Best fish I’ve tried. The batter was very flavoursome, fresh and clean with nice customer service. Very impressed.

Sadly let down by the fact it's at a motorway service station the young lad who served me had a good customer service attitude, dealing with three orders at a time ( 1 customer waiting in the seating area a food delivery and then mine) apart from the cook he was the only person serving. The senior person meal was excellent value for money the chips were freshly cooked

Quality is back up again. Batter crispy. Chips well cooked. Fish fresh and tasty. Yum. Yum! Staff friendly too. Have been coming for years. They had a bad patch a while ago but new staff are now in place and everything is delicious!

After just moving to Essex, I can now buy even fresher cod for much cheaper! You guys should be ashamed and nonwonder why you will not be there in the next 5 years, if I can get fresher cod, bigger pieces for two adults at £22! You guys need to stop robbing your customers, we will be happy to say goodbye to you if you carry on, but anyone who's reading this go travel 40 minutes somewhere close to the sea and it'll be cheaper. This company has had its day period. Absolutely shocked, Essex is cheaper than you guys and it's closer to London, have a word befire you are force to shut!

The advertised closing time was 8pm the day I went, so I went in at 7:45pm and was told that they had already closed. What am I supposed to say?

Deep blue sea fish and chips. Fish poor, flat, batter no crunch, very soggy. Chips also dry not very thick. Curry sauce like water very disappointing and mushy peas also runny. Bought 2 at £32total I wouldn't go back ,id go independent

Wife just got back with this Absolute rubbish. Fish and chips looked as if it was sitting all day in the fryer. Couldn't even eat it as it was so bad. Wouldn't even give this to the dog. Never will use this place again.

Very disappointed tonight. We went to this chip shop , was told no fish left at 8ish pm. Left with chips only, asked for salt and vinegar. Got home no salt and vinegar, no problem put our own on.. The chips were dry and tasteless. Will not be going there again.

Twice I have walked in to buy fish and chips , the first time the man behind the counter started to talking general chit chat with someone who came In after me. Then today I walked in the staff saw me but carried on watching the horse racing . Walked out won't be going back Update changed rating as went in the other day all has improved New staff

£6.99 for a small handful of cold chips and a tiny bit of burnt, oily fish. I took it back, the members of staff weren't too apologetic but eventually issued me a refund. Do not recommend! Go to Rock fryers or Oh My Cod.

What a Con. DO NOT GO TO THE DEEP BLUE FISH BAR AT 2 Arena.Letchworth. They advertise fish and chips for £6.99. I got charged for £9.18 for a small cod and chips. She said the reason being that the "special offer is for Hake and chips." Not very visable on their posters. Won't be going there again.

Atmosphere depends on who is in the shop

Very expensive and the portions are a bit too small £2 for a table spoon of mushy peas and £1.69 for canned drinks make the extras poor value for money

Lovely piece of cod and a very good price

Ordered regular Cod and Chips, £11, tiny piece of poor quality fish, served in broken segments, thin, soggy batter. Service was Fawlty Towers like, customers standing, bemused and frustrated, staff muddling up orders, one customer pays for double fish and chips, having only ordered single fish and chips, staff said customer would receive refund of the extra fish and chips, but refund not given, and customer leaves with single fish and chips, having paid for double Won't be using this establishment again.

I came in today on my work break, and was greeted by the lovely man (with his hair tied back), the food was fresh and the chips were crispy. The two men who were in at around 1:30pm were so interested in involving themselves in a conversation with me it was nice to know that they value their customers!!! Xx

The staff, Romeo Tad, was very accommodating to us during our dine in. He made sure to give us freshly cooked fish and chips, plus we had free fish for our family! We had a wonderful meal!

The most over priced chip shop. Small chips was less than a child’s portion and the battered sausage was very over cooked. Also had to wait 15 minutes for this. Extortionate prices definitely do not recommend, take your money elsewhere and get 3 times as much for your money.

Food was good, cod could have been a bit bigger as it was on the small side but overall food was tasty and would recommend

I've had the £6.99 Fish & Chips deal twice this week. The chips are just how I like them, the fish was flavoursome; not sure if it is Cod but it tasted different. It all tasted like seaside Fish & Chips.

Asked for 2 large chips was definitely not large chips , the chips looked over cooked some chips were black they were chewy and they looked like the left over chips ,disgusting my son could not eat them ,will not be ordering chips from here again

Very expensive, the portion sizes were very small and the chips where hard and crunch. Very disappointed when the review said “hands down the best chipshop”. Not in my opinion. Sorry guys, you need to shape up your act.

Great Fish and Chips at a reasonable price. Especially with their "Free chips with fish" deal. Eve was very helpful on multiple occasions, she was great with our 2 year old and spoke to my in laws in Polish to make it easier for them to order. All around great service, and best of all, it's one of few Fish and Chip shops that are actually open on Sundays

New management - food is banging

Ordered large chips, large battered sausage and tub of curry sauce which came to just under £10. Chips not crispy and undercooked, some had a fishy taste. The curry sauce was like water, could not eat this. Far too much salt put on the chips. Very overpriced for low quality food, Will not be returning.

Had a lovely lunchtime treat today, treated myself to a cod and chips lunch. My food was freshly cooked and tasted out of this world. I was served today by Lisa, what a lovely, friendly, polite and very helpful member of staff. I was more then satisfied with my lunch and the overall service I was given.

Just spent £40 on dinner for Family. Ordered, took over half hour when we got home. Scampi burnt to the point couldn’t eat. Phoned back, explained and was hung up on. Can’t believe the treatment.
