Looking run down the open kitchen looks a disorgan8s3d mess the windows are filthy and whilst there unlike other ones I never saw anyone clean or tidy the place up. When the food came it was cold and uninspiring at least my coffee was hot

I ordered a Big Mac meal which took 20 minutes to come out and was stone cold like it was sat there for a long time

Ordered 2 big Mac’s as part of order and only got one and that wasn’t made correctly as the picture shows. Wasn’t even busy and took forever. I’d say avoid, but if you want a McDonald’s this is the only one locally, so you have no choice!

My recent experience at the McDonald's on St Mary's Street in Cardiff was quite disappointing. Being in a rush to get food for my children, I trusted this them as a quick and supposedly safe option. Unfortunately, this decision led to an unpleasant aftermath, as everyone who consumed the meal suffered from diarrhea for several days. This incident not only caused discomfort but also raised concerns about the food hygiene and safety standards of this particular location. I would suggest you avoid this place.

Left my jacket here and when I went back for it they denied it was there. 100 quid down the drain. They didn't even bother to have a thorough check

One of the best coffee in the UK. I was not a coffee lover but now I have a habit of drinking at least one cup of Latte or Cappuccino in a day.

I was at McDonalds yesterday and witnessed a disturbing incident amongst the staff at the counter. A staff member of colour with an accent called out an order and then a supervisor (I'm assuming as she had a different uniform) came up behind her and mimicked her accent in a derogatory way and started laughing at the first lady joined in by a few other members of staff. She then looked across to two male members of staff who were outside of the kitchen area (maybe also supervisors or managers) and fained apology to them laughing and saying sorry I didn't see you there. As if her behaviour would have been acceptable if they had not been present. This is blatent bullying and racism. The fact that this staff member in authority thinks it's acceptable to behave that way towards other staff members of colour and with accents, in front of other staff members and customers is very disturbing. I honestly can't believe she was so rude and horrible to her in front of staff members and customers too. McDonalds needs to get rid of this vile racist and provide all staff members with training. Cardiff has always been proud of its history and reputation as a welcoming multicultural city. Shame this isn't reflected by McDonalds staff.

Half the drinks are not there, I had to choose between orange juice and oasis. Food good tho ngl. Food came fast. Floor is more slippery than a wet shower.

Not 24 hours, got there at 4 and they said it was shut.

Had a little issue but the manager Sophie was so polite and dealt with the situation so well, very kind offered a resolution. Thank you so much for dealing with it.

Best staff at a McDonald’s I’ve ever seen, midnight on a weekday. Was waiting a while a for something but they was so friendly, polite and transparent.

They served food but didn’t let us sit inside. No ticket printed from the machine as usual. Awful McDonalds, one of the worst I’ve been to.

Very busy, staff couldn't cope. Person doing drinks ran out of cream for the coffees. Was gone for ages getting some more, came back finished making the coffee so it was cold when he gave it to me as was the food which was also waiting the same time

I went to get some lunch and got 20 nuggets and 2 large fries with a coke ans it’s was absolutely rank the only thing good about it was my coke the nuggets and fries were dry and overcooked was not worth my money did not even eat it all because of this

Lokal w porządku, obsługa nie zna języka. Jedna dziewczyna próbowała mnie obsłużyć, w końcu wezwała kierownika który rozumiał z walijskiego piąte przez dziesiąte i zaczął pokazywać na migi. Mimo to wszyscy uprzejmi.

A busy city centre restaurant. Staff were efficient, polite and helpful.

Not up to the usual standard. Order screens not working, Big Mac was soggy, no milk shakes, quite a wait.

bought the limited addition delux burgers, and one came out cold and the other was poor, no salad just sauce, we didnt have time to ask for an exchange, and the service was really slow....even for mcdonalds, and the order machines again gave no receipts

the check machine did not work, the food was waiting for a very long time. put the wrong burger. there was no ketchup.

I ordered an espresso which is to my surprise more than okay.

Shout out to Shakila (lady with glasses) for always being kind and supportive to a lot of customers, including me. I often see her asking for extra suaces or any other requests customers might have. She keeps running back and forth for order requests. On top of that, she keeps it all tidy. I liked their vegan burger meal.

I would have left a review on McDonalds website, but couldn't find anywhere on the site to leave one. The store is grubby, table tops are filthy and the floor is sticky with gods knows what. Left without purchasing anything.

I would just like to say a massive thank you to the 2 security staff, and the manager for how we were looked after on Tuesday night. We we’re stranded after missing our train, and the hospitality you showed to me and my daughter I will never forget. Thanks again gentlemen!

A normal McDonalds restaurant. Quick preparation, good service really good service, great food and I when I went to this McDonalds I had breakfast for the first time in a McDonalds. I love McDonalds but one thing in particular is the tea. Now maybe people disagree with me but I think McDonalds tea is way better that Starbucks tea. Does anyone agree?. I would recommend coming here!

Gave us tomato Ketchup instead of salsa dip for our mozzarella share box. It's not the same 😅

Absolutely disgusting, paid for a 5 piece chicken select and only got a 3 piece. Just because we've had a drink don't mean you can con us 🤬

Absolutely terrible McDonald's. My cheese burger and chips were stone cold and tasted like onion rings so must be cooked in the same fat. Premises dirty. Staff don't care . McDonald's should be ashamed to allow a branch line this to operate

My previous experience with staff has not been good here, But Today I was served by Shakila, She is such a darling with so much enthusiasm, It was a busy hour and the place was so crowded, she smoothly managed all out tantrums and handled everything so perfectly! Loved the experience at MCd today cuz of shakila.. I am gonna definitely visit again to greet this lady

Food was good, fast service, when ordering around 10pm was only to takeaway and toilets were closed. Not really sure if stills opening 24h.

Fair play to Morgan and Celyn. Lovely people with great customer service! Promotion to both please as they are amazing. Won't come back unless they're running the gaff. Thanks for great customer service

I came to mcdonald’s and Shakila was very professional and helpful during my stay. She is a very nice person and is so polite.

Waited 20 minutes for a portion of small fries and a fruit bag. Not much seating so would recommend takeaway only. However the chips were perfectly seasoned when got them.

Every time I order (Just Eat, Deliveroo or McDonalds app) something is wrong with the order - wrong or missing items, you name it. Every. Single. Time. Insane how incompetent workers at this McDonalds are.

the place is in and out including the toilets. i had my laptop to write an essay for a friend which was urgent. i ordered for food and it was served to me directly on my seat by a lovely and charming elder staff. she would every now and then pass by and ask if everything was ok and if I needed anything else. i would look at her and she smiled at everyone she attended to. i asked for her name and she said Shakila. i think I would visit this Mcdonalds anytime I feel like having a Mac. i would leave Newport and come to cardiff central to have a mac because of her. absolutely great place....

Extremely dissatisfied I ordered food on the app, which had no problem taking my order and my payment. I receive a notification that the order had been received by the restaurant, is being prepared and will be with me in 15 minutes. 15 minutes later I receive a communication saying my delivery is outside my location so I went outside. The delivery wasn’t there! I called the rider and got no answer! I call again and ask where they are. I was told “outside, outside” ! He was clearly not outside so I raise a query using help. The customer services says they will contact rider. I asked to cancel the order as It was taking to long. The query was closed by customer services as resolved.!! I was no clearer to whether my order had been cancelled or where the rider was!! 20 minutes after my order should have arrived I get a message saying my order has been delivered?? I went to the front of my location and the order was sitting on its on on the clod step of the hotel.. no rider in sight. This is absolutely awful service. I took the order back to the mc Donald’s on 12/14 Queen Street, Cardiff, CF10 2BU (6 minute walk from my location) I spoke with Liam the manager and explained what had happened. Gave him back the Frozen un opened delivery. Liam the manager said he understands what has happened but there is “nothing he can do about it” ! “I need to take it up with Uber… He said he could contact Uber or exchange the food for something edible. I was completely shocked by the unhelpful manner of the manager. This service and customer service is Not what you expect from such large company’s that deal with the public on such a larger scale. With members of the public neither of these businesses would be able to sustain their businesses. However it was shown in this instance that they don’t actually care.

The food was good but the only down side is it gave me a bad stomach plus it was dirty on the floor tye cleaner didnt clean the floor

The queue was quite long but moved quickly. The food was fresh and hot. The staff were great; so friendly and smiley. Probably the best drive through Macdonald's experience to date.

Burgers are no so tasty and so bland.

Store was dirty. Receipt didn’t print out when using the self service. Atmosphere felt dead. Didn’t understand why it took 20 minutes to order one pancakes while it wasn’t busy. Pancakes were alright but nothing special. Won’t be going out my way eating here whilst in Cardiff.

So overall it was a pretty standard Maccies experience, but I just wanted to say that the lady doing the cleaning while we were there (about 13:45 on 20th Feb) was really lovely! Someone on a table near us got up to get something and she immediately offered to get it for them instead, and before we had a chance to clear our trays away she was offering to take them for us.

Absolutely disgusting establishment. Visited it on our night out and it stunk of wet dog and grease. Ordered a maccies breakfast in the morning. Received a muffin that stated ‘no egg’ on the label but included the egg? Downright thick. But the worst part is that my friend’s muffin already had a large bite taken out of it. Absolutely disgusting!

Visited late at night as no where else serving food. Very small queue outside but no one was causing issues. In the shop was 3 people and 3 security guards. All the security guards treated you like you were getting food in a maximum security prison. i am sure this is a point of hassle late at night sometimes. Treating people like this does not help in anyway

Not good. We like a sausage and egg muffin, but was really disappointed by this McDonald’s. Could not find any hand sanitiser and the food was delivered without even a napkin. Real basics not provided and even the food was disappointing. Bizarrely gave a sense of feeling dirty!

I've been to this maccies 4 times and it is the worst. Not expecting the best service but at least a fake smile but that's not what bothers me... It's the lack of sauce. Everytime I order through the kiosk and select the sauce I want to go with my selects/dippers etc and never get any sauce. The 3rd time the lady tossed my order on the table, chips fell out then I checked and NO SAUCE. I then I asked for the sauce I requested via the kiosk and the lady grabbed a fist full and threw them in without a care in the world (she acted as if I'd asked for a kidney). This 4th time I ordered via uber eats after finishing work and guess what... No sauce. What is up with this place, everyone moves like no one's waiting for them and it takes forever for the simplest of items. I go to maccies quite a bit and this branch really lets it down. It's not that deep but all I want is to dip some cheap food in some cheap dip... Not asking much

Very disappointing, do not come here for your drunk snack because you will be waiting at least 20 minutes for a 99p cheese burger. Disgraceful.

This mcdonalds need a good clean. The toilets are stinking, really dirty. Food takes ages to come out because too many staff stood around talking. Also a big problem with this mcdonalds is the homeless people it attracts puts you off going anywhere near it. Always a problem with them somewhere. This is a major issue which needs addressing

El área de arriba estaba cerrada y el inodoro para discapacitados de abajo era el único inodoro en uso. El baño estaba sucio y olía muy mal.Un miembro del personal empujó un salto de cintura a través del área del restaurante. Como ex profesional de la restauración, sé que esto es completamente inaceptable.Mi comida estaba fría y el personal de seguridad fue muy grosero cuando me quejé.Este es sin duda el peor lugar en el que he estado y una situación muy triste para Macdonalds.

Early afternoon Sunday 4th August and we visited here for a quick snack and a coffee.

Iconic location in Cardiff St Mary's Street. New ordering system makes it more efficient than before. Plenty of smelly unwashed in here but not the staff who were smart and friendly. Coffee delivered in under 3 minutes on a weekend is pretty good. Would recommend.

I only go in for a flat white Every time I go in the ladies toilets There never any soap. That should be the first job the cleaner does in there to check .if there any .

Was a bit chaotic, but not McDonalds fault. Food was regular. Staff all seemed to want to be somewhere else. But my main gripe is that when I arrived, and when I left, I could see staff members smoking outside. Surely there is somewhere staff could smoke unseen by customers

My boyfriend and I ordered breakfast with uber eats. The order arrived and one of the drinks had not been properly closed and had emptied all over the food, so much so that the bag ripped as soon as the driver attempted to pick it up. The driver appologised and said he could not give it to us like that and that he would organise a replacement to be brought out to us. Then we get a phone call to say our money has been refunded instead. That's great but we want our breakfast!? The restaurant apparently refused to remake our order because they've stopped serving breakfast. That should not matter when it comes to replacing a damaged orde. Very annoyed.

You can choose healthy options here and there is a good variety to suit the whole family and even slimmers! We find having 2 healthy Herbalife shakes and healthy meal option keeps us young and active!

Había muy poco espacio dentro, parecía que había habido una gran entrega, y había cajas por todas partes, lo que significaba que había pocos asientos disponibles. popped in here for a snack on valentines day and couldn't fault the place , food was served pretty quick , didn't struggle to find a table and the place was clean , would happily pop bk in again

Absolutely terrible experience.

We were there early in the AM on Sunday since it’s 24 hrs and close to our hotel. The outside had several homeless people but inside was nice and clean. Staff was nice and helpful. Food as any other McDonalds, but had the convenient ordering stations with wireless pay.

Great location on St Mary's Street. Only had burger and drinks. Food was excellent and so were the drinks.

Fichas medio vacías, dijeron 3 veces que no había bebidas aparte de la botella, incluso por un gerente para ver a otras personas que toman bebidas gaseosas y el personal se suaviza para luego decir que podríamos tener una después de pagar, el personal fue grosero y no amable y un miembro del personal en particular Me estaba dando a mí ya mis amigos miradas sucias. Asquerosos miembros del personal, no volveremos a visitar.

El que estaba a punto de salir de la tienda, y la mujer que me sirvió ese día y el día anterior, me pareció molesta y me atendieron groseramente. Cuando vi prepararse mi comida, antes de que la mujer llamara a mi número, ella comió algunos barcos de mi comida que encontré rango. Además, los baños tienen el mismo nivel que su comida. Había poo en el suelo y papel higiénico, lo que hacía que el área apestara. No tengo idea de por qué no fuimos a Burger King.

Fue tan decepcionante que no hubo helados de ningún tipo en un día caluroso de verano, lo que se debe a una mala gestión y una planificación avanzada. La gerencia ha estado al tanto durante semanas de que las ventas serían muy altas debido al clima caluroso excepcional.

Yes it’s McDonalds do you don’t expect fine dining but the staff in the particular store seem to have a chip on their shoulder! Walk that little bit further and go to the one on Queen Street in the city!

Fui a este McDonalds un viernes por la noche, con la certeza de que ya era muy tarde y también puedo entender lo estresante que debe ser en estos momentos. Hice mi pedido en la caja registradora y luego esperé a que llamaran a mi número. 15 minutos pasaron, noté que las personas que habían ordenado después de mí estaban siendo atendidas primero.

On arrival the restaurant was dirty the tables had rubbish on them and not cleaned. No napkins available or sauce. The staff were standing around at the back. It took a manager to say something after being there 15 mins of being there.

Just an average, busy night in Cardiff. The door staff helped my partner with UC and couldn't have been more helpful. Can't remember their names, but one was bald and the other was sporting an impressive beard. 5* service, just simply for their care and consideration

I was waiting for the meal I seen when uber rider walked in he had hat on him because it was raining outside. door man was seating having a chat with his friends he seen the rider told him to take the hat off there was two person front of him wairing hat and two at the back but the door man only told him to take the hat off . I think the door man is being racist towards ubereats rider he should apply to everyone not only the rider who was delivering the food for there customers. Manager please sort it out.

Its Mc Donald's in Wales. Great for a quick bite on the way to a concert or another attraction near by. Why wait for about an hour somewhere else when you can wait 20 minutes maximum here?

I was pleasantly surprised by the price of a breakfast meal.the food was hot and fresh.It was a little busy. I thought they had good choices for the size of this restaurant.

Esta rama particular de McDonald's está idealmente situado en el centro de la ciudad, que era genial después de un comercial de mañana. Sin embargo, encontramos este lugar completamente lleno como un mercado de ganado sin un lugar donde sentarse. Hicimos nuestro pedido para ir y nos sentamos en los bancos cercanos y como éramos 4 de nosotros deberíamos de haber comido en otro lado, pero estábamos demasiado hambre. Como es McDonald's la comida es la norma en cualquier otra sucursal de McDonald's que puede ser inconsistente. Hay un montón de bares y restaurantes a lo largo de High street creo visitaremos uno de esos en el futuro.

Nada especial, servicio estándar de Mcdonald's y comida. Quería escribir esta crítica como una advertencia educado a cualquiera que vaya tarde por la noche (después de las 23:00), ya que es donde los borrachos final, claramente tiene un montón de problemas que tenían dos Tenían porteros en la puerta! ! Nunca he visto que así lo haría una visita rápida de entrada/salida y Mantén un ojo en la cartera.

Visitado por un poco de comida rápida y a pesar de ser ridículamente ocupado el lugar estaba excepcionalmente limpio y el personal era asegurarse de que constantemente nos alojamos en ese camino. El personal era amable y parecía disfrutar de su trabajo (a diferencia de algunas ramas donde todo el personal es antipático) comida era preparada rápidamente y bien caliente y se notaba que había sido recién preparados, en vez de estar allí por un tiempo.

Visited here around 10pm after a night out. The place was dirty, tables cluttered and covered in sauce and spillages not being cleaned up. Staff on table side of the counter strutting around like bouncers but not cleaning anything. Asked one for some napkins to wipe our table, he sent me back to the food counter where I had to wait in the queue again! Their only toilet requires you to have some sort of token to enter, otherwise no toilet facilities for ordinary folk like us. Been to much better McDs than this one. Wouldn't use this one again. Very poor for a major city centre.

Normally I'd love a McDonald's to finish a night out on but this one was awful, over salted chips, dry burgers & no dips? Awful service as if the staff didn't care! What a rubbish way to end a good night out in Cardiff definitely won't be coming back for NYE

This branch of McDonalds is okay, quite large, fairly clean, the Happy Meals didn't come in a different Happy Meal box theme, ie Furbys today. Orders were fast, and the place was busy.

This a very busy branch but other than that it's no different from any other of their restaurants. They have self service machines.
