Mcdonald's Restaurants in Sheffield

Forgot part of my order and had to go back for it. Food was cold by the time we got the complete order, after 50 minutes of waiting.

Thanks for replacing the new burger with a normal double cheese burger and still getting charged. Shocking drive through, just half arsed

Went in the drive thru and the service was quick. Food as expected for fast food was average.

Came at like 11.30 the other night and drive thru was shut, had to go inside in my jammies to order and it took the absolute piss.

Gave our order to the car in front. Told us to wait whilst they remade. Waited 15 mins, had to go in store. Then wait again for our food.

I ordered yesterday from this location and all the things was called and fries wast have anyyy sort of taste and today i went to the place because i know the tadte was use to be good but still all the things i order was straight trash miss old taste

Absolutely shocking every single time I go my order is missing something. Spent 40mins trying to call the restaurant but no answer an left it ringing off the hook.

They seem to solely focus on Drive Thru and delivery orders. It is meant to be fast food but if you go inside to order, you're always waiting up to 10-15 minutes. Food is often incorrect too.

I've been twice in the last two weeks and got food poisoning both times. There doesn't seem to be any way to notify McDonald's on their website and I don't even want to make a fuss but obviously something isn't right if I've got food poisoning twice in a row. Both times had a quarter pounder meal with a coke. I gave it the benefit of the doubt after the first time but twice is a pattern. I'd appreciate a response that this is going to be looked into.

Farm Road McDonald’s- Every time I’ve been service has been shocking! Waited 40 mins tonight for a coke when there is about 3 people in the whole McDonald’s and only me waiting for my order. Even when we told them the service was shocking. Staff just looking and walking past

Unfortunately this review is not a good one. But this essay has a nice ending This is the first time I’ve visited this establishment since it has been converted with a portion of the restaurant dedicated to the Just Eat delivery service and Uber eats. which it seems quite busy with deliveries. I estimate around eight months ago. this restaurant had a substantial refurb. upon using the touchscreen to order my eat in meal, I noticed that the turnover of customers collecting their food was not very fast. A lot of people waiting about. . I don’t know whether they had fallen asleep in the kitchen ( joking) lol. or they were prioritising the Uber orders? out of all the McDonald’s across the country. this one has the longest waiting time. you can guarantee it. 15 minutes of my life wasted because of the management style in this McDonald’s is discombobulated. They might be short staffed? for all I know? it needs sorting out. Customers arnt going to put up with this for long if it’s a Thing at this branch? I’m not surprised there’s two bounces on the door. Possibly people may get frustrated or die of starvation? Who knows.? but security spot on. they were very courteous. The dining area staff were also courteous. When I said after 10 minutes keep it I wasn’t bothered it’s quicker to go Other McDonalds! Lol. then my order appeared in a couple of minutes. so Please sort it out area manager as obviously the current situation is not good and word will soon spread that you’re waiting forever at farm Road, McDonald’s. One think I must say, which is a positive. Zack on the dining area was very courteous and chilled me out as I was starving. . I really like him. He deserves a promotion staff like him, golden. To be honest they all decent. Just understaffed or something? Who knows.

Items missing from my drive through order again, this time the Granville Square, Farm Rd, Sheffield S2 2TP branch were clever enough not to include my receipt in the bag so I couldn't go back and get it sorted out. My advice is to thoroughly check all your items before you leave the "booth" and ignore the staffs requests to move on to clear the queue until your sure it's all present and correct.

Worse McDonald's I've been to. No parking, car got hit while waiting for a simple 1x burger with no extras. Service is stupidly slow and accidents are happening while people are waiting for there orders. Wish I never visited!

The food took about 25 minutes to come to our table after ordering on the app, and then the server spilt my coffee on my hand. He did not even apologise. he just brought over some napkins and walked away.

Waited for over 35 after ordering two wraps. No respect to the customer's time at all. Won't visit hereafter.

The security guard who was working the late night/ early morning (16-17 March) was so helpful with watching my friend when she was feeling sick. He was really helpful when ordering an Uber and keeping an eye on her whilst she got some air.

Rubbish service 90% of the time, as with most mcds milkshakes machine never works. Burgers are slapped together like someone was mad at it. Chips usually soggy n unsalted. It's closest to me, unfortunately, so do use it when needed. I have learned to check order at the window as there's usually something missing

Order food tonight.. 12:30 ordered delivered at 2:00 . Food is cold . Absolutely poor service. Food quality is so poor . Something is very wrong in poor service . Food is ready 1:41 on slip but why it is too cold ?? Something is not good in this organisation. Manager should check about it . Unhealthy for people.

Food Poisoning McDonalds- Sheffield - Farm Road. Driver Assigned, 35 mins so far and 3 time adjustments. NO option to cancel. It is always the same recently, they take your money and leave you hanging with these so called wrong time updates. It really would have been with me if I had walked it! That is there and back! Now the driver is at the restaurant.....9 mins later its en route. Now driver is going a random wrong way to me? Why? Finally its arrived and as expected by now it is arctic stone cold with my fries tasting stale and greasy cold, yuk.! I am not using just eat again. Deliveroo all the way. Further inspection/check on fries and they are also mostly undercooked- transparent uncooked look to them, plus very soft. This is tragic, not standard! At 2.20am I started getting rapid hot n cold flushes, an hr later I was throwing up. You gave me food poisoning Since this I have had many friends and family comment on the fact they do have a very large(dog/cat sized rats) running around freely and are swarming in the car park. God knows how bad it actually is inside!! No wonder people are getting so sick so often. This place needs shutting down. I have reported it to the authorities as this is not acceptable.

Never ordering from here again they had missed 4 CHEESEBURGERS AND A BIG MAC MEAL when delivered I rung up they said ring just eat who they told me ring restaurant up it’s a bat and ball game with no one accepting responsibility for their incompetence didn’t even get the issue resolved

Probably the worst McDonald's in Sheffield (in terms of service, at least). Entire items are frequently missed from orders, and order instructions are rarely followed. My partner has suffered through multiple hypoglycemic episodes because his full-fat coke keeps getting replaced with diet - sugar is important to making sure that he doesn't faint unexpectedly, so having it replaced with a zero-sugar alternative against his knowledge can lead to some serious issues. Not to mention that he is allergic to many sweeteners that are commonly added to diet sodas, so I always have to check our orders to make sure that he doesn't drink something that could send him to hospital. I would be more lenient in my review if this place wasn't solely focused on delivery and pick-up, as I'm sure that these problems could be fixed in a sit-in restaurant, but I have never had a good experience when ordering from this store.

Place has improved somewhat since the redesign. Used to have stuff missing from orders all the time, but now fairly reliable. Other than that it's a McDonald's.

The new hub are letting it down very impersonal

It feels more like a shed than a restaurant. There's tables but more walls and blocked areas than a large shed! There was a lady who was walking round (mostly in front of us repeatedly when we were trying to use the screen, instead of going around the back of us) but that was all the staff we could see. We couldn't see anyone making the food up or anybody serving because you could only order using the machines, which is great while they're working but if they fail, how do you order then? The atmosphere was okay but a bit depressing due to the number of boards for walls and although there was music playing in the background, it was not really a place I'd want to go back to in a hurry.

It was really busy 9pm on Friday night. Very noisy lots of staff some parts were dirty due to previous customer's food was hot delivered to out table they forgot the 9 nuggets so had to ask but they arrived quickly

We came Friday night after a night out and we’re helping a young girl who had gotten very drunk and was feeling unwell, a lovely man working on the front/ customer service brought her water and a bag in case she was sick. This was really appreciated as he didn’t have to do this.

I am disabled. When I arrived both accessible parking bays were occupied, neither car displaying a badge occupants of both obviously waiting for delayed food. I had to Park some distance from the door. I had tk wait yk use a machine as one was broken. It was a long wait at table for a simple order. Toilets were not clean. Because of my disability it was a while before I left, I did order a second coffee however. I have this week received a Parking Charge Notice for parking in the xar park for too long. The signs are not obvious and I wasn't aware of the limited time J waszallowed to stay

The new setup in McDonald's makes a massive difference. The front line staff are extremely helpful and polite in every McDonald's I've visited. It's also kept extremely clean by all the cleaning staff

I ordered a simple double sausage and egg meal. Got a single. Went back and queued while my coffee got cold to change it and the manager told me I'd paid for a single. I told her that I'd ordered the double, twice, and she just kinda shrugged. She didn't offer to rectify her employee's mistake and change the order, for which I could have paid. I told her that if she couldn't a simple breakfast order that I wouldn't be back and got a "that's fine" as a reply. This is a manager, setting out to destroy the very brand that the company spend millions annually to promote, and the brand that pays her wages! It's a busy branch with the student custom, who probably don't complain about the standard of service, and she probably believes there will always be more customers so she doesn't have to try too hard with the public relations... Lastly, the muffin was lukewarm and stacked in the usual staircase effect style. Abysmal service and product.

Staff dont no how to do there job as thay will walk off instead of sevring you and just give you blank look and star at you when thay finaly clock on that your there to buy food and have had problems with the app for 20 mins and because thay spend all that time changing a bin bag you now cant oder breakfast instead of trying to make the customer happy thay will then spend another 5 mins asking people what to do and then just say no to you this is my 5th problem here numaly thay just mess up my oder and its cold are there just rude but this time just really anoyed this time

I have NEVER been to a worse McDonald's, the collection counter is little more than a serving hatch about three feet wide with no room to wait, it's horrendous... This is little more than a drive through and just eats now... do not bother going in...

I work a night shift and I been looking. Caramel frappy Four 3 weeks In Hillsboro McDonald and farm road one is well. When I ever want to order it first to take a order. And next few seconds, somebody tells them To just Say We don't have at the moment. Very disappointed.

Wow the food is terrible since they reopened! How did you manage to make fries so chewy!? The chicken somehow doesn't even taste like chicken anymore. Plus we were waiting for about 20 minutes.

Just reopened after a refurb, adding a McDelivery area. Staff were very attentive and restaurant kept clean.

Why do the fries in all McDonald's go rubbery and why is the food nearly always cold?

Ordered through uber eats and the drink had fully spilled in the bag because the lid had not been secured properly and the food was stone cold. Do not order from here and use the Archer Road branch instead where this type of stuff doesn’t happen.

Was told my payment had not gone through. Was asked to drive round again and wait to pay. This was at a very busy time when I had already waited 15 minutes. Checked bank this morning and the payment has indeed gone through. I am so angry at the lack of customer service I was shown.

What has McDonald's come to seriously bad in this place. Staff have an attitude problem. My food sat on the side counter for over 5 mins while it took the guy who made my tea that long to pour one out. The place had a few customers in and I mean 3 people. I got my food cold since it sat on the side counter for that length of time. The staff are so slow and you would think smiling was such an effort really bad customer service. Toilet floor wet with no sign out Health and Safety issue

You need to ask the just-eat and Uber drivers to stop clogging up your parking bays designed for disabled customers! It is not acceptable .

Just come in for a sausage ad egg mc muffin meal so you should get a drink and hash brown with it as we paid but yet again we have had no hashbrowns with either of our meals as we got 2. But that's not the worst I bites into my sausage and egg mc muffin and there was the egg shell inside my sandwich it cost us £10 for mine and my partners breakfast yet it was horrible 🤢🤢

Good quick service and the food served on the drive through was hot and they had everything we desired available, this is not something all in the chain seem to manage.
