McDonald's in Scarborough

Nice McDonald's,just sometimes noisy and dirty outside a bit...

NEVER ORDER VIA MCDONALDS APP!! TWICE ITEMS HAVE BEEN MISSING AND RESTAURANT DO NOTHING 😡😡😡

It's a McDonalds, so there's dodgy but consistent grub, noise, beeps and helpful staff. This one's a bit smaller than some with fewer chairs than you might expect and more stools. It also gets busy so you may want to choose your time to visit. Did I mention the beeping? Quite intolerable. Why they can't use headsets and stop annoying the customers I don't know! Oh yeah, there is a car park with really narrow spaces and little room for manoeuvring especially if you are trying to reverse when you are near the car drive through "queue".

Normal food etc. Like the new chilli burger. Very helpful greeter lady. Had asked some questions about the ap on the phone and she trued her best to help

Fairly average McDonalds, food is consistent. Always recommend using the receipt survey, to get a bigger burger and fries for £2.99. Occasionally they get items wrong or missing so worth checking before you leave if taking away. Handy for an early morning coffee before heading out for the day.

Went through drive thru ordered a double quarter pounder no cheese, went home and it had cheese in it. Extremely disappointing. I would recommend checking your meal before driving away but even then this is not something you should have to do. McDonald’s Drive Thru, do better.

Visited drive through at 11.30pm and its the best portion of fries and bacon double cheeseburger I've ever tried from crackdonalds it probably because they made it fresh

Going at 10pm staff not caring no manner asked for ketchup it in the bag care more about the delivery guys then the walking customer

I was at a dirty table and asked to be cleared and they ignored me right in front of the manageress. I love it but they lack the assertive skills.

Major issue where staff on the floor stood gabbing to a customer for over 10 minutes. We had to squeeze through for a high chair as she didn't move when asked. Another busy member of staff came and cleaned table and i complained about the member and the busy young lady said. I know ....

Fast efficient, you do not need to even get out of the car.

Decent food like any other McDonald's, quite overpriced for the quality of food you get though. They have very helpful staff if you have any issues whatsoever.

I wouldn't bother with the McRib it's more like a McFinger

You would think the fries came out of their wages. Ask for large fries get it half way filled. Joke. I’ve complained to them about this before but they never learn. Use a different McDonald’s because they also can’t even get a basic order right as I’ve experienced today.

Amazing food service and atmosphere came here as a stop on holiday for lunch the food took under 3 minutes and the service was amazing friendly kind staff everywhere ,would definitely recommend .this mc Donald’s should be like every mc Donald’s as this is the best mc Donald’s I have ever come across (I get mc Donald’s once a week since I’ve been 4)

First time user of the Mcdelivery service. Uber driver was great and food was delivered quick and still warm. My actual order was completely wrong. Plain items not plain and several items missing altogether. I rang the store to complain and was told to contact Uber Eats. I won't be purchasing from McDonald's App for delivery ever again!

Tried a fillet o fish. Not good . Totally hard hence the star rating. The manage however was great. Gave me a code for next time

I have always enjoyed a meal from McDonald’s only one of my favourites was a Big Tasty with bacon and unfortunately that is very rarely on their menu. Other than the big tasty my other favourite is a double sausage and egg McMuffin, if those were served all day I’d probably eat them way more often.

Just felt unclean, everything everywhere on tables. Staff busy but this doesn't account for lack of good service. Food cold and slow service, but even when ordered ahead

What you receive bears no resemblance to the pictures of the food

This restaurant was exceptionally busy for the time of day.-queues back to the entrance door.I ordered our food via the self order kiosk and very surprised at how the staff got through the orders so quickly-at least 20 people before me and I got our food in under approximately 7mins.Very impressed with the service and cleanliness-always staff available to clear tables & mess left behind by inconsiderate customers.

Waited over 10 minutes for a mccrispy salad. on drive through.After asking where it had someone come to apologize to say it was busy and doing it fresh! Other people getting hot food a lt quicker!. Ideal location if you're heading home from Scarborough or need to nip in for food/drinks, toilet before a day out.

Rather eat at classier establishments. You get what you pay for but paid over the odds for junk food.

I have never been here till this visit but really good experience when we go to Scarborough again we will de fo return everything piping hot service brilliant we really can't fault it highly recommend.

Dunslow road maccy. Why is it absolutely freezing in there??? We were shaking with cold. Better to eat in car!!

Took way too long with order, only ordered two McFlurry and one drink.

Found the table service very abrupt. Slammed the drinks down, no straws with the drinks. No acknowledgement from the member of staff. Perhaps front of house isn't the place for this member of staff.

Standard McDonalds with Drive Thru. Close too many other shops.

Terrible customer service Only 4 orders on the screen and it took 25 mins to be made (only 2 hamburger meals) After 10 mins I had asked how long as it said it was ready to collect and he said 5-10 mins and walked off without even listening to me properly When I got home with my meal they had left out fries McDonald’s sort your staff out and stop hiring kids

Poor meal chips under cooked no taste either plus vanilla milk shake so sweet couldn’t drink it - what’s happening to McDonald’s??? Tried to call and complain but no answer !!

Order arrived promptly and served to our table. What was most surprising was their manager Emma coming by to ask if everything was ok--not what you'd expect at a fast food place but very much appreciated

We had been on the beach and this was our snack on our way home. The g'kids helped with the order screen. The delivery time was reasonable.

Again previous visits excellent this time around 3pm cold burger, soggy chips, no napkins, on Mcdonald App pick up 7. At nearly £10 these variables in standards not acceptable. No problem with pricing but no consistency in operating standards unacceptable.Needs management sorted! Car park still full pot holes many been there for years! Recent weeks no Mcdelivery available for YO12

Not given a star. Our order was totally wrong we had both our number and another in our bag. That said the food was okay but absolutely not what we ordered and we had driven over ten minutes away so not going back. We just ate what there was

Typical McDonalds, food OK but never hot for a quick in & out not bad but is now starting to be expensive for what it is.

Great customer service, meal was piping hot the fries were crisp and hot, milk shake was great, even though they were very busy staff were very helpful and polite.

I am leaving this review as thoroughly disappointed. I ordered through the Mc Donald app. 3x they have missed items off my order. I have sent email to them, then was told to ring not able to get through. Spoke with customer service the best they could do was offer vouchers bearing in mind this order was missing over £14 worth of food. Even Uber refused to help as this is the 3rd time. I won't do the drive through as last time they gave my order to someone else and called us a liar. AVOID them missing food, food that is stone cold. The only thing they got right was the plain hamburger for my dog. 👎 Sort your staff out and retrain. Abit of advice tick the receipt for each item maybe then items won't be missing. If I could leave a no star review I would.

Food was really good, it had been ages since we had Mac but very impressed. Can't wait for the next time.

Ordered thick shake at 1 am, told can't have as thick shake machine not working , only to be told by another staff member that we can have thick shakes because machine is working??. Come on mc donalds do do better!.

Had to wait for drive through food the last couple of times...

Wednesday we called for an ice cream, had to wait when it arrived it was a little bit runny but apart from that fine.

Drive through breakfast. Yummy and hot.

Ordered a bacon roll, it was awful. Bacon was soggy and tasted horrible the top of the bun was hard, and the underneath was soggy. I had to throw it away!

The past 3 times now i’ve gone through the drive through with a code (to hopefully speed things up) i’ve had to wait 30 mins to an hour for my food. For example, last night the drive through queue was almost empty when we got there yet were asked to park in bay one then proceeded to wait 40 minutes for a wrap, burger, fries and share box. It’s not as if the drive through was busy and the car park seemed fairly empty too. It wasn’t a huge order to make yet took so long. We asked someone to check up on our order after 30 minutes and it didn’t come until an extra 10 minutes later. The previous time we ordered 2 happy meals and it took an hour! i understand that it was busier on that occasion but an hour for fast food is absurd! The service really needs picking up in terms of speed. Plenty of other orders were being brought out whilst we were waiting.

Burger was very dry and disappointed with it. Called last Monday.

It's OK, but I still can't get my head round how my order keeps getting screwed up. 6 meals and there is always something missing..

Spoke to a women on the phone regarding an issue, she fully reassured us and made sure our order was perfect. Service was fast and good was hot. Called her around 6.30 on may 1st but forgot her name

Where to start? Jack worrall, I clearly asked for extra onions on my mig bac, and u gave me non!!! Did you get hungry? Next the 2 portions of cold,saggy chippies. I don't remember asking for no salt fries or chips made yesterday. For context these chippies were colder than the rattlesnake, stone cold Steve Austin. Next on the agenda, my oasis zero it's ight but rather warm. Poured a few hours ago? I also acquired a Fanta zero no ice and the no ice was the only part of this order u fulfilled, however the cup was only 3/4 full. Jack worrall were u thirsty pal? The reason I mention jack was because he was the first face to greet us even tho he made us feel very awkward in this affair due to his very unfriendly and unprofessional manner. The only acceptable part of this visit was actually getting napkins I received for one meal 26(counted them myself). Overall 3/10 visit compared to the usual 9/10. Seth

School holiday, very busy. Great for kids . 👏 Fun place.

Usual McDonald's. No frills; cheap. But has two Instavolt chargers, hence all 5 stars. And they were both working! As usual, yeah!

Food was ok for McDonald’s, service was appalling I ordered quarter pounder with cheese meal and a latte I was told to go and park up and order would be brought to me, waited 5 mins for order which was brought to me not before the girl who brought it was carrying 3 other orders she dropped an order onto the wet road and still delivered it to another customer which I tho it was shocking. I received my food but no drink, I ate the food and waited 10 mins for my latte which never arrived so I was forced to go in and ask for it. While waiting for my latte it looked like there was no organisation what so ever all the staff look like kids straight from school apart from some older people in charge. I will not be going to this branch again, I don’t blame the young people I blame the management for poor leadership.

Staff were friendly and helpful, restaurant very clean and tidy. I enjoy visiting this restaurant every time I'm in Scarborough.

First Maccie for years, and this place reminded me why I don't eat the stuff, presented awfully, and tasted terrible....never again.

We have a breakfast delivery every day! I’ve rjt last few days it’s been going down hill. Today we have mould on our muffin. Disgusting. Never ordering again
