Service was quick today, but it can be slow at peak times

Thinking of writing to the manager to complain. As a nation we're used to cold bland food from McDonalds, we're not used to the food being hot, fresh and tasty. Best Maccys I've had in tears, well done Sandbach.

I had couple of issue, eg. hamburger had hardly anything in it other then patty. (onion, pickles, ketchup) I bought the chocolate pie, got the apple one which is cheaper, because the didnt had the chocolate one.

Standard McDonald's food in a service station setting. Table service was quick and correct (including customisations of aomw items). Food was hot. Can't complain.

A fairly typical McDonald's outlet on a busy motorway service station. The food was reasonable and well cooked. Service was friendly enough. I only have one slight issue, and that was with the temperature of the seating area. It was a little on the cool side and draughty in some areas. I would use this service area again as there is a range of eating options available.

I will never understand how people buy this garbage of food

Ordered a McPlant, got a beef burger in a McPlant box. Not best impressed to say the least!

Always drop in on way to n from Chester

Needed to atop for a break, but this was so slow, not many staff.

Well this must be the worst mcDonalds I have been in no soft drinks available the staff well what can I say the girl that was calling out the order numbers looked as if she didn't want to be there really unhelpful as the self serve BBQ sauce was empty customers were asking her for BBQ sauce and all she could do was point to the dispenser which was empty really bad customers service AWFUL PLACE!!!!!!

Very well managed, decent friendly staff.

Toilets were clean and tidy. Needed a place to do prayers, unfortunately there wasn't any dedicated prayer space, however the lady in whsmiths was friendly and advised us to go to a small section behind the Costa, luckily it wasn't busy so we managed to pray in peace, Would be lovely If the management could create a small multi faith prayer space. Other than that. All good.

Not sure why but the fries we always get tastes like it's old or has been out a for a while. Never fresh, everything else is fine.

Couldn't get a simple order correct staff ignorant and rude and the seating area can only be described as a land fill site had to clear a table to sit down and eat your food

We always stop for McDonalds here never had a bad meal. But can be very busy

Standard Macdonald's food. Service was good. They helped with customising my burger. Which was very helpful as what I wanted was not on the menu.

I don’t know who manages this place, but it’s terrible. There’s always something missing—coffee, water, meat, staff—there’s constantly some issue. Wouldn’t it be better to replace them with another food supplier?

Brilliant macdonalds always packed food always lovely and cooked with care fast service staff always nice and friendly and helpful big indoor and outdoor space one of the best in the UK always love a visit on the way to the north east keep up the fantastic work 😀

In the services with touch screen ordering as seen in most Macdonalds. Early in the morning so quiet but does get busy.

For a small services I thought it would be hectic walking in with a large family but there was plenty of room, so ended up staying to eat and chill

It's a maccies. I always pop in here on my travels for a flat white (£1.80 cheaper than costa) and a brekkie bap deal. Touch screen irdering and a fast collection. Well done, maccies staff. I'm a fan, so always a good strong 3.

Love this services! Every time I go to the lake district I’m always going to pull in for a cheeky mcdonald’s - Keaton is a lovely worker, so sweet and welcoming every time! Thank you all for your kind spirits and hard work 🤗

If they went any slower here they'd be going backwards.. utter shambles.

We are visiting this mcdonald often and I was always happy with the service.. all the staff is very friendly specially Vicki is very friendly and manager Marek as well...will be back soon...I cant forget manager Fiona who is always giving little toy or sweets for my kids ♡ and making they experience even better.. thank you We Love the outside sitting area as well as we can go there with our not very friendly dog as its not too busy there.

Best way to get a nice coffee at a reasonable price when you're en route.

Same as any other McDonald's and same prices even though its on the services

Its in road side services area, parking for all type of vehicle including loaries ( different parking for different type of vehicles). Nice desent size atmospheric area. Food is like all other McDonald's have.

Pretty grim but if you need calories it will do. Crowded and scruffy

The whole service area needs a revamp. Looks old and very tired. Car parking is atrocious and very misleading too many give way points and 2 way traffic.

Busy motorway service station McDonalds, easy to find, access and use The food was a good standard, we just needed something to keep us going, and opted for McDs , it was quite a nice day so we decided to take way and sit out Exactly what you would expect from a McDs

Almost empty at 7am so a perfect stop off on our 5 hour journey 😁

As McDonald's go it was as good as it gets hot fries and the milkshake was the correct consistency.

Overpriced. But they all are. Very helpfull staff. Plenty of space to hang out in the sunshine.

It's possibly a bit harsh to rate this so low, but it is inside a motorway services so they were always gonna have a tough time. We ordered quickly from the usual touchscreen TV thing. Found a clean empty table, and then waited. We waited some more, then after that we waited a little longer. Finally our food arrived. But it's ok, we must have waited as they had to cook something fresh. It's all good. Except it wasn't. It was all warm at best, or just cold. Apart from the milkshake, that was more warm than cold. More of a banana milk that a milkshake. Luckily my kids always like to watch YouTube until their food is colder than a polar bears butt after sitting down for a rest. And no, I never complained as the folks who work there try their best in a busy busy place for not enough money. While Ronald McDonald sits in his golden castle, bathing in vintage Dom Perignon, while being hand fed by the employee of the year from one of their prime sites.

Location only suits pedestrians as it is in a restricted motor zone. Probably the worst service I've received from a McDonald's outlet. Early morning visit and insufficient food was prepared. I had a very long wait for my order waiting on bacon..

Friendly staff , food always hot and don't usually have to wait long

Northbound good, Southbound bad. In a nutshell. And if I could send a message back in time to my (slightly) younger self it would say: "If you're ever in McDonald's and fancy a bit extra, DON'T go for the Wrap of the Day because that particular chicken they used died of starvation in extreme old age."

Roadchef services- up to standards

Rather slow service. Hot chocolate too machine-tasting. Liked the double quarter pounder thing. Tasted like real meat. Not generous on the fries.

Poor attitude towards work. Gave me whole slices in my burger and got most aspects of the order wrong

Normally stop here, always plenty of parking, food doesn't normally take too long (unless ordering during lunch). Only thing is that the touch screens on the order machines could be cleaned more often.

This was possibly one of the best visits to a McDonalds I have had to date, that may have been because I was the only customer at the point of sale, but the food was nice and hot, and the service was extremely quick

Waited over 10 minutes for 2 x coffees at 5 am, hardly any other customers around.

Absolute sh☆thole. EVERY single table filthy. Asked for a table to be cleaned only to be met by an "enthusiastic" teen, who proceeded to get a filthy dishcloth from the side of the bin, cleans two tables, and returns the even more disgusting dishcloth back to its obvious normal abode to where it sat probably much much longer than after we left. The are where the condiments are was indescribable and the sauce dispensers were crawling with bar flies. Furthermore, they missed the apple pie off the order. AVOID, AVOID,AVOID

Service is unacceptably slow even at quiet times. It seems obvious no one in management cares about delivering great customer service anymore

Staff was very unpolite started a conversation while i was asking them a question. Throw all the food in bags chips was every were. Definitely won't be returning.

Awful place, over powering stench of unclean toilets which instantly kill the appetite.

The food was good, the app crashed while I was ordering and caused some issues with me getting my food. The venue overall needed cleaning and was pretty small.

Chips were overdone. Appeared to have been sat standing for a while as also very dry and cold.

Every table is dirty. Staff stood around. Slow service. Watery hot chocolate, not worth drinking. Very disappointed. Won’t be eating again pop in MacDonalds for a very long time.

Usual services McDonald's. Bit more pricey but still usual quality and speed of service

Bacon & Egg muffin was very nice. It's the first time I've actually had anything in any McDonald's when the food has been hot and not lukewarm. Well done.

They stole 2 lire from me... I bought a menu that cost 8 lira, I paid the bill with two vouchers of 5 lira each, and I didn't get two lira left... SHAME

I purchased a happy meal and there should be a choice of 10 different toys, but they had just one type! The ugliest one and the one I already have, so I wanted to exchange for a diferent one, but they didn't have any other.

We took a break from the long drive at Sandbach. There is also a convenience store, a Costa and the McDonald's. The food was as their standard. It was very busy but the service was quick. You can order and eat in half an hour. In the dining area they have an electrical outlet to let you recharge your device.

Burgers thrown together and over priced

Drove from Glasgow to London on Sunday and stopped here, got told it was a 40 minute wait so didn’t bother ordering. Following Saturday (today) stopped in, order was wrong, took a while to get the food as they’re severely understaffed and then nobody had time to correct the order so just left. Would have rather stayed hungry

been here loads of times, quick service, can be busy depending when you arrive but a great place to stop at for anything you need

Slow service & a constant beeping alarm making it impossible to sit and eat food for longer than 5 minutes without losing your mind.

Possibly the best McDonald's I've ever visited. Lightning fast service, hot delicious food and very clean.

Stopped once one the way to Skegness and on the way back really liked it, it's a smaller services but holds a Greg's and burger King all fine

Quick service but could do with more ordering points for busy periods.

Food ok,but not just macdonalds the whole services needs updating. And what's with speed humps on slip road onto motorway?you're supposed to get up to motorway speed before entering the motorway

I think this is the fastest I have ever been served in McDonald's since the early 90s. Standard food does exactly what it says on the tin.

If your staving anywhere is good to eat as long as its clean this place was good 👍

Decent standard for a mcdonalds at a services. Place is clean, we weren't waiting around for ages and the food was alright

It's a service station, nothing special

The staff was very friendly and super tidy. They were constantly cleaning tables, clearing the floors and even made sure their customers were ok. Especially one customer who was in a wheelchair. The staff deserves a pat on the back! They made sure the person had enough space and triple checked she was ok along with the floor being clear for them!

Ordered online to pick-up in restaurant. The app told me my order was 44 but there was no display of order numbers inside the restaurant. A kind lady frim Macdonalds sorted it for me though. When I got home the kids got the usual good meals but the hamburgers I got were appalling. The only flavour from Macdonald's is the pickle and sauce. And there was so little of that. Other than that it's like eating cardboard.

Standard Maccies, services in general were okay. I just went at what must have been a busy time as it was rammed full.

Good little place to stop of for a travel break. Not much to say about the food, standard stuff. Above average coffee. Excellent service from the staff. Place was busy.
