McDonald's in North Devon

We were in the area and noticed this place as we were driving past and decided to get something to eat. The car park is very small and was full but we managed to find a space which is designated for 'click and serve' (only 6 bays). The drive thru was very busy also. We ordered via the app and the food did take a while to come out as was expected due to it being busy. The car next to us had to go in to get their order due to the length of time from ordering. When our food came out they had not put in one of the items so I had to go in which they apologised and gave the item. They charge for sauces here whereas other branches they come free (i.e. with 20 nuggets 4 sauces come free with it however they charge at least 10p each which you have to select some for this) Overall the food was ok typical chain standard. The car park is very small so getting a parking space can be difficult especially at busy times and manoeuvring in and out of spaces and the car park can be tricky with larger vehicles. The location is ok just off a main road. The staff seemed friendly. Prices/extra charges for items differ to other branches where it would be free.

I don't even know where to begin. This branch must be the most useless, incompetent McDonalds ever, with the rudest most unhelpful staff. It has been like this since they first opened. I usually visit Roundswell. Which seems to be far better, with at least pleasant staff. I had no choice this time as it had gone 11pm, yet again staff that seemed utterly depressed, and yet another wrong order, even though it was dead quiet. Do not go here unless you like to be disappointed and Angry. Michael Douglas needs to visit this place with a rocket launcher and an uzi.

Never have I ever been served by such an incompetent group of people. There has never been a trip were my order is given to me correctly, how hard is it to put a sour cream and chive dip pot in a brown bag??? Whether it’s remotely busy or not got a car in the car park, I am always asked to pull up, to then wait at least 15 minutes, to be greeted my a depressed member of staff, who hand me a bag that hasn’t even got the right contents. I therefore, after having waited for an age, get out my car to go in and correct my simple order. One of my trips that highlight the high level of incompetence I mentioned earlier, consisted of me and my girlfriend ordering 3 items. A double cheese burger, a mayo chicken and a portion of nacho cheese wedges. After being asked to pull up for a order that simple, to begin with seemed ridiculous, but then to wait to receive a bag WITHOUT a mayo chicken, was really taking the biscuit. I’d be embarrassed if I worked in a place that couldn’t even string together a simple order. 3 simple compartments and to miss one off. JOKE. This has happened too many times and I think the manager, for the sake of customer satisfaction, should sort out this awful service.

Never has iced drinks usually get orders wrong, when ordering coffee or hot chocolate you rarely get what you order. The last few visits i bought the special hot chocolate and recieved no cream at the drive through so then ordered the normal hot chic and bith tasted and looked like dish water. The staff who make wraps cant have ever seen a wrap in there life as they come in various ways but rarely as they are supposed to. Burgers look like they put the box at one end of the restaurant and then launch the burger from the other end to get it in the box....never had one yet that looks remotely like how its suppsed to. Stopped eating there are you always get upset stomach afterwards. Also the prioritise the deliveries i have sat in carpark for an hour before and had to go in and ask where my food is as they are to busy serving the likes of deliveroo and just eat. Half the time the carpark is full of delivery drivers and their cars. Awful place i now drive to tiverton as its better than both the barnstaple McDonald's even though its a good 30 mins drive away
