The food and my orders have never really been that bad if you excuse the fact that if you order fries you might as well just order small because it doesn't matter the size of container you get a small portion. It's clear the emphasis is on the delivery and drive through side of the service because doing a preorder or ordering in-store takes just long enough that it can no longer be described as "fast food" (20 minutes wait, only 4 customers dining in but the kitchen was hellish busy).

Ordered food 9.35pm got updates saying would be 10 mins then it jumped to 53 mins nothing arrived kept checking and it said food was being prepared and driver was at restaurant waiting,this was at 12.05 am it shuts 11pm,no email nothing just no food!! The delivery option is disgraceful,parts of the order are always missing it's always cold and u never get any sauces even when you pay you pay them!

Standard Maccies food, staff don’t seem to care and service is absolutely abysmal. Only come here as it’s relatively local.

Placed order for delivery. When arrived my 20 chicken nuggets were missing at 6.99! Also a chicken mayo. Tried contacting McDonald’s and no one answers the phone.

With MacDonalds you know what the standard of food will be, by and large. Ulverston McD's issue is management. On this score it lives down to its rating as the worst in Cumbria. The place is never really clean, consumables are invariably missing, the child-staffers are largely disengaged until firmly prompted.

It's Mcdonald's, so we know the food, Luke warm and same as ever.... But the order was all there and correct so can't complain too much. As always not enough parking for the amount of customers, people parking in the collection bays and then eating in-store, end up doing laps of the carpark just to get a spot to click and collect.

Ridiculous waiting times for drive through. Has been this way since it opened. Priority seems to be online orders

Very slow at processing orders even though not busy. 20mins waiting with no apology. Also from my experience of over sites customer service is very wanting across the board.

I don’t know why the staff can’t read the tickets. Missing items from our order YET AGAIN. I understand sometimes mistakes happen but this is every single time. Last time I order from here.

Every time we order there’s something missing - read the tickets properly. It’s literally not rocket science. If we pay for delivery, which is an extra cost, we expect everything to be there!! This is an absolute joke of a premises and we won’t be ordering again - absolute rip off merchants and I’d recommend anyone not to go there and especially not order a delivery

Avoid at all costs. Been through drive thru twice. First time I was asked to park up and waited 20 minutes before the food was ready. The Diet Coke I was given was less than half full and when I pointed this out, it was topped up with Coca Cola. I'm type 1 diabetic so obviously not great! Should have learnt from my mistakes but stupidly went back again, they gave me someone else's order, which in itself was incomplete going by the receipt. Didn't realise til I got home. I raised a complaint and was offered a voucher for a medium meal deal. Turned this down as I'd ordered food for 2 so would be still out of pocket and they closed my complaint down. All I wanted was my money back. Have been told the wait inside the restaurant is awful due to JustEat, Deliveroo etc orders taking priority. Joke of a restaurant and company.

Mcdonalds you seriously need to do something about the service and the staffs attitude towards customers in this branch. The only efficient section in this branch is the drive thru in my opinion and that’s because drive thru customers don’t have to endure the terrible service provided by the staffs inside the place.

Never had any problems with the drive through, but today I wanted to sit inside. Drive through was reasonably busy but not excessively. Four people waiting for food inside, one lady had been waiting 20 minutes. Myself at least 15. (Simple orders). It seems to me the drive through and all the deliveries seem to take priority over anyone who dares step foot inside. Not the first time this has happened but that was slightly busier.

Attended the drive through 24.11.24, service very slow, food order served wrong and cold. This issue keeps on happening?!

Went through drive through and had to wait about 20 minutes for food which wasn’t what we ordered it’s the same every time you go it would of been quicker going to Burger King at Southwaite and a much better service

Fast, fresh and hot food, loads of spaces to park in and very quick service. Hidden off the main road, drive thru as well.

Every single time I get cheesy bacon flatbreads from here they're not cooked through. Always stone cold in the middle. If I wanted to cook them myself at home I would ask. Why is food always cold? Stop concentrating more on your drive-thru and focus on giving your in-store customers better quality food.

OK although a drive thru not knowing difference between black coffee and black tea is a let down

Everyone was stood around talking, nobody served me. I had to ask to be served, and then they decided to serve me. Very rude. I am a employee for a Mcdonald store and could not believe the manager even was stood there not getting the staff to serve.

Very busy due to something about police and manager(was told by someone serving but lost interest and stopped listening) food took a very long time and the order was incorrect. Having to have your receipt to use the toilet was an absolute pain. I needed to go all the way downstairs just to get the code. Maybe advise someone on the ground floor on (like the bottom of the stairs) a code is needed!

Having only collected part order I have tried repeatedly to call the store. Guess you don’t answer when only 20 minutes of your shift left. I will be phoning tomorrow to complain and get the missing items refunded. As mozzarella sticks won’t be on your breakfast menu. Not the first time this has happened.

Mega slow service over 12 people waiting at 9.30am mo day morning I thought maccys was supposed to be fast food soooooo slooooow it's unbelievable

Food was cold. Had specifically asked for no onions as they give me a bad reaction but when I started to feel ill, I opened the sandwich and there were bits of onion in it. The box clearly stated no onion though.

absolutely appalled and distraught at the quality of this order, seriously? two small fries with hardly any FRIES? disgusted. i ordered two medium fries, instead i got small? get it right. i also ordered a mayo chicken with bacon why do they make you pay extra if they don’t even bother to put it in the burger, ridiculous and the extra pickles in the cheese burger also not there.None of the sauces i added to the order were there either such a joke. i recommend mcdonald’s starts hiring competent staff who can actually read what’s on the order if they want to keep customers.almost forgot to add but MY CHICKEN SELECTS, dry as the sahara desert, where is the moisture? the flavour? actually disappointed in you, all of you. think about what you have done. as i write this i stare at my cold chicken, wondering, pondering, if they left them in for a minute longer would i still be able to hear the clucking i am hearing now? this is making me rethink if im vegan or not. bad people you are.

It's OK but my burger was slapped in cheese was on one side, take care mcys when doing a order, as its not cheap, burgers were nearly cold.

Tables and floors grubby and not cleared away. Floors throughout, slidy/slippery extremely dangerous! Reported, response "floors cleaned regularly". But they are very slippery! Burger dry and overcooked. Not a good experience at all.

Disgusting attitude from staff. Partner paid for a delivery as I'd been driving all day. Order nearly delivered to wrong address & when it did arrive it was cold & part of the order missing. When we phoned the restaurant it came from we were told we'd have to go to get what was missing & we weren't given any other option. No refund of any payments & I was left with just cold fries & a very thin sloppy milkshake for my tea. Absolutely disgusting service & attitude from a firm celebrating they're 50yrs old & obviously spending a fortune on tv advertising..

Took 1 hour and 30 minutes to get our order via click and serve. Was very busy so appreciate it can take longer. Asked 3 people for help by walking in but they didnt do anything. Young man helped us and said they must have given the food to someone else so he retook our order and sorted it out himself and helped me carry it out to the car so thank you Ashley

Ordered sausage and egg muffin standard. And a bacon and egg muffin no cheese. Told to wait in car park as bacon and egg needed to be made. Waited 10 minutes...watching food being wandered around the car park, bags not closed...when finally ours was handed to us. And the bacon and egg HAD cheese. Frustrating! And food was tepid. Staff friendly enough but irrelevant if you are giving people food that they are allergic to!

Asked for a sausage and and egg mcmuffin no cheese. Asked to park , waited ten minutes, given a muffin with cheese that was cold. Luckily I'm not allergic, I just fancied it without cheese. Poor poor

Only used tge drive thru, but compared to other McDonald's, this is brilliant, with a massive car park ,and more space driving round especially in my van , downside is getting in from the main rd and leaving bsvk on to the main rd , but that's the only flaw

Literally every time you order from this poorly ran McDonald's, you have to wait in the car park after ordering 2 double cheese burgers and a happy meal. What a joke. Sort yourself out.

Waited over 30 minutes for our order had somewhere to be so went to the counter and asked for money back they did offer to go and do ours at that point which I declined as other people had waited longer then us

Don’t bother coming here. Go the Kingstown McDonald’s. Expect 40 + min waits even longer if you don’t use the drive through.

I ordered at took one hour and say order canceld it’s only a few minutes away if your gonna promote good stuff suggest you don’t how horrible there delivery service is

I went with my grandsons as they wanted to go there for lunch. Otherwise I would never go there through choice. I prefer proper food!

For it to be the newest maccies in town I would have expected better all round, but unfortunately it is the worst. This isn’t the first time we have waited 30-40 minutes for food. With this being our nearest we have gave it chance after chance. Friday night we went through the drive thru, it was empty and got served right away with our food order. I ordered two meals which I should have realistically got there and then. But I was told to go and park up! Stupidly we shouldn’t have gone there as we were in a bit of a rush, but with the drive thru being empty as well we didn’t think it would be an issue. We waited 20 minutes for our order in the car park. The service is so slow it’s absolutely shocking! Unfortunately you do see the young click and collect staff just dordling and slowly walking from car to car. I’m not saying staff should be seen running around like headless chickens, but at least put a battery pack on! It’s meant to be fast food, but nothing fast about it. Only good thing was the food was hot for once. We won’t be returning. I’d rather travel a bit further to Kingstown McDonald’s.

Arrived 2 hours late. Everything was cold. The burger looked like it was made in a thunderstorm then just lobbed into it's box. How can it be this bad? I paid £25 for this?? You should be paying me

Waited an hour our meal after ordering, theyre more bothered about the uber eats.

I was impressed by the manageress who must have noticed my disability, and had one of the staff bring my meal to the table, and later brought my coffee herself, brilliant service.

They were very polite and the food was incredible defo recommend xx

This branch is useless when it comes to mcdelivery. They usually get the order wrong and/or parts of the orders have been missing. I have had enough of not getting what i have ordered. Do not go here if you want what you have ordered.

Let’s just start with this place has gone downhill. A few years ago when it first opened it was pretty good I went often due to living close to it. Low waiting times, nice staff and clean premises. In recent times you could be waiting anywhere between 30-45 minutes for your food, most the staff are still nice and I don’t blame them at all, clearly bad management and short staffed seems to be the problem. The place is still clean but rubbish soon builds up at night not sure where the cleaners go? And there is also a security guard present much due to ongoing trouble and violence in the area so definitely not a place to take the kids at night. If the place sorts it’s self out I am more than happy to give more stars until then best of luck McDonald’s london road

Sadly gone down hill here, doesn't seem to matter which day or what time you go, always slow service. They switch your order over to the collect screen waaaayyyyyy before your order is actually ready (I'm assuming to try and keep some kind of bonus 👀). Often half your order is cold because you can see your food just sitting out in the open rather than sitting somewhere warm. Mcflurries come half melted from just sitting around. Plenty of parking but difficult to get out of the car park. Cleanliness and stocking of condiments/napkins seems to be neglected. Staff dither around without a care in the world. The food would actually be good if they got it to you *fast*

Made the mistake of going to the drive through around 11 am for breakfast. At this time the staff are in the process of moving to the lunch time menu. The service at the drive through is always slow and the parking bays are used to wait for food to be delivered to your vehicle. After waiting over 25 mins in the car park for my breakfast I asked one of the staff if my breakfast would be ready soon only to be told that breakfast had finished and she was now delivering lunches. Going into the restaurant the staff were not really interested in my problem so I asked the manager for a refund as they couldn’t find my meal. I was told it would take 15 minutes as the refund would need to be done on the main till. My meal appeared from another part of the restaurant and I was offered a free coffee. I accepted the coffee and returned to the car, my meal was cold and squashed int a ball. Very poor service and will not use the drive through again

Rubbish maccies, waited 20 minutes for our order. After 10 minutes of waiting asked the McDonalds worker where our order was. He said it would be 2 mins but it took 20 minutes for them to make our order. Burgers were cold. There was another woman who complained about chips and coffee being cold to the McDonalds worker. Absolute piss poor service, I will NEVER go here again.

Just had a takeaway mc muffin and hash brown and got home to eat... The hash brown was so hard and dry with hardly potato inside. Such a cheek to get rid of old stale food through takeaways knowing we wouldn't return it to the kitchen that we would've done if we ate in house.... 😡😡😡😡
