for a McFlurrys and didn’t get one. Is this abuse to my gender? If so my business meeting was cancelled because of this so I lost bare money and now I can’t buy...

More oil in our burgers than BP could handle...terrible service. All three burgers were completely covered in oil, and the serving people were all quite rude. Never had such an experience in a McDonald’s. Don’t bother going.

Busy, fast, food OK, and to be fair service was quite friendly, but as always what gets delivered in the box never seems to match the photos on the menu.

Hard to write a lot as this is typical of the chain and absolutely fine for what it is. It was very busy but service was polite and quick.

If you want dirty tables, slow miserable service, cold food, staff who just roll their eyes at you, at least a 15min wait even when they are practically empty, under cooked food and loads of staff just standing there looking at your food whilst it...

We stopped off here during our journey for a coffee. It is located just off the main road in a retail park with off street parking. Service was good and everything looked clean and tidy when we visited. Coffee was excellent and good value too.

If you don't mind mixed up orders, long waits, un-trained staff, food left on tables, then you'll enjoy this McDonald's, if not then give it a wide berth.

Every time we have come here, for the drive through we get asked to “park up” even when they aren’t busy.

As a sales rep I travel around the country and visit many McDonald’s mainly for coffees on the go and in the main get good service but unfortunately this one is pretty awful. The attitude of the drive through staff on my visit tonight was appalling. Order was taken incorrectly by a male member of staff who quite honestly couldn’t seem to get anything right. I read my order on the drive through screen, which was correct, went to pay and given no receipt, which I didn’t question at the time. Went to collect order and mentioned to another “can’t be bothered” member of staff that a milkshake was missing. He asked for a copy of my receipt which I explained I hadn’t been given so he got a copy and told me there wasn’t one ordered and “I could take a look at the receipt if I wanted to”. I was so annoyed with his attitude I just drove away but will never return. What a shame that it seems the dregs of staff seemed to be on shift tonight but McDonalds as a brand should make sure staff serving in all their restaurants are consistent. It doesn’t cost anything to be polite to your customers. I had my two children in the car with me tonight and they were shocked at the complete lack of respect and rudeness. I’d rather go somewhere else and pay slightly more that settle for this!!

This place has gone downhill badly. The number of times they get the order wrong on the drive through is disgraceful, the staff have a couldn't care less attitude a lot of the time, and they regularly run out of certain lines.

I like McD's, but in reality it's never going to be more than 3/5 rating as it's not haute cuisine, but it serves a purpose. Thurmaston has now been through the refurbishment to provide self-order. It doesn't have loads of seating - I tend to avoid the slow drive-through, then take food back out to my car and eat like a loner. You can't beat the slightly greasy steam on the inside of the windscreen created by eating takeaway food in the driver's seat. Chicken select is my order of choice - it is very standardised so the only variation I tend to find is how warm the chips are. They were hot from Thurmaston, which was good.

Visited mid afternoon in a non busy time. They've been shut for a total refurbishment but it's got worse not better. I don't know who the planners are but they need to use the facilities to see how badly they are planned. Well good start you think at drive through as 2 smart lines take you're order and you pull forward. Just round the corner is the same long slow queue not much point in improving order system if the infrastructure doesn't support it. Long slow creep to the first window. Girl leaning against the wall taking orders on a head set quite clearly bored by her body language and one taking money. Pay and halt no movement. Several minutes later reach 2nd window. Surprise food not ready asked to park " somewhere in the carpark" asked how long it would be and told " when it's ready". You don't want to complain incase they mess with your food. Pull in what I thought was part of the queue but it's a car a 3rd window waiting. No sign to say pull round him or which way to go. Not sure how far to go in the carpark so park in nearest space oh it's disabled. Some 5 minutes later food arrived. I made comments about this new system as I feel it's unacceptable for customers. Shrug of shoulders and she walks away. I would not recommend this place there are others nearby with better service and organisation.

Have visited this macdonalds lots of times & never had any issues but popped in on thurs about 7.30pm & the customer service was so poor felt It needed a review , the lady serving defo needs a course in customer service , no smile , no greeting , no manners , glared at me & my sons girlfriend lokr we had done something wrong , said "what drink ?" Really Sharply , infact I think that was the only time she spoke ! we both felt so uncomfortable , we just wanted to get out as quick as possible , I know this is macdonalds and not a nice restaurant but simple hello / thank u / smile would of made all the difference & I wouldn't be writing a review , please have a word it was just so bad , has actually put me off goin there again will use Loughborough ....

I'm no fan of fast food, including MacDonald's, but the grandchildren wanted to go, so I gave in and took them. It was what I feared, the tackier side of life, but the youngsters enjoyed themselves.

So we all like the convenience of McDonalds & this branch is well sited on my route to watch Leicester City home games. Love the great service ethos at McD but I wanted to put a couple of things on record. Firstly how McD think their burgers are of any quality is totally beyond me. The meat patty inside the Big Mac could hardly be thinner its like eating something you washed the sink out with. Absolutely bottom grade. And a rip off for the price they charge. However, by contrast, I am a big fan of the McFlurry dessert. The toppings are foul and taste like something swept off the floor but the pure ice cream is a delight.

The food hits the spot. Quick takeaway to grab. In a good location in Thurmaston shopping bit. I live the wrap meal & fish-o-fillet burger

Over salted chips, poor service, overall poor experience, food was cold, burgers were put together by a blind person, I kid you not

I sat having my lunch in a booth and I had literally just finished my last bite, not yet to have a drink when a woman, her child and grandmother asked me if I was leaving soon as her child wanted my seat! I said I was leaving shortly, so they sat and stared at me, making me feel very uncomfortable. Then a staff member came and asked if I'd move as a lady wanted to sit with her baby, but the woman waiting said "I've already reserved it!!!".

love going here nice staff , always clean and tidy been coming here years and never had one bad report
