Mcdonald's Restaurants in Newport

Visited on foot for breakfast, a lovely member of staff offered to bring my food out to me as I had my dogs with me and they don't like being left to wait. She also put an extra treat in the bag for the dogs! Top notch customer service well done Macdonald's

Not the best McDonalds in Newport that store Duffryn store or the one in Spytty park the wosrt one out of the McDonalds i visit in my life

This places is one of the best in Newport really appreciate the had hard work they doing never had a problem

Ordered from them with just eat should have had 3 meals, cheeses nachos and chicken nuggets but we received 4 cokes and 3 mcflurrys. Had to practically force the driver to take the order back. My partner phoned the restaurant and after 10 mins of ringing spoke to someone of the problem was told that my order was still in the restaurant, my partner told her the meals need to be remade as they will be cold. Finally our food arrived freezing cold and the lettuce looked second hand. Very bad service the management in there need replacing

Food is quite nice but seriously!! They never put the sauces in and they always charge you more than it says at the ordering screen! Please sort this out but the food is quite nice

Bought mayo chicken legend had to throug it in the bin as the salad was gone off absolutely disgusting....also bought mayos and hardly any salad or mayo on them

3 times I have been here and driven straight home only to find missing items. I then have to take a 10 minute drive to collect the item only to be made to feel like I am making it up. No apology from the staff. Just turned around and asked the manager who agreed and just gave us the item. An apology could have gone a long way. Complained to McDonald’s as this has happened three times but they are unwilling to reimburse me for my disappointing meals and 3 extra 20 minute round trips I have had to make. Very disappointing.

I am aware that the drive thrus have been busy due to covid 19, however, thats no excuse to be incompetent. Today me and my housemate went to the Mcdonalds drive thru at your store. we orderd 2 big mac meals, we requested 1 with no meat. On the order screen it even said one big mac meal and one big mac meal with no meat. when we arrived at the payment window they tried to charge us for someone else meal so we explained that ours was the 2 big mac, one with no meat. we pulled up to collect our food and they handed us someone else food which we handed back, we then repeated that ours was the 2 big mac meals one with no meat. i checked to make sure the one had no meat and we drove off uppon getting home we found that both meals had no meat. So we explained not one not twice but three times that it was one with no meat yet due to utter lazyness and incompetence I have paid for a big mac meal full price and didn't even get the full meal. I tried to call the restaurant to explain but there was no answer.

after my order was completely wrong going through the drive through I went in store yo get it replaced and I was seen my Emily who managed to correct my order with a few free items and an apology so at the end great service thanks Emily.

Ideal meeting place on a school night as my grandson lives in Newport and I live in Caerphilly. Spotless eating place with hygiene rating 5. Food ok also drinks of choice. Staff are pleasant but perhaps service a little slow.Good car park space, nice to sit outside in Summer and watch traffic. Just across the way from main Retail Park,very useful. We visit quite often. Thank you....

The usual McDonalds menu and restaurant set up. However I was delighted with my chicken wrap salad with balsamic vinegar and Diet Coke. All clean and tidy, well served, clean toilets and good internet access.

love my burgers ,alway fast hot and great value for money .my grandsons love now and again .staff always freindly even when its very busy never have to wait that long

Easy to calm in via drive through to get a much needed coffee to wake myself up for the drive home what more can I say about a Golden Arches coffee ?

Dont like this place at all food is plain and bland often served cold staff are unhelpful it rather tight driviing in often u have to park up and waite for your food all in all a place to avoid

The idea of a fast food outlet is surely to supply food quickly right? Not here. Ten minutes wait for a stone cold wrap? Really?

Firstly, this is about the store In Duffryn, Newport. Visited here with my mum as we just wanted to grab something to eat on the go. Ordered my food and the lady behind the counter said she was going to sort it out, so I popped my card and pin into the card machine and the transaction was approved so I removed my card. However the lady came back and said I hadn't paid, then a manager or some woman called 'Tara' started accusing me of not paying. So they gave me my food, whilst I had to call up my bank (which confirmed the exact time and amount the money had been transferred from my account to McDonald's) which was sat there on the counter whilst this mess was trying to be sorted out. The staff, especially Tara and Sarah I believe we're rude and definitley not customer service friendly! I'm honestly not happy and the staffs behaviours is simply appalling.
