Massive thanks to the team who helped me on 5th February night around 8pm. I had my car breakdown and had to leave it with the garage next door, but had now ay to get the key to them as they had closed. The team on shift were super helpful in taking my key for me and handing it over to the dealer the next day. I felt very fortunate to have been treated with such empathy and humanity - I'm only sorry I didn't have time to stop and get a meal!

Seriously, it’s not busy at all, 2am on a thursday night, and you cannot deliver a big mac? How do you mistake a big mac for 2 x fries??? This place is always constantly making mistakes. Whoever is working a night shift right now, 24/01/25 at 2am, fire them they take 1 hr to deliver an order, a simple order btw, then mistake a big mac for 2x large fries. As someone who used to work here, how hard is it????!! You had more than enough time to simply make a big mac. Didn’t realise the kind of people they were employing nowadays. Chrikey.

This restaurant is abhorrent. I would much rather drive up to mark’s gate to get my McDonald’s than go here again. I honestly think that the only reason that this restaurant has had any purchases is because it’s convenient, why else would someone want to eat such soggy and cold food. Many a time I have ordered at the drive thru and have been sent to the car park for them to bring out my food, if I wanted to wait for my food I would’ve ordered it inside. The staff are slow and do not want to be there and this is made very apparent by the way that they speak to their customers. The food is always cold and soggy by the time I get home and I live 3 minutes away from the branch. Aswell as this they always find a way to forget parts of my order meaning that I have to go back down there again. Me and many others have had enough. I hope that the manager(s) look into this before they get no business whatsoever.

Today I thought I’d treat me and my partner to McDonald’s breakfast as we don’t live in the area, nor do we have one near us. I ordered a mighty McMuffin meal with a 7-Up. I also ordered a breakfast wrap with a 7-Up as well and then an app offer an egg and bacon McMuffin ( I asked for them to add sausage as well) With a hash brown. Once I picked up my order and I parked up in the bay, I double checked my order and noticed one of the hashbrowns were missing, So I went back round the drive-through and informed the worker that one of the hashbrowns were missing As this is one of the main things that my partner only eat.. the Manager refused to give over the hash brown as she thought I was lying, made me park up in a bay just for her to show me some footage of them “putin the hash brown in the bag” even though I went straight back round so therefore, I asked For a refund and to place my order again. Once I reached the window for the A lovely black boy gave his apologies and said there was a mistake by one of the team members they put it in a separate bag which I Didn’t Receive… So he offered to remake my food, which I accepted. I still by this point never Had an apology by the manager… Once I got home, there was still stuff wrong with My order in my app offer me there was no sausage which I paid extra for and couldn’t Travel all the way back as I live 30 minutes away.. I don’t How A simple order can get Confusing so I only could imagine what could happen with a big order. Manager was rude!

Fairly decent McDonald’s as they go. Has recently had a refit so is modern inside and while the drive through can be very busy the services is normally fast and efficient. Not much parking onsite however and can be easy blocked in by car queuing for the drive through.

I am beyond furious with McDonald's Gallows Corner! I placed my order at 5:45pm and it didn't arrive until 10PM. Yes, you read that right—FOUR HOURS AND FIFTEEN MINUTES for fast food! How is that even acceptable?! First, I was told my food would be here by 6:05 - 6:20. Fine. Then it was pushed to 6:15 - 6:30. Okay. But it didn't stop there! The times kept shifting again and again! At that point, I knew something was wrong and started taking screenshots every time they extended it (and trust me, there were plenty of screenshots). But here’s what really set me off—the app wouldn’t even let me cancel the order! Seriously? The message said, "the restaurant may have started preparing your order," so I had no option to back out. This is complete manipulation. How can I be held hostage by a fast food chain that can't even get a basic order out on time? I called the restaurant over and over, but the calls didn’t go through. Every single time—‘user is busy.’ I couldn't even reach anyone to cancel! After wasting two and a half hours of my life waiting, I decided this was never going to arrive, so I went out for dinner instead. Then, out of nowhere, someone’s at my door at 10PM with a McDonald’s delivery?! The driver did his job, no issue with him, but now because it was delivered, I’m stuck having to pay for food I didn’t even want anymore? That’s a scam if I’ve ever seen one! I rejected the food and even tried to give it to the driver, but he left it on my porch instead. Again, no complaints about the driver, he was polite and just doing his job. But this restaurant? This is by far the WORST experience I’ve ever had with any fast food establishment. It’s an utter disgrace. Completely unacceptable, horrendous service, and total incompetence from start to finish. I am absolutely disgusted with how McDonald’s handled this. This kind of service is a joke, and you’ve lost a customer for good. Shame on you!

Ordered for a delivery and it still isn’t here well over an hour later. This store has shut down its website during this, and is now closed for deliveries, and yet hasn’t cancelled my order. I’ve tried to call but it hangs up immediately so now I’m stuck with an ongoing order and my money taken from my account. EDIT: Received after 2!!! hours. ALL of the food is cold, drinks are spilt in the bag, burgers are unassembled and boxes are melting due to condensation. The fries were all upside down in the bag. No straws were given either. The driver was upset and apologising profusely that it was taking so long which made me feel terrible for him as he is now missing out on money for this. I’m genuinely so disappointed as I’ve never experienced service this bad from this McDonalds. I will be inquiring further with just eat as my families Friday night dinner was ruined and inedible.

It was lovely being served by someone so genuinely happy and helpful (the guy who took my order at approx 12.30am 30.09.24). However, the burger was just awful and the fruit bag mouldy. I had a philly cheese burger which should have been lovely with it's ingredients, but everything was freezing cold because they'd decided to put the cheese sauce on straight out of the fridge, so were the crispy onions, and what should have been gorgeous fried onions were also so disgusting because either they were from the fridge too, or the other two stone cold ingredients had made them stone cold too. Cold fried onions are the very opposite of lovely hot ones. Truly, truly awful. To add to this the cheese sauce was so runny that even while eating it over the box I had it drip on my dress twice. It also kept making the burgers slide out of the buns several times. I had to eat it really quickly so the burgers weren't made cold by everything else and before the burgers slid out so badly that they weren't catch-able and hit the floor. I love fruit, and thought well at least this will be nice, but it smelt mouldy as soon as I opened the bag. I didn't take any of this back as I am not feeling well today and didn't want to wait around for another to be cooked. I very rarely eat McDonald's, only when it's handy, but this will be the last time I do so. I honestly don't know how a burger chain can get a burger and bagged fruit so wrong! Now to drink my bottle of water, fingers crossed!

Apart from this September where all of a sudden food was served hot, all previous experience say 8 out 10 visits were as per usual burgers Luke warm if you were lucky french fries soft and Luke warm and milk shakes never consistent sometimes not sweet enough sometimes not cold enough and most times not enough chocolate taste to it. Like I've read other reviews when you complain or bring it to there attention the answers I got a few times was I quote Thats how we do the burgers and milkshakes or they dont give a darn. The Milkshake machine always breakdown and this time the machine in Straight rd, Harold hill about half a mile away from you also had there milkshake machine down, you can't make it up. Its not rocket science or Michelin cousin. Consistency Consistency. Don't cook fries and let them get cold fry smaller batches dont cook burgers and leave them on a hot plate and measurements for milkshakes should be followed as recipe given guide lines.

I've varied orders to avoid this, but it makes no difference. Car nearly hit by one of the many scooter delivery riders on site. I give up, and I'm not using this restaurant again.

Made a mcdelivery order at 14.11 today. They charged me for delivery until I realised I had selected the mcdonalds address as tye delivery address. I was given the drivers contact details so called to see if he would still be able to deliver and spoke to a mcdonalds staff member as his English wasn't good. I gave the staff member my address and they said he said he would deliver it. Uber driver text me for the new address details which I gave. He then blocked me and my order showed as being delivered! I then went to Mcdonalds at Gallow Corner to collect my order as it said it had been delivered to the address on the original order. No one could or was will to help me. Including the manager. He said that on so many occasions uber drivers collect food and never deliver. I tried to call customer services and spoke to two separate people both who explained they couldn't process a refund! I told them I wanted to escalate my complaint whi h they said they couldn't do anything. Mcdonalds have a complaints procedure they are clearly not following. I gave them my contact details and explained I'll be awaiting a response to which I was told I wouldn't get one! There is no accountability from MvDonalds or Uber Eats. I asked if they could contact the driver and ask where he delivered my food. To which they replied NO. This is the last time I'll be ordering from McDonalds directly. As you can see from the other reviews they have a lot to answer for.

Last time I ordered from McDonald's through just eat my family got their food and my entire meal was no delivered I decided perhaps it was just eat at fault and not McDonald's so gave them benefit.of.doubt and ordered today through Uber eats, yet again items from our order for me were not present when delivered so I am sat with nothing yet again. All I get is a refund for missing items is in progress and will be here within 15 days but left with no food again. When trying to call McDonald's to query they answer and immediately just hang up. Then last night got a 2 big macs in a double big mac box and charged for two double mic macs. Saved mine and took it bag to the manager to see the state of the burger as was a mess. He offered to replace but told him to keep the food and money. Disgusting.

“Visited recently and had a bit of a mixed experience. The Coca-Cola tasted strange – not the usual McDonald’s goodness. Tasted like a 5-year-old was mixing drinks unattended at a family gathering, Also, got approached by a couple of crackheads asking for coins in the drive through, which was unexpected.made me almost spill my lemony coke. Edit: I revisited. I must say that my experience was far from satisfactory due to a major oversight in their queue management strategy. Instead of allowing the drive-thru queue to naturally progress, the staff directed cars to park and wait for their orders to clear the drive-thru lane. This restaurant cannot cope with the demand from Deliveroo, drive through and in person customers. Have waited 20 mins for an in person order on last visit and in latest visit to drive through was asked to wait in car park. Car park had no places, and after 25mins and conversation with staff, I had to go in and demand my food. Terrible.

I went through the drive thru. I placed an order, when I got home part was missing some was wrong. I tried calling the restaurant, but no one was answering the phone. I went online and was was dealt with a virtual assistant. Took all my details and the stopped responding. This is not the first time this has happened. So frustrating when one person gets nothing to eat. I understand mistakes happen, but at least make an effort to put it right. Terrible customer service. Feels like got your and don't care now. Will not be ordering again.

No milkshakes as per usual, was not surprised.. But what I was surprised at was the poor service from 2nd window, lady named Charlie.. I asked for tomato sauce.. She said rudely it's in the bag.. I drive of without looking, pulled up down road to look at order, no sauce like Charlie rudely said there was also burger was wrong, so went back to store and went inside, fixed order got sauce and got the extremely rude females name, avoid this mcds, go down Rd to a127 much better service, 9/10 times they have milkshakes so will defo be makin extra journey for that one from now on.. Extremely rude staff at straight Rd mcds 1/10 for service from 2nd window!!

Hey all one day I had meal deal and done a bite of burger 🍔 I was chewing a fu…. Paper and I have a picture of it…. That if incredible what if children will have a bite and not gunna realise and get choke or poisoned… today I gave them other chance and my meal were so salty the filing ware I’m eating chunk of salt.. incredible how such a place still exists. Via the drive by ordering service, I ordered meals for myself and fellow passengers, upon leaving realised the order were wrong and cold and no receipt inside the bag. I had to then drive around again only to be told I did not order something I clearly ordered. Staff were very hostile and rude the whole time, all whilst my. Children who are autistic and starting to get agitated were clearly heard by the staff, and instead of a gesture of goodwill or apologising the manager was very condescending and even suggested to drive back around, this would be a third time. I've never experienced such rude staff and service via a drive by before. Awful experience for me and children. Poor

Just ordered two big Mac and a chicken mc sandwich. Came home with one big Mac chicken sandwich and chicken select. How is that even possible? I live all the way in Upminster, what’s the point of driving all the way back? I would want to refund as it spoiled What should’ve been a good meal with the family. I visited on saturday evening (20th April 2024), with my husband and grandchildren. The manager ( I think he was the manager) worked so hard all the time we were there. He was cleaning tables, floor, directing the traffic in the car park, and he helped me master the order board for a gluten free burger. Full marks to him, thank you.
