if you enjoy poor service, forever inaccurate orders, and getting robbed from the from team mcds and uber you come to the right place. over the course of a few months had more incorrect orders then correct using both the app and drive through. using drive through when checking before leaving to ensure due to staff have more time to standing around talking thank spending the time checking correct items for the order and half filled portion of cold chips to go with the meal that you ordered with the missing burger. we all have a bad experience every so often and we overlook them but when 3-4 back to back. mc Donald's nor uber take responsibility on the so called service they provide if things go wrong with the order on the app so spending hours with uber, to fight and prove that you are entitled to partial/refund is a joke each and every time (yes you have to protect yourself from scammers i understand this (but you are the scammer for this when we can provide photo or video evidence)) this is in violation of consumer rights this is also backed up on many forums with poor order accuracy and support for the consumer (should check online reviews and forums to reflect of the service)

Ordered three meals on the McDonald’s app. Not only did it take ONE HOUR to be delivered despite initially being given a 30 minute time slot but one of the burgers was missing! A family member went to the restaurant to request the missing burger but they refused to give a replacement or even give a refund, claiming that because it was done on the McDonald’s app that we’d have to challenge through there. No empathy or understanding. This is not the first time this branch has missed items. This was one time too many. AVOID!!!

Ordered on the McDonald's app for local delivery. Food arrived 1hour 20mins later - stone cold. Tried to raise a complaint on the app - tells you to complain to Uber on the text previously received about delivery. I then went through the Uber site to complain about the cold food and was advised the food was delivered within a reasonable time frame- I queried further as to why the food was cold - the representative ended the chat. I'm now speaking to another representative asking why the food was delivered cold. I understand food looses heat in transport, but this was as if the food had been left outside for half and hour it was that cold !

They never include any dips or even dressing for salad, tried ordering twice (benefit of the doubt). Bit miffed. When asked for a refund they said the dips were only available if in stock. So, dry nuggets, Chicken selects, salad (yeah I know, salad from McDonalds... but c'mon)

I hope this is read by a manager of Principle Restaurants Ltd, the McDonalds franchisee for this particular Mcdonald's. I visited on 28th May, paying for my food at 20:47, and eating in. My food turned up more or less cold, chucked together and with approximately 12 Rich Tomato dips, not the single dip I ordered. These were chucked onto the service tray, all part of the general messing about that was going on at the time. Grumpy, indifferent customer service, with groups of your employees stood around doing absolutely nothing. I hope a manager gets down there and redirects the team. It may have been a one-off occurrence but if I was paying out the salaries I would want a far more engaged and productive team. Fair play and thanks to 'Max' who was super helpful and also seemed to be one of very few getting on with his duties.

The majority of the staff as just awful, there are a couple of exceptions but generally the staff are rude, slow and spend more time laughing between themselves or talking utter rubbish. Today 4 of the younger staff all spent around 5 mins whispering to each other and giggling whilst all turning around to look at you making it VERY obvious they are talking about you. After they’ve left you waiting there for around 10 mins without any service and then I had the cheek to ask to be served and not annoyed which then lead to the whispering and giggling. I know you have to be a T**T to work there but come on do you they not even need basic manners to be hired there!? Oh and if you ask for something to be taken out for example a pickle you can put your life on it you’ll have double the amount of pickles added. And finally some of their personal hygiene is lacking massively!

One word sums it up disgusting! I paid for 2 big tasty meals. I asked for one to have no sauce. It had sauce so sent it back. Young staff members giggling like idiots. They said wait in the parking bay and we will bring over. Staff member brought it over it looked like it was made by a 5 year old. Burger was in bits. It just looked absolutely vile. I should have taken a picture but was so annoyed just threw it in the bin..what a waste of money. Would not eat here again if it was free. I do not want to give one star its not deserved. Only one staff member tried to do her best and sort out my order. The young lady was on the till/ drive through. It was busy but she left her post to go into the kitchen. The only staff member who behaved professionally. I thank you!

Definitely not 24 hours. Started queuing up for drive through but ordered on the app for pick up so payed and left the queue to park up. When we went to go in the door was locked and a staff member came to inform us we would need to rejoin the queue. Many others left at this point because they were on foot and therefore unable to join the drive through. The service was extremely slow which given it was an event weekend you would expect more staff. This was at 6:30 am so not particularly early either. Generally the gentleman who spoke to me was rude and poor service on the whole with no 24 hour service inside.

Waited over half an hour to pick up a happy meal for my son, only to discover once home they hadn't bothered to include the chicken nuggets only stone cold chips. I wouldn't be so bothered if this was a one off but missing items is usually the case at this McDonalds so I always check the bag however I didn't expect to have to check inside the happy meal box too ! I have rated the food as low value for money as when you keep paying for food and then not actually getting the food you may as well throw your money in the bin

This restaurant if you can call it that has got worse every time we have been there. Since covid restrictions were lifted the service has gone downhill. Staff simply cannot cope with demand. Maybe it’s time to close it during periods rather than let me sit in a drive through queue for 30 minutes to miss breakfast by a few minutes? When in the drive through you are stuck, there is nothing you can do. Ordering something else was a bad mistake too. 20 minutes to wait then received stone cold chips with no apology. What a joke this place has become

This is the second time this month we have attempted to eat here. The first time we sat in, our food took ages to come to our table and then it was all stone cold. My children weren’t very happy as it was for a treat, we asked for it to come back out hot and we were told that they would refund our money instead of the food and then shut the whole of the restaurant down!? Asked everyone to leave & turned all the cars away that had queued for the drive through. We have attempted to go through the drive-through today. It is rammed, can’t even turn around to leave the area! I have used this McDonald’s many times before and I’ve never had the issues. I’ve had the last couple of months but I’ve attempted to go. It has gone extremely downhill and will not be coming back again.

I attempted to visit the McDonald’s at Crossbush as a celebration of being out of hospital for a week. They allowed people to eat in and there was clearly tables available to sit at.Not only was the man at the door really rude, he then claimed that it was takeaway only because of capacity. I visited Macdonalds at Cross Bush services whilst being stuck in a horrendous traffic jam midday on Monday 16th July. I managed to pullover to the restaurant to stop for a welcome break. I had a burger and salad. The meal was good and staff efficient. I was dismayed to see the complimentary phone chargers were not working. I had a long journey home to Gloucestershire and my phone was running low in energy. I was a sole female traveller and was delighted that Emma (on lobby) notified her manager Ben, who was equally helpful and arranged for me to charge my mobile. I spent a relaxing time with my refreshments until the traffic died down a bit. I felt relieved and grateful and felt these members of staff needed a special mention.

I sat down in this busy restaurant after trying to find a seat for 10 minutes and i ordered a double cheeseburger and chips and asked for table service. After an almost 10 minute wait an employee by the name of Tom, must of been mid to high teens, came over with my tray and whilst approaching the table he sneezed. As he done this he lifted the tray to his mouth and sneezed all over my chips. After asking for new chips he told me that 'they're fine' and to 'do one'.

The staff were very much “on the ball” very attentive especially the friendly guy on general duties (clearing tables etc) - the food was as described- what Macdonalds advertise. I haven’t been to this drive thru McDonalds after a previous visit where we were told to park up and wait. Having waiting 30 mins and still no food I went inside. To be told they had been to our car twice but no one was in it! There were 2 adults and 2 children in the car who had fallen asleep waiting. But when they asked me what car I was in they didn’t have any details and the only outstanding order (for the same food) was registered to another car! Therefore they had obviously taken down the wrong car and number plate. The boy was about to then give me the cold food that had been sat waiting until the manager interjected and re did my order.

I've literally just got back from Mcdonalds wanted something quick and easy food was stone cold and my motzerella dippers have been paid for but no where to been seen and its to late as I'm already home. Used to go to this McDonalds instead of our local Worthing store as the food was at least always hot, well not anymore! I dont know whats changed but its certainly not for the better since the addition of the self serve screens, and on this occasion even they werent working properly! No receipt issued by the machine meant we didnt know our order no? asked for help and got asked what number machine did you use? well how do we know??? the staff member really didnt care to be honest. When the order did come out half of it was missing, no dips with the dippers, the flat white coffees were not even half full and cold as were the burgers and fries. The milkshake machine wasn't working and neither was the hot chocolate machine. A complete waste of time and money. If you want hot food drive down into Littlehampton where there are plenty of takeaways, thats what we will do in future!

Visited on a Friday evening (about 22.45). What on earth is the point of having 2 lanes going into one. Sat in the backed up queue for 10 minutes when we finally got to pay. Apparently stuffing the card machine through the window and not getting even the slightest of recognition that we were there goes for good customer service. Our food, minus the fries, was delivered promptly. After sorting that out (it was the bag sitting next to ours) we were not offered and dips for the nuggets. Driving out the surrounding area was just a mess. Every bin outside was overflowing.

My four year old granddaughter asked if we could finish our lovely morning out at old macdonald's for lunch. The sun was shining and so we sat out in the outdoor area. It was not too busy and the four of us enjoyed our lunch. ( Well not my ten week old grandson!!) as we were about to leave, some delightful dog owner had allowed their "pet" to foul on the grass and my poor daughter in law wheeled the buggy over the grass... after having a lovely lunch all together, she then had to set about cleaning the wheel off....not pleasant. Dogs should not be allowed into areas where young children are and especially not where they are eating. Spoilt the whole experience....

I use McDonald's for there super fast wifi and it's been a week since my last visit, the wifi wasn't working then and still isn't working now. The girl said she would ask the manager but no one seems to care and no manager appeared. Last time I was told atmospheric conditions can cause problems????? Surely it comes in by cable and as I am inside the building distance is not a issue so not sure how these atmospheric conditions cause problems. I think the answer is use McDonald's but just not at crossbush.

As far as McDonalds go, this one isn't anything special. Since the refit i find myself having to ask customers whether they're waiting to order, or whether they've ordered to avoid another episode of 'Angry confrontation' or "I was first" about the lack of service received before I go and order, staff make NO effort to defuse the situation. Hate the fact my drinks are made 10 minutes before receiving my food. As a previous McDonalds employee myself, I find it hard to understand how it can be so wrong so often. Also, McDonalds contributing to parents bringing kids up on iPads, but having them at the tables, terrible idea! Luckily my son isn't bothered by them.

Drive through service is slow, usually three people watching one work, sometimes have to wait ten minutes to just pick up a coffee; and the hot chocolate machine spends a lot of time not working, and when it does work the drink looks and tastes like brown water. The problem is compounded if you are not a coffee drinker and would like a hot drink, perhaps they could come up with an alternative?My wife and i visit four McDonald's regularly for coffee and this is the only one we get trouble from this one.

I felt the menu was ok as long as you eat meat. I did not order but my husband did and waited a long time to receive his order. We only used this as we discovered the hotel where we staying no longer did food except breakfast.

First visit since refit, all started so positive. Extra parking spaces, outside searing area (although farm pong may put some off) and i think better drive through - never used drive through so not 100% sure.Inside its all very different with more space for people to wait - which is a good thing as you may be waiting a long time.Difficult to say if more seating, always an issue at this restaurant and still is. Yes it was Friday 7pm so expect busy, but this took busy to a new low. Think we must have stumbled on a 4 year olds birthday party as every table was full of very young children colouring in things but doing little eating - possibly a good thing health wise but not so great for a hungry crow at end of a long car journey.Cleanliness, especially with a clientele with average of 4, was not great, but after previous trips, as expected. Its not for want of trying, as there was one solitary poor sole trying to keep both inside and out clean and empty bins. She did a grand job but far too much to ask one person.When we eventually got our food, it was better than previous trips but, so it transpires, everything seemed to being prepared to order. So whilst freshly prepared, the long old wait was ridiculously and unacceptably long. And i am sure the 15 other groups waiting with us all thought the same.

On the occasion I have needed a quick meal (lunch or dinner) I have never been happy with the usual (meal standard) - especially the drive through. The food here is often at the limit or past limits in terms of freshness...its one thing or the other (meat or fries or both).. Gave it a couple of tries thinking it may be a shift pattern issue - but no, it's regularly below par......shame!!

Its a well run Mcdonalds. Excellrent quick break for the weary traveller. Especially useful as a fuel stop/traffic avoidance measure if you are travelling west on the A27 approaching Arundel. Avoids the awful queues.

This McD has become a family habit, as the crow flies, it marks the end of a long journey and start of time away from home. As a result, MrCrow Jr. always looks forward to his McD.Unfortunately, for MrCrow, it is never an enjoyable experience and never looked forward to.The fear and dread starts with the parking and whether they have coned of literally half the car park on the off chance that the delivery lorry may arrive at the busiest time of the day. Thankfully MrCrow Jr. is learning that this is a sign that one must pass on through.Often long queues form possibly due to the inability of the staff to cope with basic serving or people hanging around waiting for a table in the woefully small seating area.Food quality wise, its not unheard of for burgers to be returned, not once but multiple times - a very rare thing for MrCrow who is always to gratefully receive any old scraps of food. But somehow, the staff at this McD manage to either squash a burger to half its thickness or somehow stick it to the inside of the cardboard box so that it cannot be removed in one piece, or both.Add this to their ability to over salt the chips, it really leaves a bad taste in ones mouth after every visit.I think I agree with another unfortunate punter. Yes, this is consistently the worse McD's that MrCrow have ever visited.

Have popped in 3 times during the last month and still no sign of improvement .chips/French fries frequently cold so you take them back and by the time they are replaced your burger is cold. Staffing seems very hit or missManagement/supervisors do not seem to be customer orientated. Will not be returning.

We didn't actually get as far as eating as we have never been in such a dirty, untidy place and it was completely off putting.The bins were completely overflowing with rubbish and trays piled up around the bins and tables and the floor covered in rubbish, food and unclean.There appeared to be a few staff but no one attending to the mess, quite oblivious.With a chain like McDonalds they should know better regarding health and hygiene.Very disappointing

We enjoy the occasional coffee at McDonald's, and have been to quite a few of their restaurants. As a rule, the coffee is good and hot. If it isn't, we take it back and ask for replacements. However, today we visited McDonald's at Crossbush (Lyminster Road). The coffee was hot, but the tables were not being cleaned and the place was generally messy. One particular table near us had been left with food all over it, plus the seats and the floor. A young girl eventually came over with a cloth and cleaning spray. She sprayed the table, then put the spray on the messy seat while she wiped the table. She then took the cloth and spray and walked away. I hoped she would return to clean the seat and floor, but she didn't.This is a busy McDonald's and it was getting towards the end of their breakfast time. However, although it was Saturday, we could have been inspectors and would have given them a low mark for cleanliness.Two McDonald's in West Sussex have closed in the past year - those in Horsham town centre and Bognor Regis town centre. This must have resulted in loss of jobs for their staff. It would be a pity if the same thing happened at Crossbush because of lack of cleanliness. I only hope our experience was a "one-off". Management, please take note.

The kids choice, they could have gone anywhere but chose McDonalds!Happy Meal each for them - one nuggets and the other a cheeseburger, fries and chocolate milkshake each - along with a toy/gift. Not bad for £2.49 each.Not the cleanest McDonalds we have ever visited. The staff though were polite and efficient. Loads of wasps in the seating area outside so we retreated to the car, at my boys request.Good for convenience I suppose. Not a place of my choosing. Curry for me tonight instead!

Drove in car park and parked. Stink of Food coming from extractor fans across the car park - not very nice - should have been a warning. Ground under the surrounding hedge was littered with discarded drinks cups, straw wrappers etc. Went inside - generally looked grubby - second warning. Board with seasonal specials - items no longer available. Why not? I had Big Mac and fries - it was cold. Husband had the Chicken whatevers with Chilli Dip. They looked as if they had been fried a dozen times. Fried Shoe leather was the comment. Grandchilds burger in paper so greasy. When we went to put our leftovers etc in the bin it was jammed full with cartoons etc. Does noone empty them Will never ever go to this place again.

Service was awful and chaotic. Managers just wandering about. Staff tripping each other. Drive trough orders backed up. Staff take to many orders at once and lose track meaning nobody gets their food very fast. Disgrace compared to McDonald's US outlets where the company standards are maintained.

Stopped for a drink and to get a snack for the kids. The coffee was actually quite good. The food, I didn't taste it, there was a 15 minute wait for a cold un-appetizing looking 'Happy Meal', which was purchased for our five year old son who's only reason for the meal was for the Minion toy that came with it. On a positive note, he did eat everything!

People avoid this take away the food is really poor ie portion sizes quality, I ordered scampi which Tom has 10 of the most tiniest pieces of bread crumb only know scampi in them at all, and I also ordered a large cod and chips which was absolutely revolting. My brother-in-law ordered the same and the portion size of the fish was so small you couldn’t even consider it to be a small portion. Absolute rip-off. Avoid avoid avoid

Apart from the small Schar bun to large chicken ratio,😆 my gluten free chicken burger actually made me feel normal for once!🥹 (Definitely not complaining about the size! I’d rather that, than the chicken be too small for the bun! Definitely worth the price) The chicken is proper breast fillet and not just processed meat, and it was battered with the perfect seasonings 😚👌 It 100% quelled my chicken burger cravings! I will definitely be coming back for more soon
