McDonald's in Newham

Not done any reviews for awhile but today particually annoyed me, I had the misfortune of purchasing from this joke of a mac donalds. So it's monday, lunch time I'm in the area and I fancy something quick and easy, so I go here to buy a wrap. I look at the wrap of the day garlic mayo, and i'm like nope does not interest me, so I pay a extra £2 to get the bbq wrap instead. I wait my numbers called I get my lunch the package says BBQ wrap, no issues so far. i leave I go to eat my wrap that, only to find right away it's cold, and it's not a bbq wrap. Although the paper says its a bbq wrap inside its smoothered in garlic moyo with no bbq sauce at all. So they gave me the wrap of the day, disguised as a bbq wrap. Thankfully I don't have any alleries so I was just ripped of and made to pay more for something I did not want rather then outright posioned. I took a few bites of this awful wrap that the staff "accidentally" gave me, before throwing it in the bin. Thank you once again Beckton Asda for proving that even you're mac donalds inside is substandard and poorly ran. Keep lazily putting the wrong items into peoples meals like this and you'll find yourselves with a law suit and a seriously ill or dead posion victim on you're hands..

So sick of some McDonald’s giving out half measures of coffee ! Just fill it up like most of them do, it’s below the line and the large is same size as the regular so you’re being conned !!

Be aware ! They don't give all the items you paid for then they go ahead and ignore you! Which is THEFT! This place is a disgrace!

Our wrap did not have salad, and the hamburger did not have a burger. The staff at this place should all be sacked immediately for messing around and providing the worst service ever. Check out the image.

This McDonald’s is located in Barking Town Centre, in a great spot right next to the market, which takes place on weekdays. Aside from that, the restaurant is clean and well-maintained, with a good selection of healthier options, such as grilled chicken salad and tea. The ordering system is convenient, with self-service kiosks where you can easily place your order and either have it brought to your table or pick it up yourself if you’re taking it to go. This location is very busy, with many customers dining in, likely because of the affordable prices. It’s especially popular among students and those looking for budget-friendly meals. There is also a constant flow of delivery drivers from various services, often forming long queues to pick up orders. Overall, this McDonald’s is a good place for a quick and affordable meal, but it would be great if all staff members maintained the same level of friendliness and customer service throughout all shifts.

One of the worst McDonald’s I have been too. Staff don’t smile, service is slow and the worst of all is that most of the time the orders are wrong like for example I order McCrispy with extra salad and sauce but instead they put no sauce in and when looking at the sticker on the box it said order 13 while mine was order 12, and when I took it back they had my burger there and did not even apologise what a joke of a franchise.

Fries weren’t salty but crispy. The atmosphere is alright. Lady gave me and my friend the food even without the bump and was quite helpful. Crowd of school students here is crazy though. Decent!

I am here in McDonald's ASDA , Beckton The customer service is soo good and the food is delicious

Staff sits talking order pilling up food getting cold been given replacements for items that are out of stock or too lazy to pull out without being asked. Carelessness regarding food allergens, missing details from orders, dirty, empty handed staff handling food

The stuff in that place is absolutely rude I went there once never again. The reason I went there because my mum lives around Beckton. I would rather stave then go in there again..😡

I specifically called the shop to ask that very important no ice in the drinks. I always make this simple request, but always get full drinks of ice.

There is no hygiene no hair net no gloves and just putting hand in hair and then they are packing and it’s ridiculous…. Please look into these and no staff has knowledge about your product also….

They have to control the people that visit and turn the place in complete chaos. Obnoxious screams and there are always kids that wrestle. The staff seems to be friendly always. They are a bit slow if you visit the place as they prioritise the online orders.

if you want to wrap food for 20:00, then it will arrive at 21:00 at best, or later, the Jist Uat service simply ignores everything and transfers it to the next time, i.e. it was 20:00 at 20:00 it will be 20:30 and then further

The Mc donalds in Beckton asda is good i like their medium Vegan Meal 6.09£ which includes 1 vegan burger medium french fries and i choose Hot chocolate milkshake

Cleanliness is an issue! Dirty floors needs a good scrubbing!

Served better than home...I got a table and a lady broght me the breakfast with a smile saying ..."Here is your breakfast darling". I ordered the egg and bakon mac muffing with orange juice, capucino and hash brows... A confort start of the day at a good price.

Absolutely horrible food, had large and medium fries. Both boxes half empty... Chilli Grilled chicken wrap - chicken was probably grilled 2hrs ago as it was so dry. Horrible, horrible, horrible😤! I'll stick to the local chicken shop! Service and FOOD are much better there! McDonald's is just money making machine

3 in the kitchen including the manager and more than 15mins waiting time. But there is time to chat. Baaad service level!

This place is baffling. Constantly forgetting items in my order. Sometimes there's some very sweet workers, a lot of the times you have very forgetful, inattentive workers. It's insane.

Missing food. Daughter very upset with only half her dinner. Didnt expect to have to check and was in a rush. Wasn't even that busy!

The table staff are a little slow to help.

I had a wrong order given to me when and I was really annoyed as i've had a few issues with this branch. The manager Roksanna was great and rectified the mistake well. Shes a great manager.

I had an awful experience when I got there with my church friend and his children. We came for a church conference and we settled at the premier Inn hotel closer to McDonalds. The hotel's restaurant had closed in the evening we arrived, so we decided to go to madonalds. We got there 5 minutes before their closing time, as soon as we started the self-order, everything on the screen went off. We asked the security man in there, and he could not say anything much, all he could say was that, they have closed. We got in 5 minutes before closing time!! We wanted to protest but we went out quietly in order to save some energy to go round to look for other options. It happened on 29th March, 2024.

Atmosphere really depends on what time of the day you go. I sometimes have to ask them to fill up the McFlurry just that bit more. Has phone chargers, but they rarely work. Toilets are not in the McDonald’s, but next door to the Asda (entrance next to the bank, pub and school). Good after a shopping trip at Asda or if you’re changing bus.

Absolutely ridiculous that I was refused an inch of hot water to warm up a bottle for my baby. When I asked why, I was told "because of health and safety", no other explanation. When I questioned why it is I can buy a full cup of boiling hot tea but can't be given an inch of hot water to warm up a bottle, the manager told me I could "purchase a tea and she'll give me the tea bag separately". This is absurd and a complete misunderstanding of health and safety. I had already purchased two hot chocolates and some food. I have never been refused hot water to warm up a bottle anywhere. Even another McDonald's branch. So clearly it is okay to do so. Shocked and disappointed more than anything.

The woman who was in the counter giving out the orders clearly hates working at McDonalds! she is rude to customers. I was waiting 20 minutes for a sandwich, and she passes her friends in front to take orders, it's not professional at all.

Very good food. Once the bill didn't come out the machine so I asked a member of staff. They were very kind and helped me get me my food.

Thankfully was quite at the time we went over the weekend. Whereas usually very busy. Ordered using the self service and due to ordering plant burger was a relatively long wait -10mins. Tables were available and mainly cleaned but still needed a quick wipe with a tissue. Food was warm and tasted good

By my experience, this must be the worst Mcdonalds around me. Every time I order for delivery, something is missing from the order. I always stay hungry because 90% of time it's the burger missing. They won't deliver to replace it only refund which means if I order again I must pay delivery 2x. Its really nonsense. There is some BIG issue in this branch.... if I could I would give 0 star.

Honestly every time I order something from here they seem to get it wrong. Or it comes cold… absolutely terrible. Even deliveroo and Uber eats. I wouldn’t even bother. So terrible.

Today June 24th 2023, myself and my daughters dined here. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. My 7 year old had her face painted for free. She was really happy. The girl was really pleasent and friendly. Thank you Asda McDonald's beckton!

Good food but incorrect drinks. Ordered a Coke and checked with the server that it was definitely normal Coke. He checked the receipt and told me it was, but when I tasted it after I left it turned out to be Coke Zero

Best thing about this McDonald's is that there is an ASDA superstore nearby. You go there for your weekly shopping and next thing you know, you are having a Big Mac.😃😃😃 Very clever, McDonald's 🤪

I ordered 6 food products and one is missing as usual. Tried to call at the centre many many times and they are not receiving. I recommend every customer to double check them when they are doing take always. Bad service 😕

Food is like every McDonald's, but experienced few times slightly rude staff. Maybe from stress and being busy. But still not fun. Tables and very often dirty from previous customers.

Ordered from uber eats. Ordered 7-8 items which had a burguer, fried and ketchup missing. Awful service which makes me think how hard it is to read and pack things right??? Not the first time which makes me to recommend to anyone not to order from this place which takes your money and doesnt deliver most of your order

Food was left for a while until I intervened, no one was handing the food out. Deliveries were waiting on the side (not kept warm) getting cold. Felt sorry for those waiting on their orders at home! My food was reheated NOT remade. A heating bay is required.

Ordered a big mac meal, the big mac only came with the bun and beef pattie. Luckily I checked my food before I left, but it's appalling still. Staff look lazy and unbothered. Probably one of the worst McDonald's. The food tasted old and sickly.

Well i thought McDonald's as a big corporation should have some standards. But unfortunately even though I customised my burger to not have a ketchup, they still added it. Imagine I would be allergic to it!! Also it wasn't busy at all (maybe 5-6 orders to do) and I've waited almost 10 minutes for one burger.

Very poor service. Manager standing there not even supervising staff. Absolutely clueless staff. Didn't give the sauces and extra sauce I paid for either. McDonald's did compensate for it with one meal but compensation is not enough because I had it done recently in another branch as well. I'll have to check everything before I leave and help employees do their job in the future.

By far one of the worst I have been to, customer service is very poor and certainly needs working on. Numerous occasions where it doesn't print your receipt or link your order to the McD app, so you have no idea what your order number is. Most recent experience, we waited over 30mins for our food and not even an apology. Fries were soggy as hell and tasteless.

As with all MC Donald's respect basic and you won't be disappointed the food looks as though a football team help kick it around the kitchen and Luke warm and tasteless food for a quick hunger fix up and go.

McDonald's is McDonald's, good service next to Asda, busier in the morning especially when the school kids are about. Feel sorry for the workers having to constantly tell the kids to leave the place. Apart from that its ok
