McDonald's in Liverpool

Horrible ...I don't understand how people goes there , the food is like a bad joke 🤢🤮

I visited McDonald's Speke through the drive-through for two McFlurrys on the way home. I couldn't have been more annoyed with the service and then, finally, the food. The attitude on all the staff collectively was terrible. They were all acting as though they were angry at something. We sat at the drivethrough collection window being ignored for what seemed too long for a couple of ice creams. I shouted to the Manager, "excuse me but I think our McFlurrys are sitting there and we've been here a while." We'd been ignored by 4 members of staff before I decided to speak to the manager who just dismissed me. Suddenly, two McFlurrys hit the table at speed, and without any acknowledgement, they were shoved at us through the window with ice-cream dripping down the side. Looking in the tubs was a mess of chocolate and ice-cream that looked like it had been thrown in from a distance. I decided never to visit that "restaurant" again. Rude people, poor customer service, disgusting presentation of the food and a dismissive manager.

Worst McDonald’s in Liverpool either gives you wrong order or makes you park up. Save your time and go to huntscross one.

Omg what a horrible meal I’ve just had. Burger absolutely freezing, chips freezing and my drink had no ice and was flat!! Also waited nearly 20 mins for my food. Joke

Terrible place never ever get the order correct always items missing whether it’s breakfast or dinner menu, never known a place to be so incompetent it’s unbelievable. I’ve just give them the benefit of the doubt and ordered breakfast for the family from here and you’ll never guess what,…… HALF THE FOOD WAS MISSING AGAIN, this place needs to be avoided. I gave it 1 star because 0 stars isn’t an option but trust me that 1 star should be a 0

Waited over 30 minutes for my food, had to get up to ask what the problem was and they had to make everything again, this was about 12.20am after I got finished work I wanted something to eat before going home, was tired wanted food asap and to leave. Got my food before 1am, was wrong again. Ended up getting my money back. Haven't been back since. Was about 3 weeks ago, they even gave me wrong money back, I seen a manager wipe crums from under the apple pie machine into the fryer, A MANAGER. this place is disgusting will never return.

Unfortunately a very negative experience, we ordered on screen for table service & although it wasn't busy it took 20 minutes to arrive & the fries & burgers where cold, the items were replaced, & were much better, but if this had been my first visit I would never recommend this McDonalds at Upton, very poor food & service, but the restaurant was clean & had a pleasant atmosphere

Had a hot chocolate and a latte coffee.. disgusting just like hot water... took the chocolate back she said she didn't know why that happened gave me another one (or the same one back) because it was the same. We left both on the table.

One of the better ones I've been in , not all things are created equally, staff spot on, food well presented, not some of the normal Mcroad kill threw at you at the busiest stores, 👍

Gotta be the slowest, dirty restaurant, pay for more staff. McDonald's have also shrunk the mc muffin to 'tiny size'!

Food was served fresh and hot and as expected fast,atmosphere was quiet and as good as it gets in a fast food place

Like it is anywhere in the world! Took slightly longer as it was very busy with just eat / uber eat orders but not to bad and no issues.

Usually the best mcdonalds about , but Sat was a cold burger and warm coffee but as always the fries were hot , not usually available at other mcdonalds, great staff

Absolute joke this place. Ordered a breakfast on the McDonald’s app 2 McMuffin meals and only got the drinks and the hash browns no McMuffins, I rang up and was told to report it on the app…. Well the app tells me I have to ring the store… don’t order from here it’s a joke and they just take your money!!!

Can't understand simple instructions even when they have them on a screen in front of them and even printed on a label on the order. Asked for a double bbq quarter pounder with now onions or lettuce. Got a single plain burger with no cheese or even bbq sauce. Took 3 attempts to get this right. I understand it only McDonald's but is it really that hard to read an order 😕

Ordered the new bbq double quarter pounder deluxe and received a plain single quarter pounder and was still charged for a double. And ordered 9 chicken nuggets.. There was 7 in the box. Considering there was a long wait on the drive thru, You'd think the order would be correct.

As a maccas goes pretty standard fast food, ordered the galaxy mcflurry but due to the busy time period you could see that it was done way ahead of the meal and was just a galaxy McCream by time it got to me

Pancakes were almost cold Given a paper knife and fork which bent every time I tried to cut the pancake's.

McDonald's is better than yo sushi food was so much better and cheaper but it does take a while for the food to be ready

Clean and tidy as you would expect with a new outlet but very small inside. There is much more table space outside, weather permitting.

Buns have got way smaller so to are burgers, the cheese bacon flatbread has no taste not surprising with 2 pieces of transparent bacon and tactless cheese, the big mcmuffin was ok but muffin so small everything slids out when you bite it.

Early morning pit stop for a coffee. Staff were friendly an helpful. Store was very clean an tidy. Free parking area

Staff here are ignorant We waited for our food a manager brought it over with a snotty attitude, slammed our food down and completely ignored me when I said excuse me.

Food cold, took it back and they gave me the same cold food back again. Certainly won't eat there again. The staff were to busy talking and couldn't care less that I had cold food. Very disappointing.

I like this McDonald's but this morning there were about 60 school children in with teachers so very noisy and not the quiet breakfast I was expecting would of loved some of their energy and enthusiasm

Waited 10 mins for my order at the drive through, got home 3 mins away and the chicken sandwich was freezing cold like it had sat there all nite, never have nice food in this place i dont no why i even went back

food is the same in every McD but they never have the thick shake drink on because it is really diffucult to clean.bit frustrating but not the end of the world.

Uncomfortable place to be with all the delivery drivers swarming the collection points hassling staff for their orders. They leave little room for customers to get their orders and it’s honestly intimidating. Perhaps they could be asked to wait until orders are called like everyone else?

Well I have to say one of the best Mc Donald's I've been to. The staff are very professional and go out of their way to assist. The breakfast was spot on.

I got food delivered ( I ordered McFlurry, mango drink . It arrive and two of them weren’t mine so I didn’t get my order . It wasn’t the delivery drivers fault as the bags had my code on. I rung up amd the staff that answered was snotty and unprofessional, I asked for a new meal to be delivered or a refund but she said no to . I contacted just eat and they refused me even with pictures evidence . So thanks to McDonald’s they robbed my money

The chips here are shocking! Got home and as soon as I saw them I went the local chippy. Never have I had chips from here that are fully cooked. The hunts cross store manages to get them spot on. Would not come here again.

I buy mcplant meals because they are milk free and we have severe milk allergies in the family. The staff were immediately able to give us the allergy menu to take away, and it was comprehensive. I am more confident getting a mcplant, than i am in some vegan establishments. Which is odd. Excellent service and top grub.

Let's be honest, you can't beat a good Mc Donald's. Clean, friendly polite staff there to help and take your orders. Ps the chips are always warm if you go threw the drive threw. 🚗

Staff are polite to take your order. And polite when serving your order. If you have to wait for your order it won't be pipping hot but won't be two cold when you get it. Staf are polite enuf to let you know to wait for it. But feels slightly like a robot atmosphere there doing there jobs good but look like they hate it at the same time. If that makes any sence.

New steak stack was great. Really tasty best ever tasted .

Great cheap and cheerful place to grab a quick bite to eat for adults and kids. Salads are available too for healthier options.

McDonalds in Speke Retail is DISGUSTING!!!! Food is cold, restaurant is filthy. Remnants of past diners litter all over the tables and floors. Flies everywhere and soiled nappies left in the toilets!!!! The staff were lovely and trying hard to multi task but unfortunately it didn't work. Disgusting place, not somewhere I would want to visit let alone eat!!!!!!

Just dropped off an airport run at John Lennon airport,on the way back called in at speke retail park 4:30am for an egg mcmuffin,the girl on speaker said no food served for another half hour. I ordered a coffee and went to pick up coffee . On approach I noticed a police car waiting at the window for his order ,after ten minutes he was passed a bag full of food and off he went . I said to the lad "how come he was given food ?" He said " he'd waited ages " Basically if you're in the police force they bend the rules . Disgruntled customer.

Awful service, our order was cold we never received our two chocolate milkshakes…instead we received two children’s cokes and we never received our two Cadbury McFlurries! The driver should look at what they are handing over instead of rushing about like a lunatic on whacky races !!!! Shocking!!!

I will never use McDonald's again I was watching a young man sweeping up at the back of the counter he did not wash his hands grabbed my fries and put them in a bag with my order he put his dirty hands all over my fries as he dropped them in the bag . Discusted threw them in the bin

Me and my family have ordered a few times an some thing is always missing something and when you phone they blame the uber drivers its not its them for not given the driver the right food won't be ordering again from them , its not like 10 20 pound its 30 or 40 pound some times even more and they tell you to go there to pick the food up sorry you pay for delivery they should put the food in you payed for

Been here numerous occasions. Seems to be a common issue that you either have items missing or the wrong items. No disrespect but it's hardly rocket science to put things into a bag. Just been over and ordered a meal, never got any chips in the bag. Not exactly a meal, but yet still charged for a meal.

Came in for hot drinks. One tea, and 2 hot chocolates. Got them and but ended up with the one chocolate and 2 coffees which I didn’t order. I politely mentioned it to the girl and she looked at me with disgust. I don’t understand how they could a simple order so wrong. I asked the girl if I could get new ones and she refused saying that the machine has just broke and that I need to just keep the ones that I’ve got. I also asked if I could get a refund and she said no. No customer service in that place

It's not really a place to go out to for a meal, it's just good old fast food

Food was lukewarm and bacon wasn't crispy. Milkshake and happy meal were OK, fries so-so. Wouldn't recommend for a real burger experience, ok for a quick nibble or a milkshake/ice-cream. Toilets OK with a baby changing facility.

Toilet facilities absolutely spotless ! Plus the restaurant was also. Put other branches to shame.

Conveniently located in Speke retail park, there is plenty of free parking available. Service was prompt, accurate, and food was piping hot. The place was buzzing. Tried the limited edition Grand Big Mac Meal - spot on. Would come again.

Fast and efficient when there..... not great for deliveries... items left out sometimes! But, it's nice to see there are some healthy items on the menu, too.

Not the best but better than some I've been to. When going through the drive through a few times I've not got everything on my order or there's been no sauces and if got a coffee not been asked if I want sugars for it which is the first thing that anyone would ask for a hot drink. Apart from that the food is good and the service is pretty good too.

I am absolutely appalled with the atrocious service that I experienced here last night! I ordered my meal on one of the self-service machines, so then had to wait to collect it at the desk. However, I was waiting over 10 minutes, as they seemed to have a backlog of orders which was just absolutely ridiculous, I mean call yourselves fast food?! They were just rushing in and out with orders looking stressed all the time, huffing and puffing, no communication whatsoever, which left me feeling really annoyed and mad, and realized that there were actually quite a few orders they were calling out that were being unanswered which just goes to show how incompetent they really are, with lots of customers obviously having left after being fed up waiting! Usually at fast food you get given your meal pretty much straight away, being the whole point of fast food of course, but no, here I was waiting and waiting as I heard a billion order numbers called out but never mine! Luckily I hadn't paid yet so I just left it, as I honestly felt that my order would never come, seeing how awfully run they were with their ridiculous backlog of orders! I just felt really awkward standing there waiting for all that time, and you can't even see the screen properly which says the progress of your order. They seriously need to get their act together otherwise close down!

They'd probably use the excuse that they were "really busy" like a lot of places do when they're exhibiting appalling service with long waits, which is ridiculous, just using excuses like this instead of realizing what they're doing wrong and how they can fix it, i.e recruit more staff and counters etc. Being busy is never an excuse for poor service, if anything it just shows all the more how appalling you are to not recruit more staff and be more organized etc. I'm never bothering with fast food again after this and other bad experiences I've had with horrendous customer service at fast foods lately. You really need to get your act together, otherwise close down or get in people who actually know how to provide proper customer service!

Waited over half hour in drive through ordered & paid for double cheeseburger aswell as other food only got a single cheeseburger even though the wrapper said it was double all food cold & disgusting, doesn’t even deserve a one star, gone downhill so much

The staff of this particular restaurant seem consistently incompetent. We must've ordered here at least a couple dozen times, and the majority of the time, we are back up at the counter to sort out an incorrect or missing item in our order. Very bad service in contrast to other McDonald's restaurants in the region in which we have never had any issues such as Prescot and Albert Dock.

Being violently sick 🤮 Be warned.. Possibly Arsenic food poisoning ☠. Some sick individual is trying to be Lucy Letby. 2 of us ate there late at night and was only things we ate. I'm reporting to health and safety standards. They should be shut down. Could have killed us.

Used the McDonald’s app to order food on two separate occasions both times food was missing on the orders considering this happend twice using two different couriers I would think McDonald’s would be too blame rather than Uber eats for either stealing food or not following order requests properly upon phoning the store I was informed this was a common occurrence

I arrived at 06:45. Car park had rubbish everywhere, even one off the trolleys that the staff use to put cardboard in was in the middle of the carpark. I entered the building, went to the counter, there were two customers asking for recipes, as the self serv machines were not producing any. Waiting at the counter, the Manager was standing there, I waited a couple of minutes to be served by one of the other staff, the manager who looked really scruffy never even made eye contact with me, really rood. The girl who served me was quite friendly. The inside of the resurant was really dirty, tables just left with crumbs and sauce marks on them, the bins were all full. Discuting for a big company like MacDonalds

Bit of a mix up on order we ordered inside using the order boards but , was sorted out without delay ....quite busy but, the staff were pretty much on the ball with home deliveries & on the drive through .. place was clean & tidy

Those machines you order on take away the shame of lashing a 20 box on top of your grilled wrap of the day because you're a fat mess but trying to get on the right track. It's maccies. It's not going to move you. But you won't be googling "Dysentry" and crying down the phone to 111 because it's been undercooked or left out for 3 days. FYI. Don't Google dysentery if you're eating.
