Very slow service and cold food

Milk shake machine not working yet again

Muffin burnt and cold waiting for egg to come for 10 minutes.

Love this McDonalds a bit too much.

Counter service is pretty much non-existent these days with only one till and only covered by staff when they aren't busy doing something else. The shake machine is frequently not working which is frustrating as it's pretty much the only reason I go to McDonald's at all.

Used the drive through for a cup of coffee straight in and out......

Well... 4 stars is certainly too high for a McDonald's. 3.7 is fair. Not the worst McDonald's in the UK.

Ate in. Very slow service for just a bog standard big mac meal. Screen to show orders not working. Ketchup and BBQ dispensers both broken :Z

Well only went as we had our grandson with us or we would of gave it a miss . Either my hands have got bigger or the foods getting smaller 🤷‍♂️but it’s still tasteless food . What happy to the’ “ Guaranteed food in 4 minutes “ no waiting ? Ha well that’s certainly gone out the window , they are to busy taking peoples orders and money and no time for the customer !

This site is terrible, rarely get order correct first time and always having to go back or report items missing This time bits of burger missing, items placed in boxes upside down and nuggets squashed in the box lid Will be going to alternate one from now on

Item missing from order at drive thru. Discovered when some distance away. Rang restaurant, no apology, no solution except to return and get order fulfilled. How about getting it right first time!

Staff are friendly but the food I had the other day was probably the worst I've had from any macdonald's, x2 double cheese burgers looked like someone had worn them as slippers and then sat on them and my fries were like slippery miniature eels. God awful.

Ordered it on Just Eat. Cucumber and ketchup in a kids hamburger when we asked for no pickle or ketchup, no lid on one of drinks so bag soaking wet and bag broke, drinks went all over floor. Big Mac looked as if a toddler made it. No lettuce in Big Mac, but all in the container. Burger sauce everywhere. (Not sure whether this was just eat, but the drinks were definitely at the fault of McDonald’s as no lid on one of drinks).

It's fine, but as usual with McDonald's, don't expect the ice cream machine to be working when you come here.

Constantly receive the incorrect orders at this specific branch, the other restaurants never seem to have this issue. No straws and dips given despite ordering

Absolutely disgusting manger with tattoos shouting at staff. Ordered 2 kids meals waited 30 mins. One came out with wrong drink and the other came out without chips. Think head office needs to look at Management skills. Not the only one giving a bad review look at the other peoples reviews

For the past 2 weeks or so,have been unable to order any Mcflurrys or Milkshakes,via my App or independently. This happens regularly @ Park Rd Shelthorpe Maccy D's. Seems that they are letting products run out,then reordering,instead of taking time to work out in advance,and re-ordering,to prevent any inconvenience to their customers. This is clearly bad management,& needs to be rectified immediately.

Cozy branch. Nothing special when talking about the food in McDonald's, but the atmosphere and seatings and parking facilities can make a difference. This is a good one overall. 👍

Slow service, unless you use the drive through. Eating in, you have to wait with all the online delivery orders - takes 5 to 10mins !

Food was good but staff were rude and the atmosphere is weird. One of the girls was crying in the kitchen when we went in and there was someone dressed up as Mr Tumble in there for some reason who was also rude. Not the first time staff have been rude here as it’s happened to me on drive thru

Go to McDonald's in the area, on most visits this McDonald's is good, fast service, hot food decent atmosphere and efficient staff

Clean and tidy, some staff members go above and beyond, but why are all the others gathered around the kitchen/service area? While people are waiting to be served, let alone acknowledged.... It's McDonald's, you know what you are getting.

Had a breakfast delivery took 1 hour to arrive cold, 3 missing items. As usual slow and inaccurate service. I hate going into this place, just full of delivery drivers hogging the counter trying collect orders and being ignored by the rude staff. This is why I used the delivery service, but that is not much better. Can’t get delivery from Warwick Way due to distance or I would go there instead. I can see why my delivery order was late, they give no priority to the delivery drivers or walk in customers. It’s all about the drive thru. Do McDonalds management teach their staff how to ignore customers? It looks like a case of lead by bad example, as the managers in the white shirts are the rudest! This McDonald’s if full of sad faced customers who are just made to wait for inexplicably long times. Maybe the owner of this franchise should just take a moment and look at the experience from a customers point of view, your staff need to learn about internal and external customers, as they way they speak to each other is also appalling. I have been into much busier McDonald’s and received 100x better services, much faster and with big smiles. So you can’t even use “We are busy” as an excuse. This McDonald’s is broken, and needs fixing ASAP.

Girl on the drive through was very unhappy with something she used no manners and was short and sharp with her communication

Ordered large big Mac meal and 2 happy meals through the drive through, asked for ketchup. Went home no sauces after being told they were in the bag. Also the large chips were only half full. Just been again 3 year's later and it's got even worse been waiting for 25 minutes. I still say this is the worst Macdonald's I have ever

We ordered on the app thinking it would be quicker, and we waited 30 mins before our order came up on the board and another 15 before we got it.. would have been quicker to go to the chip shop over the road.

I'm really disappointed with their caramel latte, cold, no topping.. it did get replaced, but not the drink for me!!

One of the worst McDonalds franchises. Regularly get orders wrong. List their opening times wrong on the McDonalds website and app. Usually waiting ages at the drive through for a simple order like a big mac meal.

What a joke! I don’t know if it’s you or the Uber driver supposedly delivering my food eating it or just not making it. Yet I get charged and told to wait a maximum 15 days for a refund that’s not guaranteed. First time I ordered forgot my fries this time forgot my philly cheese steak I think someone is having a laugh. It’s a joke from both sides McDonald’s say it’s Uber and Uber say it’s McDonald’s and your supposed to be respectable companies absolute laughable. Yet no option of sending out another burger or fries to remedy the situation in both situations first time we just accepted it like fools this time I feel being charged £5 for a burger I don’t get is shocking.

Excellent service and great food excellent variety

Regularly the worst service from any McDonald’s. Drive thru is a waste of time whether you use the app or not. Service desk inside is no better. Food is never available so you always have to wait, even for basic menu items. Orders consistently wrong yet, always against your favour. Items always missing. It’s out of pure convenience I end up using this although I try and avoid. If you can use another I strongly suggest you do.

Expect a wait for your fast food when the staff changeover at 2pm - not just this one, they all do it. Coffee is still worth waiting for.

Ordered on the app and elected to have the food delivered to the table but it took an absolute age. Very friendly staff just not as organised as you would expect from a Maccies. A clean and tidy place albeit a bit chilly.

Nicely refurbed with touchscreen ordering inside. Busy but not too full, drive through had a long queue and can often extend into the main road causing chaos around the park road roundabout.

It's a Mcdonald the food isn't very hot most of the time and the drive through is what it is. We use it for convenience and my pregnant daughter loves it at the time. On the mc flurry the chocolate bits in them is getting less and less.

Plenty of parking. The place was nice and clean. The men's WC was really clean in comparison to some other McDonald's. The staff member lady taking care of the customer area was very attentive to her work, keeping on top of clearing the tables etc. Apart from not serving milkshakes, today was a good experience at this site.

Once again no milkshakes at McDonald's in Shelthorpe! I came about a week ago and no milkshakes then either. Come on McDonalds, service is always good and the queue goes down really fast! Just the lack of milkshakes letting your review score down.

Went to the drive thru and they messed my order up so had to drive back and sort missing items which they did with good service and an apology. Check your food order before you drive away!

A good place to stop for good yummy food when out in town and wanting somewhere to eat. Also it is a lot better when the upstairs is open as there are additional seats, ordering machines and toilets to use. I have also never had an issue with the staff and they are usually helpful and nice

Staff are so rude to the drivers

As i was here before opening time i awaited for 6am with no clear indication that the drive through was closed i saw a cleaner outside so I said excuse me and was instantly shut down with a rude what and a whole load of rude slang like so what i didn't test the food but i will not be coming here again. I only was going to ask why is the drive through shut.

Staff are impolite,I love the food. One of the staff was so rude to the delivery driver end of the day they are also customers picking up and dropping the food they should show more respect to them.

Ordered a happy meal, got home and it's an empty packet instead of nuggets, and a kid in tears.

Avoidable frustration. Not for the first time I just queued in the drive through to be told when I got to the order point "sorry no McFlurrys at the moment", which is all I wanted. I then had to proceed forwards through the one way drive through system just to leave. All in all about 20 minutes of my life wasted when it could have been completely avoided by simply putting a sign up before you have to enter the drive through saying "sorry no McFlurrys at present". The same happened last year at this store and having given the same feedback then I was told it would be passed to a manager. Either the feedback want passed on or the manager doesn't feel it's an issue. Where is the care and customer service here? Crazy. So simple a solution to avoid unhappy customers. Please do it.

Very clean, fantastic service and the food was hot and fresh.

We use this regularly and often we get home after collecting a drive through to find items missing. You can’t ring them so you have to go back, leaving your other food to get cold. Staff seem more bothered chatting to each other than concentrating on the orders.

Only buy latte to be honest but the staff are generally helpful and friendly.

Normally love this chain but went to loughbrough only to be served out of turn. The staff were all chatting no info about why I was sat at the window for over 2 mins whilst they were talking and having fun. I was in a rush to take food to the hospital so was disappointed today. Come on you guys wheres the customer service.

Order was wrong. Store manager didn't care. Requested a call back and I'm still waiting a week later. Bring back old school service levels where the stores actually cared about the customers.

Slow service cold food. Wrong order

Although most McDonald's are the same this one was easily the friendliest, staff members were helpful with the group of elderly residents I took in for a cuppa and a burger. One person who stood out was a young man called James, he interacted with us as a group and even gave them balloons at the end of their visit which brought them a lot of smiles, thank you for making this visit a special one for them

Staff are friendly. There is sometimes a long wait at busy times. We have had times when we have had takeaway where there are missing items or the quality of the food is poor. Generally though it is ok.
