Esta es la crítica de una comida que no se recibió! Entonces, salimos de la Autopista después de un largo viaje, pasando BJs y decidió parar y tomar algo de comida en el camino. Algo para nuestro hijo y pollo para nosotros. Paga, ven a casa y muy bien con la comida de tu hijo - nada para nosotros... No hay pollo de cuatro piezas. Llamó al número y nos dicen “estamos demasiado lejos para las entregas y los BJs no hacen eso” siendo eso: arreglar sus errores. Así que podemos pagar la totalidad de los artículos NO recibidos, y su política es que si estamos demasiado lejos para las entregas, (todavía es Birmingham, no Tombuctú) entonces depende de NOSOTROS volver a Shirley y recoger nuestra comida no recibida. Así que su política es: vienes y nos das negocios y si nos equivocamos - estás por tu cuenta. El hombre al teléfono estaba bien hablado, pero con un tono que realmente no se adapta a las quejas de los clientes. Después de decir que no se comunican con sus tiendas y no se esfuerzan por solucionar sus errores - dijo que llamaría a la tienda justo después de que terminara mi llamada - vaya a la figura. Aparentemente, también es imposible para ellos devolver tu dinero si no quieres volver a la tienda - eso está - demasiado lejos de ti para que se molesten... ¿Y en la tienda...? Los dos sirvientes murmuraron una disculpa - metieron pollo en una caja y se lo entregaron - no siento su problema, no hay oferta de nada para compensar el problema de tener que arreglar su error. Ese es nuestro último viaje a BJs. Revisa tu pedido antes de salir, o ve a un establecimiento que sepa tratar con los clientes y los valore.

I'm never eating here again. I ate there for the 3rd time in the last couple of years yesterday. As with every other time I've spent today on the toilet. My gut would be in better shape if I'd bought food from a street vendor in Bangladesh. Clearly either the prep or the hygiene here is well below par. I've learnt my lesson. Never. EVER again. And I urge everyone else to to the same.

Customer service is very appreciated by Mahjabeen. very friendly and cooperative. Food was outstanding and fresh . Staff members are quick and efficient. Highly recommend.visit soon again ❤️

Pizza tasted like cardboard and as if it was made yesterday and not fresh even the cheese wasn't melted and hard . absolutely disgusting and a disgrace .

I can't believe I paid between £7 to £8 pound for a donner meat and chips. I asked for a large and I got small. They need to go to Highgate and learn how to make presentable food and how to put it all together. I asked for the chilli sauce to be on the Donner meat with red onions it's plain. Food or food so the poor, the hungry etc don't get food so we have done allhumdulliah and ate it but the point is as requested the food wasn't made because they got very busy and the portion size wasn't made to payment size and standards. Thank you anyway for taking the time to make it the way you did.

Absolutely awful. Spent £16 on inedible food. The only items that weren't cold and/or stale were the chicken burgers, which unfortunately seem to be about 1% chicken and we're disgusting. I know it's cheap, but the food quality is so low that it's just not value for money.

We had the BEST service from Adil, SaMmar, they went above and beyond to satisfy our order. Nothing was too much. Absolutely fantastic. Were new to the area and we WILL be back. Absolutely fantastic. Brilliant service.

I ordered a mixed pita and told them no cucumbers please and they gave me donner pita with cucumbers would definitely not Recommend coming back to this absolutely sausages

Do not eat here or order from here. The food is vile. Cold out of date food served. This place is a health hazard and should be closed. The fish stinks it was off. Half the food didn't arrive and drinks were spilled. Called the restaurant to complain and the stupid rude man hung up the call like a little cat.

Mi pedido estaba frío a las patatas fritas le faltaba el kebab bueno he publicado una foto de él hacer su propia decisión. El servicio al cliente fue difícil de conseguir, entonces finalmente no me escucharon decir que el kebab era aceptable. Luego procedió a ser grosero conmigo diciendo que no se podía hacer nada al respecto, pero dijo que me traerían algunas fichas más y luego, después de darme cuerda, me puso el teléfono encima.

Food was fresh and awesome. Taste is outstanding. Customer service is very welcoming and appreciated. Soon visit again

Cold food, undercooked chicken and potato wedges, £33 gone to waste as wouldn’t replace our order. Find somewhere else..

Nice tasting good value pizza. Like the fact that you can select exactly what you want rather than a restricted list.

Ordered Masala fish with naan. Cost about £11 plus. The naan wasn’t hot and it wasn’t freshly made, I think they buy them in and just heat them. Tasted pretty bad. I also asked for sauces to be put on the side in a container. They just squirted in inside the box. When I paid he said cash. I said I didn’t have cash then the card reader appeared. I used to go few years back and was decent. Now I will never go back. Bad food. Bad customer service and expensive for what it was. Never going back!!

Rude staf who blatantly lie to your face, treat certain customers differently to others

I don't even want to give this outlet one star, the service for a fast food chain is quite possibly the worst I have experienced, not just the service but how they dealt with a simple complaint at what they had themselves caused, with what we had paid for and what was delivered was diabolical, we got fresh food eventually but was just fit for the bin. Never again.

Went to big John's friday evening . Large chips were stale over cooked and hard. Certainly not good value for money. Last time I will be going

This is by far the best big johns I have been eating in, with the best food and everything, and the service is amazing to, highly recommend

Tasty and fresh fast food, they make love pizza and you get to choose your ingredients, no seating though, look nice and clean, parking is not hard, no on site parking

I visited this branch at lunchtime when you would expect the food to be freshly made. Chips were not fresh and cold, fried chicken was also cold. Curry sauce was watered down. All for £6.30. Would not be visiting here again. By all means avoid!!

I will definitely not recommend this place in Shirley. It was waste of money and food not worth the money and time. There is no privacy, very bad mannered staff watching you at all times and it took forever for the food to arrive, and especially with children it was just not on. 0 rate to everyone and everything including food.

Super good! Ordered pizza chips chicken nuggets absolutely delicious definitely ordering again!

Years ago this place used to be really good. Their pizzas were amazing, but lately it's gotten worse. Not only that, I used their own online ordering, and placed it an hour before I wanted to collect (19.30 collection). The time came to collect, but as I checked their website, it stated it was preparing. I checked every 15 minutes until 21.30, and even messaged them and tried calling, but no reply. Calling them was a nightmare. Had to go elsewhere in the end, sent them an email and still had no response two days later. The day after the order was put down as cancelled. Gone down hill. Terrible service.

I just placed an order for 26 pounds for pizza only to get crust with cheese what nonsense is this not first time big johns you are a big mess

This is, hands down, the worst place, I've ever ordered from. The customer service is poor, no emotion towards dissatisfied customers. I had to ask the gentleman if he was going to apologise for the fact my food was soo late. Then the driver called me after I had waited over 45 minutes from the allocated delivery time slot to say he would be four minutes, he arrived over fifteen minutes later. When I called to complain to their customer care team, the call was dropped four times. I will NEVER order from this branch again!!!

Rude staff and Worst customer service I’ve ever seen. I ordered 2 piece chicken and chips with Mayo, One of Staff member refused to give me Mayo by saying we don’t have free policy, We charge 50P for Mayo. It was So Rude Even I didn’t ask him for free Mayo”.I paid £5 for food but dumb staff member thought I can’t affairs 50p for mayo”. Disgusting food, Chicken was alright but Chips were dry not fresh”. I wish I could give you 0 star for your customer service”.

Can’t comment on service and atmosphere as I used Uber eats but most of the chips were black - guessing rotten potatoes

Got a burger and chips. Burger patties were over cooked, fries still hard and cold

Walked in and asked how long a pizza would take and was told 9 minutes. Informed the gentlemen I was in a rush. After 15 minutes another member of staff asked if my Pizza had gone in ??? Eventually walked out after 25 minutes 😭 got home and there was missing food from the order!!!!! 😡 Pizza was delicious, but behind the counter very poor organisation and lack of basic management. Won't be going again!! Not the type to leave negative reviews but couldn't resist!!!

Use to go here a lot, food was always on point now the quality of food is poor the prices are ridiculous now they don't even do any offers anymore, even more tight with sauces now just been put off this branch, other branches seem more welcoming and accommodating.

Usually the food is great. However the last 2 orders have been wrong. When spending £40 its very annoying. The 20% discount isnt applied to the bill when placed on the app... Called the on line number and spoke to a very rude man. Who advised me I don't know the difference between the app and a website. Wont be going back to them again.

Big Johns used to do lovely pizzas with great service. Spent £40 on pizzas tonight. Firstly they arrived 25 min late (didnt mind as they were probably busy) Tried to call the number for the branch to see how long the delivery would be. Unfortunately its a centralised num, after calling 11 times and them putting the phone down (waiting in the queue then they hang up) finally got thorough to a chap, asked him how long the delivery would be and why I didnt receive the discount from ordering on the app. The man was adamant I booked it online and not on the app. After advising him I have placed 6 previous orders in the same way and had no issues he still talked over me telling me I don't know the difference between an app and a website. Very frustrated at his pure ignorance i put the phone down. Food arrived 3 out of the 4 pizzas were wrong. The garlic bread was lovely and the taxi driver was friendly. Disappointing as i enjoyed a Big Johns but unfortunately I won't be ordering from them again.

Thought I’d give them a second chance twice but never again. Twice, they had got my orders wrong. Never again will I go there again.

Can't go wrong with big John's it's a bargain and the food is always spot on. Just gutted ther is not one in Liverpool

Don't get me wrong, the food was delicious. Very large portion also, much more than can be seen on the Ubereats photo's. Just very disappointed that I didn't receive my utensils etc. as requested.

Everytime I order food from here for delivery, whether its via their website or uber eats, they ALWAYS put mayo in my food even though I select without mayo in my order. I hate mayo, I never have mayo in my food. Why do they even give us the option to remove mayo if they never listen. Very poor service. Also their chips are usually stale and hard. The hall green and acocks green big johns actually pay attention to my order and don't put mayo, avoid Shirley big johns.

I bought some chips from here, left the store and crossed the road. I then opened the box to eat the chips and they were already cold within 3 minutes of leaving the store. The staff attitude and vibe inside is dead, would avoid it.

Pizza arrived completely cold and like it had been left to sit for a very long time.

Food was hot and tasty, prepared pretty swiftly and good portion sizes for the money. The staff were not listening when they were spoken to sometimes but it was the end of shift so 🤷

Had cold food delivered, the chips were not fresh and pizza was not good with a lot of olives and less of other vegetables

Went this eve and they stopped serving my margarita pizzas but the queen of a server got them to make it for me and it was amazing. Was struggling to get a taxi home. Best place I could have gone into at 2.30am. Thank you legend queen. Wish I knew your name, you are wonderful. Best service.

I never knock food, the donner was the worst I’ve ever had so dry like it had been left out for days and had been chiselled off stone, chips were a quarter decent naan bread like it was the base of a pizza I would never eat from this place again and after a long day’s fasting you can imagine how I felt.

Visited to Big John's, vicrage road kings Heath. Order was simple 1 large chips with salt and plent of mayo on the chips. He refuse to put mayo and telling me we are not allowed from head office. Just to clear him self he called other BIG JOHN'S branch where they clearly said each branch have their own policy, so i went other store had the same order and guess what i had lots of mayo on the chips. Went back to the same old branch and showed Mr IMRAN the Manager. Well after that he straight been rude said go do what ever you want. I must say if you dont want you day to be spoiled than definatly avoid BIG JOHN'S VICRAGE ROAD, KINGS HEATH BRANCH.

We ordered a bbq chicken and a vegetarian pizza with a side of chips. Not only was the food cold on delivery through just eats but the vegetarian pizza had meat underneath the cheese. This led to our vegetarian friend biting into the meat unknowingly and she ended up vomiting. This ruined our lunch date. Avoid this place like the plague as the food is below standard and they do not care about customers with dietary needs.

Ordered on Ubereats last night, Amazing food, delivered on time. Their new line of burgers is delicious especially the Mexican and Korean chicken. Would highly recommend. Thanks Naeem 😊

Bland tasteless food, ordered a southern fried chicken panini and the bread and chicken were soggy all throughout! Chicken nuggets were dry and tasteless. I appreciate you get what you pay for but £11 to throw it all away isn’t on!

Warnings - these guys are thieves!!! If you order a takeaway make sure you check your order before leaving the shop. They gave me an incomplete order and when I went back 5 mins later they called me a liar. Visit at your own risk…

Fish and chip are overpriced and overhyped in my opinion. Donner is fantastic.

I wasn’t particularly impressed with the food we had, it was merely ’ok’. The portions of kebab are slightly small and the chips are just ok.

Big Johns has always been a funny one…. Sometimes the quality of the food is perfect and sometimes it’s just worst than other days…. It’s a 50/50 chance at times weather you get the best food or not…. However, the Pizza in Big Johns are pretty nice

Ordered a takeaway through the app; firstly and very annoyingly their order tracker updates to say your food is on its way, even though it still doesn’t arrive for another 30-40mins. Which is pretty disheartening when you’re hungry. Secondly when it does finally arrive it’s incomplete but the driver runs off so fast you can’t tell him. When you call, their customer service is fairly rude and you have to wait about the same amount of time as you did for the initial take away again for your missing items to arrive. We’ve ordered twice now and had the same situation on both occasions so we won’t be ordering again.

Excellent service. Fantastic pizzas and excellent delivery from Qaiser, who is always smiling and very polite. Highly recommended.

Ordered a build your own pizza, not sure if the pizza I got was even the one I ordered as it had two ingredients I didn't order and not the chicken I ordered either, also didn't taste or look as nice as I've had from other Big John's locations. The mixed meat kebab in naan also wasn't great, was presented awfully, both meats lukewarm and dry, naan was solid on one end. I'll go back to Big John's Kings heath next time as I've always received good food from there.

Great food as it has been over the years. Reduced menu from before though? I really miss the small dinner kebab burger for 99p as it was a good little snack whilst you waited. Will pop back again when passing that way.

Its a shame that Big johns dont seem to have the items we occasionally want, occasionally I like a soft battered fish and chips but they must be low on batter, then other times I like sausage and chips potentially with a curry sauce, but they dont have the sausage this has happened on many occasions, I guess they do not order enough or not at all. So I now go to Shirley kebab house who always have those items in-stock at a slightly cheaper price too. I would say Big Johns seem to aim at pizzas & burgers as they also deliver.

Customer services was really bad the women didn’t even take my order for about 5 mins when she wasn’t doing anything and then she didn’t give my order to the guy at the back to make. Just waited for about 20mins and then the guy made it the donner meat was cold and not fresh Disappointed with the customer services as they were just talking to each other rather then serving also she touched the chips without glovers that is very hygienic. Chicken was like it was from the night before, stupid rule that they can't put chilli or mayo on the chips just so they can charge you for the tubs, but some of the other stores are fine to do that

Fish and chips delivered tasted as if though they were prepared several hours ago, hard and dry, definitely not fresh, no wonder they delivered so quick. Also requested a couple of sauces which was ignored. They responded saying that the customer needs to pay extra for all sauces which is not made clear when ordering online. So you increase prices on your menu item which is poor quality, and then still charge for extra for tiny sauce pots. No thanks again.

Cheap, good quality food and kind staff

We have ordered to our home address before but this time after placing an online order they called to say we aren’t in their area, and we could not get a refund for 3-4 days. Two upset children who were looking forward to a treat! GET A BETTER WEBSITE AND TREAT CUSTOMERS BETTER! Although from the looks of some of the reviews perhaps we had a lucky escape! Head office attitude sucks!

Not great experience this time, chips were rock hard, of course that means they have been cooked for long time.. Donnor was nice actually, staff was OK, friendly.. Guy plz don't serve old chips.. Thanks.

We almost didn't make it to Big John's alive, courtesy, ironically enough, of one of their delivery drivers, who'd decided that speed limits and give-way signs don't apply to them and bombed across the give way lines at least 80 mph in a 40 zone, forcing me and other drivers to do an emergency stop. Anyhoo, we eventually made it to the takeaway in one piece, shaken but not stirred. But they got part of the order wrong. And when we told them this, they argued and and insisted we'd ordered something completely different. Eventually, they reluctantly agreed to change the order but it looked distinctly like one of them was doing something unpleasant to the new pizza, presumably to get back at us, so we decided not to take any chances and left. We didn't even ask for a refund - we just wanted to get out of there!

I bought a diner kebab with chips, and chicken wings the chips and diner were stone cold and the chicken niblets were off will never buy from there again😡

Rubbish service, staff on till was v confused even didn't know himself what he doing. I ordered 4 PC chicken n he gave me 2 pcs, I ordered kebab wrap n he gave me just kebab. Disappointed

I bought 3 portions of Fish & chips and 3 curry sauces this evening and it cost me over £30!!!!, The fish tasted fishy and with hardly any batter!! Chips were hard and no one enjoyed any of it. Im sticking with Zebs next time. They are cheaper and have best quality fish and chips . Never going to Big johns ever again!!

Fast service takeaway, large choice of food. Competitively priced.
