McDonald's in Havering

Only things about this place that is nice is the staff.. Food cold, was given wrong sauce with cheese bites... No confirmation of order and price, on screen at the order point nor the paying point, I think I was offered a receipt but it wasn't automatic.

use the drive-in to order the new philly burger. service was fast and efficient. the food was pipping hot! it was peak time so very busy outlet.

Apart from this September where all of a sudden food was served hot, all previous experience say 8 out 10 visits were as per usual burgers Luke warm if you were lucky french fries soft and Luke warm and milk shakes never consistent sometimes not sweet enough sometimes not cold enough and most times not enough chocolate taste to it. Like I've read other reviews when you complain or bring it to there attention the answers I got a few times was I quote Thats how we do the burgers and milkshakes or they dont give a darn. The Milkshake machine always breakdown and this time the machine in Straight rd, Harold hill about half a mile away from you also had there milkshake machine down, you can't make it up. Its not rocket science or Michelin cousin. Consistency Consistency. Don't cook fries and let them get cold fry smaller batches dont cook burgers and leave them on a hot plate and measurements for milkshakes should be followed as recipe given guide lines.

It’s okay if you go there in person but if ur ordering u can sometimes miss items like drinks or straws or like ketchup

Used my local drive thru. Milkshake machine down yet again. The milkshakes are unavailable too often. Get a better machine! Had to wait in holding area yet again. I've varied orders to avoid this, but it makes no difference. Car nearly hit by one of the many scooter delivery riders on site. I give up, and I'm not using this restaurant again.

Drive through. Although I checked upon payment whether the correct fries were on the order and checked again at collection hatch, the order was still wrong. Apparently this is my fault because I didn’t read the screen!! The screen didn’t show what I’d ordered which was why I queried it!! Then they can’t take a card payment at the counter! What a poor show.

The food took about 20 minutes or maybe more. And it was very crowded. And there was no seats or tables for us to sit in. I would not come here ever again. The sauses were mixed instead of ketchup I got something else. The only good thing was the food. I would try go to another mcdonalds if you can. And the popular drink (grimace shake) Was out of stock.

Took way too long for a simple order

Last time I ordered from McDonald's through just eat my family got their food and my entire meal was no delivered I decided perhaps it was just eat at fault and not McDonald's so gave them benefit.of.doubt and ordered today through Uber eats, yet again items from our order for me were not present when delivered so I am sat with nothing yet again. All I get is a refund for missing items is in progress and will be here within 15 days but left with no food again. When trying to call McDonald's to query they answer and immediately just hang up. Absolute waste of money and time.

Made a mcdelivery order at 14.11 today. They charged me for delivery until I realised I had selected the mcdonalds address as tye delivery address. I was given the drivers contact details so called to see if he would still be able to deliver and spoke to a mcdonalds staff member as his English wasn't good. I gave the staff member my address and they said he said he would deliver it. Uber driver text me for the new address details which I gave. He then blocked me and my order showed as being delivered! I then went to Mcdonalds at Gallow Corner to collect my order as it said it had been delivered to the address on the original order. No one could or was will to help me. Including the manager. He said that on so many occasions uber drivers collect food and never deliver. I tried to call customer services and spoke to two separate people both who explained they couldn't process a refund! I told them I wanted to escalate my complaint whi h they said they couldn't do anything. Mcdonalds have a complaints procedure they are clearly not following. I gave them my contact details and explained I'll be awaiting a response to which I was told I wouldn't get one! There is no accountability from MvDonalds or Uber Eats. I asked if they could contact the driver and ask where he delivered my food. To which they replied NO. This is the last time I'll be ordering from McDonalds directly. As you can see from the other reviews they have a lot to answer for.

Drive-through can get busy on weekends, fortunately the staff is friendly and efficient. Can take 15 minutes per order

Most Mcdonald's are the same so food and service as you would expect ok for a quick bite or to take the kids this one is inside Lakeside shopping centre so handy if your shopping .

e drive thru at gallows corner A127 . I am a regular night customer and the last few months the staff are not causing problems. Not taking orders right and very rude and no standard to customers. Then last night got a 2 big macs in a double big mac box and charged for two double mic macs. Saved mine and took it bag to the manager to see the state of the burger as was a mess. He offered to replace but told him to keep the food and money. Disgusting.

I can't remember the last time I had a burger that was even warm, let alone hot! If you like hot food, don't have the burgers

This restaurant cannot cope with the demand from Deliveroo, drive through and in person customers. Have waited 20 mins for an in person order on last visit and in latest visit to drive through was asked to wait in car park. Car park had no places, and after 25mins and conversation with staff, I had to go in and demand my food. Terrible.

“Visited recently and had a bit of a mixed experience. The Coca-Cola tasted strange – not the usual McDonald’s goodness. Tasted like a 5-year-old was mixing drinks unattended at a family gathering, Also, got approached by a couple of crackheads asking for coins in the drive through, which was unexpected.made me almost spill my lemony coke. Instead of allowing the drive-thru queue to naturally progress, the staff directed cars to park and wait for their orders to clear the drive-thru lane. By asking customers to park and wait, the already limited parking space was quickly filled with cars, blocking not only the parking spots but also the main access lanes of the car park. Good place for a quick lunch. Surprisingly, it was quite when we visited but overall it was a good trip.nice and clean tables with timely service for the food.

I went through the drive thru. I placed an order, when I got home part was missing some was wrong. I tried calling the restaurant, but no one was answering the phone. I went online and was was dealt with a virtual assistant. Took all my details and the stopped responding. This is not the first time this has happened. So frustrating when one person gets nothing to eat. I understand mistakes happen, but at least make an effort to put it right. Terrible customer service. Feels like got your and don't care now. Will not be ordering again.

I drive of without looking, pulled up down road to look at order, no sauce like Charlie rudely said there was also burger was wrong, so went back to store and went inside, fixed order got sauce and got the extremely rude females name, avoid this mcds, go down Rd to a127 much better service, 9/10 times they have milkshakes so will defo be makin extra journey for that one from now on.. Extremely rude staff at straight Rd mcds 1/10 for service from 2nd window!!

Hey all one day I had meal deal and done a bite of burger 🍔 I was chewing a fu…. Paper and I have a picture of it…. That if incredible what if children will have a bite and not gunna realise and get choke or poisoned… today I gave them other chance and my meal were so salty the filing ware I’m eating chunk of salt.. incredible how such a place still exists. Via the drive by ordering service, I ordered meals for myself and fellow passengers, upon leaving realised the order were wrong and cold and no receipt inside the bag. I had to then drive around again only to be told I did not order something I clearly ordered. Staff were very hostile and rude the whole time, all whilst my. Children who are autistic and starting to get agitated were clearly heard by the staff, and instead of a gesture of goodwill or apologising the manager was very condescending and even suggested to drive back around, this would be a third time. I've never experienced such rude staff and service via a drive by before. Awful experience for me and children. Poor

Just ordered two big Mac and a chicken mc sandwich. Came home with one big Mac chicken sandwich and chicken select. How is that even possible? I live all the way in Upminster, what’s the point of driving all the way back? I would want to refund as it spoiled What should’ve been a good meal with the family. How simple can it be to give people what they order?

I visited on saturday evening (20th April 2024), with my husband and grandchildren. The manager ( I think he was the manager) worked so hard all the time we were there. He was cleaning tables, floor, directing the traffic in the car park, and he helped me master the order board for a gluten free burger. Full marks to him, thank you.

Busy old place but still quick service

Today, Me and my family went to go to mcdonalds because we were starving. We ordered the food and it came pretty quick. We ordered a chocolate milkshake and it tasted like expired milk with chocolate and cherries.We went to gef some sauces that you get from the pump. And this rude cleaning lady(she was short, blonde, had her hair in a ponytail) came up to us very rudely and said that “there are pots for your sauce for a reason so use it”. We were using the pots anyways so she didnt need to say and be rude about it. She should be at least sacked or fired for treating customers like this. Who knows how she treats other people. She was extremely rude and does not deserve to work here. It is a disgrace to the brand. We also were drinking a milkshake and we spilt a tiny bit on the seat but we immediately cleaned it up but then she told us in a rude way again “could you clean that up because its on my chair”. My sister had apologised but the lady did not seem to accept and continued to give us a dirty look and continued giving us these looks the rest of our time here.In addition,before we left,we went over to put the trays into bin,we were realt confused and she came over and started saying unclear and rude instructions like ‘put that in the bin’ and also ‘leave it’,then when my sister and mum placed down the trays and followed what she said,the lady shoved both of them!! UNACCEPTABLE!! I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK! If any mcdonald employees are seeing this review, please check the security cameras at the condiments table and stools. You will see how she acted. I've had enough of this nonsense. Ordered a delivery yet we, had a missing item. Tried to get a refund but it was impossible. This has been recurring significant times. Sort it out. Food came squashed and cold. 8 quid down the drain. Ruined the whole meal and many more from previous orders. Infuriated. Fillet O Fish came with a only half a measly slice of cheese. Utterly disappointed.

Nice atmosphere and incredibly delicious food

Easy to order on touch screens once mastered. Great food and drink. Car park space widths are small, even my Fabia exceeded the widths of the space. And if you park beside the approach to the drive through (like I did) you cannot get out of the space because you are blocked by the queueing traffic. And no basta#d will reverse or stop a car length back for a few seconds to allow you out. Other then that, quite a good place!

Staff here are amazing 👏 massive well done. Always friendly and have a great repour with customers. The managers are super nice & speak highly of their staff, just as it should be. My big shout out goes to Dimeji, he has definitely been bought up right. Just an all round lovely guy, always got a smile on his face and has an amazing way about him.. I'm a retail manager and I would most definitely keep hold of him, he will go places with his character alone. Just brilliant well done xx

Absolute joke! Went to collect my order from drive through, when I arrived home I found out that I was given half a cheese in my fillet o fish burger. Talk about big cut backs it is absolutely appalling. They are lucky I had given them 1 star for getting my order correct let alone half a cheese.

Having been a number of times I've calculated you have about a 50/50 chance of them messing up your order. Very young staff that struggle with workload.

This is the worst McDonald's the staff and management are rude and unhelpful only an hour wait for food for them to tell me its not there problem at all. Not happy about this, the McDonald's should be shut down or new management put in place. I would like to hear from Jerry as my kids had to go hungry all morning waiting for this food and they wasn't even going to make. Disgusted . My lad has food allergy’s . I ordered food minus the sauce . I was in a rush so didn’t check burgers . Got home and they had sauce . Dinner had to go in the bin . No time to go back in. So often do they get this wrong no mater how clear I make it . Waste of money again.

Today I got delivered a order with an item missing and they say no one can do nothing about it (usually uber refund your missing items, well not this time) we call we ask and the answer is shocking, anyone can get free food except customers, customers get charged. I had a terrible experience with one of your spicy chicken dishes. It was super dry and small, which makes me think it may have been sitting out for a while. Additionally, the portion of chips I received was less than what I expected for a large portion. I come to this restaurant often, but this time was disappointing. If this is the way you are cooking probably it's a waste of time to report it to the counter. Why I should come back?

I never normally write reviews but John (I think! A manager with glasses) is deserving of recognition. Super polite, I saw him helping various customers during our meal, and as we were leaving wished us well with a smile. Such a simple thing to provide good customer service but it really makes a difference. Hat off to the rest of the staff too, never had a bad experience here, always seem to be hard at work.

This McDonald's is located on the A127 next to Bryant Avenue, Harold Wood. They sell the usual McDonald's menu of nuggets, burgers, fries, wraps, ice cream and drinks. Customers can order online, in-store using "touch screen" screens and also at the counter. There is also a drive through, but do note that it gets busy, especially at lunch time. Seating is available inside. The staff are friendly and helpful.

To be honest you don't expect much from McDonald's and I haven't been to one for many years. However, on the way home I thought I would pop in for 4 orders of large fries and 2 vanilla milkshakes (Saturday around 1800). Well all I can say is it took 25 minutes for this order whereas people who had burgers being cooked only waited maybe 10. I could have made a fuss earlier but as it was busy I thought I won't, but next time (well there won't be a next time) I will say something sooner. Seriously 25 minutes is ridiculous and yes it was busy but my god the fries are pre cooked and all they had to do was use a milkshake machine. Utterly calamitous and simply pathetic but as I said you expect nothing less. I asked for something free given the wait and the manager said no. PATHETIC. I did feel a bit like William "D-Fens" Foster.

Good place not bad food but too small ordering area

To me it's good because I haven't had any problems at McDonald's. The food wasn't cold, which I like, and toilets are fine. Nothing really wrong and the staff was good to me.

Me and two mates came here for a late night dinner after we had finished work. The food was cold and soggy but honestly we didn’t seem to mind to much, however after spending a lot of money here our car unexpectedly broke down and we was there for 2 hours trying to fix it. Due in this time I desperately needed to use the toilet and being 26 weeks pregnant it was unbearable to hold it. I politely asked a man Woking if I could use the toilet and was rudely told no I explained that I have rights to use the toilet as I’m pregnant and all I got was rude faces and back chat. A kind lady who was also working tried helping me get access to the toilet as I was on the verge of crying and he still rudely refused and started talking down to me. I will never again be using this McDonald’s and am disgusted that I was spoken to so rudely. Being a pregnant woman I do have right and it is wrong to talk down to someone who is pregnant and I’ll be taking this report further.

Friendliest drive through staff, excellent food!

If you order on a Friday or the weekend, particularly in the evening, its not very good. The chips will always be ridiculously undercooked, oilly or both. Without fail its to the point they are inedible. Unless youre drunk and will eat anything. Which you probably are.

Can be quite slow at times but can't fault quality

This is the McDonald's in the brewery. Went there after a visit to the cinema. Well, absolutely disgusting 🤢. The place stank off pee. Right next to the pick up point for food orders. This cannot be acceptable. I walked straight out. This branch needs to be reported to the food standard agency. And closed down until the disgusting conditions are put right. Don't go there if you value your health.

Very slow, seems to cater to 1000 delivery drivers before anyone in person. Better to drive through if possible.
