Mcdonalds Restaurants in Kirklees

I started an order at 12. 20 am and kept getting messages saying they were finding new driver . At about 2 am the original order was cancelled. I tried again and same happened then at 3.42 i had a message saying delivered. It wasn't ( no photos available as proof of so called delivery) but a delivery rider was cycling past my house, so i called the shop and was told by a very rude male that they weren't even open and he hung up. They kept my £12.76 though , they have lost a regular customer. I have photos but can't post as i can't edit my details out.

Too many fees for nothing. I paid 25% more for the order for packaging, bags, deliveries, etc. Well, as long as I pay for delivery, I think it's normal for everything to be included in the final price of the products. Through the McDonald's app, the cost was £1.20 cheaper than on UBER, but still £22 for the order and £5.50 for the items listed above and from those £5.50 for delivery is only £2.50. So the total cost is £27.50 ... Shame on you for what you have ended up with.

Avoid this mcds takeout only every weekend now so no access to toilets i am disabled i have a radar key and was refused access to the toilet The food is allways cold and staff don't seem to care also the bouncers are very intimidating to customers and talk down to them I won't be going back

Possibly the worst experience I’ve ever had inside a McDonald’s. Falsely accused of not paying for three burgers by rude kitchen staff. The system went down therefore there was no order numbers coming through. I ended up getting my money back after proving I had paid and being lurched over by intimidating bouncers. Never go here it is possibly the worst place to be in town.

I had ordered a fairly substantial order via the app that's worked like a charm for me in previous visits, however I was treated to one of the most ignorant wait staff I've met, who offered 0 assistance in this situation when I was told via the app to speak to a member of the team to get my order sorted, instead told me to reorder using the kiosk which was out of service, needless to say I didn't get my order, I understand that McDonalds isn't a restaurant where you expect 10/10 service heck I've worked there previously, never projected my vitriol on a customer wanting to sort an order out, needless to say I cannot recommend this particular restaurant for anyone, worth the drive to the few stores that are closer as I've had 100x better service & I actually got my order, can't say I've been involved with such lackluster & disinterested staff while visiting a restaurant, university students may be cheap to employ but the service is appauling, shame really I've been coming to this restautant for years having lived local for a long time, sunk like a stone service wise, can't comment of the food as I never received any, if you want a good experience go to the Waterloo store or the Leeds Road store, both have staff more than willing to help rather than palming you off with a technical issue

First and last time using Uber Eats. Part of our family order was two chicken nuggets happy meals and two cheeseburgers. We received two cheeseburger happy meals and no nuggets and no separate cheeseburgers. There was also a 4 inch scalp hair in a Big Mac and the Coke Zero was completely flat. No answer on the phone from the shop and no response on the night from Uber Eats. Order c4653 at 18:19 on 12th March.

Went in Monday approx 11am my son ordered on the digital screen the meals came and we had to return the fries because they were only lukewarm. It was taking some time so I went to collect them and on my way back I saw a dirty looking man standing near the the area where you empty your rubbish and trays near the door he was using the cloth they use to wipe the tables to clean himself and to wipe his shoes I just wanted to make everyone aware that I informed the manager and she told me that he is always coming in and doing it so I thought well why haven't they put a stop to this poor behaviour I mentioned to the member of staff who worked in that area that she could move the cloth and the sanitizer the man was using away from that area then she told me she had done. I must admit I am going to drop in and just check up on them because I think the answer the manager gave me was very insufficient. Customers of McDonald's in Huddersfield town centre need to know that a local tramp is using the cleaning cloth the staff use, to wipe his clothing and his shoes and then he is going out again.😳😳 If you visit this place please take your own wipes to sanitize the tabletop that you are eating off up to now I was ok with McDonald's but this has really put me off.

Know these reviews are about the store and not delivery, However ordered on Uber eats. My order was missing chicken selects and dips. I emailed the address at the bottom of the receipt two days ago not heard a word. It’s not the first time items have been missing. My partner went through the houses after contacting Uber eats and got deferred eventually to McDonald’s Huddersfield. The last time. Avoid at all costs.

Salal was so friendly and gave us the best customer service, even when they were about to close. fries were lovely x

I was pretty early for work so thought that I would call for some breakfast. Staff very pleasant but disappointed with temperature of food.

what can we say staff friendly very clean but so many homeless outside poor things food good i cannot put 100 words

Late night snack turned into a major ordeal with 2 security and a policeman. All I did was try to point out that the food was cold and the crew member told me “He didn’t care!” Asked to speak to the manager who was equally uninterested...Absolutely shocking!!!

disgusting to go to a worldwide franchise as a paying customer and not be able to use their toilets due to a bad mannered and extremely rude management team. I feel outraged that such an unpleasant human being is able to run a family establishment.

Decent coffee and location. It’s a bit loud and busy but it’s what you expect. Usually quick waiting times.

So went here for brekky Sunday 26th August. Yeah it's a maccys, order came and was wrong. Over greasy, but the coffee is great

Having to queue was the worst thing in here as people who were waiting for orders just hanging around. The food was average the fries could have been hotter but otherwise it was ok. Decided to eat outside as there was no room to sit inside. Unable to eat upstairs as I had a pushchair

A spacious branch on two floors in central Huddersfield, when most of the town's businesses were still shut, this was the ideal breakfast spot on a Sunday morning in early November before catching a train to Manchester. Service was quick and friendly, whilst the upstairs space was deserted although it will naturally get busier during the day. My egg and cheese McMuffin with a hash brown and one of McDonald's now excellent coffees hit the spot and the whole package was splendid value that I couldn't fault.

Does a job - clean , staff polite and friendly . Food served with a smile . Would go back again. Child friendly.

Es MCDONALD'S así que no esperes demasiado. Es un consistente nivel de comida que te dan en cualquier McDonalds se visita en todo el país, pero vale la pena un comentario porque siempre me pareció excelente su servicio, y son capaces de personalizar los pedidos sin problemas o retrasos en el servicio.

Just right place to fill your stomach , anywhere anytime... Remember indians - don't ask for burger , if you wanna have a veg burger... ask for 'veg burger ' or else you will end up eating beef..

Bouncer called me nasty things for cleaning the floor, this was out of order as I was trying to help clean a splatted burger off the floor - out of order

Brought the kids in the half term. We had some offers we'd found on our bus tickets. Made for a cheap lunch.

I normally enjoy the cheap and cheerful service of mcdonalds but not at the Huddersfield branch. I went in at 9.30 and asked for four cheeseburgers and was told that they were not available until 10.30. when I questioned this the serving man (who appeared to have been drinking) become abusive and then told me to go somewhere else if I wasn't happy. AVOID!

What is going on in this McDonald's? It seems they have a bizarre system going akin to argos or the mecca bingo. When you eventually get to the cashier you expect to have the same old system...pay for food, server gets food, food goes in mouth service. Not here. In some weird oddball manager's mind this system works better.....wait ages to give order to suicidal member of staff, they print your receipt and it's slapped down with a hundred others, you are ushered to the 'holding bay' end of the counter with other poor souls, then you wait for your numbers to come up. It could be you! Meanwhile the cashier hasn't gone to hunt for your food but it has gone to a designated gang that stand around what can only be described as pickle podium, making life changing fast food decisions or as you may prefer to call it mistakes. Where is the fillet o fish for 43. Only 3 happy meals for the four hysterical children in the holding bay etc.. I have been in here a few times now as items like modern theatre. The tension the drama and the tragedy. Last time an irate man nearly jumped the counter after the blood/ketchup if the pickle monitor. Anyhow, still waiting as more join the waiting bay can become a little intimate and you may find yourself becoming caught up in a pram tangle but no matter about that.... All eyes are on the prizes! The results are being drawn in no specific order... There is no longer anonymity over what you have ordered... It is there for the masses to judges as the man with the two Cadbury egg mcflurries learnt to his cost! Shame? I think so. Fast food, definitely not. Funny, oh yes definitely!

A centrally located McDonalds, with much the same food you would expect. A pity I did not spot the condiment bar until I came downstairs again, but my main gripe was the wallpaper looked like it was designed by graffiti artists. Hideous and tasteless I presumed it would put off many adults and it was mainly noisy groups of youths who were inside at 5pm. It must have more customers than KFC nearby as they had roped off their staircase, but not a branch I felt very comfortable in. A steep staircase to the first floor and the toilets, but I would recommend a makeover to resemble other McDonalds. Your receipt has a number and your order number is called out.

Let's face it McDonald's isn't gourmet food but what do you expect for the money. We all know what the foods like by now so I won't go on about the quality. Although I would like to inform people of the poor service and disgusting hygiene practices carried out by the staff. The last time I visited this particular McDonald's a little girl was sick on the shared table upstairs. By the time the staff finished chatting and and bothered to come over, a member of the public had already cleaned it up using serviettes. The member of staff that came over looked very annoyed that her conversation had been interrupted to actually do some work. She then proceeded to do one tiny squirt of the disinfectant she was holding in the general area of the sick...gave it "a" and returned to her obviously far more important conversation. This is not my first bad experience with the staff and cleanliness of the McDonalds but it will certainly be my last! If you have the choice I would recommend a small trip down the road to Waterloo where the staff are friendly and the place is kept clean.

I came in today to the branch at kirkgate huddersfield and was disgusted by the way the manage treated a homeless man. I have many times seen this homeless man around and he is a lovely person never rude as soon as he walked in the manager came up to him telling him he has to leave, normally I wouldn't mind but it was cold and raining and all he wanted was a cup of tea and he was going to take it away!!!! The manager continued to belittle this man in front of all the other customers and naturally the man was upset about the situation and voiced his opinion back which I myself would of done as well. Surely he should of been treated with the respect any other customer should be shown but because he was homeless and didn't wear clean clothes he was discriminated again getting a simple cup of tea!!!!! Personally I think the manager of the kirkgate store needs a course in customer service and learn some common courtesy towards people less fortunate than themselves!!!!!!
