When ordering a delivery, is it unreasonable to expect to receive what you actually ordered? If this were an isolated occurrence yesterday, I would let it pass as human error, but I don’t think I’ve had a delivery that was correct in over SIX MONTHS! To make matters worse, When you wish to raise a complaint, you have to do it through the delivery partner! WTH???? Duncan the Uber delivery driver didn’t go into the kitchen and pick the order for me! That, McDonalds, falls to the incompetence of your personnel. I ordered meals with Large Strawberry Lemonade (extra premiums paid for these drinks, and what did I receive……..BOTTLED WATER! For goodness sake, sort this shambles out. Get some quality control in place.

My daughter is called Vivi. There was a young girl working also called Vivi. She came over to show our daughter her name badge and my daughter was mesmerised by her. First time she’s met another Vivi! The lovely Vivi then proceeded to chat all things with her and give her a cuddle and promise they’re friends now. My daughter found her before we left to say goodbye and it made her trip over to see Nanny the best trip! Her engagement with our 5 year old was so wonderful we had to leave a review!

Quick service (particularly for drive through customers) and generally speaking the restaurant area is kept clean and tidy.

Do not ever order from here food was stone cold staff are rude and unhelful. £25 order, couldn't eat it and apparently couldn't get it changed as “they issued it to a third party” absolutely shocking.

The food is generally OK, but I felt sorry for the food delivery person as he was stood at the counter waiting for his delivery, while his bagged up food was sat on a shelf behind the counter while staff were walking past it, and didn't give it to him for ages, so probably got cold. I worked in a McDonalds part time while at school years ago, and we used to be told to keep it clean, such as often mopping the floor, but not like now with also the Chippenham branch, as the floor feels dangerously slippery with grease.

Never reviewed fast food outlets before but felt it was important to recognise the hardworking staff on this visit. Food was as to be expected and no complaints, delivered to out table swiftly and with a smile. Always good coffee and no issue with Coke Zero. Staff were brilliant, friendly and welcoming and ensuring the place was kept clean and tidy, when customers left without clearing their tray and debris, the two staff working on the shop floor promptly cleared it away and disinfected the table, no grumbles at all ( I was grumpy at the lack of consideration from the customers !!) Lovely to see staff interacting with children and reassuring a mum who apologised for her son leaving a bit of a mess with his food. The staff member simply reassured her he could clear it. We ordered too many deserts by accident and the staff server noted our surprise to see 3 rather than 2. He offered to refund us without any hesitation, we opted to eat all 3 though!!!! Thank you for a very pleasant experience. Well done to all the staff on Thursday

The food has always been okay HOWEVER, for the fifth time in a row, there hasn’t been any syrup in my toffee latte. I enjoy my coffee with or without the syrup but when you are paying that much extra for it, I’d expect the syrup to be added. As a former McDonalds employee, I don’t understand how they make this mistake time and time again. It’s really not that hard to follow the correct process.

Cold chips, only 4 chicken in a 5select meal, zero cola had zero flavour and no fizz!! No serviettes provided - dreadful

I enjoyed our time here last week. I had a nice sub and my wife the mc plant burger. We purchased items from aldi next door to get parking. As parking is limited here. Quick service and easy to order

Never considered reviewing Mcdonalds but here goes. Family breakfast, we do it every few weeks. We love a MsD's breakfast, good choice, quick and easy. Place is always spotless and friendly staff.

Manager said he would refund me after the second soggy burger that had made the bun break up ...that it fell apart as soon as I picked it up ...the manager said he would refund me then he said would I like anything else to take away as sorry ...he then came bk with just the coffee and I asked him about the refund as he didn't bring it and he denied that he offered the refund ...not only did I not have a burger I ended up with just a drink that was half the cost I paid for the burger ...not a happy customer

At the end of the day McDonald’s is fast food and is what it is, but I still expect a clean environment. Sadly today this was not so, dirty tables, dirty floor, dirty toilets and bin overflowing. Unfortunately it now seems the focus is on delivery which seems to be overtaking the restaurant. Not enough staff to cope with everything and sadly the thing they’ve dropped is the cleaning.

if you want a long wait in the drive through then this is the place for you, staff look like they dont want to be there

Ordered table service at 0935. Food still not delivered by 0955… When it was served, the tray was just dumped with a monosyllabic apology by a seemingly disinterested staff member; a young lady who couldn’t really care less whether we ate the food or not. There was a constant noisy flow of Home-Delivery drivers who shouted across the restaurant at each other in increasing volumes…the McD staff seems happy for these drivers to park in the Disabled bays whilst a few customers with genuine disability needs struggled to find a space elsewhere. Overall a fairly unpleasant and underwhelming experience.

Made a trip to Melksham this evening 15th July as the milkshake machine was out of service again in Chippenham. So pleased we did! much more pleasant experience all round really. Nicer spaced out uncrowded seating lovely staff thank you to the manager who replaced the oldest granddaughters cheese burger for one without the trimmings, no fuss just speedily bought it to our table with a friendly smile. A special mention to the young gentleman cleaning the tables we think Ajay? for coming over straight away and cleaning our table so that we could be seated taking the time to interact with our youngest 15 month old granddaughter who was quite taken by him and gave the cheekiest smile. Well done Melksham we can't understand why the queue is so long at Chippenham as your leagues ahead.

The slowest drive through I have ever been to!! Took 45 min just to get to the food order point. Then had to wait another 30min for food!! Unbelievably bad, DO NOT go!!!

2x families visited McDonalds in Melksham for a bite to eat at 7pm on the way home after a busy day. First round of food was quick to the table but the the classic mcDonalds cold burgers. Sent them back, 5 minutes later burgers arrived...

I got exactly what i ordered - a cheeseburger happy meal. The transaction was smooth (like their milkshakes). My fries were hot as was my food so all good. No issues.

I have been to every McDonalds in the world and this one, the one in Melksham, is the best one in the world. The best staff in the world, the best Big Mac in the world and the best fries in the world.

Staff polite but ordered a big tasty with bacon. Came home to find that I had a chicken burger! I had travelled home for an hour and didn’t fancy cooking and did not want to be travelling back to the restaurant again. Tried calling but no answer. In the end I have the chicken burger to the dog!

We visited today and went through the drive through. The cars were queued up out of the car park.

On average, service is relatively quick. As I'm a foot fall customer, drive thru seems to get served quicker.

We visit this Restaurant with the kids fairly regularly and the service is always good. The restaurant is fairly clean and has all the mod cons for keeping the kids happy and entertained.

Not much to say about a McDonalds, but of all the McDonalds in the area this is our favourite. The staff are friendly and keep the place nice and clean, and delivery to table service works well as well.

I visited McDonald's a couple of days ago and will not be going back to this branch. Firstly my order was wrong and 2ndly my food was cold & half of my chips where missing. When I asked for my chips and burger to be replaced it was a problem. My big tasty got replaced but the manager - Jenny Clatt told me that I had eaten half my chips and the reason they where cold is because I ordered them 20 mins ago. 1 - My large chips where half empty when I got them and 2 - I had to wait through the drive through to get my replacements, yes I should of gone in but I didnt want to have to get out the car AGAIN to replace my food. Also why would I eat half of my COLD chips, and why replace a Big tasty with Bacon and not the chips?? I work in hospitality and would never dream of telling a customer that they are basically wrong and not even OFFER anything or say sorry. Absolutely appalled by the service by the manager. If she is supposed to be someone the young workers learn from / look up too - well I feel sorry for them! I will not be returning to this branch. I have made a complaint on your website. I was left hungry, disappointed and disgusted by the service I had received. I never really leave reviews like this but to be honest I am shocked by the way I was treated at this branch. I have had cold food / wrong orders before at other branches and its has never been a problem to replace something or get the correct order. I think you need to look at your management team and maybe they need to check the food is hot before serving. £15 order down the drain!!!!

I tend to call here when passing on business, the service always seems very slow particularly at the drive thru. Food is standard fare and ok but the time taken to queue through the drive thru makes a nonsense of the term fast-food

I visited due to Chippenham being closed with regret. The customer service staff were really friendly but the food was stone cold and the tables were dirty, rubbish and food dregs on the table, chairs and floor... uncleared fromprevious visitors. Tables packed & people wandering around the self order bars, doing not a lot!

Popped in for a big Mac meal and coffee. I don't like the American style of ordering and paying for your own food - it's a sign of the times I suppose! However the Xmas coffee are fabulous and the service couldn't be faulted. A staff member cleared our table once we'd finished our food so we didn't have the rubbish on our table whilst chatting and she was very friendly with it...not matter of fact at all. Keep up the good work :-)

Could do with a good clean, not the best for families with young children, as hangout for local youths and the bad language was much to be desired.

I always enjoy coming through the drivethru at Melksham McDonalds as the people there are always so friendly. One in particular always stands out. Myself and Dave for about a year have had a little flirt every time I've ordered. He knows what I want and always gives me a cheeky compliment, tells me he misses me etc. I was devastated to find out that Dave was leaving, what do I do now? Who is going to be my daily pick me up? Gutted. I'm not gay, neither is Dave. But if we were, 10/10 would tap that. Much love big guy xx

Friendly staff, could do with bigger premises as it seems very popular and there wasn’t a lot of spaces to sit. Toilets look like they get cleaned once a day.

Visited at the lunchtime for happy meals and wasn't dissapointed. Quiet often these are just like warm but they were hot - particullay the chips. I always goes for the milkshake (strawberry). Drive through was clean and quick service.

Used the drive through for a quick lunch. Not disappointed - good quick service. Typical McDonalds offerings. I had the Happy Meal with a Christmas Latte. The Christmas Latte was yummy - it's a shame you can't buy these all year round!

Visita a inusualmente bueno mcd's. No ha melksham sucursal antes. Servido por Sophie, que era amable, luminoso y alegre! Otro personal sonriente y amable. Atendida rápidamente, con tuberías de agua caliente. También sat cerca a un grupo de chicos jóvenes, que fueron relajándose, reírse y divertirse, despejó todos sus desordenadas y eran realmente un placer estar alrededor! Gran visita, gracias!!!!!

Metimos a almorzar con mi hijo de 3 años. Ambiente acogedor y el personal es realmente simpático. Mi hija me preguntó si ella estaría como un globo y elegimos la opción Color. Todo el personal atento y amable. Restaurante limpio y ordenado.

Estaba bastante vacío en este sábado a mediodía. Lo que creo que fue debido a que era un día muy soleado y caluroso. Nunca es agradable ver-ng personal colgar alrededor de los contenedores para no fumadores. La comida y el servicio era regular. La máquina de bebidas calientes fuera de orden, así que tuve que tomar una bebida fría en su lugar que realmente no me apetece en el momento.

La principal razón por la que estoy escribiendo este comentario es porque me quedé muy impresionado por el personal de aquí. Pedí extra salsa Big Mac y estaban encantados de obligar; incluso se disculparon porque iba a tomar un poco para preparar su frescura.

All in all this is an incredible restaurant I'm a bit of a regular here and on the weekends I always dine in store for good food and happy faces from kitchen and till members of staff however on a weekday morning I always take my food elsewhere because of the customer care lady on weekdays refuses to leave me to eat in piece. She repeatedly bombards me with stories of her family and past as if I give a damn whilst eating I wish she would clean tables and be quiet but she thinks she can be more if you wish to consume food from this restaurant eat away from store on weekdays

Staff do not seem very interested in customer satisfaction. Tend to use drive thru and 9 times out of 10 either have something missing or Luke warm food. Check your orders thoroughly. Always apologetic when issues pointed out but too repetitive and don't seam to learn from their mistakes

Clean,fast,hot food and service. They pride themselves with doing well for there customers and care for their food. The host went out of her way to make us feel special and comfortable, during our stay and gave my little boy a balloon. I didn't need to wait long as the service at the tills was fast and so my food was fresh and hot. I felt I had good value and I now collect my 6 beans, on my card ,I had on my hot drink , for a free drink. Glad to see that Mcdonalds House ( a place where parents stay over night , who have sick children in the bristol hospital) are raising lots of money but always need more , I would imagine, in such a worthy charity. Everyone had lovely warm smiles and I will definitely be going again.☺

They do burgers and chips and drinks. Never had to wait too long. Never been too dirty. One time the cleaner was a bit rude, and it can take a while for them to make something that isn't already there waiting like a Big Mac. That's why this isn't a 5 star review.

You don't expect wonders or special treatment when you frequent these types of establishments. The people are always friendly and helpful and the food is typically always hot which isn't always a given at these places. Food tastes as expected like McDonald's fast food. The milkshakes especially the vanilla one is fantastic!!!! No complaints - you get what you expect and pay for

everytime we have been through the drive through, we have been asked to park in a bay. several times they have even messed up the order and I have driven home and haven't got all the things I ordered. Fast food......? no chance.
