my wife and I visited today enjoyed our meals although it was'nt as hot as we would have like it.the service though was excellent from Laicey a very pleasant ,good natured young member of your a real asset too Macdonalds

Food was ok, not the best McDonald's I've ever been to, somehow their milkshake machine seems to be out of order a lot.

Waiting 20 minutes for food, when it didn’t look particularly busy. Counted at least 3 uber eats drivers arrive after me and leave before with their food. Unfortunately that’s become the problem with most of these stores, they’ve lost touch with people actually visiting because of the pressure of online delivery apps. When my number did eventually arrive, there was no “sorry for the wait”, in fact nothing was said apart from the number, not even enjoy your meal.

Ok staff weren’t happy gave off bad first impression don’t know why managers and staff all looked upset no smiles even the service wasn’t good.

Avoid at all cost, you will end up with delibelly from the temperature being at the right temperature for breeding bacteria.

This is a bad McDonald's. We keep saying we'll never come back, but do out of convenience. We regret it every time. Very slow service, half-arsed food (meagre portions, very little sauce etc). It's just bad 🤷 I mean, McDonald's is what it is, but this is a step or two below average.

Spent 25 minutes waiting to then be told they don’t have enough stack meat. Better communication needed with grill and more urgency from front. The double quarter which was made after 25 mins was pretty quick but had 1.5 quarter rather than 2.

Usual mcdonalds. No gluten free options . Just snack food Just wish they would put some effort into catering for people with illness. But it's to much like hard work. Glad subway wasn't far away they do great food and a gluten free bagget. Yum

Never have sauces when takeaway is ordered and recently been getting strawberry milkshake mixed with my banana milkshake, is it that hard to do your job and get an order right

Twice tried to order food for delivery, with estimated time of 15-30 minutes. Both times it took 2 hours and turned up ice cold. Unbelievably bad.

It’s a maccies, fairly clean and service was good

Food came with chips barley warm but no serviettes, salt, straws, cutlery for salad and waitress was gone before we could call her back. I went to the counter to get aforementioned dining paraphernalia which took a while because while waiting for cutlery I found both tanks of ketchup as well as serviette dispenser AND salt sachet pot were empty. By the time I got back my chips were cold and so was my big tasty, it's taste soured further as my wife told me the veg bag was missing from the (not so) happy meal box -her turn this time to visit the counter. We've eaten here too many times and you expect them to give you a toy instead of a book in happy meal and vice versa and miss a thing or two off the tray but it all combined last night together with an almost complete lack of contrition from the team. Worst thing for me was the cold food -my burger must have been cold when it arrived although I wasn't there to taste it as previously explained. It wasn't as if the place was packed -far from it. Not anymore, Shelthorpe McDonald's.

put egg on my breakfast roll and i can't have egg as it makes my throat close up we will never be coming back after this awful experience 0/10 recommend staff was being grumpy as well and refused to give me my order with no egg.

Visited 8.00pm 20 Nov. It was appalling. 20 minute wait for takeaway. Indifferent and disengage staff. Takeaway served on a tray and literally tipped in to a bag when I pointed out the error. Food was cold and went straight in the bin. Truly awful experience. I pity anyone who had ordered delivery from this place, highly likely to be a congealed mess by the time it arrived - mine was, and I just walked to the car park! Absolutely not recommended.

Ordered on self service station. No receipts! Very slow service. Food thrown in bag. Fries in bag more than carton. Triple cheeseburger crushed at bottom of bag under quarter pounder and fillet o fish. No flavour in banana shake. All in all one word description for entire experience CRAP!

Good McDonald's, though not alot of space for wheelchairs when it's busy

Always seems to take ages to get food even when it's not too busy, seems to be common in most of the restaurants though. Staff always seem friendly though.

Appalling food, McRibs with barely any sauce or toppings see pictures and compare to the in app picture. They put the them on their side in the bag so the toppings would have fallen out if there was any. Fries were cold and chewy, despite the restaurant being busy they were not fresh. Wrong thick shake, ordered Banana got Vanilla I don’t go to macdonalds often and always regret it after wards. Had a breakfast delivery took 1 hour to arrive cold, 3 missing items. As usual slow and inaccurate service. I hate going into this place, just full of delivery drivers hogging the counter trying collect orders and being ignored by the rude staff. This is why I used the delivery service, but that is not much better. Can’t get delivery from Warwick Way due to distance or I would go there instead. I can see why my delivery order was late, they give no priority to the delivery drivers or walk in customers. It’s all about the drive thru. Do McDonalds management teach their staff how to ignore customers? It looks like a case of lead by bad example, as the managers in the white shirts are the rudest! This McDonald’s if full of sad faced customers who are just made to wait for inexplicably long times. Maybe the owner of this franchise should just take a moment and look at the experience from a customers point of view, your staff need to learn about internal and external customers, as they way they speak to each other is also appalling. I have been into much busier McDonald’s and received 100x better services, much faster and with big smiles. So you can’t even use “We are busy” as an excuse. This McDonald’s is broken, and needs fixing ASAP.

Asked for no Big Mac sauce as I can’t eat mustard. Opened the burger when I got home to find Big Mac sauce on my burger. How hard is it to read things of a sheet of paper? Never known an easier job and people still getting it wrong

Breakfast sausage and egg was cold and raw was still pink and the egg had shells still the bacon again was hardly cooked and like it came direct out the bacon pack straight into a mcmuffin! was disgusting!

Had a quick stop here in the Loughborough branch and the quality of service was excellent and the cleanness in the toilets is the best I seen in any McDonald's I been to. The food were excellent and really fresh tasting and quite spacious inside this branch. I recommend coming here.

Slow service as they to busy serving the drive through so customers in macdonalds are made to wait longer which is unfair

Everybody handles food with no gloves there was food and rubbish on the floor under were the food prep is being done in the kitchen part. Once the food is either bagged or and wrapped it's tossed into the front ready for packing and sometimes just chucked as though it's going in the bin !!! That's people's food often children's !

Quick good quality and HOT food unlike alot of mcdys now days, one problem was manager belittling staff at one point in ear shot of everyone . Bit awkward !

Open til 12am but really they close at 10pm so you cant collect your food when youve ordered.. joke

The curse of the most unreliable branch strikes again. Arrived 25 minutes before stated closing time and bam, closed. Is there a reason for the branch being closed nearly half an hour early? This happens regularly, it is not a one off.

I always seem to catch this McDonalds at good times (either really early or really late) where there aren't many other customers. There have been occasions where I have had to wait an awfully long time though these are rare, usually it is okay.

SCAMMERS! Dropped to one star. Pathetic. Keep forgetting items on our order. The receipt very clearly states 4 items that are required for the drink holders, how do you miss it only has 1?! Can only think its intentional because I cannot comprehend how anyone could make that mistake.

Food took ages to be served. No milkshakes again which seems to be at the majority of MacDonalds. No pots for the self service sauces and bins overflowing.

I have been using this McDonald's for years but its slow going down, very long wait for food I was 50 minutes one Saturday with my 3 kids not great at all. Getting wrong food and missing items, every time just lately & the food looks like 5 year kid as made it. When you come to this restaurant 1st thing in morning it not clean at all....still food on flood and tables from the day before not great to see.

We ordered 2 meals, and they got one of the drinks wrong. and missed the dips off. Chips and burgers were loop warm at best.

Counter service is pretty much non-existent these days with only one till and only covered by staff when they aren't busy doing something else. The shake machine is frequently not working which is frustrating as it's pretty much the only reason I go to McDonald's at all.

Well only went as we had our grandson with us or we would of gave it a miss . Either my hands have got bigger or the foods getting smaller 🤷‍♂️but it’s still tasteless food . What happy to the’ “ Guaranteed food in 4 minutes “ no waiting ? Ha well that’s certainly gone out the window , they are to busy taking peoples orders and money and no time for the customer !

This site is terrible, rarely get order correct first time and always having to go back or report items missing This time bits of burger missing, items placed in boxes upside down and nuggets squashed in the box lid Will be going to alternate one from now on

Item missing from order at drive thru. Discovered when some distance away. Rang restaurant, no apology, no solution except to return and get order fulfilled. How about getting it right first time!

Ordered it on Just Eat. Cucumber and ketchup in a kids hamburger when we asked for no pickle or ketchup, no lid on one of drinks so bag soaking wet and bag broke, drinks went all over floor. Big Mac looked as if a toddler made it. No lettuce in Big Mac, but all in the container. Burger sauce everywhere. (Not sure whether this was just eat, but the drinks were definitely at the fault of McDonald’s as no lid on one of drinks).

Constantly receive the incorrect orders at this specific branch, the other restaurants never seem to have this issue. No straws and dips given despite ordering

It's fine, but as usual with McDonald's, don't expect the ice cream machine to be working when you come here.

Absolutely disgusting manger with tattoos shouting at staff. Ordered 2 kids meals waited 30 mins. One came out with wrong drink and the other came out without chips. Think head office needs to look at Management skills. Not the only one giving a bad review look at the other peoples reviews

For the past 2 weeks or so,have been unable to order any Mcflurrys or Milkshakes,via my App or independently. This happens regularly @ Park Rd Shelthorpe Maccy D's. Seems that they are letting products run out,then reordering,instead of taking time to work out in advance,and re-ordering,to prevent any inconvenience to their customers. This is clearly bad management,& needs to be rectified immediately.

Cozy branch. Nothing special when talking about the food in McDonald's, but the atmosphere and seatings and parking facilities can make a difference. This is a good one overall. 👍

Slow service, unless you use the drive through. Eating in, you have to wait with all the online delivery orders - takes 5 to 10mins !

Food was good but staff were rude and the atmosphere is weird. One of the girls was crying in the kitchen when we went in and there was someone dressed up as Mr Tumble in there for some reason who was also rude. Not the first time staff have been rude here as it’s happened to me on drive thru

Go to McDonald's in the area, on most visits this McDonald's is good, fast service, hot food decent atmosphere and efficient staff

Only had Mcflurry's, very poor amount of toppings and only a small amount of ice cream!! Used to fill the cup, now it's barely half!

Clean and tidy, some staff members go above and beyond, but why are all the others gathered around the kitchen/service area? While people are waiting to be served, let alone acknowledged.... It's McDonald's, you know what you are getting.
