Mcdonald's Restaurants in Kingston upon Hull, City of

Probably one of the worst McDonald’s in the country for waiting times, takes about 3 years to get your food. Doesn’t matter if there’s two cars or 30 write off your week

went in there to grab food that took ages the people in were rude bad staff and failed my order except from one staffmember that was quite nice but even then didn’t compensate if you want food in this are might as well just order from a real takeaway that’s nice

Visited tonight after bongos bingo round the corner. For such a big event close by I’d have expected more staff as so many customers came from the event close by. Ordered at 11;11pm, was still waiting at 11:36pm yet the staff was serving the drive through like they were royalty and leaving the inside customers. After asking the staff to at least take in turns with the drive through customers, the manager came out all high and mighty telling me to shut up. I told her I’d been waiting nearly half hour and showed her my printed receipt with the time on it. She snatched it off me telling me I’d not waited that long and she was going to call the police! Told me to get out (which I did as my sister was getting my order for me). As soon as I showed any type of frustration, miraculously my order appears! Absolute joke of a site, you should be ashamed speaking to customers like that. I’ll be in store to make a formal complaint. DO NOT VISIT

For the past 3 weeks I have called into this McDonald's and every time I have ordered I have got the same reply...no McFlurry ..no milkshakes...just been refurbished and still rubbish..!! If I could rate it ZERO I would...spend more time doing telephone and just eat orders than taking time to serve those who have actually travelled to them to order.. it's management is pathetic...!!

today I visited the restraunt with a friend, the service was very good and the drink I had was lovely and cold

Absolute shambles of a McDonald’s, Chips always undercooked (how do you undercook McDonald’s chips?), had to put them in the air fryer when got home so they was edible. Can be three cars in the drive through queue and you can be waiting the same time as 20 cars at another McDonald’s drive thru. Orders are always wrong but not worth the hassle of waiting another half a hour to get it sorted. Kids are crying and the neighbours got a Big Mac stuck to his front window

I couldn't help it...After being stuck in traffic from the city centre, we veered off to this quieter outlet to grab a drink. And added the new tiramisu ice cream to our order. A surprising change and enjoyable too! And had one of the summer menu drinks as well...raspberry ripple! Yum all the way

Every single time it’s either the food is cold. You have to queue a gazzilion hours for your order, or they simply forget something and it’s that busy it’s better just to suck it up that wait another 30mins to get it. It gets worse, they’ve started not filling the drinks to the top with both soft drinks and coffee. It’s inexcusable, but the only way to ever get what you want, is to just go somewhere else and get better service. Uber Eats and Deliveroo Killed McDonalds. Before that. They at least seemed to try.

Janet is so lovely brought my food to me as all my friends were eating and I couldn’t use the machines , she even offered to show me how to do the customisation!!! Lovely service thank you !! One on cott road

We rarely visit McDonald's , despite being busy, we were struck with the politeness and friendliness of staff operating the drive through.

Time and time again we order from here and it’s always wrong! Either items missing or Luke warm! Tonight there was 5 items missing and the coke was flat! How can you get it so wrong? They need to work in better partnership with their couriers so the couriers can check they have everything on the receipt before they leave! Finally learnt my lesson never will I ever go to this branch again. I’m done!

Was very pleased with the set up. Shown to our table and ordered from there. Was brought to our table. Lovely staff. My one grumble is my cheese burger was Luke warm. Not freshly cooked. But still enjoyed .

For the last 3 visits, food has been warm or even cold.Unable to return food due to long queues. Will not visit here again.

Popped here to grab a meal in the drive through. Opted for the new bacon double meal ...disappointed as the burgers were dry and the cheese was not melted. Even the chips were slightly soggy...the only good thing was the ice cream and milkshake. Had I not been to a family funeral, I might have gone back to coming but just didn't have time. Next time, hopefully they will do better next time.

Popped to this so called fast food outlet on my 30 min break, waited in drive through for 15 mins on paying got my very simple order wrong on collection tried to give me wrong order then told to wait.. Approx 25 min past, I knocked on window to be ignored eventually someone came and told rudelyme not to knock on the window, eventually food given cold so all went in the bin. Manager needs to sort out staff as they are obviously not up to the job.. Won't be returning

Absolutely disgusted after finishing work at 22:00 - had to wait 20mins to get our order ,after asking how long it will be the manager was very rude and shrugged us off as if we were not there. The order finally came but after getting home 22:40 we discovered the food was luke warm and there were no sauces (paid for as part of the meal option) which may sound a little trivial, but are an integral part of the meal in my opinion. We called the branch, the manager came across as very insincere and told us the only way they can help is if we drive all the way back with the food. Very disappointed.

Asked for 2 Large fries. They gave medium and they didn't give a receipt so you couldn't even query it. Plus, the fries were cold which isn't great considering it's Drive-Thru. Not impressed.I know they are busy but the order comes on the screen so they can double check.

The disgust of our visit to McDonald’s today when me and 3 staff come with 3 severely disabled young adults, where we was TOLD our clients couldn’t come in without a mask when they are exempt. Our clients where made to wait outside and eat their food OUTSIDE. The management here is appalling, refusing to let them in and making our clients feel so belittled. Taking the independence away from 3 clients is a disgrace. Never again will we return

My experience today was truly bizarre. I ordered a happy meal (with book) amongst other things to take away. When I was called forward I was reminded of a recent experience in central York when a toy arrived instead of a book. At this point I took the opportunity to ask if the happy meal contained a book and not a toy. The young chap behind the counter undid the box to check and found a toy which was removed. He then went to get the book to put in the box. He was then called over by his manager "I assume" to say he wasn't to handle anything with his bare hands. He promptly put it in a paper bag then put some disposable gloves on and placed it in the box. So far as to say the damage had already been done.I sincerely hope the young the man in question didn't get into trouble but instead the person who put the incorrect item in the box in the first place did.I appreciate these are challenging times and I applaud McDonalds for their efforts but the practices need to be simplified in order to avoid error. #The World's gone mad.

We called in for a quick bite whilst visiting Hull. The staff were friendly, the place was well managed, and more importantly it was extremely clean.

When we are moving kids around between A and B with not much time, it has always been a quick win.On this occasion, this was exactly the case. Or so I thought.I pulled into the drive thru lane and expected to be ordering fairly quickly. After about 2 minutes, it was apparent that this wasn't going to be the case.Finally, I got to order and pulled round to the payment counter. It was apparent, even at distance, that the young lady working on the paynent counter didn't know what she was doing.However, no one came to help her or go find out why customers were moving slowly through the drive thru lane, or why the volume of traffic was building up.After a few more minutes, I was able to pay and edged forward to collect the food. The staff serving the food didn't have a clue either and were totally confused as to what was being served to who.Finally getting the food I had paid for, we set off. As we drove away, I was told by my child in the back that "this is cold!" I pulled over to check and have to say that it was not only cold but it was freezing. The food had obviously been stood for a good amount of time to cool down. In my opinion, it shouldn't have been served.We didn't have time to go back and put this right, but to be honest, even if we had, I'm not sure we would have got a satisfactory response.The food was cold and the service was poor. I won't be back.

Food came wrong after 20 minutes of waiting. Salary what’s all mouldy chips were cold. Also food in preparation area was all over the floor Dirty tables manager didn’t seam to care when I spoke to him as he ignored me.

We popped here to pick up and ice cream for my husband and a drink for myself. Service was fast and staff polite and helpful. Reasonably priced, good quality products and will use again when in the area. Small car park which was full, so parked on Cottingham Road, so not ideal if really busy.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon during a university drop off ! The car park was chaotic as cars waiting for the drive thru were blocking all the available spaces for people wanting to eat in . Order was taken (76) and we waited for the best part of 15 minutes watching as orders up to number 89 were served before us . Foe me the priority in this place is the drive thru orders and home delivery service . Fine but DO NOT neglect dine in customers . Obviously not an isolated incident as other customers were complaining as well ! To top it all on leaving a delivery driver in a large truck had blocked the one way exit leaving customers having to wait in the drive thru queue !

Truly terrible service, rude drive through staff tonight, Cold Food nearly inedible, charged for an item not requested, totally wrong in every respect, no napkins,no tom sauce , 5 curry sauces..like WHY? Awful experience will NEVER go there again, its been getting worse over the last few months but tonight is appalling.

I’ve started ordering from yourselves via the Uber eats app and so far have had no problems. However, today we got sent the wrong order. Not one item we ordered was correct we could not eat any of it. After ringing up McDonald’s they simply said that they gave the wrong order to the driver and for us to contact Uber eats. They did not offer a replacement order which let’s be honest would have cost them nothing and they did not give us any contact information for Uber eats. We now are £15 down and have an order which is nothing like we ordered. Very very disappointed with you McDonald’s and I am very angry at your customer services department.

Once again we tried the macs drive through for a quick breakfast, big mistake ..once again it was cold, tasted like it had been precooked and left till a sale and had a quick inadequate re heat, the drive through is appalling they either get the order wrong missing bits off or out completely ,or its cold , terrible service here - will not be taken in again, if Kingwood can get it right why not here.

can rely on good service very clean smart staff orders alway right food hot when you get home if you are taking it away

McDonalds is somewhere I rarely visit and I certainly won't be visiting this one any time soon. Having waited 15 minutes we saw the number pop up as food ready for it to disappear again off screen. My husband asked about it and was told the food was still being prepared as they took his burger away leaving mine on the prep area, 6 minutes later another one was put into the bag with mine and the fries as if it had just been completed, consequently the rest of the food was cold. My husband told the server and was told they would do another order for us but as we had been waiting nearly 30 minutes we asked for our money back. The disgraceful thing was there was a backlog of food waiting to be served to the long queue of people waiting inside while the orders for the drive through were going out. Fast food this is not and the staff really need to get their act together.

Visited here with my family, It was really clean compared to other Mcdonalds I have visited. Food arrived quickly and was hot. it was very clean and the food

Called in for my usual large Big Mac meal & Dairy Milk McFlurry, using the drive thru lane, at the Cottingham Rd. McDonald's.

Came to mcdeees for tea you Carnt beat it absolutely yumi indeed Carnt fault it in any way . Easy ordering .no quews. Got offered a balloon for our 5 year old she was so happy

Not a bad restaurant but the main issue we had was time from ordering to collection. 5-10 plus for a veggie sandwich and longer than I've had in other McDonald's.

This Mcdonalds can never seem to provide hot food or even correct orders on the drive through, today warmish coffee, no sugar provided, no barbie sauce so given sour cream/chive...with burger...REALLY, the chips are always luke warm at best. This is sat eating in the car after just collecting order, this isnt the first time we've had cold food but it will be the last !

very friendly staff, very fast service using modern equipment and the usual quality of a fast food of this type. A very good place for a cup of coffee or for a quick lunch.

ok as far as fast food goes, although not so fast some times - can get quite busy. but in all Mcdonald's is the same anywhere

The food is always slow to arrive and only ever lukewarm, takeaways are never complete always something missing.

Popped into the Holderness road, Hull McDonald's today on the way home. Yes it was really busy but the staff serving were trying to serve us poor starving customers, the way cattle get hustled through at market. The customer service from them was utter crap....

It is used a lot by students who are not the tidiest of people so it always looks messy as they do not clear their tables Food as you always find in a macdonalds

This is our nearest mcds which is a real shame as the food has gone downhill lately, we used the drive through and food came out luke warm, they got the order wrong and the milkshake machine wasn't working, think we might start using other places from now on.

Been to this drive through on a few occasions I always find the staff rude ignorant and miserable they never say please or thank you and more or less throw your food at you, I asked for some ketchup and you would have thought I had just swore at her with the looks she gave me. No need at all !! Oh yeah let's not forget that they always miss something off the meals so now I check it all before I leave the window.

There isn't much you can write about a McDonald's. You know what you're getting, you know the menu it's pretty standard. What you can measure though is the cleanliness of the restaurant and the attitude of the staff which does vary from restaurant to restaurant. I'm pleased to say this McDonald's was very clean, not many tables had the residue of past customers left on them and as I entered there was a staff member mopping the floor and cleaning up.The staff were friendly and polite, the service was quick and overall I felt comfortable sitting and having my meal without being surrounded by litter.There is free wifi available, power assisted doors and access for buggies and wheel chairs is easy; there are also baby changing facilities. All in all a good clean restaurant with pleasant staff.

I've used this McDonald's for years and I've never had a problem with the food or staff.Personally I think it is one of the better McDonald's as the ordering is pretty much perfect everytime.We also eat at Goodfellowship across the road and if our 3 year old won't eat in there it is always ideal to grab him an happy meal on the way home.I would recommend..

McDonalds is pretty much the same everywhere, fake foods that surprisingly taste nice, greasy tables and mucky windows. Staff here aren't pleasant. Be careful, sometimes you ask for a meal, you get a happy meal or a peice of grass in your burger. HAPPY EATING.

Cheap, easy and tasty... If you like food that's fast! Only complaint is every now and then, the food is cold and the food advertised on the posters is nothing like the food you receive.

its the same as any other fast food joint basically, they keep it clean, they are friendly and pleasant im happy to go there although its not often

food is cheap and ideal for snacking. staff not always happy to be at work but the food always tastes good.

We went to this McDonalds as a finishing part of great birthday party of my daughter's friend. Although organised in advance for 10 "Happy Meals" we had to wait about 15 minutes but the worst thing was the place was filthy. We've spent there about an hour but no one attempted to clean up. The ketchup in dispenser run out and someone tried to change it but obviously give up half way through. The staff was really unhelpful and we decided on the spot that we won't be coming back.
