Mcdonald's Restaurants in Knowsley

I ordered food from Uber Eats. I have had issues with this restaurant 6 times already. Always missing items, cold food, and the last time, they gave my order to the wrong driver and they finished as a completed order. That was all the money I had to order food tonight and now the refund will take up to 5 business days to be back in my bank account.

There was a dog walking around inside the restaurant off the lead. I complained to the staff and they said it was going soon, but it did not go. We spoke to the owner saying that dogs are not allowed in food establishments but we got the height of verbal abuse. We have no desire to go to this place again.

i had a horrible experience. the manager named jamie was extremely horrible to me and took an awful long time to get my food sorted. will never be going back here either, he looked extremely untidy and unprofessional too.

Went through drive through, ordered & waited more than 40 minutes. Spoke to staff in the store who could not tell me how much longer I would have to wait. So got a refund. Expect to wait if ordering a customised burger. Whole place seemed chaotic, including the exit from the drive through. Cars parked either side with bikes weaving in & out. Accident waiting to happen. Will avoid in future.

I ordered at the screen. There is no way to know when you're getting your food. No screen, no one at the counter for more than 10 minutes. Very dirty toilets, no toilet roll, dirty floor everywhere. The staff asked me why I was taking pictures and also told me that I was not allowed. Cold food, Fanta no ice came with lots of ice, I ordered to eat but they properly threw everything in a bag. Like in a rubbish bin. Keep doing pictures and keep getting complaints from the staff. Also, they asked very unfriendly to clean the table behind me! Finally got out and the manager or someone who said that was the manager asked me to delete the pictures. In the meantime, how long I had been inside they called the police. Everything was ok with the police. But the McDonald's in Kirkby it's just disgusting.

Avoid this mcdonalds unless you enjoy surprises. Never get what you have ordered. Also nothing fast about the drive through !

Utterly useless. The ordering machines strangely crash just after taking payment and refuse to give an order number or receipt. Would have complained on the spot if I could find a grown up or human being to talk to. Sadly there aren't any in this place. Have contacted my bank about a refund and will never go there again.

Worst McDonald ever wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Stay clear of it. When my daughter and her friend go for something to eat and pay for it this entitles them to sit down and eat there meals not told to leave when there sitting quiet mi ding there own business.

Got to be the worst maccies out them all staff are very incompetent orders are never right always missing something they must be twinned with the rice lane one as well there both as bad as each terrible service and will never be back there again only ended up going there because one on east lancs is closed

Absolute awful asked for plain chicken burger meal, got home to a label on box to say plain no everything on it. Also asked big mc meal only 1 bag of fries which both meals were cold and disgusting Try ringing didn't get through, waste of money and time, I will go elsewhere in future !!!!

I didn't want to cook tonight plus my daughters and their friends who came over to spend time on a Friday evening wanted to have aa McDonald's meal.I wanted to order online but thought is a little too much and decided to just drive myself as I live very close...I went to the drive thru to be quicker and placed my order (I'll post the bill) ... instead of 9 chicken nuggets for one of my daughter friend they only put 6... and instead of large fries for the same girl they gave medium size...I ordered 4 medium fries and 1 large but never gave me the large one....but I paid for the large one, obviously..maybe is not too much but I don't like this...this is really disappointing and is not the only time when things like this are happening...the staff are not being nice,they know nothing about customer service...they mess up the orders and so on... I said myself I'm not going anymore at this McDonald's because every time I go something is happening and I don't like it and is annoying... I worked in customer service and this is not how you do it... very very disappointing!

Tbh I should know better than go back to this McDonalds. The two previous occasions I was served food that was inedible and it ended up in the bin. I complained to McDonald’s via online more so that hopefully they would sort this place out. However I returned tonight at approx 0300 hrs, after my night shift, purchased a quarter pounder cheese meal. Chips were cold, the burger was disgusting. One burger was oily the other was dry and burnt. It was actually crunchy when I bit into it. All in the bin. There’s no quality control at this site. It’s no where near the standard of a McDonald’s Restaurant. Disgusting food. I will not return.

Absolute shambles as usual. Ordered through Uber eats. Order was given to a driver who wasn’t mine so he cancelled and then we were given another driver. Food arrived hour later and surprise surprise I’m missing the main part of the meal, the burger. What an absolute joke. They should all be sacked because they’re useless idiots. The same thing every time. How about do your job and pack a delivery properly. Silly people

I got a delivery, 3 out of four items were wrong , i ordered a milkshake i got a fruit-shoot, ordered caramel mcflury go smartie and caramel, burger was cold and soggy, how do they expect you to pay for this, they never have milkshake available it's known by everyone.Worse mcdonalds ever they need to copy ormskirk who are so much better, never again will i buy from them

Where to start, filthy toilets, slow service, rude staff and cold food. What are the management playing at? How can a lot of lace be so badly run?

Waited an hour for food and came freezing, we live 5 minutes away. No sauce because they can’t be bothered putting it in. I will be emailing the main office with a complaint.

Someone needs to get a grip here. Yobs sitting on and around the pick up point. Disgusting toilets. Little wonder it was not busy.

My poor Uber driver was waiting for over an hour outside the McDonald’s in the freezing cold waiting for my order to be made. ABSOLUTE JOKE, Kirkby McDonald’s has always been a disgraceful service. After 1 hour of waiting for my food they got the order wrong, forgot items, forgot the sauces and everything was freezing!! This place needs some new staff or even better… to be burnt down.

Called in on Sunday 4th of September no receipt from the touch screen , no numbers on the screen, we were number 46 and the person with number 32 was still waiting but, amazingly, the Deliveroo drivers were being supplied all the time. There were roughly 12 people waiting and when one meal was delivered it was stone cold and had to be returned, it used to be so good here but now its a shambles , its not the staffs fault as it seemed that there was just not enough of the to cope, why continue to accept orders at the counter when there are already 12 to 15 waiting because they cannot cope, the drive through and deliveroo get priority we were told the the deliveroo drivers come first and the people at the resturant have to wait, joke. Where are the management? Hiding in the back and leaving a young girl to face the customers who are waiting forever. Never again I thought it was fast food!!!

Every single time you come they park you over at the drive through. Causing people to park in dangerous. The manager is not doing there job by making everyone park over. Why have a drive through and never serve food at the windowm absolute joke

I love the odd McDonalds but hate the wait in the queues. More preference is being given to those who deliver food, the rest of the public have to wait in long queues . Customers are going o go elsewhere if this continues, there so...

No words can describe how bad this place is. Staff are rude. Food is always wrong, then it's cold. If you go threw the drive thru takes forever to even place your order then another 25 min wait for cold food and wrong order. WORSED...

Uber eats orders always wrong. Drive through orders always wrong. Do not leave without checking your order. They will tell you it’s correct even when it isn’t.

Just been to Kirkby mc Donald’s, got family order went home started eating burger nearly choked on piece of plastic left in burger . I went back to see the business manager with the piece of plastic and he agreed that it was off grill...

This McDonald's in Kirkby is a nice little outlet that I occasionally drop into from time to time.Typical McDonald's, clean, light and airy interior and plenty of seating options spread throughout this McDonald's, its a really cool fast food joint that with the building of the K.F.C next door has a bit of competition. Although at the moment its only take away service but it's still nice to get a tasty double cheeseburger, fries and cola ,a bit of normality in these strange coronavirus pandemic times, come the 17th of May with inside and outside service allowed in pubs,bars and restaurants it will be great to visit this McDonald's and enjoy a meal and chill out .

Staff in here are actually incapable of reading from a screen. As per usual items missed from order. Great.

Although this McDonald's along County Road/Hall Lane in Kirkby has been closed since the coronavirus lockdown restrictions set down in March it has now reopened for drive through service,its one of my favourite McDonald's with it being so close to my home, I got a lift home from work by one of my colleagues who fancied a burger meal so we went here ,I ordered double cheeseburger, fries and cola and doubled the order to give my twin brother a treat and a surprise,dropped off in my street we enjoyed our McDonald's burger meals and when we are allowed in for sit down meals in this McDonald's outlet ,hopefully very soon,I will be the first in.Easy to locate along County Road ,a minute from Kirkby Town Centre.

I just couldn’t ask for more delicious food and cleaner place, ignore the bad reviewers they are wrong and dillusional this place is quality

Excellent service fast friendly staff . Children loved face painting and ballon modeling very clean inside and we even got table service which is excellent if you have small children.

No matter what you order you will be told to park over and then it's in the lap of the Gods if you ever get your order and the attitude of the staff stinks

Managers speak to staff disgustingly and aren’t much better at speaking to staff! Absolutely vile people and communication skills how on earth these people get to manager status is beyond me!

Visited here this morning and it is what it is basically, pretty cheap and cheerful breakfast option.

The hot choclate is like hot water needs a visit of trading standards weights and measures they have known there’s is a problem with this machine over a year the managment but don’t seem able to sort it out they need to go and try a choc of the a few other outlets and then compare it to there own store they might understand they are stealing from the people same as there coffee not putting enough ingredients into the cup order a toffee latte by the time it gets to you it don’t look like a toffee latte always freezing cold no cream as shown in the picture on the board place needs new machines and a better understanding of what they are serving to customers it’s a managment failure

Worst McDonald’s in Liverpool. Every time we go to get food from this establishment no matter how small the order we asked to pull over into one of the bays. With an average wait time of 20 minutes even at non peak times. After all that wait you would think your food will be hot as it has just come out the oven, But you would be wrong. Burgers cold, chips cold and food missing from your order this McDonald’s exceeds expectations on how poor a service can actually be. I have lived in Kirkby for 25 years and with the new renovation we expected a better service but we were sadly mistaken.

This place is hit and miss with coffee and hot choc need to put some ingredients into the cup not serve hot water as hot coffee the worse has to be the hot choc weight and measures would have a field day in here

I didn't even want to give this one star!!!! the staff at this place need to look for a new job!!! Can't even read the receipt properly.Asked for 2 packs of nacho cheese wedges and 2 burgersThey didn't put one of the boxes together and didn't put the dips in the bag!!! Then we ask the girl who brought or food and she got a dip out of her pocket which was open and slipped off. Want to speak to a manager!!!! This is not the first time The manager needs to get a grip of the staff they have no customer service skills also they have more make up on than a burger filling. Also their hair should be in the hair net not the other way around!!

Staff are always nice, polite and helpful , they cannot help the demographic area. Food always good and service always great.

Never ever got any milkshakes the staff constantly say the milkshake machine is broke !! Brown lettuce on my mc chicken sandwich....vile 🤢 go the one on the east lancs so much better

This McDonald's is a quite good outlet located in the very heart of Kirkby.

Its Mcdonalds but at peak its so busy and its too small for the amount of people that go there. Never had a problem with the food just the place is too small for the volume of customers it has. Staff in general are ok.

Got some veg burger but was pretty bland and not very nice. Never used Maccies as it's known here. The beef burger was fine but I'm giving two stars as veg burger was half eaten before I gave up. I'm not saying it's not a popular place here. Sales will reflect that. Sadly, the veg burger was awful. Would have complained in person but due to disability it would have cost the price of a cab. Passed the place in a car the other evening, I was hungry but did not want to take a chance. Shame as I have had a decent veg burger in other branches.

Been here a few times and never once had the right order staff are too busy talking to each other than giving any type of customer service try and avoid unless needed

i had reason to visit there today. the staff there couldnt do enough to help me. i was lost and didnt know where i was going and my phone had died. they did everything possible to help me.

Standard mcdonalds i had a bacon roll meal deal which was fine ,place was clean ok for a stop off if your after a bite to eat

Go every Friday. But the staff need a maths lesson, every time get 20 chicken nuggets, either get 17,or 18. Never 20, add them up every week that's minus a lot of nuggets. Please teach staff how to count 20 nuggets in a box plllleeease

We got a late flight back from Rome so most every chippy and fast food outlet was closed in Kikby so as this is only a minute or so from our house,we asked our mate who picked us up at the airport to go through the drive way were my twin brother Stephen and I ordered a cheese burger,extra fries,colas ,service was quick and the meals when we got home were delicious,I know it's just a Maccys meal and easy to knock but sometimes you just crave a nice tasty meal and this burger meal certainly hit the spot.

I've stopped here a few times and each time came out relaxed and not stressed. Can get very busy at school lunch time as there is a large secondary school opposite

Estoy enfermo y cansado de ir a través de la unidad a través de después de las comidas para mi familia sólo para descubrir después que llegar a casa que el orden es incorrecto y/nuestra salsa no era poner en la maleta. Fries were soggy and cold, no salt on them either. Burger was put together terribly with cheese all over the place spilling out the wrapper. Gave me no sauces with my chicken selects, didn't give me any ice in my drinks, told me they weren't serving mcflurrys today, manager was very rude and looked like she was saving all the mcflurrys for herself :/ and waited 10 minutes in the car park for them to bring me my order, even though I was the only customer at the entire restaurant. Seriously needs sorting out and the staff need whipping into shape (literally)!
