McDonald's - Sittingbourne Retail Park in Swale

Can I just say a huge thank you to Ellie and Kat for helping my granddaughter today when she was poorly in the restaurant.They were very caring and kind.

Every time I have been here in the drive through about 6 times in a Row, I have had to park and wait when it’s not even very busy. Actually the other day I had to wait and it was dead. Also 5 times in a short space of time my partner has come home with food and there is things missing. Also happened to me on plenty of occasions and I have had had to go around the drive through. Terrible service. You don’t get any of this at Swale way Mc Donalds! This one princess park is terrible! And there so rude when they tell you to park up as if you being told off by a teacher the way they tell you. Have some more manors when you’re getting a customer to park up over a burger and drink.

The staff are incredibly rude and miserable. I was ordering at the drive through and i asked for the mix and match and the lady rudely said ‘yes what’. I was polite and carried on ordering. I then drove to the pickup window, i asked for sauce, she said yes and just stood there. My overall experience was terrible and will not be going back.

There service is rubbish they forgot our chicken nuggets I love my chicken nuggets do not come here if you do check your order

Went through drive through at 6:00pm and the lady who was serving us was very rude!! We asked for our food to be cooked fresh as we usually do. The lady who served us says “no you’re get it how it is” my partner then refused and she goes “oh yeah whatever I’ll ask”!!! Very poor customer service!! I then asked the lady to get a manger, she then proceeded to get the manager and I explained to him what happened and he did nothing. Awful customer service and rude staff including management!!!

Never in my life when going to a mc donalds have I been questioned about my order over what I have to see if I can have an extra ketchup . Ordered a sausage muffin meal . When was given 1 ketchup and asked if I could have one more I was questioned on how many hash browns I had . I'm sorry but what does that have to do with it some people like ketchup in there burger shocking poor customer service

It may not be fine dining, but it is consistent, clean and without questions appears well run and operated. It is a shame the man that owns most of these Kent outlets, does not take over the KFC and show them how to do it PROFESSIONALLY. With this outlet you KNOW what you are going to get, and it is always exactly as you expect.

Absolutely appalled by the security guard on Saturday the 8th of October. I visited with 2 friends and the security guard asked if had ordered enough food. Now 3 larger ladies stopping in for a bite to eat whilst out on a night out, we sat down waiting for the food. Having a laugh and a giggle he approached and asked if I had ordered food, I replied with yes thank you and he then asked if I ordered enough. He then walked away and returned whilst our food had been placed on the table, he then proceeded to ask me if I had enough as it seemed I didn’t have enough food for myself. I said yes thank you, and that I had only ordered a burger and chips. All this was aimed at myself who was the larger lady of the group. Absolutely appalled, disgusted and definitely lack of confidence from someone who doesn’t know my situation with medical reasons and suffering with anxiety along with other health issues.

This McDonalds has always been my favourite and in my opinion was the best in Kent but after the invention of Just Eat and Uber Eats it has become quite possibly the worst; it seems that delivery orders take priority over those of everyone else and that chaos reigns. The staff as always are absolutely brilliant but they are working in total chaos and the whole experience of eating in or having a takeaway is now an experience to miss and the odds of getting an order right is on par with the odds of winning the lottery. To add to the misery, when visiting this restaurant you first have to negotiate the scores of feral children that try with all their might to intimidate both the dinners and the staff This place that was once a good choice for a family meal is now a place to miss unless of course you want your child to learn the words f*** or c***.

Good food most of the time but it seems to be when it’s busy they can’t cope had Big Macs the other day when I got home completely cold

click and collect points fully parked with delivery guys , waited 10 mins had no option just go inside restaurant to collect the food. why delivery guys taking parking of customers? totally disgusting!

Popped here for a coffee whilst shopping in the nearby retail park. Ordering was a bit chaotic with all the Uber eats delivery drivers inside. But we managed to get our coffee and sit down for a bit for a well earned rest

eat in is normally very good, take away is very poor. today as i ate in an employee was on her break sitting next to me over the aisle when she sneezed into her hand. most people in this instant would probably go and wash but she stayed seated and wiped her hands on the table, her clothes, her hair, just about everything close to her. when her break was over i watched her walk pass the toilets and straight back into the kitchen. this young lady with a mauve tie in her hair needs a serious chat about hygiene in this time of covid.

Live fairly local and used online app to order meal for Euro 2020 match. The store basically got all of our order wrong (I'm talking 4-5 items), and there was no way to contact them - they were not answering the phone. Also, it was cold, not warm, actually cold, so the food they did get right tasted disgusting. McDonalds is usually quite dependable, but this one is clearly poorly managed - stay clear.

Cold fries , no onion in cheeseburger, staff come across like they would rather be anywhere else ! Be better off driving to Bobbing one !!

The restaurant has good food but the charger plug sockets don’t work the WiFi don’t work the staff ain’t polite the food is stone cold the drinks are flat it’s disgusting the toilets smell n are disgusting wouldn’t recommend taking your children here

Just went through the drive through and ordered a single cheeseburger 🍔, after waiting at the window a few minutes I was asked to go and park up to wait for it. I can see through the window 4 staff laughing, joking and hugging each other . Quite an entertaining 10 minutes wait and quite a joke of an excuse for a so called fast food place.

McDonalds is McDonald’s. You know what you are getting. Easy to order, food freshly cooked. The only thing that annoys me about McDonalds (including this branch) is the recent refresh of interior design has meant during busy times with a family it is hard to find somewhere to sit. While the new layout caters for “coffee drinkers” it has removed table real space and can be frustrating waiting to pounce on a table with a tray of cold food and kids in tow.

My daughter visited tonight and has spent rest of night being sick after eating there chicken nuggets my partner a few weeks ago was the same after eating there big Mac avoid this place there half cooking food

Pop in really busy ordered via machines with table delivery considering how busy fairly quickly it was delivered to table was hot and tasty grandkids given a ballooon nice touch.

Placed an order at the counter but noticed the customer assistant had cut herself But rather then get first aid, report this, get cover she continued to serve taking orders and money THEN walks over to the food area to prepare and package the orders all the time her uncovered bloody hand is leaving a trail behind. I reported it and they made me feel like I was in the wrong. Would never use again and certainly wouldn’t recommend. Terrible hygiene standards.

Most of the staff are friendly and helpful but the food is always cold and actually tastes awful, I would avoid.

Normally find this branch clean and tidy, lovely staffing ladies on the restaurant floor really helpful and always happy. Shame drive through normally ends up a bit wrong, just check your order before driving off

We called in for lunch and were very impressed with both the food and the service. The restaurant has been refurbished recently and was spotlessly clean. Full marks to the team for the standard achieved.

I had came home from work one day and the chicken nuggets I had ordered only had 19 nuggets I phoned them up the next day and the service was great I think I want to f the crap out of my nuggets now goodbye

Order two meals both large, melts and nuggets. Fries were large but they didn't fill them up. They were filled up half way ? Won't be going back.

We popped in for breakfast and found this restaurant to be clean, and the staff where spot on we ordered our food from the screen type in our location and got our meals delivered via table service and the staff where extremely tentative and asked if we needed any sauces or anything further with our meals. This is a well run McD's and will be using again

Asked for a grilled chicken salad, instead they gave me a crispy chicken & bacon salad, and then asked for rich tomato dip yet they gave me balsamic vinegar which I’m allergic to. Brother ordered 5 select meal, only gave him 3.

Superb visit to the newly refurbished Mcdonald's in Sittingbourne retail park,easy use of ordering stations,nice decor, and swift service,a good experience for myself and my Grand Daughter

Este lugar han sido reformadas recientemente, así que estaba muy limpia y tenía todo el nuevo. Había mucha gente, pero el servicio era excelente, mucho mejor que muchos otros Mc Donald's que he visitado. La comida estaba caliente y fresco, así que todo bien aquí.

Went here for takeaway service today.service was terrible the server was so busy chatting to someone else while meant to be serving me that half or my order was missing.rang to complain and am now expected to go back to collect the missing stuff.I spent almost £40 there today.am not happy at all.

This has to be 1 of the worst McDonald's that my family and I have used we used the drive through section of it after ordering out meals we were told to park up and it would be taken out to us which was fine. We waited 10 mins before it was brought out to us even then they couldn't get it right so went in to complain that our order had no fries with it at all and wrong drinks would definitely not recommend to use this restaurant would recommend that they get better staff or at least ones that can take orders properly

Been in this Mcs a few times recently, received good fresh food, but the queues are usually long and the main complaint from those in the queues is, this is not fast food.

Tuvimos una gran comida en el Sittingbourne Mcdonalds. Lugares estaba muy limpio y la comida era rápida y fue fabuloso.

Awfully stating above, went in after waiting,, everyone looked at each other, no one had a clue, too much shouting, no control, supervision, toilets,, dirty, smell,, my 4 year old wouldn't go, never again

This has got to be the worst McDonald's we have been too. The food presentation was terrible the burgers looked like they had been just slapped together the tables were dirty staff would probably improve it a bit if they smiled a bit the toilets we a disgrace won't be going here again

This has to be one of the worst fast food outlets around. Being made to wait with staff walking past seemingly oblivious to customers waiting and mistakes with even the simplist orders it's not a great example of the brand.

The food is tasty, cooked well and served hot! The staff work hard and fast, they should get more recognition. The people at the tills are friendly and look like they enjoy there jobs!

Great food and always hot. Great service fast and attentive. Clean even at busy times. Much better than sheerness

Came for a quick visit at lunchtime at drive thru we asked for 2 plain hamburgers and they charged us for three didn't realise till we had left the drive thru. The people that served us at the pay point were quite rude. When we got home and tucked into our McDonald's we came across in one of the three hamburgers a dirty food sticker left inside the burger!! Was not very happy!

Staff nice and friendly and very clean considering its a mcdonalds. Drive thru was very quick and staff attentive.

I visited at lunch time thankfully for once the place was not packed. The service was good, I was invited to take a seat and my order was delivered in good time. The burger was well cooked as were the fries, no complaints at all. There were staff keeping the place clean and they seemed happy in their work
