Mcdonalds in South Lanarkshire

Went to McDonalds today in Hamilton with my friend for a quick bite to eat. Never ever again, the food was awful, overpriced cardboard. £29 for two McChicken meals and two Burger meals, with fries and a drink. Lord it was bad, and I mean bad. Burger cold, McChicked sandwich luke warm, fries barely warm. Bland in taste they had forgotten to complete the order in full, so my friend had to go back in with the receipt to get the Cheese dippers. I have no idea what the heck they have done but this fast food joint is terrible. I would avoid like the plague, overpriced lukewarm, tasteless bland pile of crud that you pay through the nose for. They have lost interest in making a decent quality food, I have no idea why anyone wants to continue to use this place, it really is that bad. Never again!!.

Just left with fries big mac for two, not been able to eat it, not even just like warm ! It’s stone cold stay away from the one at sainsburys waste of money

I asked for a large coke Zero with lots of Ice. They gave me flat warm coke Zero. No ice. French fries were cold and chewy. No dipping sauce for my mozzarella sticks. I've been asked 3 times in my last 5 visits to park up. Because of there filthy greed to serve the just eat orders first. This place has done a nose dive. Burger King 🤴 time.

We called here en route further north for a break and something to eat and use the loos. It was end of May and things were set up well for covid. Loos very clean and we took our breakfast to eat outside as it was a nice day and they have picnic tables with bins outside. All very well cooked and freshly cooked as was quiet and we waited for them to cook it, so nice and hot and tasty.

Terrible smell in and outside of premises presumably associated with toilets being out of use. Receipt printer not working so didn’t get an order number. Only providing takeaway. When opened box found one quarter pounder had no bottom to the bun and neither of the two burgers had the cheese that was paid for and was on the label on the box. Everything was stone cold. Fries were soft and cold. A most disappointing experience I won’t be repeating. The only item which resembled food was the milk shakes which were as advertised. £16.24 down the drain.

Absolutely appalled with the service, I used the contactless machine as instructed for my order and when I recieved my order it was wrong, I asked for them to correct my order which they replied its my error not there's instead of changing it to take one ingredient off, they where rude and refused service

Our family of four (the kids are teens) met with another of similar ages to have lunch here today. You know pretty much what you'll get at McDonald's - disappointing plasticky burgers and fillet o' fish, reasonable wraps, okay fry's, coke. All present and correct here today. There were limited numbers allowed inside, and ordering is via a screen to have less face to face contact with staff. Hand gel available at the door. Masks are needed for ordering and collecting food, but not for eating if sitting in. In good weather, it is nice to sit at one of the benches outside, and there is also a grass area there for kids to run around in circles and burn off some energy.

Can’t get a simple order right!! Absolutely baffles me. So annoyed!!!!! Home with only chips in a happy meal box a joke!

We were tired from a long weekend and journey. Stopped here on our way home. I went to the loo whilst the others ordered the food. It was the cleanest loo I’ve seen in ages! And it smelt fresh! Always a good sign! The food was good and the table and seating area was clean. Perfect for MacDonalds!

Has to be the worst McDonalds ever....absolutely no parking for sitting in or drive through. Why on earth would you need to park up to wait on chips and cheese bites for 10 minutes???? Badly designer and managed

I’m absolutely annoyed. So basically my feet are very sore after being out and they’ve just made me put my shoes back on eventhough I am in a lot of pain and have slippers on. The staff have been quite rude and shouting at us a lot but we just want to have fun. They should rediscover their rules because as a young adults im not very happy

At last a McDonalds that I’ve got no complaints about. I had the big+tasty with bacon and I actually enjoyed it , of course it did help that I had a food voucher with overnight parking so I didn’t actually have to pay for the food out of my own pocket .

Conveniently located on the M74 services. friendly staff, no surprises on the menu so thats good! Usual MCCYD's fair. Good stuff.

For a motorway services the toilets have always been located in a stupid place where you've gotta walk through queues of people waiting for food. I think the move to McDonald's in this respect is good as the environment is recognisable to new persons. Food was standard McDonald's fare, served timely and with helpful staff. Would visit again.

Stopped here recently with my wife and 2 kids on our trip away. The restaurant is really new so it's spotless. The food was really warm and the staff were great. Good seating and even clean toilets. All u need from a mcdonalds really. Will...

It's a franchised McDonald's. The food was hot, standard McDonald's prices and clean toilets. Really good cup of tea. The staff were helpful and polite. What more do you need from a quick meal stop.

Always stop here before heading back up the A9 to dornoch as the services at Stirling really are terrible. Since the refit toilets always clean and tidy. You have to wait a few minutes now for your order, ad it is cooked while you wait...

Have stopped here twice now and will never return, first time we cam there was ants crawling all over the place at the window seats and my wife and daughter went to use the restroom and ran back out because of the disgusting urine everywhere,...
