McDonald's in Breckland

Always drop in here after a track day at snetterton. And always forget how awful the place is. You order and wait half hour for the “fast” food. My order wasn’t complicated a coke, Big Mac and a double quarter pounder. My brother in law and family ordered after me and got a whole tray full before I did. In the end I begged just for the Big Mac and the coke so I could go sit and eat something with them. This is by far the poorest McDonald’s in the country. And nearly on par with useless service of the kfc in bury st edmunds.

We live local and this is by far the Worst McDonald’s you could ever visit, you will never get your full order here / food always cold / staff are just a bunch of kids who don’t wanna be there. Do yourself a favour and drive on to the next one.

Fast food that takes 25 minutes to arrive is appalling. Didn't even seem that busy employees wandering round the kitchen. Drive through seen in minutes. I'd advise order a drive through then eat it in restaurant. This place is an absolute joke.

Slow disinterested staff... Cold food . Dirty trays left about for the 30 minutes we sat and watched. Appalling place. Do better.

Totally disgusting, food on the floor in seating area, clearly there from the night before bins inside and outside overflowing, this only attracts vermin(rats, mice etc.) Food cold, coffee latte no cream as stood so long cream had melted into coffee. Young person who served me gave no eye contact, no pleasantries. Wearing thick long stick on false eyelashes, as an auditor in the food industry under McDonald’s codes of practices and in alignment with HACCP (foreign bodies) this is a no no. McDonald’s HO should be doing their own visit at this site as this franchise is a disgrace to the Brand. A visit from the local environmental health department is needed, if it is dirty front of house, what is it like in the food prep area?

Just a poor McDonald's 😏 Long wait for food and then item missing. Staff did not seem to know what was going on or care... seems like there is a management or training issue that needs addressing.

Honestly this is the 3rd time in a year I've been here and it's awful. The food is terrible, I understand it won't look like the pictures, but it looks like someone dropped it, everything fell out and the food was scooped up and put back in. The fries are always cold and half a portion, don't bother going large, waste of money!

Awful service, no-one paying attention. Given wrong coffee, exchanged for a cold cup that had been sitting there for a while.

Great guy called matty came out with our food with fast and rapid service I saw him in the kitchen then he got our food ready and handed it out to us all I can say is that this employee is very respectful and helpful so thank you, will be coming back

Absolutely crap Been 3 times and every time service or food is bad 1st time waited nearly 45mins for food 2nd time food was missing And 3rd time waited 20 mins for food and then the order was missing items aswell. Absolute shambles of a restaurant. Never going there again and will never recommend the place to anyone

Horrendous, waited in the drive thru for a good 15 minutes, they didn’t bother sending any vehicles to the 3rd window or either bay, I only ordered a coffee, and by the time I got to the window, it still hadn’t even been made. If the staff member had looked at the outstanding orders, they would have seen an easy order and stuck a cup under the machine. Worst McDonalds in the country by far… didn’t even have the decency to apologise for the wait

Called in for a quick coffee and breakfast while travelling, first impressions, ordered on the screen, screen said no table service, the receipts failed, collected order, the girl serving clearly didn’t want to be at work, took our food upstairs, you know they haven’t cleaned when there’s lettuce on the stairs at breakfast time, upstairs had litter on the floor even though they were not busy at all, the toilets were far from clean, watched the guy outside supposedly picking up litter but he stood in the same spot holding the rubbish bag for 10 minutes, really not the standard we were expecting.

Food didn't arrive after 20 minutes, having ordered on the screen and sat upstairs with the table number. Picked up all of my gear, eventually spoke to a member of staff who didn't know where the order was but did swiftly refund my money. As I was then getting back onto my motorcycle the same member of staff did come out and explain that someone hadn't been doing their job properly and offered me a desert which I declined as its hard to eat ice-cream with a crash helmet on.

This must rate as the worst McDonald's I've visited, cold fries, over cooked and dry Big Mac and coffee that tasted like it was made the day before, the wrap that my wife had was in her words 'tasteless' even though it was a garlic mayo chicken wrap and obviously was meant to have garlic in it as a flavouring, how can you hide the flavour of garlic in a wrap? The one saving grace was we were given more fries than we ordered to replace the cold fries 🙄

Once again, I drive into an empty Drive-thru. sit there for a minute without being served whilst someone else drives into the other serving bay, gets served and is on his way. Eventually, someone asked me for my order. I ask them why someone who arrived after me gets served before me and his curt reply was "We're on different headsets"! Not so much as an apology! Frankly, I don't give a toss if you're on different headsets. Your job is to take orders and be alert for when customers arrive. Serve them promptly so they may get on with their busy days - hence using a drive-thru. More likely doing nothing more than chatting with his colleagues rather than doing what he should have been doing. This is a regular occurrence at this restaurant.

Awful, awful service. Place your order and you wait and wait and wait some more. Hardly fast food and then not worth the wait. While you're waiting you see staff ambling around as if they have all the time in the world and, maybe they do, as they're at the start of a long shift. However, the rest of us have somewhere to go - usually to any of the other eateries next door to this establishment. To keep yourself amused, you can watch the customers bring back wrong orders ie something missing, the wrong food or cold food. I have been here at 10.30am on a Wednesday morning and service was fine. However, that is very specific and hardly a recommendation! Food is not always served in the order that is listed on the screen, either. Our order was up next for collection but five other people were served before us. Counting on by one obviously not a strong suit of the staff. Do not come here. There's a Starbuck, a Greggs and a Subway next door. No-one is that hungry for cold, late food.

OK you place your order via the self service screens and an order number is produced. You wait 20 minutes and your order number moves to ‘’collect your order’. You wait and wait and wait some more. Ten minutes later someone can be asked to wander out with your food. You stand looking in to the kitchen where the assembly line reminds you of rabbits caught in the headlights. The only urgency is attached to taking food out to waiting vehicles. The days of fast food and service with a smile are dead.

How long does it take to make a burger? 30 mins after ordering and no food watching other people come in, order, get their food and leave. Every time I asked where are food was I was told it was coming! Please please save yourself the wait and get a subway from the petrol station.

Long wait, poor customer service, milkshake just a watery mess…why do I even bother with the ‘convenience’ of a drive through McDonalds…

How long does it take to make a mcdonalds meal? Thats what I asked myself after waiting 40 minutes without any food. After no resolve I thought to myself, I might aswell of drived to my local estate agents, bought a house, went shopping for food and cooked it myself in the new kitchen. I've watched someone return a drink in this period for getting it wrong, and with the turn around time of 30 minutes, you'd wonder how long it takes them to process a simple order correctly. What a joke this is.

Staff were not interested in customers stood at counter for over 5 minutes before anyone even bothered to serve me. The food was cold sent back and the manager argued with me saying food wasn’t cold . Won’t visit here again

Due to my job I visit many McDonald’s restaurants all over the UK. Unfortunately, this one is closest to my home. On most occasions I experience an unusual delay, but today was by far the worst. I would appreciate it if this site were to...
