McDonald's Birmingham Chelmsley Wood in Solihull

Horrible restaurant. Allow kids to vape inside, when they disturb customers, some of the security are very friendly with them and move them away from the disturbed customers to allow them to stay in the restaurant and vape. Whilst not ordering or purchasing? one of the cleaners also was very friendly with the children and after a complaint was risen, gave the customer a funny look and then loudly addressed the disruptive teenagers shouting BYE KIDS all lovely waving them off after her shift. But they’re also being allowed to vape so are they kids or adults? disgusting and I will not have my under 5 year old children inhaling vape in a restaurant. Also the amount of friends getting food poisoning, staff have this week been witnessed touching Raw meat and then salad, following not a single bit of food hygiene, and also seen on Facebook a local family that our neighbours to my family, have been HANDED A BAG OF FOOD FROM CHELMSLEY WOOD MCDONALDS WITH A BLEEDING MOUSE IN IT. Noted staff found this funny when the family returned to the restaurant to complain. Needs closing down all it is is a youth centre for teenagers to doss about and make people feel uncomfortable. Won’t ever use again. The only staff member in this place that needs to be recognised for their hard work and care consistently is Cleveland. He deserves a lot for putting up with that place for so many years as well as being the only one to upkeep it. Alongside his one other employee, a lovely cleaner with long grey hair. Environmental health need to do an unannounced visit on this absolute pig sty of a ‘restaurant’.

This location now bans children under 18 from dining in the store after 5pm. A McDonald's, that used to use a clown to directly advertise to kids, now does not want them in the store. Banning specific trouble makers is never an issue, banning everyone of an age group due to the bad actions of a few is despicable.

Incorrect opening times (the drivethrough may be 24 hours but the 'restaurant' is not. This together with no wifi meant that it was a wasted journey to do some work prior to a meeting

On way from airport so decided to drive thru. All I can say is that the staff on both the payment section and the food collection were very polite, courteous and a pleasure. Youngsters have a bad name these days however these two young people are a credit to both their family and the business.

Place is a complete joke, every time we go they get the order wrong. Management is useless, its that bad we have stop going to that branch from this evening and and would rather drive to another than deal about with those idiots.

Unfortunately the food wasn't very nice at all. Chips tasted like cardboard, burgers were chewy. And oh my god the toilets are bloody horrendous. Disgusting. Was going to photo the other two loos but I didn't as they were worse.

I'm getting dick to death of going to McDonald's restaurants equipped with order screens they don't use because they can't be bothered to press the relevant buttons. As I'm deaf despite wearing hearing aids with the amount of back ground noise in their restaurant, I simply can't hear when my order is ready to collect. Today there were that many uncleared orders on the screen my order simply disappeared and couldn't even be displayed for be to go and collect it. Don't Macdonald's do disability training for staff. But on the food front it was better than normal!

One of the most terrible McDonald's, each time ordering something is missing from the order , regardless of done online or in store.Managment is rude, personnel rude ,never smile at all and the most disgusting that they messing up with orders and somehow it's customer fault ,if I could I put zero Stars for this place

Do not order delivery. Somehow always ends up that either the store or uber eats manages to mess the order up entirely and they blame each other. Staff at this location are the most disrespectful and vile ever known when ‘dealing with a complaint’. The manager on shift would not even give me her first name (in order to make a formal complaint) because she ‘didn’t want to be contacted whilst on holiday about complaints’. Disgusting.

Very quite at midday on Sunday, quick service, I can't complain

Ordered the other night and half the order was missing because the staff didn't read the order properly. When i phoned the bird was very dismissive. Ordered tonight 10/01/2024 and stuff was missing again. They shouldn't employ illiterate staff.

Disgusted! Ordered at the drive through, not the first time they’ve forgotten items! Had to go back round as 3 items were missed and wrong drinks were given. We’ve just almost thrown up over the burgers. They were practically raw, the second patty has pink to it! Patty’s are about half the size of the burger. ( does this look worth over £8 a meal?) Barely any salad to them and just look like they’ve thrown it in a box and not even prepared it properly. Do not recommend and will not be going again!

We ordered through Deliveroo, food was cold and half our order was missing. I wouldn’t recommend for delivery. Shocking for someone visiting Birmingham.

This is one of the worst McDonalds restaurants I've used. Orders on DriveThru are often missing items, the food is very rarely warm and dreadfully prepared, and the main focus of all the staff seems to be UberEats orders and to hell with anything else. I think it's worth the extra 10-15 minutes to drive to Kitts Green or The Fort

It's maccy d what can I say! Food always good, but gets busy here especially if you order delivery, expect to wait a bit and can sometimes be cold, but, if eating in order ordering when quiet it's always spot on!

they’ve messed my order up a number of times, whether it’s going to get it or delivery and i think think what’s the point of working here if you cannot do one simple thing right. cant stand this mcdonald’s and i won’t be going there ever again. awful and disgusting.

Long wait for service. Delivery drivers are making the wait even longer. Too many orders for delivery taking priority .Cold food , 50/50 if your order is right. Rare to have milkshakes as they turn machine off when busy. Unpleasant experience.limp cold food served.

Breakfast orders placed close to 11am will not get made even if they have enough to complete the order they will refuse the complete the order and throw the leftovers food away. Staff members put fries back in the fries prep area and mix them in to the fresh fries if a customers send them back. Staff don’t wash hands moving from area to area some itching there phones and face whal bagging food. Managers ask drivers to fill out fake reviews on the McDonald’s webpage using order receipts customers have left behind. People that order through the app are classed as not customers and are not a priority while the food sits around going cold. Most food given for collections are delivery food that is held back and sat there for some time so they can push collections through making drivers stand around. If u are not a regular driver that sits inside the store your order will be held back so they can do there friends orders first. Staff don’t put dips in the delivery’s if running low. Most drivers hear are using rented accounts to collect delivery’s and sitting in store waiting for a second delivery while the first delivery is going cold.

Burger was cold in parts,never usually an issue when I order on the app

2nd time in a row we have had breakfast food is dry and once we had mould on a McMuffin bun and my mom is allergic to mould and if I didn’t see it before hand she would of got ill and today there was a blond hair that I also saw in my moms McMuffin it’s Discusting check your food and wear hair nets

Cold food, missing items! Same each time. Deliveroo, Just Eat & Macdonalds themselves are all equally to blame. Numerous cooked orders are left on a trolley & the drivers are left waiting, trying to get a staff members attention. Then finally when the driver gets hid orders, they're thrown in his 'heat bag' & left unzipped so your food has been sitting there, on a trolley, cold even before the driver has picked it up!! Total fiasco! & a complete waste of money.

Items were missing from order and not small things, tried to phone them but no one answered, so had to resort going down the refund route. Utterly disappointed.

Item missing from the order, so it meant one person only had fries and a milkshake for a meal. Everyone went to have there meal to find the food was cold. Food had to be thrown away as it wasn’t edible. Complained to Just Eat because we had spent over £47 on the meals. Got an insulting email from Just Eat to compensate us £7.75 for the ruined meals. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL.

McChicken sandwiches were very hard my son refused to eat his after 1 bite and I could only stand 2 bites before giving up on mine it was as if they'd been left our and exposed to the air for too long. Delivery driver did not follow instruction when he called and I told him i would be outside in a moment he started walking off around the block so I had to chase him and shout to get his attention thus dropping my phone in the process

Never get your order correct, hardly able to get milkshakes or mc flurry's. Very slow which at times can be understood but it's meant to be fast food. Overall as a fat man I always feel disappointed with this place and resort to driving to a better prepared location.

Milkshake machine NEVER working, luke-warm food. If you order for delivery, they will replace items without asking or telling you. Hit & Miss on whether you will get your selected sauces/dips too. (Update: in my last 5+ orders, I have not recieved a single sauce/dip even after paying for extra for specific ones. What a joke 💀) (Milkshake machine hasnt been working for the last 7+ months, always 'unavailable'. I finally manage to order one today & was looking forward to it... They delivered coke instead without notice or asking 💀).

The main burger in the meal was missing, other burgers were cold. The chicken selects were stale and hard to chew and the McFlurry was basically a soup. Attrocious, completely ruined meal that we paid a considerable amount of money for. No way of sorting it out other than a potential refund. That doesn’t sort the whole point of ordering food out though. Terrible, terrible experience and puts me off ordering from Just-Eat again, let alone McDonald’s. This sort of rubbish needs to stop.
