The service was good because I didn’t go at a busy time. But the burger was shocking. They weren’t in that much of a rush to not be able to take out some old lettuce. It looks disgusting and tasted gross too made me feel sick.

Am still waiting for food been 18 mins so far …

This is my recent review from this morning. Ordered coffees, and they were useless and cups a half filled and disgusting taste. Staff prepare coffee and leave it for a good five minutes till it gets cold, and then we are served cold coffee if you order hot coffee. Staff was too busy and rushed to attend to any customer need. In the past, I have had a good experience with Holly (Molly) and Miles-both are great and very helpful. Not a good customer service.

Wallahi i waited 13 mins for 2 hashbrowns

Google says it has a Drive Thru... Google is tat! No Drive Thru here.

What can I say, its McDonald's. This one is in a supermarket.

Probably the most unique McDonald's I've been to, located within an ASDA, strange, but it is what it is, just like any McDonald's in terms of food, service and atmosphere, no drive thru though and hard to notice from the outside, but immediately recognisable from the inside.

Very slow service and long wait for the food which was wrong when it came out. Need to improve how slow the food takes to come out

I'm just leaving a review on the service and not for food , my dad collapsed today and wow the staff were amazing, stayed with him until I got there, called 999 3 tines for ambulance update and then stayed with us the whole time, totalling about 4 hours. I'm so sorry, I can only remember the name Jason. You were all so calm and helpful and we honestly can't thank you enough xx

Long waiting time, even if there’s not so many orders displayed on the screen. Orders are often incorrect.

Worse McDonald's I've ever been to food is always cold and the burgers always look like they've been thrown in the box, what a waste of money

Fast food and good drinks at reasonable prices, served with a smile.

I do love the taste of Mcds it's always nice however they really need to consider upping their portions.

Long wait for food and when it arrived it was cold. The tables weren't clean. Won't be going here again. On the plus side the young lady I spoke to about cold food couldn't have been more helpful.

Stopped here a few times and always gave them the benefit of the doubt. Slow service, disinterested staff and cold food every time. The chips and McChicken sandwich was stone cold. I will not be back.

Constantly only giving me half a McFlurry and when i order a toy with my sons happy meal they gave him a book and he started balling his eyes out yet they kicked us out because we where being ‘disruptive’

Definitely not a fast food service. Waited for 10 minutes to be served at the counter. The gent infront of me ordered 5 mcflurrys, 1 was wrong. The one they took off that guy they tried giving to another customer. Waited a further 10 minutes for a simple happy meal. Considering it took so long, the meal was luke warm to practically cold. Wouldn't mind if it was hot and freshly cooked

Order a coke and nephew had a 3 chicken select meal, the coke has a funny smell to it. Neice had a sip and is now at the hospital! Thanks!

Food was burt and I had a bad stomach after eating

I've only been to this one 4 times and every single time I've had to go back for items missing in my order. Today there were no dips and my niece got a book in the happy meal when we asked for a toy. Last time my wrap was missing. Just chips and a drink in the bag along with a happy meal. Surely the main part of the meal missing must be obvious to the person packing it!? I can't imagine caring so little about a job to make such minimal effort.

This is not a proper McDonalds a few things missing from the menu .However it is a good place to eat. There is no room for a drive through so that's not a problem. If you connect to the WIFI use the Asda one its much quicker.

During our stay at McDonald's we found the staff very helpful and friendly and the store was very clean and we felt Safe to eat there.

Customer service is always good, food was hot and fresh. Easily accessible with free parking in Asda. The prices are responsible with a large menu to choose from. Friendly and approachable staff who are always helpful and polite. It can get busy during the peak times so you may incur a wait to be served. This isn't a standalone McDonald's this is built in to Asda supermarket so will follow the opening and closing times of Asda, worth baring in mind. Great place if you need a quick bite to eat on the go, you have the option to be able to sit down if needs be but I've always just got my food and left. If you're in the area and need a quick bite, pop in and choose from a large menu and get a quick hot meal for a good price

Can not believe the experience I just received in the McDonald’s Julia the so called manager did not apologise once! I ordered four breakfast meals all without egg and asked to add bacon instead and of course I pod the extra. I received the order and when I got to the car all the labels said ‘no round egg’ and bacon but inside the wrappers they ALL had egg wow! Anyway went back inside told the manager not once did she apologised she went off in a huff took the sandwiches and threw them in the bin! She then screamed at her staff to make the correct order waited 10 mins for this she then handed me the bag (still no apology) as I walked off I checked again surely can’t be wrong again but just incase.. and what do you know none of them had bacon!!!! So of course I went back to the same manager she was fuming but no apology she opened them up herself and added bacon then rudely said to me ‘ they all have bacon and sausage now, okay’ in a very patronising manor. To which I said third time lucky I hope! Still no apology. Disgusted with her attitude Julia if your reading this, manners don’t cost a thing learn some Love. Awful service!!!

It's a basic mcd' s only there's a longer wait and they haven't managed to get a whole order right for us yet, always putting something in when it's asked to leave out or forgetting extras that have been paid for

Very slow service today even though it was quiet

Much better than rival burger chains. Clean and tidy, food was piping hot. Get a 4 as milkshake machine broke... Again!!!!! Seems to be the norm unfortunately.... Buy a different model or brand of machine please that actually works!!!!

Went for takeaway breakfast, fast service and delivery of food. For was hot and tasty!

Friendly staff and good quality food. This McDonald's is rather convenient for being inside of the Asda superstore.

Waited twenty min for a wrap and double cheeseburger. Staff cant even crack a smile. Ignorant. Food looked like it was kicked around the kitchen. Made me late for work as was on dinner break. One of the worst I've ever been to.

The food as usual was great but there is one gentleman who made the experience a whole lot nicer, his name is Harrison, I have a 4 year old son and Harrison interacted lovely with him, his customer service was spot on and I noticed how he was with all the other customers, a really pleasant gentlemen

I visited the Cardiff Gate branch to grab a coffee and this was great. My reason for the 3 star rating was witnessing a lad approaching people at their tables asking for money and this was not stopped by the staff.

Staff seemed to be confused. There were no fizzy drinks. It is inside Asda so no drive through. Not very clean

I love this place it's the most entertaining McDonalds I have ever been to. Always brings a smile to my face to see the customers in their onesys and PJ's and slippers ordering their favourite lazy food at least 3 times a day. This place has character and should go down as the best restaurant ever. It's good to know that McDonald's is contributing to a bright future of healthy eating individuals and a hang out for kids to get health diseases at such a young age I also would like to give credit to the parents for letting their kids achieve such great things. Newport has a bright future ahead 👍

Good hot food, quality service

Wasn't over impressed with a member of staff . Asked the young man serving us do you do decaffeinated coffee I am not sure I don't know. The latte is that the same price as normal coffee not sure. Staff training is required so they can answer any question asked .

Fast, reliable( didn't forget my order) food itself was really good especially their cheeseburgers

The food service here is of good standard. However, compared to other McDonald's in the area it is lacking in its features and appearance. A focus on a refurbishment of this store seems necessary.

Friendly staff nothing to much trouble. Normally call up there for a coffee and cookie a couple of times a week when l am out walking.

Got home, fries were cold and hard. Chicken dippers were lush.

Used drive through. Long queue. While waiting for the food the counter assisstent was throwing coffee beans at another counter assisstent.

Absolute joke of a McDonald's franchise. I hate coming here but it's the closest to home. The majority of staff are polite but simply not good enough. Nothing is ever ready so it really is not a fast food restaurant. The staff continue to take your money meaning there is a horrendous build up of customers waiting on food that simply hasn't been cooked yet.

Limited menu but very convenient. Could do with the flavoured coffees.

Not much choice for vegetarians. Would be nice to see some special vegetarian items once in a while.

It's a concession so it hasn't got a full menu, can't get a free drinks refill in there and the service is pretty slow as well

Restricted menu due to size. Very pleasant team. Clean lobby although a little chilly.

Called here today with an order for 15 people and not only was the food served quickly bit the full order was correct first time. Staff very helpful.

Not bad for the price only downside it's very crowded.
