Wtf is this £2.25 for just ice cream no sauce in mc Flurry no chocolate!! Missing happy meal ordered on app no choice to get money back. apart from a one good batch off chips the other day this is a sht show 🤷🏼‍♂️ 13£ for one half eaten mc Flurry 1 cheeseburger 2 chicken mayos 😂😂😂😂

We went for some food after watching Bedford Town v QPR (Dev) played at Hitchin Town at approximately 10pm on Friday 12 July. On arrival it wasn’t too busy, people were milling around and some cars in the drive through. We walked in and the whole place was spotless, some ares were closed down for the night (they close at 11pm) which made sense. We ordered easy from the giant boards - which in themselves were clean - then waited for our order. Everything was cooked fresh, was piping hot and delicious! We tried the new super stack burger and it was hands down the best one we have had! Our son had a classic Big Mac which he supersized himself by adding nuggets and fries - that was also cooked fresh and he said was super tasty! There were some local teenagers who arrived and were being quite loud and brash. The whole team handled them efficiently, with the right level of strength of tone while maintaining great customer service - advising them that they could order but wait outside (it was a mild and dry night) there was some resistance and unsavoury behaviour, this was all managed excellently by the staff team. The team were apologetic to us, which absolutely wasn’t required as it didn’t impact our dining experience in any way - although my son did appreciate the complimentary McFlurry from Maddie. If we are ever in the area again we will 100% go back - apologies for not getting all the team’s names - a huge well done though you are all fabulous!

I ordered through the app a Big Mac meal chicken dippers and a double cheese burger, turned up quick but cheese burger and ketchup dip was missing tried ringing the branch but no answer, rang the uber guy but he said I have to contact Mac Donald’s. Would had they answered the phone, not happy and out of pocket

Slow service and everything was cold worst mac we've used never again management need to sort this if you have any this is not acceptable for what it costs

I go to the drive through quite regularly, I can not describe how rude most of the staff are with a few exceptions. Orders are often wrong even very small orders ! When handing the food out there is one girl in particular that shoves the food at you, stares blankly with no greeting, smile or a thank you, just down right rude !! If I was the manager I would seriously take a look at how your staff deal with customers. You are lucky that this is Mcdonalds, you would get no returning customers if this was an independent restaurant. I do not often complain but this Mcdonads is the pit !

Having driven to Hitchin for an appt, Stopped for a quick burger. Parking is awkward, tight turn, you need to be in the drive through queue before you can go around. Auto machines advised take-out only, even though there were empty tables. Waiting not too long, but seemed to do easy orders before family bulk orders.

Always waiting ages going through the drive through, when you get to the point of ordering they are just plain rude. Don’t ask whether you want medium or large, rush you and make you forget things! Never give you the salsa dip for nacho bites or mozzarella dippers. While I was sat waiting in the car, I witnessed absolutely disgusting behaviour by young teenagers, sat on tables and getting on stools and vaping! Young children were eating their dinner with families and staff just allowed for them to continue being idiots! I avoid going to McDonald’s in Hitchin, as it is usually cold and naff. But on the off chance the chips are hot! But after getting my meal tonight, I shall not be returning and will tell others to not bother also. Terrible service and stone cold chips and burgers! Hitchin McDonald… sort it out!!

Sat with my daughter and witness one of the staff members I believe might be management shouting abuse at some young lads that have just walked in shout for them to leave if they aren't ordering the young lads were just sat waiting for there friends food and she made them wait outside another group of lads were sat eating nicely and she hoovering about waiting for them to finish to kick them out absolutely disgusting behaviour

Our kids love McDonald's but the one in Hitchin always serves undercooked and usually cold fries. Even though though these days the burgers are supposedly made fresh they are always cold from Hitchin. There is usually some problem or another going on at this place and something from the menu is unable to be served. Yesterday we got the wrong wrap in our order, the kids wanted crayons for the colouring sheets but of course there weren't any. We had to ask for our table to be wiped clean but all of them in the restaurant were dirty but she didn't bother doing any of the many other dirty tables. The place is run by youngsters who don't really have any idea or experience or really seem to care all that much.

Awful restaurant! The staff are all young and mess around chucking food , my order was messed up they sent two chips in my happy meal instead of nuggets . Also I order off Uber eat where this restaurant, always forgets bits on my order they don’t sent sauces or miss an item off my order . Food is always cold and buglers are out g together messy and they fall apart Stevenage mc Donald is a much better place and run better

I ordered 3 sausage muffins, 5 hashbrowns and 2 teas. What was delivered (with the receipt for everything I ordered) was a single muffin, single hashbrown and a small coke. Obviously someone else's order. If you cannot read from a list of items and place them into a bag and hand it to a driver then my god! No fault of Just Eat as the bag had my receipt on it. Full failure from the restaurant. Avoid if you actually want what you paid for!

KUJIM! The man behind the fries. 10 out of 10. If it’s not Kujim, I don’t want it. Dedicated to his craft. Fresh, hot and flavourful. Focused and grounded. We love to see it. Best fries I’ve had in years. Kujim is the name - if I’m not mistaken 😇

Not exactly fast food,…. Undercooked chips and cold, no excuse when busy restaurant not to have freshly cooked chips. One burger was not what we ordered and the other speciality burger had no spice and tasted like it had been sat around for hours .

This McDonald’s location is absolutely fantastic. A young woman named ela shibli served me and she was the most helpful employee ever. In my old age I have started to suffer from spells of confusion at random points throughout the day, and this young employee explained everything to me and helped me through the whole food ordering process. The younger generation is absolutely marvellous and makes me proud every day, especially this ela shibli who helped me. Everyone should be more like her.

Received order very quickly and all food was delicious , fantastic customer service from Ela, definitely returning in the near future !

Amazing customer experience, we went to get our order and the lady in the till Josefina was really patient and kind with us even though our kid took forever to order. They gave us everything in the order really quickly aswell. Best experience ever at Mc Donald’s

Went here for some breakfast today, they gave me 2 drinks instead of the 3 I asked for. When told about the mistake the only answer was “we’re busy drive back round”. The manager “aslan” was Particularly rude, he’s letting that branch down and deferring customers else where, as I for one will never be back x

I’ve been here multiple times, staff are always rude and unwelcoming. I visited yesterday and every member of staff at the window was unfriendly and didn’t even smile. The wait times are always long and orders are normally incorrect. Once I ordered mozzarella dippers (I’m vegetarian) and I got a box of chicken nuggets. Not a nice place to visit.

🤢 wife has been vomiting and in bed with headache plus gas and the sqitts. Only thing we ate today was from mcd’s. Very likely the reason our simple order chips, quarter pounder with cheese, chicken wrap took so long to prepare.

Thought I'd grab lunch at this mc donalds, it was disgusting, cold, dried out burgers that had obviously been cooked several hours beforehand, do yourself a favour, save your money and go somewhere that cooks fresh food !

My latest visit pretty much summed up my recent experiences, staff were not paying attention to anything that wasn't drive through, or a delivery driver . Arrived just before 10 pm (closes at 11), stood by a locked door for several minutes before giving up...

Once again I visit this branch and once again there's an issue. I've been a few times to be told their system is down. On top of this the food is also normally cold. Soggy chips and rarely salted. I even had full on aggression...

Ordered 4 meals... Waited ages, then got given large bag and 4 drinks. Drove home... No fries... No sauce for the chicken selects or nuggets. Useless. Ripped off. Avoid.

Usually moan about this branch (with good cause) but today breakfast was served quickly (ten minutes ish) and was hot. A few other diners complained about incorrect orders but staff seemed to sort it quickly and with good cheer.

Food was appalling (cold and tasteless). Slow service. Horrible experience really disappointing as I expected better from such a beautiful area.

We waited 20 minutes for our food order to find out the it's the wrong order. There was about 20 staff behind the kitchen area, you would think atleast 1 member if staff knew what they were doing !! The car park is ridiculously small...

Always allow at least ten to fifteen minutes when you go to this branch of McDonald’s. Also ALWAYS check your order before you leave as it is (for me anyway) incorrect 50% of the time. Admittedly sometimes you are given extra food for free but...

Went in here a few weeks back in a hunger emergency. I'm not a fan of McDonald's at all, so it was a realittle emergency! Anyway ordered a quaterpounder from the digital board as the queues were too long, I then asked a member of staff how often the touch screen and are cleaned (Google the swab tests on them) she looked at me like I was insane. I then asked if the had hand sanitizer to clean my hands after touching it and do then eating my burger. She told me she didn't know what that was. I asked where I could clean my hands and she pointed at the tiny bathroom which I found had urine everywhere and was certainly worse than the screen. I thenjoy asked another member of staff how they cleaned their hands before handling the food.... apparently that's not required. Still are the burger as it was an emergency, but like the others have said I waited ages, it was cold and it would not have surprised me if they fished out out the bin with the attitude

I'm sure the kids that run that mc Donald's in letchworth are forced to work there... the customer service is just terrible.. The frozen lemonade was so sour and gross I had to take it back. While I waited a good 5 mins before someone even came out to the front.. Many more people were also taking stuff back or getting stuff they didn't get. They need to get some adults in there and teach these kids the right was to deal with paying customer's. Customer service should be a top priority. Maybe even smile and same thanks once in a while.

There's usually nothing wrong with the food or the staff, but there are nearly always long waits. A couple of weeks ago, I stopped in for lunch before catching a train to take a job interview. I left 40 minutes for my meal to arive and me to eat it. However, it didn't turn up, and I had to dash out for my train, which I only just caught. Thankfully, at least I got the job!

Always have found the food very good and staff very friendly, surprised to see the review of poor service. The car park is a problem but usually have no problem, don't use the drive thru, can't eat a big mac and not move out of the car seat.

Very good went through the drive through did not have to quee this time. Service was quick and food hot.

I don't go to MC Donalds as often now as this local one put me off. No matter what your order and no matter what time of day, my experience is... Just park up over their please. Staff are lovely but service is very very poor.

I have used this restaurant many times over the years, due to having children, and I can honestly say the service gets worse every visit. Used the drive through tonight, asked to go to second window to wait for food. When delivered half of it was missing, they then gave me the order for the car behind me, when I was telling the manager the problem he ignored me and spoke to the person in the car behind me. So bloody rude. After two more attempts they got my order right. Never ever will I use this restaurant again. Disgraceful service

Awful service and nightmare when you get asked to wait and there's nowhere to wait for your food. We got our son a happy meal yesterday and got home to find no fries in with the Nuggets 😣.

This McDonald's is always disappointing. They have really bad access, parking and drive-through so it is constantly a hassle to get in and out of.

This is the SLOWEST McDonalds I have ever visited. Every time I go, it’s even worse!!! You queue for ages (drive through or restaurant) and at least expect your food to be fresh after such a ridiculous wait. But no. It’s cold and clearly been there for ages. I’m writing this while I wait for the drive through (no where to park or I would go in) and so far at 20 minutes just to get to the order window. God knows how long before I get the order.

Food took over 15 minutes, chips missing from order and lettuce missing from the burger AGAIN.....call your self a fast food establishment LOL

We come here often, but mostly for the breakfast. Don't really have many complaints, but just one...

Popped in for a quick snack after a 12 hour shift at 20.25 on a Thursday evening, then waited 15 minutes for the food, spoke to staff who shrugged and asked for the Manager, who apologised, said it was due to one of the meals we had ordered, absolute rubbish as the guy in front of me ordered a standard cheeseburger and also waited 15 minutes.

Very poor service and rude staff, we attempted to order 3 separate orders whilst using the drive through which seemed reasonable to us.. sadly

Se thought we would treat the kids to mcflurrys so went through the drive through, what a mistake, it took so long to get our food, we live close by but when we got home they were warm liquid, they had never been set. One also had a strange red substance in the bottom, phoned to complain and was meet by nothing but rudeness! Dreadful quality of food and service. Avoid

Parking is a nuisance especially at rush hour when the line of cars can stretch back to Nightingale road. Also they should take responsibility for the empty food cartoons horrible people drop on the floor.

Food quality never seems to vary, whether breakfast or later, So it's ideal for those times when nothing else will quite do!

Visited here after driving 3 hours, to feed the children before having to attend a good friends funeral.

Hardly ever had a bad mcdonalds unless I try something unusual. Stick to Big Macs nuggets and mcflurrys and you can't go wrong
