So so bloody noisy, kids climbing over the tables, ordered table service must of took 25+ minutes…, to then see they got our order wrong. Took back to the till to complain, was sorted asap but the low stars was mainly for the long ass wait!

Normally I would gave given 5 stars but I placed an order on Uber Eats this morning and have waited an hour for which has now been cancelled at 11.20 because breakfast is over despite the order being placed at 10.20am. I am really angry about this because it isn't right. The customer service has been terrible, I have tried calling but the call does not go through which is ridiculous.

I would like to share my concerns regarding my recent visit to the McDonald's in Peckham Rye. I noticed that the cleanliness of the restaurant was lacking, which was quite disappointing. Additionally, it was concerning to see that many employees were not wearing hair nets while preparing food. This is important for maintaining hygiene and preventing hair from getting into the food. Furthermore, I observed that gloves were not being used when handling ingredients like cheese and vegetables for making burgers. This raises serious concerns about food safety. I hope that the management can address these matters to ensure a cleaner and safer environment for customers.

No toiets for men! Disgusting that a Manager can run a facility without a cubicle for Men to use beyond a urinal. It's so obvious that McDonald's have prejudice to people who are of a certain financial and social demographic. You cannot have a restaurant where you sell food people sit down eat/drink at your facility without being able to relieve themselves appropriately. This would not be acceptable for females so why is it acceptable for males ?

TERRIBLE. Ordered via just eat, driver is at the restaurant for over 20 minutes and then what happens! They cancel my order! After waiting 40 minutes, they then cancel my order and nobody even called to say sorry. Hungry kids waiting here now and no time to order anything else. If you actually want food, do not order from this McDonald’s. Crooks working here. From my experience of being a manager in McDonald’s, this is not how things go. The managers are clearly not doing what they are supposed and obviously don’t care about their customers.

Waited 9 minutes for a Black coffee, no-one seems to care at all, they need proper customer service training.

I'm rating 4 stars pretty much just for the employees. I'm so sorry that they have to deal with such an incompetent manager. Went during the lunch rush today, employees were clearly struggling and in need of assistance and the manager was standing on the same side as the customers just staring at them with a dumb look on her face. Also, the manager was extremely rude to an older man who couldn't open the toilet door, when he asked for assistance she swung it open aggressively and yelled at him that it was open. My order was incorrect but I'm not surprised considering the amount of things that the people working in the kitchen were having to deal with. The owner of this McDonalds needs to let that manager go!

Rubbish, I thought I would give them another chance after they overdid my fries last time, but it took them so long to make my fries. I had to just walk out. Waiting 20 minutes is scandalous

Badly made double cheeseburger, double serving on the ketchup so nearly inedible. Not very fast food, a 7 minute wait for a double cheeseburger. From personal experience I know they take 42 seconds to make, heavily over priced for what it is.

Girl asian short skinny maybe Indian working at the counter 1:20 PM 15 April Monday. Was extremely rude. I don’t understand why she’s working at the till when she doesn’t know what customer service is. No thank you no please moody grumpy. Food was amazing and restaurant was very clean as well. The front counter asian guy with glasses and musk was rude too for no reason.

Absolutely the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. Slow service, rude staff who swear at customers and they only get your order right if it's your lucky day. My Coke tasted like blackcurrant?! Also low hygiene with staff coughing in our face. Complete joke and won't ever be going back!

Extremely slow service. They haven't got anymore winning sip cups available as all other branches does. Lady serving chewing gum very obviously and I thinks that's so unprofessional, unhygienic while dealing with food. staff are extremely slow, this is the slowest fast food store i have ever been to. I was served by a rude woman who literally dashed my food at me. if i wasn’t in a rush i would have asked to speak to the manager regarding her behaviour. I also don’t like having to use the kiosks to order food, it’s not very hygienic having to touch those screens that are probably never cleaned properly.

Staff are nice. They have my gratitude for the work they put in. However, when I ordered a wrap of the day, it came ripped in half. Never had this happen to me before lol

Massively frustrating that they consistently mess up orders! I’ve learnt my lesson and will never ever never give them my money again. Complete waste of my time and money the service is trash bags.

Who would have thought I'd experience the nicest table service ever in McDonald's Peckham? There is a lady here who just brought us the food and she is so lovely and caring, it's just unexpected. I'd dare say she is the first person I've ever seen working in a restaurant that doesn't hate her job. I think her name is Valrie by what I saw on the name badge. Fantastic! Five stars for the whole team who keep this place calm and peaceful despite the enormous footfall on this street. Nice!

As usual chaos been to Mcd three times recently Sydenham,Catford,now Pecham rye,ordering using computer is frustrating twice no receipt issued wait times are ridiculous,and all three times supervisor has had to intervene to apologise for terrible service.No longer a place I will visit.

The service here is very, very slow. I mean there was a guy and I. The only two people that ordered anything. I'm not sure what the guy ordered but I just ordered a coffee. It took ages for them to make it and give to me. This always happens even if I'm the only one in there ordering a coffee. Not sure what the staff are doing.

Was very busy. Chips not hot and milkshake was a disappointment as just had a squirt of strawberry sauce on top. It was more like angel delight (frothy). I had some of it but decided not to finish it as didn't taste right. Got down the road and started getting pains in stomach. Had to rush home 😩

Very rude manager called "Princess" verbally abused me for whole store to hear because I asked for chips fresh not hard but hot. Deliberately intended to cause embarrassment stating I am a regular visitor who causes trouble (by asking for fresh chips). Some people should not work anywhere. Toilets cleaned as often as the syrups are changed. Staff don’t give a F. Didn’t even read the receipt to check if we were eat in or takeaway.

Every time I order a delivery I never get sauces. I just got 20 nuggets and ordered 4 sauces and non came with it. Always disappointed about the sauces when they don’t arrive and they never do arrive. It’s really rubbish. Wouldn’t even give a 1 star. The dryest chips and nuggets argh .

Ordering food from here for delivery is like Russian roulette on whether you get your full order, there is food missing from EVERY SINGLE ORDER over the last couple of months! The staff are fully incompetent! EDIT: ORDERED AGAIN BECASUE I RECIEVED VOUCHERS FROM HEAD OFFICE AND AGIN FOOD WAS MISSING, AND ITS NEVER THE CHEAP STUFF, ALWAYS THE MAIN BURGERS FOR THE MEALS!!

I've had McDonald's in dozens of branches across 4 continents and I have *never* seen a branch mess up orders as consistently as Rye Lane's. Ordered here several times and got other people's orders instead of my own, every time without fail. It's almost impressive. It's like playing a slot machine. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because my friends and I have turned it into a game: will we get our order right this time? Place your bets, folks! In all seriousness, I'm not a picky eater. Meals are prepped well, drinks never spill on the way over, and I usually get my money's worth. I understand that McDonald's staff are often overworked and underpaid. It's corporate leadership's responsibility to hire enough people to meet demand and pay them a decent wage for the amount of hard work and long hours they put in. This is how you ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

The manager, I don’t know who he is but this is the third time this year I’ve gone to this McDonald’s and the service is better than some Michelin starred restaurants I’ve been to. He is a really nice man, with a very kind heart. He has trained his staff extremely well and it shows. Considering it’s in such a controversial area you’d think the stigma attached to the stereotype of Peckham rye would be displayed in a basic fast food joint. But it’s my favourite McDonald’s now.

I ordered the wrap of the day no bacon with big mac sauce. Receipt and package of wrap said no bacon and bacon was inside 2 bites in. I don’t know how much of it I consumed but I felt sick afterwards. So disappointed that such a mistake was made. Just goes to show the incompetence of the workers that are now being employed.

Went into Peckham McDonald’s today and will never be going back again. I asked the lady serving me if I could have a bigger bag and she told me very rudely that I couldn’t and when I replied she shoved my food at me and told me to get out of her face. I was so shocked that this was happening and will never even want to go to McDonald’s ever again. She has zero customer service and did not know how to talk to customers.

Whenever I carve a vegan burger, this is the place I go for. Friendly staff, and clean and tidy restaurant. Located in the heart of Peckham Rye Lane.

I decided to go to this Mcdonald Peckham as it was in the evening busy atmosphere. I wanted to use the toilet which was occupied for some time so I ask the staff why is only downstairs toilet available a very busy time Mcdonald team thought it be a good idea to keep close throughout the evening bearing in mind they have security who I approached due to me being upset with the manager because I found her rude and no customer service skills ignorant. Lewisham dose the same practice why should I or any other person should have to wait for the only toilet available when the restaurant's are busy like come on you buy you food but can't use the toilet as you may be waiting the entire even I feel sorry for the female customer where would they go in a time of need

It always seems to take an age for your order and the quality and temperature of the items is hit and miss. Not convinced that the security should be telling people to f##k off!

Don’t, unless you absolutely have to - you know there’s an issue when they have security guards. I’m used to McDonald’s but this failed on nearly every level. The question is was it a staff problem or customers treating it badly. It seems to be both. Firstly there’s a guy deciding whether to open the door and let you in. The place is often busy, not helped by fully-kitted motorcycle delivery guys standing in the middle vs a delivery lane/area. The ordering screens don’t seem to scan or work with MyRewards (I tried 2, using different methods). Giving up, I eventually ordered and took the kids up the steep stairs. Rubbish was everywhere. Not just a chicken nugget, chip or sauce packet but like people just pushed everything off their table onto the floor. Tables had stuff left on them, and ours had some red sticky stuff that had gone hard over the whole thing. Not once did I see the floor swept/mopped or a table wiped - which isn’t the usual McDonald’s experience. I did see someone sweep a tiny pile in the corner but it looked like they had lost the will to live. In the men’s toilets … well let’s just say they weren’t checked. How people can miss so badly I don’t know. And there was no soap in either dispenser. I think it needs to either be delivery or restaurant-only. It doesn’t seem capable of doing both well / they are negatively impacting on each other. The only positive part is that the food what what we expected, but even that took 20 minutes - which (reading other reviews) seems to be the norm. If you have to, go straight upstairs and you can order from screens or via the app. Delivery to table works. Just don’t expect cleanliness.

Worst McDonald’s ever the staff are not humans their sloths. Should be called slow food restaurant not fast food ! I waited 15+ min for a porridge and an orange juice and it still didn’t come if I didn’t leave I would have missed my train to work. The staff are all utterly useless fire them collectively.

Who ever manages this branch should either educate his or hers staff or resign his ..hers position ....what a shambles...really poor service...I won't list the problems but I would ask for senior management to visit and observe the incompetence of the team and put things right...I know its fast food and busy but the whole system at this mcdonalds is Terrible...one star being generous as I wanted to leave a review .
