The chips were leathery, and of varying different degrees shade, like some had been reheated from earlier. But, i have had them before from you and they have been really lovely, so i am hoping it was just a bleep today.

Worst breakfast ever! Couldn’t even finish it. Sausages taste horrible and bacon was full of black stuff from the dirty fry top. Two of them take 20 minutes to prep the worst breakfast ever. Better go subway next door

Got myself 2 scollop just b4. 1pm and they were loot warm nearly cold and as they was thick. Sone of the potato tasted uncooked Discusting tast. I threw the 1 away

I will never order from coppice again, curry sauce abysmal chips aswell & the pastie why so much greace, it came through 8 the paper it was still in wrapping.

Ordered 2 big breakfasts and can honestly say it left me feeling very disappointed, 1st off coffe weak, 2nd food only items on the plate that were warm and edible was the fried bread and the eggs! The rest of it ie sausages, bacon, tomatoes were almost cold and as for the toast only one side had been cooked (barely) the other side was butterd bread. At a cost of £7 per breakfast i was left underwhelmed by the experience.

Sorry but the food was not nice at all .. chicken wasn’t nice at all mushy had a funny taste don’t know if was chicken or the sauces .. but will say chips were good n curry sauce but kebabs went into the bin

1 star as the service was poor me and my partner went today the chips were oily and the burger was taste less when My partner and I were served the the chips were cold and tasteless despite eating in I’ve been throwing up and and have diarrhoea and my partner has diarrhoea too I wouldn’t recommend at all I paid 13.00£ altogether for tasteless food this place is nasty 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

0 stars respectfully. Gave my whole family food poisoning🤣went in there to get a drink today with my family and we seen a rat no word of a lie. Walked in there seen the rat and we left🤢if I could give no stars I would. Eat at ur own risk

2 Guys took 30 minutes for simple donner kebab and chips meal. When asked for ketchup, they provide Mayonnaise. Kebab tasted anaemic. Also rip off. £6 for very small portion.

Visited today with hubby. Friendly atmosphere, oriented for all, solos, couples and families. Seemed to be a lot of regulars visiting. I've dined alone many times in past due to work commitments and would feel welcome here. No loos on site but available round corner. Meal took a while to arrive for hubby but was relaxing for watching world go by...

masala fish was soggy inside and burnt outside,no salad on mix kebab,very disappointed

Me and my daughter are in the actual shop this week and it was amazing so we thought we would get it delivered this time round as a treat and it arrived absolutely stunning

the battered sausage was rock hard, and looked like it had been sitting there, all day and the lamb kebab was literally dripping grease this has put me off ordering from here again

Come here regularly always a friendly welcome and food is always cooked fresh. My go to place whilst out up the shopping centre

I have been coming to coppice for years now they are a kind caring fish and chippy shop my kids love the food and the milkshakes are amazing at a low price please go and see for yourselves brilliant service and food well done 10 stars 🌟

Always come here for excellent food. Good value for money always get the combo meals which is well priced for what you get. Chips were lovely and one of the best places to go for pizza. Lovely customer service while you wait for it to be freshly cooked

It doesn't deserve even 1 star, the chips were, cold, tasted disgusting, they looked like theyd been thrown back in the fryer to reheat them half a dozen times, think id rather starve than waste my money, in there, clearly cant cook, do yourselves a favour, go to trooper chippy or chelmunds cross, this shop is serving up helpings of food poisoning, the food was that bad

OK so let's set the record straight! Back in the day when The Cypriot Constantinou family had the Coppice it was proper but whoever is running it nowadays ain't got a clue

the chips were bruised and scrappy and the fish tasted old and salty

I came here before football and threw up on my food. The pools was green , my chips were dripping in it and my burger was black. The person I was sitting near had a fish’s and chips and the fish was black!!! Don’t recommend at all

We love this chip shop but today the food was cold the fish had no fish in chips we black and rock hard everything looked old

I would avoid this place like the plague. I ordered tray of kebab meat and the guy thought it was acceptable to put his hands into the salad and dump it on top. Not using any kind of cutlery. And the food was cold and tasteless. The place itself absolutely stinks! And the service is terrible. Avoid avoid avoid!

Chips were undercooked(hard inside) rest was almost cold but we reheated. driver didnt leave with order till over an hour after ordering.

I ordered a sausage and chips, and a mini fish and chips daily special. The portains were quite small and the fish looked as though it had been baking away all day so much that there was hardly any fish inside the batter. Shame because I normally enjoy my food from here.

I ordered a double beef burger and even put on the order instructions no cheese. when my food arrives it had 2 slices of cheese on it. very disappointed with order as company seems not to be able to follow instructions 😕

i wasn't notified that order was outside so it went as good as cold. the keema fish in naan wasn't what i was expecting, there was more batter than fish and the fish meat looked uncooked in areas. won't be ordering from here again unfortunately.

Coppice was our go to place but the last few orders haven't been that nice. Food has a weird aftertaste, like the oil needs changing. Get minimum chips. Large is like a cone.

My food didn't come, yet he took money out of my bank. Judging by the comments about his food, I got off lightly. Go somewhere else for your food, he obviously doesn't care, all he's interested in is money and not in the quality of the food. Disgusting

Delivery was fast but food was undercooked. Contacted the restaurant to be hung up on. Called up again to be spoken to poorly and then hung up on again after he told me I'd get a refund. Don't waste your money.

What a complete waste of money food was cold and the fish I wouldn't call it fish it was slimy and extremely greasy and the batter was burnt. Don't think I'll be ordering from here again.

I don't usually write reviews, but fish and chips here were dry and tasteless, unacceptable. Well overpriced, £8.80 for mini fish & chips with drink. Waiting nearly 15 minutes. Used to enjoy coming here few years ago, but standard has really dipped. Won't be coming again, Subway next door

All ways use this chippy when in chelmsley but had some today and they dry and rock hard. Now got a really bad stomach and am feeling sick. So sad as it used to be a lovely chippy and staff was miserable

The worst Fish and Chips I HAVE EVER HAD, In the area for a meeting we found this chip shop and though a fish and chip lunch was in order. The Name would suggest it was 'fast' but after a 15 - 20 minute wait i had hopes the food was cooked fresh! How wrong I was the Fish came out with hard greasy burnt batter and the fish looked about 10 days old it was sloppy and looked like food pulled from the pet bowl. (coming to think about it my dog would not eat the fish) Neither of us tried more than a bite or two and to be honest it was a bite two many. So slow service, Bad Food, not getting the full order (peas didn't turn up) are all good reasons NEVER to go to this place!

I got sick for a few days after eating the donner kebab and chips. It was not fresh, awful taste and greasy. Chips were oily too. No more at this place as quality is beyond awful. 3 days I was sick I was vomiting. Shut this place down! I don’t know why this place I still open?

Small cardboard like cod for £7 and scallops also the same. Was a shame. Burger was lovely. Husband said chips were nice though. However, overall not sure it would be my first choice to reorder.

Ordered a cod & chips cost £5.50 The cod was not even cod fish It was a cheap river fish called (panga fish) They maybe thought I won’t no the difference I should report them to trading standards for conning customers

I received my meal and was appalled at the food I was sent. The place was rock hard I have pictures but cannot send them to you. The saveloy was hard down one side the scallop was hard on one side. It looks as if I was sent the dinner times left overs that had been kept warm. As a pensioner I cannot afford to waste money or food. I am really not happy about this at all. I would like a full refund. I telephone the chip shop but the manager told me to contact you but I could not find a phone number to talk to someone direct. That was annoying. It would have been so much easier to do that than this rigmarole of messaging. I am really not a happy bunny. Regards Miss J Brown.

I ordered a large meal for my son, and it came as small as a child's portion, quality was good but quantity was poor, takeaways are not cheap, so you expect to get what you pay for.
