McDonald's in Knowsley

I know the people at mcdonald's have got to be special but the staff at prescot cables retail park are something else. Always check your order, they think ye can eat dry nuggets an never give you the right drink, the poor special staff they hired can't tell the difference from coke to fanta an definitely definitely don't order online because you won't get your order at all

Wait times are ridiculous - not fast food

Don’t bother to order from here through food apps, it says 10-30 min and I’ve waited over 1 hour, swooped to 3 delivery drivers, can’t get hold of them and then if I was to cancel I’d be charged £14!!! Food always comes cold joke !!!!

Don't know why but if you can't serve two drive though bays why have them both open? Few weeks ago 4 cars went through in other bay before I was answered. And when asked why other cars had gone through I was told the other person was busy. Proper annoying. And now just happened again, i ended up driving through without speaking to anyone. You and huyton got to be the worst ones local to me.

Shame on you McDonalds. Increase your prices and provide cold, cardboard like burgers and chips. Not only that but your staff have no clue about customer service and giving customers the correct items. Your focusing has shifted to delivery orders over the customers who eat in or use your drive through. Because of the additional demand your quality has gone down hill. Not sure how you can get away with selling what you class as food to people. 90% of the time I have been to this McDonalds it’s been the same result. Good job you have sauces to help give the food some flavour. Anyway, I am sure you don’t really care about your customers as I haven’t noticed a response to your reviews from a manager. No longer the McDonalds I remember but maybe the kids are used to the crap you sell them that you are happy to keep selling it to them. Thanks for listening!

All 3 large chips where missing at salary half the chips and i didn’t get any sauce either my nuggets and I even paid for extras sauce and didn’t get them either

I ordered 2 dips but wasn't in with the order, also no drinking straws, but otherwise all OK

Placed order at 16:35, food did not arrive until after 19:00.

I ordered a for 2 medium meals and only one meal came in total, I have submitted a refund form and taken pictures also available upon request

Just order from their app, paid for my food and waited only to be missing over half my order. I called it and was told to contact some number in the mcdonald's app, what was hard to find and hidden away in many menus/opinions. After finding out its in my email and its not a phone number I was sent to uber who told me. I can't get a refund or be given the items I paid for. But was told if I wanted the items that I paid for I can repay for them. After being told I have to repay/reorder my already paid for food I have given up.

I'm definitely not a ' Mickey D's' regular, poss twice a year. Nonetheless I had to be fair and point out that it was spotlessly clean, the staff were lovely ( I engaged with three) and helpful. Best of all the breakfast McMuffin I had was not greasy and the black coffee was delicious too. If only all McDonalds were like this!😉

Ordered a double quarter pounder meal and they forgot the double quarter pounder, not the first time they've forgot something. Not sure why I bothered, you pay for overpriced food and they forget half your order.

Why is it so slow to get served in drive in for 10 minutes now,still here.

The food itself was lovely, as usual. However this is the second time we’ve ordered from McDonald’s, and the second time that no sauce or straws have arrived with our order. Sounds a little petty, but it’s little frustrating when it’s happened twice

took 15 mins to start preparing the food, took almost an hour to get here when the restaurant is 5 mins away

Got told to pull into the bay and my food would be brought out, all bays where full of other people waiting for food, the bays to the side were filled with just eat drivers and there was nowhere nearby to park, drove around for a few mins and gave up, had to go through PayPal to get my money back. I've never known a McDonald's as bad as this one for asking to park in a bay to wait for them to bring out cold food.

Ordered a McChicken sandwich with extra Mayo and no lettuce in the drive thru. I was asked to park up and wait (completely ridiculous - how long does it take to make one burger??). After waiting 10 minutes parked up, staff came out with a bag, asked the other 4 cars that were parked up if it was their food before heading back inside - they didn’t check with me. After another 5 minutes they came out with a cold burger, asking again all the other cars before coming to me. I waited 15 minutes for a single chicken burger - not even a meal. Furthermore it didn’t even have a double portion of Mayo - barely a single portion. The burger was cold by the time it got to me and I’d waited 15 minutes - half of my lunch break just waiting for a single burger. I paid nearly £5 for the privilege of waiting 15 minutes for a cold burger that was not made to spec. This McDonalds location is completely useless - often gets the order wrong, like a couple weeks ago when I got home with a number of meals and only one of the five large fries we ordered were there. Sometimes my chicken burger will arrive with individual shreds of lettuce in the box and on the burger - as if they’d made one with lettuce and just taken it off. Other times my mcchicken has arrived with a slice of cheese or bits of gherkin - as if that’s remotely close to “extra Mayo and no lettuce” - save yourself the money, time and sanity and go hungry instead.

Though the had a refurbishment they seem unable to deliver a complete order. If you cannot go in person order from a more reputable restaurant!

Got to say I never leave reviews however it really is true what people say about having to be illiterate or plain th I ck to work at McDonald’s because they never get orders or requests correct

Ever since this place has its refurb, it’s gone massive downhill. Don’t bother, you’ll be left waiting for your cold food.

I ordered the food at 6.56 and it arrive at 20:35 which is ridiculous. It was cold and all over the bag when it finally got here. My kids were waiting nearly two hours !!!!

The order delivery time changed at least 8/10 times , again I ordered dips for the nuggets even put a reminder on the order yhey werent putvin the bag, nuggets were warm. The milk shake was virtually just milk mainly liquid. So NO I wontbe

I placed my order ar 12.10pm and only received it at 1.40pm 1 and a half hours later! The courier obviously took the wrong turn and had to turn back on himself which delayed the delivery causing the food to be freezing cold when it arrived!

Selected ketchup sauce for my nuggets which I didn’t received. And I paid for a sweet chilli dip which I also didn’t receive!

The first time I noticed missing items in my order, I thought it was just a one-time mistake. However, as I continued to visit this drive-through, I realized that it was a recurring issue. Almost every time I placed an order, there would be at least one item missing. Not only is this frustrating, but it also wastes my time. I have to go back and forth with the drive-through staff to get the missing item, which can be quite inconvenient. I have tried different approaches to address this issue. I have double-checked my order before leaving the drive-through, but even then, items are still missing. I have also politely informed the staff about the missing items, hoping that they would take note and improve their service. Unfortunately, the problem persists. It is disappointing to see a drive-through consistently missing out on items in the order. It reflects poorly on their efficiency and attention to detail. As a customer, I expect to receive what I have paid for, and it is frustrating to constantly be let down in this regard. I hope that the management of this drive-through takes this issue seriously and works towards improving their service. Overall, my experience with this drive-through has been disappointing due to their consistent failure to include all items in my order. I hope they take the necessary steps to rectify this issue and provide a better experience for their customers in the future. 12/02/2025: The quality of the food check continues to be poor. Items are often missing from orders. My double quarter pounder cheeseburger had no cheese or vegetables. 😤

Good visit, staff were friendly and helpful, food was pretty good overall. Still a bit on the cool side but that seems to be the norm at McDonald's nowadays as always last in the queue behind the delivery orders.

I’ve ordered on uber eats this morning at 11am when they transfare over the morning menu to lunch time I waited over an hour just to get my food the driver had to cancel and I had to wait for a second driver this is not very good service keeping uber drivers waiting that long I didn’t get the order until half 12 never be ordering from here again the food was really cold as well

Since it's been refurbished it's terrible, aimed more at delivers. The tables are too low and the boxes underneath the tables for the phone charges are sharp and rip your clothes

Absolute horrendous since the renovation when you park up you have to wait in the stupidest parking were you get blocked in so by the time you get to eat your food it's cold, customer service wise it's shocking heard one of the staff saying to another member can you help her. the container for the drinks was so wet, it went through to the bag, it was about to rip open it was so wet, the chicken burger was okay if only the sauce and lettuce stayed on the bun. my 1st time using just eat for mc donalds, it was OK but not happy with the drink side of it
